Fork & Spoon in New Braunfels is absolutely worth the visit! Even though the wait was about 30–45 minutes due to how busy they were when we arrived, the staff remained professional, welcoming, and attentive throughout. Devin provided stellar service and truly helped make the experience a great one. The breakfast/brunch atmosphere was spot on—comfortable, lively, and inviting. The food was delicious and absolutely worth the wait, and the menu offered a great variety of options to satisfy a wide range of tastes. If you’re looking for a solid brunch spot with excellent service and quality food, Fork & Spoon comes highly recommended.

Popped in at 3pm, a few tables were seated. Seated immediately and attended to by a great waiter that suggested menu items, being our first time to visit. Ordered Smoked salmon bagel, Texas schnitzel, and the bratwurst. All the items were delicious and would order again. Loved the coffee bar, so hard to find a restaurant that 1. serves coffee without “we have to brew a pot” and 2. was good coffee! Cappuccino & espresso too!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I have visited this place numerous times and the service and food have been consistently on point! On this particular visit, William was our server, and he was excellent. He made sure our coffee was never low and was incredibly hospitable and attentive. My go-to meal is the Scott Schnitzel with oatmeal, and it is always delicious and satisfying. Highly recommend this spot for great food and fantastic service!

The Fork & Spoon in New Braunfels is a fantastic brunch spot! The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. There was a bit of a wait for a table, but it was definitely worth it. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff is friendly. Highly recommend for a laid-back, tasty meal!

Classic dinner. Great food. It's never been too busy when I go, which is usually after 1pm. All the food I've tried has been good, if not great. The highlights for me have been the chicken fried chicken, chicken fried steak, and the French toast. The chicken fried items are large and taste amazing. You will definitely have leftovers or a meal for two easily. The front of the menu says they have the best french toast in Texas. I believe them. Each slice of toast is about the size of 2 slices elsewhere and comes with honey pecan butter. They also have a good selection of German cuisine that I have yet to try. And they are affordable. Last time there it was $28 for two after tip and tax.

The flavors are spot on, making each bite a delightful experience. Plus, the service is top-notch; the staff genuinely cares about your dining experience, ensuring you feel right at home.

We decided to come here this morning to start the Birthday off with a nice Brunch. The reviews did not disappoint. This place was absolutely delicious and our Server Michael is amazing and went above and beyond to give us a positive and happy experience. Even with this place being full and having to wait, our server was friendly and calm and attentive. We are very impressed with the food and the service we got today. We will be returning in the future!

Great homemade style breakfast. The potatoes are cubed and crispy. Poached eggs and scrambled eggs are tasty. They offer sourdough toast or biscuits. Both good. Wish they offered turkey bacon as well. Popular restaurant, so you may experience a wait for a table. Update: went back and ordered the French toast and pancakes. Omg, both were so yummy!!

I love trying new places to eat. Definitely a good place to try if you're passing through. The French toast is made fresh in house and is to die for. It just melts in your mouth. They have a good size menu, so with help from everyone on the staff I got the French toast and the Mediterranean skillet. The Mediterranean skillet has a great combination of ingredients, and I was pleasantly surprised by the sundried tomatoes. I love the coffee bar, decor, and friendly staff.

Food was a 7/10, the pancakes were bigger than my head, a ton of food for a average price. The atmosphere was amazing though they sometimes have a fire place they turn on when it gets super cold. Only thing I didnt really like was how far the chairs on the booth were i could fit 2 of me and there would still be room so i was sitting kinda uncomfortably. Their February's special was great the hot chocolate with raspberry I believed tasted great.

1-30-26 Wife and I stopped for lunch. Wife had Angus burger without bun. It was on a bed of lettuce with tomato, grilled onions, two patties, cheese and bacon so big it looked like a piece of ham. She got fries as well that covered the rest of the plate. Said the burger great, fries were hot and fresh. It also came with a side of chipotle mayo. I got Fork and Spoon Chicken. I chose sides of Bavarian Potato Salad and a side salad. The potato salad was warm and had a good flavor. The confusing part was the chicken. I could taste the same flavor on the chicken as the potato salad, but it was covered with cheese, pico and avocado. When I mentioned it to my wife, she said it must be German/Mexican fusion. It was good, but my taste buds didnt know what I was eating. Service was good and friendly. I sat looking at a beautiful picture of a castle that we found out was designed in Germany but not built. It was nice. Everything is a la carte...like everything. Do you want jam on your toast? That's extra. Butter on your grits? That's extra. You get the drift. I don't belive they seasoned much at all while cooking but there is salt and pepper on the table. My husband got the biscuits and gravy and wasn't very impressed. I got a veggie omelet and it was okay. I tend to judge resturants on their grits so I ordered those too and they had no flavor (not butter, salt or pepper) The service was friendly and food arrived quickly. The restaurant is clean and nicely decorated.

We went in for breakfast a couple of days ago. The customer service remains very good—our waitress was pleasant, attentive, and clearly working hard while managing multiple tables. She has been there for years, and it shows in her professionalism. Unfortunately, the food quality did not match the service. I ordered toast and two eggs over easy. The barely toasted toast arrived without butter, and the eggs were cooked very quickly, bubbled on top, and overcooked rather than over easy. They also lacked seasoning—salt and pepper would have helped, but I had to get up and look for condiments, including jam. We also asked for salsa. My partner ordered biscuits and gravy, which were just okay—not bad, but not memorable. The coffee, however, was below average and lacked flavor. I believe upgrading the coffee—perhaps offering better quality or flavored options—could really improve the overall breakfast experience and increase repeat customers. The cream was sitting out, and I later went home with a stomach ache, which made me question whether it was warm or possibly spoiled. Overall, the staff is still friendly, kind, and welcoming, and customer service remains a strong point. However, since the new owners took over, the flavor and quality of the food seem to have declined. I truly wish the food matched the level of service and what this place used to be. At this time, I’m not interested in returning, but I hope improvements are made because the staff deserves it.

This restaurant has been a family favorite of ours for well over ten years. We don’t get there as often as we’d like anymore, but when we do, it’s always felt special. We planned a visit today (New Year’s Day) and didn’t mind the wait, it’s always been worth it. Unfortunately, this visit was very different. I ordered my usual, something I’ve had many times before. Both my husband’s eggs and mine were severely underdone, to the point of being unappetizing. The green chile grits were completely unrecognizable, watery and lacking any flavor at all. The cream sauce on my crepes was overwhelmingly sweet, throwing the entire dish off balance. To say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I was genuinely shocked. Consistency and quality have always been what kept us coming back, and this experience felt like a complete departure from what we’ve known for years. I considered mentioning it to our server, but the restaurant was very busy and, honestly, I was too upset in the moment to have that conversation without it coming across the wrong way. I hate to say it, but after a decade of loyalty, this visit left me questioning whether we’ll return.

Called in for reservations 20 minutes prior to arrival and once we arrived on time they said we didn’t have a reservation which the lady that my wife spoke to never said we called.
