We were a party of 4. The service was a little slow, but the restaurant was crowded, and the food was acceptable. My issue is when the bill was presented, it stated, “suggested gratuity “. However, the gratuity was already added into the total. If you’re going to add the gratuity into the total, remove the word, “suggested “. Thank you!

The food was really good! I stopped by for some appetizers and got the classic ones — the artichoke dip was amazing. The service was okay, nothing special, but no complaints either. The atmosphere felt a bit different from other Applebee’s I’ve been to — a bit darker and not as lively. Overall, it was an okay experience and the food definitely made up for it.

When we first arrived, we weren’t acknowledged at all. We stood waiting while several staff members walked past without so much as a greeting, so eventually we seated ourselves. Menus were brought to the table without a word—no “welcome to Applebee’s” or basic courtesy. The only positive was Samaiya, who was genuinely friendly and welcoming once she came over—she was the one bright spot in the experience. As for the food, I had steak with mashed potatoes and broccoli. It was very average, nothing to write home about. To top it off, the bill arrived with a “suggested gratuity” of 18%. That felt excessive given the lack of service at the start and the overall average quality of the meal. Overall, if it weren’t for Samaiya, the experience would have been quite poor.

The Riblet platter I was served did not meet the expected quality. Although I enjoyed the riblets, which were well-prepared and tasty, the coleslaw had a bitter taste, possibly because the cabbage included too much of the stem. Additionally, the French fries seemed to have been double-fried, judging by their taste and color. Moreover, the male staff serving the tables had an unpleasant odor and appeared shabbily dressed, which detracted from the overall dining experience. I have been a customer of yours since 2005, with my first visit in Rhode Island, and I have grown to love your food so much that I’ve even hosted some officials for dinner at your New York location. I trust that steps will be taken to improve these issues and bring about a positive change.

Applebee’s was great, if you sit by the window and want a view onto time square you have to look over a balcony that has dead birds on top of it, it’s really off putting. Some of the older led lighting dosent work outside anymore and I feel it’s losing its charm please clean the over hanging roof and wash the windows it’s a bit of a concern when eating you meal. Food was great and staff were lovely too. Craig UK

I wish I could give this restaurant a negative 5 stars. Unfortunately, one is the only thing I can do. The service was pretty good. Ahmed was awesome. The cooks suck. They can't even make Pizza or steak. Mind you, these things are probably frozen. And it tasted like it weak Margarita.Definitely, would never come back.Go across the street and spend your money at Texas barbecue.This is not worth it

Usually I never have a problem coming to this fast food franchise chain but me and a group of friends came on January 7th around 9pm and had a horrible experience. Me and two of of my friends ended up getting food poisoning from not sure what but either the cooks didn’t wash their hands properly or some other reason but I’m furious!!! I’m still having stomach problems till this day and will be reporting them to the food department if necessary. Keep in mind I ordered an appetizer tray (wings, quesadillas, fries) so what could have possibly went wrong. Never again and highly recommend staying away if you don’t want to get sick 🤢

Terrible experience. Overpriced. There 2 for 30 dollars deal is actually 2 for 48 dollars if you want steak for you entree. A nice little upcharge (it was odd they didn't even bring out the menus for the 2 for 30 deal). Service was terrible. Not enough servers. Everyone else just stood around. When asking for something, they said wait for your server. Except the server was busy and was slow. Normally I would have more understanding for the server being busy. Except the server didn't try very hard. She just moseyed along. Waited a long time to order, to get the food, and even for the check. Never got any refill for the drink. Manager (I think?) told me to wait for the server to get my bill when I got up to ask for it. Just a terrible experience. Oh, also avoid the brown rice as a side. Tasted terrible.

What a meh experience. Prices were high. The 18% "suggested" gratuity was added and I had no say in the matter. Sat down for half an hour before anyone offered water, or to take our order. Ended up the hostess took it and got it incorrect. Christ and then the prices. Same restaurant but go to the one in Fresh Meadows and compare the price. Absolutely mid experience. Oh and just look at that bathroom. It wasn't like it was a busy afternoon (at least downstairs).
