Instead of another overpriced croissant at a hipster bakery, I was instead craving congee early in the morning after sitting in Washington Square Park. I didn’t feel like walking all the way to Chinatown and I saw that this place was the only place open at 10 am and walked right in. The guy who worked here was so nice, brought me water, and the Congee was just what I needed.
this spot has quickly become one of my faves. every single dish I’ve tried has been amazing: the tomato & egg noodle is comforting and flavorful, the congee is well done, and the pork rib noodle is cooked to perfection. portions are generous, the staff is the sweetest, and the whole experience reminds me of home. highly recommend if you’re craving delicious, authentic chinese food with heart
Cheap, delicious noodles and skewers by NYU. The decor is cute and pretty. Food is relatively affordable for the area, and the noodle portions are hefty. Favorites were the octopus skewers, the chili oil noodles, and the stinky tofu!
SO CHEAP and has the MOST AUTHENTIC chinese street foods!! Literally 2 mins away from Bobst. Their 煎饼果子,酸汤混沌,豆浆,茶叶蛋,羊肉串 made me so nostalgic 😭 We ordered: 1. 卤牛肉煎饼果子| Jianbing Combo with Tea Egg and Soy Milk ($10.75) Wow the jianbing was so big and the crispy shell inside was on point! The seasoning with sesame and sweet bean paste made the roll so rich in flavor. Just SO AUTHENTIC (even the price is pretty close to Chinese food prices)! I paid an extra $2 for beef instead of ham. So, so worth it. (Not to mention the handful of fresh cilantros and veggies they add in there too!) + Tea egg was so flavorful and soft. The soy milk is exactly the same as the typical sweet Chinese soy milk you’d get from 永和豆浆 2. 酸汤混沌 | Sour wonton soup ($6.99) So, so nice to drink on a cold, rainy day. Wontons were definitely hand-made cuz the sizes are very big, juicy, and tender. The sour and savory flavors balanced perfectly with each other. Tasted exactly like how my mom and aunt would make it 3. 羊肉串| Lamb skewers ($7.99) Didn’t try it but my friend from Beijing said it’s super good! Quite generous with their meats and seasoning
Awesome authentic plates that are just the right portion size. Cleaned off the plates. The homemade yogurt was nice. Modern spaceship-like retro decor
Brand new spot for local chinese food. The place is renovated very chinese style. Pretty unique. Good to try!

This is Manhattan's best kept secret for a quick bite without breaking bank. The place is super clean, the service is amazing, the portions are huge and the food is to die for! Will definitely come back. Protip: try the multigrain Jianbing, it's amazing!
Very cool space and food is absolutely delicious! Will visit again when opportunity comes
We liked the very creative stinky tofus, cold noodles, squid fries, popcorn chicken and Taiwanese sausages. The cold green bean drink was very authentic and refreshing like what I remember as a kid.
The noodle combo offers great value for money, generous portions and very filling. Recommended set: Spicy pork rib noodles + cold shredded tofu sheets + hot soy milk. The only suggestion is that the disinfectant smell is too strong, which affects the overall dining experience.
They should have more praise for their work. The team displayed sincere friendliness throughout. The kitchen showed good time management. This restaurant has stunning visuals. The workers showed sincere hospitality.

Craving authentic Chinese street food? Look no further! From friendly staff to cute decor, the experience is as delightful as the food itself. Our order included mouthwatering jianbing, savory noodles, pancakes, and more! If you’re in need of a quick and satisfying meal, Bing Noodles is the answer.
The staff was great. The jianbing taste was not balance well too salty . However, they hit the points of making traditional jianbing. It included egg, veggie ,and crisp fritter. The size was pretty big. The stinky tofu was not that stinky and too salty. I felt they over fried the tofu and it had remaining taste of oil. It made it taste greasy. I gave it 3 stars for the service but 1 star for the food. They have much more improve space to be valued at that price point. After tax for these two was around $20.
the food itself was pretty decent though it wasn’t as authentic as i expected. the lighting and atmosphere was what hit me. it was completely empty and a little sketchy but overall it was a good experience.

Cozy place to grab a quick bite - the beef bone broth noodle soup warmed me up. But the poocorn chicken was the winning dish that day - so yummy! My friend also liked the jianbing here.
$14 popcorn chicken over rice (includes 1/2 an egg, some pickled radish, bok choy, and lu rou minced meat) The meal itself was great. Fresh and good amount of chicken for 1 person. Rice was good enough as well. To compare, similar dish is $11 in Flushing/elmhurst. Pretty good for this neighborhood since it's near Washington Square park, NYU, ETC. Amazing deal if you use the BOGO deal on ubereats. Bathroom is a bit iffy since they have the mop setup there too but passable. There is ample seating inside. I would come again for the deal!

Had some good expectations for this place from all the great reviews and seeing my foodie friends experiences as well. Unfortunately it wasn't the best experience and I'm honestly not very picky. We walked in and there was no one at the front, we had to stand there awkwardly waiting, unsure whether we should walk in or not for a couple minutes. My friends ended up just seating ourselves since no one came out until about 6 min into being seated ourselves. We grabbed our own menus from the counter before we sat and were looking around but couldn't find the skewer menu that I saw on Yelp. We asked the employee when he gave us our waters and he went back to give us the skewer menu. I went up to order, said 90% of our order before ordering skewers, then he passed me a paper menu pamphlet from behind that looked like it was for takeout. They had a whole section of combos and skewer bundles that weren't on the regular laminated ones lying on the counter. I was confused why this wasn't on the regular menu and had to regroup with my friends to figure out what to order. But the combos are great and much more worth than the individual dishes if you're going to get multiple apps + dishes anyway. A delivery guy also came and nobody was at the front so he stood there confused and said hello? a few times for like 5 minutes before rummaging through all the take out orders on the counter n taking one without exchanging a word with any employee. We ordered: 2 orders of beef skewers - $15.98 These were good! I enjoyed them, but they came out on a take out container lid which I thought was interesting. Combo 1 - $10.95 Jiang Bing (Ham): This was delicious! A great value for the price, it was pretty big too and had a great combo of filling, flavor, and texture. This was also served on a take out container lid. Soy Milk: The soy milk had a little glob of what seemed like congealed soy that shot up the straw when my friend drank. Although I know a little later of film can form with soy milk if you let it sit, I've just never experienced this when I've gotten soy milk drinks at other places and it wasn't super pleasant in texture lol. The soy milk itself was alright, seemed a little watered down n something about it just wasn't the same, I probably wouldn't get it again. Tea Egg: This was yummy! A pretty solid tea egg with great flavor. This was the only dish served on an actual plate, which I thought was funny bc it was a single egg haha. Combo 2 - $16.95 Tomato Egg Noodle: I personally enjoyed this and think it's pretty solid comfort food! My friend said it was a little watered down from the noodle water at the bottom when he mixed it, so the flavor could have been better. Popcorn Chicken: I enjoyed this, the inside was really juicy, not dry at all! Wish there was a lil more flavor and crunch but I would get again. Soy Milk: Refer to comments above! Overview: + Popcorn chicken, skewers, + jiang bing is what I would come back for + Great value combos + 10% student discount + Affordable - Soy milk was a lil watered down and off - Service was almost nonexistent besides giving us water - Menus laying around were not the same as one handed to us that had better combos - The table next to us left about 10 min into my party being there and table was not cleaned for the hour that we were there or even when we left This is a new place and think they have things to improve on but also want to take into account that they def could have been understaffed! So I would recommend giving it a try if you're interested and seeing for yourself.

Had stinky tofu and baked cold noodles. Taste is very average. 2 stars because there’s flies in the restaurant very annoying when you’re trying to eat and makes me wonder about the sanitary conditions. Also my clothes smelled like food after eating there, not pleasant.
Is chopsticks that expensive? I ordered takeaway, and I want to grab a pair of chopsticks. She checked what I ordered and asked me why I need chopsticks for these.🤬🤬So mean…

Very small portion. Don’t recommend. Does it think itself is a $$$$ French fine dining⁉️it’s a cheap street fast food. Much more other Chinese restaurant options.

It is what it is this place sucks. Poor quality meats in their dishes. Chicken is that chewy kind that isn’t really white meat but more pink. The Place needs a good cleaning. The scallion was good but any meat based dish they destroyed. The noodles were over cooked mush. Server doesn’t speak English. Idk, Kinda necessary when taking orders. The place is a mess. Maybe they target a specific customer. Go see for yourself.
