Best experience ever, this is why i opened capital 1 card. This time because the place is less busy, my drink taste like heavy (look like heaven also). Better part is the have seats for you to work. Nice employees. Thank you ashley for serving us. I think the only cons they have is during rush hour, it might be too crowded and the service is not as good anymore.
Lots of space here, very busy and energy was high. Only 1 bathroom available though Raspberry danish was delicious I ordered the ginger matcha latte, not bad. Thought there’d be more range in the flavor Very helpful and social staff
Capital Bank Cafe, The Best 1. Free Wi-Fi, Water and Restroom. 2. Reservations for Nook 1, Conference Rooms for 60-120 minutes. 3. 50% Discount on coffee, sandwiches, and cake for Bank clients. For example, a Large Latte is $3.50 in Manhattan. Plenty of space to work on a laptop; as an IT specialist, I like that. 4. Excellent service, polite staff, good energy, security that makes you feel safe. Convenient location 1 minute from the Metro. I hope my review is helpful. Alex.
I’ve been to this location a million times. It’s super comfortable, lots of seating, and super friendly baristas and bankers! I go in for banking, to get a coffee, or just to hangout. I had the BEST experience when I went in for my morning coffee today with Norley (I hope I’m spelling it correctly 😭). SO sweet, and her + another barista answered all my random questions before ordering as well. Love it here!
Its a fun place to grab a quick drink and chit chat. You do not need to be a Capital One client to visit the cafes. Can use the sitting spaces to relax or get some work done. Does get busy in the afternoons. Has a restroom open to all. Staff members are nice and friendly helping customers with any and all questions. (They helped me get free drinks!)
Visited on January 3, 2026 around 6pm. Great location near Macy's and other stores. Gingerbread latte was delicious 😋 Thanks to Henri (lady with red/orange hair) who was making rounds around the cafe greeting customers for her excellent customer service!
What a great place to grab a coffee and snack in the heart of Manhattan! Clean, friendly staff and good coffee! 50% off if you use a capital one card as well. I visited a few times and will definitely visit again if I’m ever in town.
Some of the nicest baristas that I've come around. They are consistent with making the drinks well. They also have a positive attitude. They show that they care in subtle ways. I never heard of verve coffee brand before but their iced lattes are my go to. This was a much needed arrival as I no longer support some other coffee franchises. Nice seating place and restroom as well.
Half price lattes (in the heart of Herald Sq) if you use your capital one or discover card. Quality lattes for a great price. Came out to 2.99 for a small. They use a legit espresso machine from the Netherlands. Service was fantastic. All smiles and very friendly. Plenty of seating with space for laptops and working. Will 100% be back.
After stroll around Herald Square Macy department Store and Greeley Square Park, along Broadway neighborhood area store. Do remember fewer times make a stop at Capital One cafe nyc at herald square, at 53 W 34th St., New York, NY 1000. It's the best chill down large facility Cafe', extremely well set up Beautiful Environment with Amazing Service Station. Most of all as CapitalOne customer get discount from purchase at the counter!
I had passed this Capital One Cafe a few times on my trips to NYC and wanted to drop in to check it out. This time I dropped in and am glad I did. First of all though I am a Capital One card holder, this is not just for people who have a Capital One card or account (though Capital One card holders get a 50% discount on coffee). I got a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich. It was busy so there was a little wait. The staff were very friendly and provided great customer service. The inside was very spacious with a lot of seating and tables. Though it's located on one of the busiest corners in Manhattan, the environment inside is very relaxing. The coffee and sandwich was really good and I can definitely see myself stopping in again.
Plenty of space to co-work if needed. You get 50% off any purchase if you have a Capital One card! I love everything about this place. There are designated areas depending on what you’re trying to do. If you want a one-on-one with someone, there’s a giant bench set by the window with dividers, and it even has a spot to charge your phone or computer. If you’re looking to co-work, there’s a large table with outlets built into the floor. Toward the end of the space, you’ll actually find a Capital One bank, hence the name “Capital One Café.” I’m seriously in awe of this place!
Decent place to stop for food and drinks and warm up on a cold day. When I went, it was extremely busy pretty loud, and not much seating. However, we were able to find a table that opened up. Rhey had no chai, which was a bit disappointing, but oh well. Bathrooms were clean. Employees announced a 30 minute and 15 minute warning that they closed at 6pm. I would go there again in the furure.
I was in the area and wanted to stop by to get hot coffee on a cold day. Everyone behind the counter was super nice, coffee was good. The place was crowded and there were not enough empty sitting. The bathroom with a single stall had a little bit of wait and the worker attending to it was rather rude, telling people to not be long and knocking angrily on my door as I was pulling my pants up.
Such a spacious and nice place. Capital card gives you 50% off drinks which is great. They serve verve coffee. I got an iced latte but it was mediocre. There are so many spaces at the cafe. I went in the morning around 9am on a Friday so it was empty but I've passed by it on Saturday afternoons and it was packed.
The vibe here is kinda “meh”, but it is a corporate bank “cafe”, so take what you can get. Was here to kill some time after a cancelled appointment and waiting to go to another appointment. Was greeted immediately, which was nice! It did run me the wrong way, when I went to pay for my items and totally blanked on my phone lock code (which I just changed, so I didn’t remember for a sec) the barista said loudly “WHENEVER YOURE READY….” I guess she thought I was texting someone and not frantically trying to remember my phone code to pay for my order 🤷🏾♀️🤣 Ok spot to grab a drink and possibly a seat (if you can find one….that isn’t stained, that couch has seen better days). At least my Chai was tasty, and if you’re a Capital One member, the drinks are half off.
I’ve been to two other Capital One Cafes in Manhattan this one is my least favorite. There are basically a bunch of staff constantly passing around hall monitor style. For what? Not to make sure things are clean that’s for sure because this sat there for hours. I come here for a couple of hours at a time occasionally, to study. I noticed this female staff member tell a couple with luggage that they could not be sleeping here. She was just sleeping on his shoulder. Didn’t know that was a crime. 🙄 There is only one bathroom at this location and you are basically waiting in line for like 20+ minutes to use it.
Nice place to go in and relax a bit Seems like a lot of employees meet up here and travels who need a quick break. Drinks are half off for Capital One credit card holders. That was a nice perk. Drinks are ok. I got a mocha and had a burnt taste to it. They only have one bathroom stall which there was a long line to use the bathroom.
