Love this tiny bar with big personality! It's truly unmatched in being hospitable and welcoming. It's like a little oasis in the midst of the Big Apple. The wine is also always served fresh and delicious with sustainability in mind through their use of reusable steel kegs.

The drinks were delicious and playful (one had a little shark 🦈), the music was on point, and the whole place felt like a cozy, magical corner of the city. The bartender was incredibly friendly and welcoming. It didn’t feel like just going out for drinks — it felt like joining a little family for the night. Pocket Bar is a safe space, full of warmth, creativity, and connection. Thank you for the glowing candles, the tiny dancers, the popcorn, and the beautiful energy. To be fair, this rating has more to do with the bartender than the bar itself. M (her first initial) is a force of nature. I’ve been going to bars in NYC for nearly 50 years (I started young) and never before have I encountered a bartender who lit up a space the way M did. She danced, she sang, she conversed wittily…just give her the TONY already! I can’t really rate the food because all I had was the complimentary popcorn, but even that was very good. I’ll be back.

Great drinks at average price for NYC. Very cute bar with good vibes and some sign-a-long worthy music. The free popcorn with the drinks is a nice touch. Bartender was very nice. The bathroom is clean.

Had a fabulous and memorable evening here being hosted by bar tender Landon. We’d come from Wales and from the second we walked in he made us feel so welcome, introduced us to others at the bar and kept great music (which he carefully tailored to our preferences after asking what music we like) and conversation flowing! Our evening here will be one of the standout memories of our trip to NYC. We were enjoying ourselves so much we skipped our dinner plans and instead sampled most drinks on the small but quality list! Thank you Landon for such a warm welcome and for being the best host!

I realize the magnitude of the statement, but I believe this is the best bar in midtown Manhattan. Has, at once, the cozy, darkened feel of a speakeasy and the upbeat, happy vibe of a ‘90s dance club. The bartender is just amazing in her role as the cruise director! Cant say enough good about this place.
