The inside is pretty spacious, with lots of table and half-booth seating. The wall facing the street is covered with large window from floor to ceiling, bringing in lots of natural light. The next largest wall was filled with large photos, lit from the back. The other two walls had red brick walls, which I always love. It also had some Bangkok street signs hanging from the ceiling, which was pretty cool. Their lunch special is really great. You get a choice of an appetizer and a choice of an entrée for $9.50. No matter what you choose, the price stays the same. From the lunch special, we got Curry Puff, Steamed Thai Dumplings, Green Curry, and Sen Mee Neau Peuy. The food is really great here, it is more authentic than Americanized Thai food. Sen Mee Neau Peuy was especially great, flavorful and filling. We also had one dessert to share, Lychee Creme Brulé which was interesting and tasty. The service is not very friendly, but more efficient than anything. As the restaurant was mostly packed, speed might be more important than friendliness. With a very affordable, super yummy lunch special, it is understandable that they are one of the most popular lunch spot around this area. I gave a 4 because of the customer service but food overall was really good, the interior is nice, cool and chilled. The Steamed Thai dumpling were amazing and tasty, the pad kee mao was very good and I asked for mild, the kow soy was good, not too spicy at all, chicken was very tender and the sauce was flavorful and creamy.

Overcast Sunday random walk-in got us here. The place was not busy and we got an amazing window seat and got straight to ordering which included Kow Soy ($17.95), Vegetable Curry ($17.95) and, Curry Rice ($2.50) - a side portion which was enough to feed our little one! Food overall was inline with expectations; nothing spectacular, but not disappoint either. Not much spice kick, but the Kow Soy was packed with flavor and the Vegetable Curry, not so much! Decent portion sizes too. Service was slightly slow, but food arrived within 25-mins of ordering. Noise levels on the lower end. Will visit again for sure!

Went here on a Thursday evening and it was packed! We ordered the Gao soi (curry noodle) which was both sweet&savoury and the Pork&sausage over rice. Their portions are big! It’s such a nice spot for a quick and easy dinner around the neighborhood.

So you're looking for great thai food, huh? Well congratulations because you have stumbled across the right place. This is by far the best thai food I have had in NYC. From the appetizers to the entrees, they are all packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. I would have given this restaurant 5 stars, but the drinks were not great. Overall, a fantastic place for a flavorful meal!

Very tasty meal. Started with the papaya salad and calamari. Pomegranate ginger ale and thai ice tea. Curry puffy. Standard all good. Not blown away. Rice dish with ground chicken is sweet, soup vermicelli is good portion with big chunky of meat. also enjoyed the beef ball in it! My go to Pad Se ew order of shrimp is good(although i forgot to add my usual tofu), pad ke mao has tomato which is different. All the dishes came out fast and was piping hot. Mango sticky rice is fresh and sweet. Service was just ok but everyone is amicable.

The curries and basil fried rice were great. The Tom Yum soup was ok, definitely have tried better. The service is great and the inside of the restaurant has a cool vibe to it.

First time here and it was a pretty good place to eat. Sorry for the horrible pictures but we were starving and we just devoured the food. My partner and I had 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. Which for appetizers we had the spring rolls and chicken wings. Honestly some of the best wings I’ve had, needs a bit more seasoning but with the sauce they provided they were really good. For entrees, I had the beef pad Thai and my boyfriend the drunken noodles with beef as well. They weren’t amazing, the drunken noodles said they were “spicy” but they were sweeter more than anything. I give it a 3.5 star if I could because service was okay, I felt rushed when the server was taking my order. She came really fast the first time and we didn’t even get a chance to look at the menu. Then she came again 2min after and we were still deciding on what we were getting. We asked her a couple of questions about the entrees and she answered them and told her what we wanted and she tried to take our menus and I had to stop her so I can put an order for appetizers. All in all, pretty good restaurant.

I got take out after craving some real street style pad Thai like you get in Thailand. This was definitely not it. The noodles were slightly overcooked/mushy and no peanuts. Also they didn’t cook the noodles in the sauce seems like they added separately. Many reviewers love this place so I will have to try again and order laab or kra pao. Sorry to disappoint. Best Thai restaurant in US is Larb Zaab in Quincy, Massachusetts. I dream of it and for me, nowhere outside of Thailand compares.

Tried several times. Food quality, including materials used, is below average in NYC, for which prices are high especially in this location. Ordered Panang Curry with chicken, and it was served with chicken and tiny amount of vegetable. I must say that's the worst Panang Curry I have ever had. There are tons of better Thai restaurants in Upper East, midtown, and downtown. This is not attractive. Their tips are calculated with tax included, starting from 20%.

Unfortunately I can't comment on the food, as having made a reservation for 12 people - confirmed by phone, and by the restaurant itself by email the afternoon of the dinner - our reservation was inexplicably cancelled. What made matters worse was the unprofessional and unsympathetic hostess at the front desk (who said her job was not to pick up confirmation phone messages). So beware! Fortunately (with 12 hungry friends expecting dinner) we were able to decamp across the street to Awash Ethiopian restaurant where atmosphere, service and food were excellent (and the restaurant infinitely quieter).
