The Hairy Lemon is a lively sports pub known for its friendly bartenders (especially Glen and Greg), great atmosphere, and large selection of drinks. Wings are a standout menu item. It can get very busy, especially during sports events.

Tip: Visit on football Sundays to enjoy the lively atmosphere, but be prepared for it to be packed. Ask for Greg at the bar for an awesome time.

Fantastic atmosphere to enjoy a true Irish pub, authentic Irish music and all.
Excellent service, vibe, food, drinks, etc. I was there for the Bills Broncos playoff game and it was a great time. The manager Glyn is awesome as he helped me sort out an issue I had with a bill. 10/10 recommend and I will be returning soon!
Thr wings are really well done and saucy. Tots waffle fries and steak fries loaded are a must. Large drink selection and great service. A sports fans dream bar especially eagles fans.
This is our go to bar for football Sundays and honestly any other day. We absolutely love the staff (Glen is the man) the wings are AMAZING!! I also had my birthday party here in the side room and what a perfect little space that was they took care of us really well that night. If you're looking for a load back sports pub with friendly people this is the spot!!
This place serves outstanding wings, renowned for their large size, which exceeds that of typical Buffalo Wings. However, it's the mouthwatering sauce and perfect crispiness that capture the spirit of upstate New York. On football Sundays, the place is packed with fans, though I no longer find that appealing. They air all the football games and have an excellent selection of beers. The only downside is their somewhat erratic operating hours, so it's best to call ahead. According to a bartender, the hours listed on their website are accurate.
Over from Liverpool and stopped off for a drink. Great place - bartenders make it, they are very friendly and accomodating (young Irish lad and a bald chap). They were chatting and serving the customers and even took a request for a song off a customer. Didn't have food so no idea.
Surprisingly good little drinking establishment. The name is deceptive as it makes it seem more like a club or rough bar, but it's more comparable to a sports pub. Signs in the bathroom advertise Aussie Rules and the flags above the bar and over the ceiling are from all over the globe. From the outside it might feel like an Irish bar, but it's for more going on than that. A side room contains some bar games (Giant Connect 4 and some old arcade games) plus there's a pool table in the main space. Happy hour prices are reasonable and the bar staff were very welcoming.
Great Pub, love the vibe from the music and the unlimited access to a sporting event! Glen is the man, the myth, the legend at the helm! Greeting everyone as if they were a regular and always has a good story to tell! Stop by and give it a try! Its a Pub sans brunch, but with all the spirits you are in search of!
Bartender Greg is THE BEST there is!! He went out of his way to help, above and beyond in his kindness. Food was very tasty bar food, large portions. They have an impressive 14 (?) TVs for the size of the space and fun giant Jenga in the back. Hope you get Greg bartending to make it an awesome time!
The atmosphere in the place was great (and so were the drinks), but the bartender/manager really clouded the atmosphere. I sat at the table and within 2 minutes he came over and said that if I don't buy a beer at the moment then not to sit there. And he threw people out if they didn't order after 3-4 minutes of drinking. In short, the place is great, the service much less so
Phenomenal service despite being crazy busy. Within seconds of sitting down, the bartender handed us menus and took our order. Think dive sports bar. Only had beer on tap. Lots of tvs and different games. Don't plan on listening as they pumped music loud. Packed at 2 pm. on a Saturday. Mostly young 20s crowd. Everyone was nice. Guinness was about $9 a glass.
My friend and I were on a mini pub crawl while our spouses were napping. We hit this bar because of the super cool name. The bartender was from was Ireland and suggested we order cold Guinness. It was delicious and on tap. We didn't eat there so I could not recommend the food. It was New Year's Day, and the bar was just opening after a long night. We will be back!
Good ambience and music for some louder conversation. They have multiple large screen TVs for any sports games and feature Penn state games as well. There is giant Jenga and a pool table if that's your thing. I took a star off for the food, the wrap I got was small and the fries were mediocre at best. Otherwise service is good and quick. They are open late so that is a plus
Went last night to watch ufc. Pros: wings were good, drinks were solid. Crowd was fun. Bar was one of the cleaner bars I’ve been to in the city. Cons: They charged a very reasonable 10 dollar cover for the fights, then didn’t have the audio for the fights until the final 3 fights. Oh maybe they’d have the audio of some other sporting event? Nope, they play some loud awful music instead. Couldn’t hear my friends, or talk about the fights at all. They need to fix that before I come again.
Food and service are good. Reasonable prices for drinks ($10 - $17) and table QR code ordering is a plus as they bring everything out to you. My only complain is that I came here to watch the UFC fight as it was announced on their website/store that they will show it... and they did, just not audio and late. The fight also kept freezing on their screen so missed a few moments there. When asked about why no audio (club music was playing) the bartender blurted some along the lines of "we don't pay for the audio???" So, it was pretty disappointing as it was already too late for my group to go somewhere else. Don't advertise you're going to show a sports events and NOT have audio for it. I mean, that's the whole point of watching the sport.
The presentation of the dishes was appealing, but the overall experience was underwhelming due to issues with flavor and balance. The soft pretzel arrived warm and had a pleasantly fluffy interior, but it was excessively coated in coarse salt. While the texture was on point, the saltiness completely overpowered the dough’s subtle, comforting flavor. A lighter hand with the seasoning would have made this a much more enjoyable appetizer. The nachos were a mixed experience. The toppings guacamole, grilled chicken, jalapeños, pico de gallo, and sour cream were fresh and well-proportioned, but the tortilla chips themselves were flavorless and lacked any crunch or seasoning. The blandness of the chips made the entire dish fall flat, despite the effort put into the toppings. Lastly, the Bloody Mary I ordered was disappointing it tasted like it was made entirely of mixer with little to no detectable alcohol. It lacked the kick and complexity you’d expect from a proper cocktail, leaving it feeling watered down and uninspired. Overall, while the menu items had potential and looked inviting, the execution left a lot to be desired. A few adjustments in seasoning and drink preparation could greatly improve the dining experience.
I had a really negative experience with the bouncer on trivia night. My coworkers and I came for trivia night, and the girls were let in without checking IDs. The bouncer physically held me back as I entered and only asked me, the oldest in the group, for my ID. I gave him my state ID, which he insisted was fake. I'm 27, it's been years since something like this happened. I offered to show alternative forms of identification, and he snapped at me for arguing with him. I'm a little perplexed why a *trivia* night needed a bouncer this aggressive. We didn't know beforehand that we needed to buy advance tickets to get a table to sit at for trivia, so we decided to go elsewhere. That being said, we've been looking for a new place to play trivia and would've purchased tickets next time if not for this experience.
I went there yesterday on NYE. The bouncer was mad aggressive and was yelling at me and my friends (also insulted me and misgendered me) because I came outside with WATER. We tried to explain that to him and that if he communicated that with me before i went outside, I couldn’t hear him because the music was loud and I’m hard of hearing, but he wouldn’t stop yelling at us both inside and outside the establishment; All of this happened 5 minutes before the ball dropped too, mind you. I will not be recommending this to anyone i know, let alone any minorities since you only receive a good treatment only if you are a white man. 👍🏽
