Samosa chat, rajma chawal are the show stars 🤩 The owner is a very reasonable person. Loved the food 🥘 will come back soon.
It was our first time trying Indian good and we were unsure what to get. The employee there made us feel welcome there and even recomened some of the meals to us. The food was really good and surpassed our expectations. Highly recommend. If I lived in the city, I would go back.
Food quality is not good. Taste is average and price is too high. Food is served in small paper plates - not convenient at all. We ordered kadhi chawal, chole puri and paneer makhani- naan combo. Paneer makhani was the better of the lot but rest were not up to any Delhi standard. Suggest to avoid the place.
Ironic that this is supposed to be a chaat place because it was some of the worst chaat I’ve ever had. Ordered the dahi puri and bhel puri and they were both awful. The flavors weren’t even in the ballpark of what you’d expect and the ratios of ingredients were noticeably way off. I’m not even sure if chaat masala (kala namak, amchur, etc) was used at all. I’m so glad we didn’t order more initially because most of it went in the bin. The only slightly redeeming item was the dal, which was decent.
It’s frozen food that they are reheating and serving. They just have the good image and show, but the food is what we buy frozen. It doesn’t seem a good representation of our country’s food at such a prime location.
Too expensive. Paid $16 (with tax) for a Falooda. I have had way better falooda for much much better pricing. Looks fancy from outside but different story inside. Don’t waste money.
The food quality of this restaurant is very poor. The taste was not even suitable for eating- we had to leave Kadi chawal untouched. The curd was unusually sticky, which made it feel like something was mixed in. The rotis seemed frozen and taste was extremely disappointing . I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
They served me frozen food. I ordered Chhole Kulcha but I got a small paratha instead which was just reheat from frozen. They charged $17 for that which was way too much for what they served me. I don’t recommend this place to anyone.
Worst experience ever. They are offering frozen breads and prantas. Not at all worth it. The attitude of the owner was so bad that he don’t consider any of his mistakes. Please think before you enter and order from this awful place.
I believe that giving a one-star rating is also a waste of time for the restaurant. The food was not only terrible but also overpriced. The owner was the most disrespectful individual I have ever encountered, refusing to accept feedback and becoming aggressive, even threatening harm. Regrettably, food services in Niagara are inadequately regulated, and I spent nearly half a day in the area attempting to report the issue to the food safety agency responsible for the region. This effort proved futile, as the restaurant does not fall within the Niagara Falls jurisdiction. I visited the restaurant with two other families, and most of them experienced food poisoning after consuming the food there. It is unfortunate to note that it is quite pathetic in the United States that such restaurants are not properly regulated.
Plz do not come to this place if you are Visiting Niagra falls . They are buying frozen paratha’s and reheating and serving to customers . its unbelievable . I saw it with my own eyes and asked the person in the counter and he confirmed it . Also Tried their chole bhature . Bhature was also frozen . They brushed it with oil and gave us and the person in the counter told me . Fraudsters . Nothing is made fresh . Avoid this place
The Khadi we ordeted was so bad we asked for daal as substitute which came out to be stale. When informed we were told nothing wrong. The Naan in Paneer makhini is frozen naan. The price is 17.99 which is too much for frozen dish served in paper plates. Over all the experience is very bad. Please stay away from this joint.
Food is not upto mark. It’s no where close to Delhi flavors. Taste is not good. Especially don’t try Amritsari kulcha it’s no where close to it. Quantity is so less as compare to price. We ordered kadhi pakoda too and it’s pakodi where un breakable. I don’t know how they cooked them. Only aloo tikki was edible
pav bhaji’s quantity was so less , i have to ordered another time . and all the food was frozen . aloo paratha costs 6.99$ i mean it was frozen paratha , tikki was still frozen from inside . ordered dal makhni and naan . naan was frozen too . we are not stupid , we were sitting there ordered many times because my sister can fill her stomach , that poor girl was on fasting she can have only 1 meal a day . food quantity was less we ordered 3-4 times
They do not deserve even single star . They are only fooling people by selling frozen food . Today we experienced food here the food was overpriced and we were 5 people there for lunch . Quantity was so less , we have to order 3 times there to fill our stomach and spent around 120$ for frozen food . Tikki was still frozen from inside . If they are thinking that customer won’t get idea about that frozen food full of preservatives ,then you guys are wrong I can tell even products name ( deep frozen parathas and naan) you can’t fool people we are not stupid . And the price was crazy . And please inform people that you are not selling fresh food , ask atleast if anyone is allergic to these kind of food . Because my digestive system is sensitive and I’m feeling not good after eating your food ( chemicals and preservatives)
Okay so to begin with, the food tastes pretty okay. But the portion size and presentation for the price is absolutely ridiculous, and it should be a sin to charge people this much. Yes I understand niagra is a tourist place but damn is this unreasonable. For $17.99 you get a single garlic Naan ( a very small naan for sure, not the nice big ones you usually get) and a single small bowl of paneer. And to top it all, its all in flimsy PAPER plates. You would think paper is not that big a deal right? WRONG. it ends up being a deal when the bin is near the industrial fan which blows the paper plate onto you, spilling the leftover gravy all over your nice shirt. (True story) Also im pretty sure that the paneer that we had tasted very similar to the ITC pre-packaged paneer, i am very familiar with the taste. And the icing on the cake was the chole, with picture attached. Man was it the worst Chole ive eaten in my life. The chef had put so much black pepper that you could see the pepper flakes drowning in the masala. We took a bite and promptly asked for a refund. So no, I would never ever consider going to this place again, and i hope yall dont waste your money here.
Don’t fall to this restaurant scam. Wish I could do a zero or even a negative rating. We did the whole niagara tour and wanted to have some good indian food. Came here just looking at the ambience. The food quantity is not even good for a kid, also , the taste , I haven’t experienced such worst taste anywhere. Curries are all diluted with water ( it’s easily understood). They give you one bature and panner curry for 17.99 which is not even 16 oz and the taste anyhow sucks. Their masala butter milk is made with curd that’s already spoiled for days. Don’t come to this restaurant looking at the outside view. It’s even better not eating here rather than spending your money. Put your money into something that’s worth and doesn’t ruin your long day.
Absolutely disappointing experience. This place serves pathetic, reheated frozen food while charging premium prices — a total rip-off. The paratha, Amritsari kulcha, and everything else we ordered were clearly pre-packaged and microwaved. Zero freshness, zero authenticity. It's not just about the bad food — it's the dishonesty that bothers me. You cannot build trust or a loyal customer base by cutting corners like this. Avoid this place if you're expecting real Indian food. Total waste of money. Date : 13 July Time : 11:30 AM
A Disappointing Experience – Overpriced, Bland, and Not Worth It Visited this Indian restaurant during a trip to Niagara Falls and was thoroughly disappointed. The food was extremely bland—lacking the rich spices and flavors Indian cuisine is known for. Portion sizes were small, yet the prices were shockingly high, clearly taking advantage of tourists, especially those from India seeking a familiar meal. The place seems staged to attract Indian visitors, but anyone with a genuine Indian palate will likely walk away frustrated. For a city with so many food options, I’d strongly recommend exploring alternatives before settling here. This was one of the most underwhelming and overpriced dinners of my trip.
