The service and food here are always amazing and perfect. They have wonderful riggies, soup, pizza, and deserts. Their food trucks are great as well.
Every time I go here it is always good to. Whether I eat there or get food to go . They have very good sauce . Pizza is excellent, I like the Utica style everything wings their chicken soup is great . Staff is very nice
Great pizza!!! The owners are from Utica, New York...which is where I'm from! The pizza was excellent, and the counter person was friendly and outgoing! Excellent prices! I can't wait to try two items which were invented in Utica, NY...Chicken Riggies and Utica Greens. Even though I live in Utica...I'll definitely be back to try more of your awesome food!
First time here, but definitely not the last. Very deceiving place. When you walk in, it looks like an ordinary pizza joint, but don't let that sway you. The food is some of the best homemade Italian I've ever had. Chicken riggies were amazing, just the right amount of heat and large chunks of peppers and chicken. Eggplant was stacked high, like a lasagna, and oh, so good! Antipasto was delicious! Took home many leftovers. The service was excellent and friendly. So glad I found this hidden gem!
Great casual Italian eatery/pizzeria with table side wait service as well as beer and wine. We went for a late lunch and left stuffed for the night and had leftovers for the next day Sauce is a bit on sweet side, as is the Utica thing. If you love a great seasoned bread, be sure to try it, comes with salads and entrees. We enjoyed an antipasto, calzone, and French dip panini. All were delicious, high quality, and generously portioned.
My wife and I usually go here for dinner. My wife always gets the Vodka pasta and I will have either the special or my go to, chicken riggies. This trip we were in the area and decided to stop in for lunch. We got the combo special of a small pizza and 10 wings for $24. We also put in an order for the fried ravioli. If you've never had them, go ahead and treat yourself, you deserve it. As it turns out, this was the perfect lunchtime meal. We each ate the ravioli and pizza and I had a few wings. What I love! Other places go cheap on the blue cheese (old school, my choice) or ranch (not for me) dressing to go with the wings. They usually serve it up in one of those cheap 1 oz tubs forcing me to request more And then up charging me. NOT Utica Pizza, see the bowl (that's right: bowl) of blue cheese they gave me in the pics. If you haven't been here, try it! We took home pizza, wings and dressing. See the receipt in the photos for an idea of pricing. Reasonable pricing and good service. As a side note, when my daughters are in town this is the one place they insist on going.
Having lived in the Utica area, I can say the Italian food is amazing, so I had a high bar going into this place being that it is in Syracuse. I am familiar with the owner/family, so I knew I could have that bar set high and that would be fair/reasonable. We had their Thursday specials: eggplant parmigiana and lasagna. Both came with soup or salad and bread for just $14.99 (we upgraded a tad for Caesar salads). We also took two slices to go. Best eggplant parmigiana I have EVER been served in my life. And the bread was crisp and airy. Very happy to see this place exist in the burbs of Syracuse. Give it a try (dine off their weekday Specials menu…love Thursdays). You won’t be disappointed!
1st time order. We had chicken parm sub, mild wings, cheese pizza, sausage sub and garlic bread. Smooth ordering process, well priced, quick delivery and the delivery guy was really nice with a sense of humor. Food was very delicious, although I have to say the sausage is more a mild to medium (I cant eat spicy, and this was just mild enough to tolerate). All in All, we will be ordering again.
I went here years and remeber not being impressed, I decided to give them a shot again and I'm glad I did. I got a slice of mushroom and a slice of chicken. Sauce on both had good flavor and had the perfect amount. Mushrooms were not all watery and the chicken had a nice breading on in. Crust could use more salt. Cheese was just ok. For local comparison I'd say, Utica Pizza Company is better than The Pies Guys across the road (better flavor, bigger slices) and Toss and Fire (significantly more expensive)
Fantastic restaurant. If you are looking for quality food, quality service and generous portions this is the place to go. Do not skip the riggies, they are spicy and sweet and perfectly authentic. The restaurant itself is a little dated. This is a casual spot, best for lunch or takeout. The hostess was very welcoming and kind. Feels like a family kind of place.
It was my first time dining here; nice and quiet at week day late lunch. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food tasted good, especially the garlic knots! I was surprised though by the Italian wedding soup and not sure I would order it again as it was not what I was expecting. It was like someone mixed what they have left of chicken noodle soup with what they had left of Italian wedding soup. This might be how they normally make it 🤷♀️. It wasn’t bad, just not what I wanted.
Tried the 2 slices and side salad special for $8.99 overall price wasn't bad. The ricotta and tomato broccoli was good overall. Went w meat lovers for slices, wasn't bad. Crust is great for sure , sauce ok at best and meatballs they use in it was blah. Side salad was basic at best Would try again but go w fresh made pizza, not warmed up one.
I just wanted a quick stop-grab a slice and go. I had never been here and figured it was like any other pizza joint, approach the counter, order, pay, leave. When we walked in on a Saturday evening the place was dead, and nobody was anywhere to be found. There was a huge sign right inside the entrance that said "seat yourself", so I thought that was the only choice we had. After sitting down, a VERY rude and unpleasant older blonde lady came over to take our order. After being told that we can't split the sauce flavors on a 10 piece boneless chicken wing order, they came out dry, overfried, and completely lacking in flavor- which was supposed to be garlic parm, but was literally just melted butter with a shake of parmesean powder. We brought them home and they went straight into the trash. The pizza was just okay, not even really good, burnt on bottom. Definitely not worth the price, time, or gratuity. There are plenty of places in CNY that serve good Utica Greens, so this place is nothing special...especially for a "pizza" place.
Actually, sorry to say, but I was really quite disappointed. Picked up an order on Christmas Eve day about 1:30 PM and I got it home. There was no bread and also the crackers that went along with the soup, was open with the three oyster crackers inside, so I guess I got someone leftovers, When it came to the crackers. Condo
Their portions are small. I do love their vodka riggies… but (and correct me if I’m wrong), this is not corn chowder. I ordered corn chowder and it wasn’t until I got home until I realized this is not the soup that I ordered. Very disappointing, because that’s what I was looking forward to tonight. I don’t even know what this soup is called.
Very disappointed 😔 first time ordering calzones and I will never again. Wish I was told that you have to ask for regatta cheese on a calzone. All we tasted was cheese, crust so thin it literally was like a thin crisp. Also ordered the chicken tender kids meal. So soggy fries were put on top of tenders the breading came off of them. Very very disappointed 👎👎
The blandest pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Stopped in here on a lunch break, the pizza looked great so I was excited. Got a slice of cheese and was utterly confused how a pizza could have no flavor. No exaggeration when I say it tasted like nothing. I was basically eating dough. I recognize that my standard for pizza is Brooklyn quality but I’ve had pizza with more taste from little ceasars of all places. The employees working were very kind and welcoming, that’s about the best thing I can say about this place. Additionally a personal sized soft drink cost more than my slice of pizza which is just confusing.
I have gone to the restaurant multiple times. Unfortunately we always get the same server Karen F. She is not only miserable but she talks about other customers, rolls her eyes, makes comments to the other servers about customers, etc. Very off-putting, unprofessional, and just plan inappropriate. She makes you feel like you’re a bother and are somehow strange. She either needs to be retrained or let go. I will give it one more try and see if this comment has done anything to address this situation.
