I’ve lived in Buffalo about 20 years and I’ve never had better wings. Pickle pizza was just right, too!
First time we ordered pizza and wings from here..It was EXCELLENT...Thank you very much
We live right in back of Wurlitzer. We order from there all the time.I ordered the Chicken Quesadillas . They were so delicious and their white pizza is by far the best white pizza ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad I have such a great place right next to us, that serves fantastic foo!!!!
I love Wurlitzer pizza and have since they opened back in the Wurlitzer bldg. Their white pizza is a great change of pace from the regular red sauce , we like half green peppers and half hot peppers, it's great 👍We really love their chicken fingers. In fact , Everything we've ever ordered from them has been very good and has not disappointed any of us
Ordered fish fry’s on a Friday night for take out. Order was ready on time (around 7) and had no issues. Fish fry was great - the fish was large and thick. Not overly breaded like some places and you’re wondering where the fish is. Good portion of Mac salad, coleslaw and french fries.
If you are a vegan or plant-based eater living in or visiting WNY, run—don’t walk—to Wurlitzer Pizza now. If you love dill pickles, I recommend the garlic dill pickle pizza. But the vegan stuffed banana peppers… these are a *must*. Just, wow. I’ve heard the wings are also incredible, along with basically every other item on the vegan menu. I live down in the city and made the trip all the way up to NT so that I could enjoy some good comfort food on my birthday. 100% worth the extra drive and I will definitely be revisiting again and again. As a recent transplant from NYC (where delectable vegan food abounds), all I have to say is: thank you, WPC!!!
This place needs more reviews! So happy I found them on my way through. Best vegan wings around based on my trial and error. The hots weren’t too hot really at all but the honest mustard was delicious. I wish I got more! Then grabbed a vegan strawberry milkshake at the ice cream spot. Talk about a great night 😂
Who would have thought that a tiny pizza place in North Tonawanda would have such a large vegan selection. We got the vegan chicken finger sub and oh my goodness, it was delicious. I think they subbed chicken for tofu, but you could barely tell. We also got the Mediterranean pizza on thin crust with garlic seasoning and it was super good. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for some not so healthy but delicious drinking food.
I picked this spot for birthday dinner takeout and it did not disappoint! Very vegan friendly, and my non-vegan boyfriend loved our vegan meal as much as I did! They even had vegan shakes and the peanutbutter chocolate shake I had was delicious. I wish I had ordered a larger size! I am excited to return and try more of their menu!
As you can see by my review below that my prior visit wasn’t good. I have to say that I tried again and the service, food and customer service was great. They made up for what they wete lacking. Thank you! Placed an order online for a sub, chicken wings and fried mushrooms. When I arrived the place was empty, no other patrons, and I was unpleasantly greeted by a girl at the back of the kitchen. I told her I was here to pick ip an order and was asked - what order. Since there were no other orders there I assumed she would know but I told her anyway. I was slid the order and told you’re good. When I hot home the wings were so badly burned they were not edible. The sub was soggy and the mushrooms so drenched in grease it was gross. I called them back explained about the wings and was told to call back in an hour and ask for management. I took the wings back in and was greeted by the unpleasant girl again. She took my name and number down in s binder, never looked at me, never apologized or offered any explanation and that was the end of the transaction. I worked to hard for my money to be spent for marginal food at an unappreciated place. I have had very good experiences in the past but this set a new tone. I will not be returning.
We have been ordering from you guys for many years, one of my children even works there for a little while, one of our favorite pizzas from there is the stuffed banana pepper pizza which we ordered last week, it seems somebody left the seeds in the peppers because the pizza was way too hot to eat And was a waste of $30
We order from here at least once a week and they are usually great, but recently have been disappointed with wings and fingers. Horribly burnt fingers. You know they saw it before trying to cover up with sauce. Looks like we weren’t the only ones with burnt food recently from reading other reviews.
I arrived to pick up an order for someone else (2 pizzas and a fried dough) about 5 minutes past our estimated order time. The guy behind the counter asked me to wait while the fried dough was finishing up and said he'd bring the order to me when it was done. I grabbed a seat and figured it would take about 6-8 additional minutes, but wound up waiting almost 20 minutes. When I went back to the counter the same guy was talking to his buddy so I waited silently to see if he'd notice. After 45-60 seconds he finally stopped and saw me, then hurriedly grabbed the boxes sitting nearby and sent me off. I was told the pies were fine but the fried dough was like trying to eat soggy bread with a pound of cinnamon on it. Service experience tracks with what I've been reading throughout.
I really struggled with wheather or not to write this, but I have to. We've been long time customers of Wurlitzer Pizza back to when they were in the Wurlitzer building with the curtains on the windows and tables with cute tablecloths. We found our favorite. Lately, not at all. Yesterday I ordered the special, medium, ten (10) wing's. I specifically asked for thin crust and cut like a pie NO square's. For the third time, no thin crust and of course it was cut in squares. Sadly, this was our last order. I genuinely like supporting small local businesses, thankfully their are many other pizzas that give us what we order. This was Thursday February 26th at approximately 5:00 p.m., just in case the manager wanted to look over the orders.
ordered take out for the first time, wont be back again, over priced for what it was, we got a large pizza half peperoni half just cheese, hardly any peperoni, also got double order of boneless wings, half BBQ half plain, wing were over cooked and very crispy a few were almost burnt. pricing is too high for quality/portion of food. too small of a size for a large pizza almost not enough 4 adults and 1 child. $57 for what we ordered. also we asked for a side of hot sauce because we ordered half the wings plain, we were charged an additional 85 cents for a cup of hot sauce. i would understand if it was an extra item but we ordered half the wings plain. it should have been included it is what prompted this review.
Eating specialized food here is a waste. This is a Owner or Manager problem. The employees shouldn't be heald accountable. I did not eat in store. I felt bad for yelling at the employees for this one which is how I got small salad & medium pizza to my house for $43.47. That was before the pizza came! I ordered a Gluten Free Pizza which came with about half of pizza worth of topping. It's a Medium pizza compared to a normal large wheat flour pizza in size. I will add that it was an average pizza not over the top delicious. Just ok, but I just do not understand how it can be this much. & One SIDE salad which you will see in the pics it was being shared with my parrot. He can get very sick from spoiled foods. The rest of the salad SEEMED very fresh & I had to throw my salad out as you can see why in the photos. Plus I live probably 3-5 miles, at most... Cannot get much closer & my delivery fee was $5.50 I should have not gotten my food from here, what saddens me the most. They used to be my favorite place to go or get food from! If we continue to pay these high prices, we will continue to see these high prices. Why don't we get together & strike (by not ordering for a month) maybe then these prices will go down. I am utterly disgusted!
There is rarely something so egregious that it forces me to take action. My first experience with this business happened today. I was so excited to support this business and their vegan options. I cannot in good consciousness recommend this for anyone. If the owner is serious about bringing vegan options to the community, I am willing to help because what would we be to let others fall for this? I ordered 2 medium pizzas and a Personal deep dish pizza for $77 that was so inedible I could not in good consciousness give it to a homeless person because it would be an affront to the homeless. If this owner is not willing to make changes, I will be the competition.
I love Wurlitzer Pizza but my most recent experience was not good. To start to girl that answered the phone was extremely dismissive and rude, rushed through taking my order, and didn’t even give me a total just told me my order number then hung up the phone. I brought my food home to find the deep fried cauliflower I ordered was not only burned but wasn’t even a full order. The subs we had were okay but definitely not the usual standard. Very disappointed.
