Out of this world. We had a last-minute guest with a gluten allergy, and Sides didn’t miss a beat. They created a separate gluten-free dish on the spot, and our guest said it was the best gluten-free meal they’ve ever had. That kind of flexibility and care is rare. The spread we ordered: • Fried fish – fresh, flaky, and perfectly crispy • Smoked chicken & jumbo smoked wings – deep, smoky flavor and super juicy • Jumbo fried chicken wings – crispy outside, tender inside • Jumbo barbecue wings – sauced just right without being overly sweet • Grilled, cut-up chicken breast – tender, well-seasoned, and delicious • Fried cabbage – a surprise family favorite with great seasoning • Cornbread and gluten-free cornbread – my family said it was the best cornbread they’ve ever had • Ribs – well-seasoned and really, really good Every tray was hot, generous, and seasoned to perfection. The fried items stayed crisp, the smoked meats had beautiful flavor, and nothing was bland. My entire family kept going back for seconds—and thirds. We have been to the truck multiple times and can’t get enough!!! The food has always been hot and so flavorful compared to other “bbq” food trucks in the DMV area. The owner (Chef Jackson) is super friendly and explained how to go about placing a catering order for a future event. Hands down some of the BEST bbq sauce I have ever had and it’s 100% homemade 🤤🤤🤤🤤

The ribs were Ahh-mazing... the customer service was on point... very friendly people.. for some reason it wouldn't allow us to get delivery and we weren't that far from the shop... and they went ahead and brought it to us cause we called... the sides could have used just a little more seasonings... but it fixed the craving that I was having

I happened to stumble across this business while ordering through Postmates/Uber Eats. I knew as soon as I saw the menus I would love this food. The smothered pork chops are my go to for a main but then I like to shake things up by trying the meatloaf (excellent) or the fried chicken. I’m going to continue to order from them because their food reminds me of back home. I hope they stay around for a long time.
