Great venue to see bands. Sound is excellent, staff is very cool and overall an awesome atmosphere.

3rd Thursday! Of the month is where it's at here! The team here is very positive and professional! Bartenders are top tier and their drinks are amazing!!!! I love the atmosphere here! A must check out while in town!!!! My favorite! ! ! !

They need to get some food. Everyone doesn't like Nations.. bar service was great! Special Event is held there 1st and 3rd weds Talk that Talk hosted by Epitome. It is a spoken word, poetry, music showcase and even some comedy 😃 8pm until 11pm $5 entry

The Elbo Room has been great to us! We as a band have played a few shows so far and it's always a fun turnout! Jimmy and Dean have created a vibrant space with amazing music and tasty cocktails! Popped in for a drink before a movie at the near by theatre (which ended up being a private showing since we were the only ones there) and met a super friendly bartender called Eric. Door guy also on his game . My date and i appreciated the welcome after a near by Irish bar was not so friendly at all! Hopefully will be back and try to bring more business to the Elbow Room and Eric👍.

I had my 1st visit this past Saturday. I two of the champagne cocktails because it was so delicious and a shot of Tequila. Atmosphere was nice and chill, great music and an old burlesque film was being played as well. I'm definitely going back 💜

Elbo Room Jack London is almost identical to their Valencia location. Inside is a little dim, but not that you won't see what's going on. Plenty of seating styles from cushion booth to bar counter. Depending where you're seated at the counter, you may get a chance to see television reruns from 50s-60s showing. Indoor phote booth and ATM machine. Strong cocktails with $4 well drinks and a buck off all listed cocktail during HH. Happy hours is daily 4-9pm touts the longest in any Oakland bar. Only bar snacks is pretzels and it's cash only. Bartender mostly down to business demeanor, but will talk it up on any subject.

Clasic and cozy venue for drinks AND entertainment. On my first visit, I missed the upstairs portion of this venue. Enjoy!

The bartenders could have a bit more personality, and be a bit more friendly. They could definitely smile more and make you feel more welcome. The manager was very nice. DJ and music are good.

All of their events are listed as starting at 7. They do not actually start at 7. Also, for some reason there is an electrical outlet directly under the paper towel dispenser that you might find with your wet hand. Good luck!
