Best Valentine’s dinner in a long time. Food and Service at the Polo Pony surpassed even Vegas and New York. Our server Tara was amazing. She provided exceptional service and top notch suggestions. We had a burger, stake, lobster rolls, and drinks. Ended the night with a delicious smores cheesecake. We will be dinning again, book your reservations now, they fill up fast!

A special highlight was meeting David Lewis, the General Manager, who graciously provided us with a tour of the Manor. His hospitality and pride in the property elevated the visit even further and made the evening feel truly special. Restaurant Polo Pony delivers excellence in every aspect and is a must-visit for anyone seeking an unforgettable dining experience.

My friends and I went to have dinner there tonight and watch the Super Bowl. Simply stated, it was outstanding. Our server Jordan was amazing. Attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. Our bartender Liam knows how to make a great drink. The food was delicious and the atmosphere is perfect. By far the best dining experience we've had in Ocala. Cudos to the entire staff for making this experience so memorable.

Had a really great experience at Polo Pony. Food was excellent and the service was honestly amazing. Everyone was friendly and attentive, and the vibe was exactly what we were hoping for. We did have a small hiccup, but Fabian, the manager, stepped in right away and handled it so well. He actually listened, didn’t make excuses, and made sure everything was taken care of. You could tell he genuinely cared about our experience. Because of that, we left feeling really good about the whole night. That kind of management makes a huge difference. We’ll definitely be back.

We were alittle nervous about coming here at first but once we arrived we were highly impressed. Reservations with at 545 and they were able to sit us early. Our waiter, Curtis, was amazing. Super friendly, stood at the table and talked to us like we were old friends. Good was amazing, I had the chicken and waffles, my girlfriend has the steak. You could cut it with a butter knife! I will for sure be coming back again!!

Kamren was our server and was the perfect combination of professional, knowledgeable and fun. Her food recomendations were spot on. The beef ribs were the best I have ever had !!! She went out of her way to take care.of extra.plates as we shared salad and dinners. Here wine knowledge was vast . We had an amazing dinner and finished it off with a few specialty drinks from Jordan. She made a chocolate espresso martini that was the best we have ever had. Thanks Jordan & Kamren for a wonderful evening.

We had a wonderful valentines at polo pony with Megan as our server. She made our night - so upbeat and happy to be there with us. The food was spectacular so many thanks to chef Roland for the short rib. We especially loved the corn bread!!

I wish I could give them 10 star rating ! Polo pony is amazing in every sense, starting with food presentation and taste, chef Nate and Roland did awesome. Our server Tony helped us to choose the best food and drinksTony was very professional and energetic while serving us there was no dull moment.Jay the server assistant was excellent with crab and corn chowder when he poured the soup.He is very polite. Everything about our visit on Valentines was amazing. Food portions were oerfect and well done. Bartenders make an excellent drink. And Tara, our server, was phenomenal. Her recommendations were on point as well. Highly recommend!

The best dang filet I've had in ages. Worth the drive from Gainesville alone. The pork belly sliders were amazing too. Hell, everything was delicious. Plus plenty of self parking spaces and valet. This easy of parking perk might be lost on non-Gainesville readers. 🤷‍♂️

Last night we went to The Polo Pony in Ocala with family and friends. At first, things didn’t start great, the food came out cold and the steaks were overcooked, which was disappointing, especially on a night out. But Manager Fabian completely turned the situation around. He came to our table personally, brought us drinks, and even shared a funny story that made everyone relax and laugh. You could tell he genuinely cared about making it right. When the food came back, it was hot and cooked perfectly. Big difference. Honestly, what stayed with us wasn’t the initial mistake — it was how it was handled. Great service makes all the difference. We’ll definitely be back because the experience and the way they treated us mattered most.

I had an amazing experience! A wonderful young lady by the name of Shilo took care of myself and my fiancé. The atmosphere the food, the decor amazing everyone in the building seem to be having a good time. And the Divot Stomp… DEVINE! <3 Can’t wait to celebrate our valentines back at WEC next year!

Rick, the host, was amazing. We had a huge party, and the GM, David accommodated us on the patio. We had a dog with us and they brought us a dog menu so she was able to order as well. Samantha, our server was on top of it. Kept the drinks comings and was so attentive. I will definitely be returning. The food was fabulous as well!!!

Our server Alec was extremely courteous, patient and helpful in every aspect of our visit to Polo Pony! We will be asking for him next time! He is a keeper for this fine dining establishment. Food filet mignon was ok and coffee cups need a saucer. Otherwise a WONDERFUL experience!

Absolutely gorgeous. My family and I have lived in Ocala for over 20 years now. We've been waiting patiently for The Manor and the new restaurants to open. I had the pleasure of sitting in the beautiful main bar area. Instantly greeted with Christina the bartender. Full of energy and an amazing smile that made my Husband and I feeling warm and welcomed. I asked her what a few of her favorites were' she couldn't stop raving about the duck fries and the ribeye steak. And of course we added the garlic herb and shallot butter on top.(Christinas Suggestion) My steak came out a perfect medium. My husband ordered the beef rib. I could never cook something like this at home. My husband and I are so happy to be Polo ponies new regulars. If you're in the area stop in and visit Christina at the bar. Must try the palomino in the Pink pony martini. It comes with a delish macaron. A little dessert before your dinner.

Beautiful venue with great food and drinks- wonderful ambiance whether you are an equestrian or visitor. Our servers whether at the bar or table have been excellent. Rick the host is the ultimate professional who takes care of the customers - very personable and always the friendly face upon arrival.

I had the most incredible experience this evening all because of my Bartender Jordan. Her expertise with the drinks, the food service. Everything was Absolutely incredible. Couldn’t suggest this restaurant and this employee anymore! And on top of it, I got this service on Valentine’s Day!

Great service and great food. We tried multiple entrees and appetizers. Everything came out quickly and nice and fresh. The salmon was so flavorful and one of the best salmons I’ve ever had. Drinks also were unique and delicious. We dined with our two kids and they also were very accommodating to them and getting them fed quickly.

Jeremy was our waiter. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and helped with our selections. I had Mary’s ham and Brie and my husband had the salmon. Both were perfect and the portions were generous. The special drinks were outstanding so very creative! We will be back

The Equestrian Manor is quite spectacular. The Polo Pony is beautiful and the food was great. The service (Tara) was fantastic. Prices are what you would expect for an upscale restaurant at WEC but the experience is worth it. Not too many people there as I don’t think most know about this restaurant yet.

We had a great meal, the food was great but the service from everyone was impeccable. The whole experience from being seated to our great server Kamren taking care of us. She was so sweet, patiently, attentive and friendly. She was truly the best we will be back to eat here and request our great server Kamren again and again!

Food was delicious. Big portions. Jordan, our server, was so sweet and had great suggestions for cocktails. Liam, the bartender, mixed them up terrific. Would definitely go back.

Huge fan of this place and shilo is one of a kind! Came in for Valentine’s Day and was wowed all the way around. Shilo provides stellar service and polo pony serves stellar food and crafty cocktails. Will definitely be coming back to see Shilo as frequently as I can without coming off creepy! ;)

Adam was our bartender last night We had 12 of us here for the volleyball tournament and the bar was packed. A table left and he immediately cleaned and set it up for us as soon as we asked if we could sit there. We have 6 teen girls who are picky about how the food is and all of our orders were on point! The cocktails were perfect and the service the best we have ever had! We will be coming in the rest of our stay for dinner every night and we are now permanent customers when we are in town. A huge shout out to all the Polo Pony bartenders and staff for an amazing experience that we will remember and tell all of our friends about!!!

Our server, Kamren, couldn’t have been better. She was knowledgeable, attentive and kind. She made our first visit to the Polo Pony very enjoyable. We shared multiple appetizers that were all delicious. Dessert was to die for! Can’t wait to go back.

The Polo Pony was absolutely fantastic! The lobster rolls were incredible — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The mussels with chorizo were delicious and packed with amazing flavor. I also had the 16oz ribeye, and it was cooked perfectly and tasted great. A special shoutout to Rick, the host, who was excellent. Even though they were sold out, he went out of his way to accommodate us and made sure we had a great experience. That level of service really makes a difference. Highly recommend — we’ll definitely be back!

Polo Pony was honestly such an amazing experience. The atmosphere is beautiful and everything just feels so well done and elevated, but still super welcoming. The food was incredible and you can tell they really care about quality. Our server, Britni, made the whole night even better. She was so kind, attentive, and genuinely made us feel taken care of the entire time. She gave great recommendations and had the perfect balance of being helpful without ever being overbearing. Definitely one of my favorite spots in Ocala—highly recommend, and if you can, ask for Britni!!

We were visiting from Canada and from the moment we arrived, the hospitality truly stood out. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, this gentleman immediately worked to secure a table for us. While we waited, he kindly offered us seats at the bar so we wouldn’t have to stand around. It was a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the entire evening. We were eventually seated on the patio and had Blas as our server, who was excellent. Throughout the night, the same gentleman came by to check in and make sure everything was going well. That level of attentiveness and genuine care isn’t something you come across very often anymore. The service was outstanding, the food was absolutely amazing, and the overall experience was one to remember. Before leaving, we made a point of finding the gentleman to thank him personally and discovered he was one of the managers. Thank you, Fabian, for making our evening so special. We’ll definitely be back, and next time we’re bringing friends along to see you again. Great job.

Came here on Valentine’s Day. Our waitress Megan was excellent. I have a gluten allergy and Megan was very accommodating and always was making sure I had a good experience. Chef Roland’s food was excellent. We order the braised pork and salmon….honestly the best salmon we’ve ever had. Would highlight recommend to others in the Ocala area. We will definitely be back!

Had lunch today and it was exceptional. I had Mary’s ham and Brie on focaccia and It was incredible. My wife had the chicken and waffles and this too was awesome. We started with the corn and crab soup that was prepared and served tableside. Absolutely delicious.Dessert was the berry cobbler which was also sensational. The icing on the entire lunch was out server, Yanillette. She is Such a sweet girl. Excellent server and very professional. The WEC is always a great day out and this new restaurant is a wonderful addition.

I recently dined at The Polo Pony, and while the food was delicious, the true highlight of the meal was my server, Tara. From the moment I sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She knew the menu inside and out, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made me feel completely at ease. What impressed me most was her attention to detail. She anticipated my needs without hovering and checked in at just the right times, even during a busy rush. Her professionalism and kindness elevated the entire experience and made the meal truly memorable.

The Polo Pony is an absolute delight, in every way. The menu had wonderful variety and every dish we tried was both flavorful and beautiful. Our group of 8 received stellar service from Tara, who catered to our every need with warmth, friendliness and good humor. Jay also made sure we had everything we needed and did so with not just a smile, but with true interest in our party. Our dishes were fantastic, the cocktails superb (and fun!) and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. This new restaurant is not to be missed! Be sure to try Mary’s Ham and Brie (with truffle fries) and also the orange blossom honey glazed salmon. 5 stars!

We went in on Valentine’s Day for a nice lunch and were blown away. Food was great, vibes were great, but the icing on the cake was the terrific server — Kamren was amazing. High energy, bubbly, funny, charismatic, and with great recommendations for the menu. She really made us feel like we were at home and elevated the already great experience to another level. Highly recommend — the wings, burger, and chocolate cake are to die for.

The Polo Pony is a newer restaurant in the greater Ocala area and at the WEC and does not disappoint. Service is absolutely on point. My server, Destiny, was the highlight of my dining experience, with her gentle hospitality and compassion. I will make sure to specifically ask for her next time I go. The food was also amazing, props to the cooks. I would definitely recommend this place and my server to anybody who is interested in trying this restaurant.

It just opened so hoping they are working out the kinks, but everything is so so so salty. Grouper sandwich was good but very salty. Fries were over salted but had good texture though a little cold. The duck fries appetizer was delicious 😋 but again too much salt over powering... Will definitely be back to try again and different food items! Just hoping they lighten up on the over salting of all the dishes and gravies. Love the huge screens for sports! We needed a good sports bar in the area. Beer selection was lacking. I couldn't wait for this place to open and have craft beer, and it just didn't deliver. It's the standard mich ultra, Stella, shock top, Miller selection. Wish they would bring in some local craft selections with all the breweries located within Florida! Staff was all super friendly and very attentive and everyone genuinely seemed to be enjoying themselves in the bar area.

I've been visiting the WEC since the summer of 2022. The newly opened Equestrian Manor is lacking much of the charm and warmth of the main hotel. It feels different, and not in a good way. More corporate, colder, and disconnected from the ambience of the flagship building. While the staircase is impressive, the black carpeting on the stairs was in need of cleaning on the Thursday early afternoon in which I visited. Many hairs and random debris which were highly visible on the black background. The construction next store is a major detraction. I don't want to see it, hear it, or walk in it (very dusty). It takes away from what is supposed to be a luxury experience. That project has several months of work before completion. Do not believe otherwise. As far as The Polo Pony, the service was excellent. You'll get a server and at least one assistant. The ambience of the main dining room is lacking aside from the bar. There isn't near the charm or character of The Yellow Pony. I found the room to be too large as well. In regards to the food, their signature Polo Pony Fries disappointed. The fries themselves were not hot enough nor fried quite as long as they should have been. The duck confit was unremarkable and seasoned not to my liking. The mushroom gravy overpowered the dish and was too earthy. My guest had the Chicken and Waffles and couldn't have enjoyed them more. The construction next door is in full view just outside of all windows. There is a motion activated sliding glass door in the main dining room leading to the patio, which is an unfortunate design choice. It opened everytime a guest or staff walked near it, providing a burst of sunlight and a full view of th construction. I feel no need to revisit. I may try both rooftop restaurants after they've had a chance to get their bearings. Otherwise, I'll keep frequenting the Yellow Pony for lunch and Stirrups for brunch.
