Where does one go for a coffee date, while it is raining? Pier View Coffee Company. They provide both indoor and outdoor seating. The ambience is warm with dark wood furniture. The music playing in the background adds to the ambiance. The decor offers historical pictures of Oceanside Pier. Hence, the coffee shop is near the pier. Pier View Coffee offers window seating that provides plenty of natural light, great for reading 📖. When the weather is nice, these windows are open providing more of an open-air feel. I look forward to sipping another bold cup of coffee ☕ at Pier View Coffee Company.

Seriously, this place is a find! Killer coffee, insanely good donuts and bagels, and locally sourced food that always hits the spot. They have amazing specials, I highly recommend the the nutty Irishman latte! The vibe is pure cozy, perfect for chilling with friends or just enjoying some prime people-watching with inside and outside sidewalk tables. The nearby beach and Pier is a bonus! You'll be hooked – guaranteed.

This spot is ideal for kicking back with a coffee first thing in the morning or unwinding with some gelato after a beach day. I was particularly fond of their raspberry ice cream, and their coffee was brewed to perfection. They do also offer a lot of yummies pastries to enjoy on site or to go.

While visiting Oceanside, this was my favorite place to walk to and enjoy coffee every morning. I didn't try the food, but it always looked good. The coffee is great and good service! I enjoyed the calm atmosphere and opened windows. I miss it a lot!

Downtown Oceanside is full of coffee spots but I would say this is one of my favorites. My number two would be Campfire Coffee. Pier view has a great location with street parking both free and paid, with a very short walk to the pier and beach. The view from the coffee shop is great with lots of good people watching . Seating and decor inside works really well, with black and white photos of the original Oceanside. They have a good selection of bagels and breakfast pastries. But I come here for the iced coffee and Lattes. Both are exceptional and the price is right for the area. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Even when they’re packed we don’t wait too long for drinks. They also have gelato and beer/wine on happy hour. Cheers!

I have always wanted to go here when I lived in Oceanside but due to certain circumstances I never got to. Got to check this out while visiting shortly and found that it is a great little spot. Had a breakfast sandwhich and a smoothie. Both were fresh and tasty. Back when I live un town you could actually see the pier, buy things have changed with the booming of housing. Still, this is a great spot to go to.

Great coffee with seasonal drinks, breakfast sandwiches and pastries. This cafe has outdoor seating just a quick jaunt from the beautiful, scenic Oceanside pier. The spinach in their begal breakfast sandwich was plentiful and fresh, and the bacon was crispy. We'll be back soon!

It's kind of cramped when there's a group of ppl inside. You always feel in the way of somebody. However, it's a cozy spot with the kind of atmosphere you'd expect from a coffee place. I imagine it's a nice studying spot. Wish they had pics of their menu! It's always nice to know what you can expect to get from an establishment. It makes it somewhat difficult to make good, quick decisions about what you'd want when there's limited reviews or recommendations available from the place, so pictures would greatly help. We got coffee..but I can't say I really remember much about it, unfortunately. Not very notable to me, at least. I would like to try the smoothies one day, though. As for the pastries, they looked and tasted phenomenal. It was so hard to choose, but I'm happy with what I got. I'd like to come back to see more of their food options since the pastries were so nice.

Very tasty but very expensive 🥲 I definitely recommend it but if you’re traveling on a budget maybe not. Very cute area though! The outside seating area is dog friendly.

Coffee is above average, smoothies not so much. Lot's of seats. Not super clean. Dust and grime everywhere, especially if you look up—lights and plastic plants are filthy. Employee was okay although a little bit smarmy. So some good, some not so much.

My buddy and I are heading to every coffee place we can find in Oceanside this week. One shop each morning for 7 days. We came here for the coffee on vacation, and Pier View Coffee Co delivered. The classic latte was visually appealing and tasted great. The espresso is not very strong, some may love that, some may not. The location is great, the store was great, friendly atmosphere and employees. It’s pricey but very reasonable for coffee in Cali. 4 stars!

Came for a quick coffee and sandwich. The light roast house coffee of the day was good but it was room temperature warm. Pretty disappointed 😞 Sandwiches were simple and tasty. Perfect size for a quick bite.

Got an egg sandwich with meat. It was ok but not happy with deli Turkey for breakfast sandwich. They give you a number but the coffee is separate, you have to ask for it. I believe the coffee should be served with the food given that you were handed an order number. You don't have to ask or look for it. Other patrons had the same experience. Not a place I'd recommend.
