We had a great experience with all the staff when we went in for dinner on 7/5/25! The guy working the line was especially nice! I had to wait a bit for my chicken to cook and he personally brought it to our table when it was ready and gave me an approximate time for when it would be ready! Just going above and beyond :)

5-Star Review – Dickey’s Barbecue Pit, Perrysburg, OH I stopped in while visiting from Chicago and had a truly satisfying experience at this Dickey’s location. I ordered the children’s portion of pork ribs with a side of fried okra — not only do I prefer smaller servings, but I’ve found it helps keep me both mentally and physically balanced. The pork ribs were coated in their Nashville hot sauce, offering a compatible tang and a well-developed flavor. The meat was tender, generous on the bite, and had a satisfying lean chew that didn’t feel overly fatty. The fried okra side held its own all the way through — crispy, warm, and textured right to the last pod slice. While a soft bread roll came with the meal, I chose to savor every last bite of the okra instead. Shoutout to Cassandra H. at the register and the gentleman behind the counter — they made the visit feel warm and welcoming. Their teamwork, speed, and lighthearted interaction added to the experience. I even joked with him about being the guy in their in-house video prepping meats. (He wasn’t, but we both agreed he could be.) The location is conveniently nestled near several well-established hotels, making it an easy dinner spot for travelers. I’m grateful I wandered in. A wonderful, comforting meal with kind people — just the kind of pause I needed in the midst of travel. Absolutely a return visit when I'm next in the area. Thanks Guys!

Ended up here after Smokey Bones told my group they couldn't accommodate us for 2 hours at least. Walked in and got served right away! Staff were friendly, willing to answer any questions (I've never been here) and were so gracious with my group of 17. Amazing people and amazing food! It was hot and tasted like the best homecooked meal i ever had. They do cater so keep them in mind! You won't be disappointed!

Chuck and Lexi were amazing they were great with suggestions to help me with my keto diet. The portions were amazing, pulled pork almost melted in my mouth! This has to be one of the hidden jems in Perrysburg!!!!!

I had the brisket and ribs, both were very tender but I thought the brisket was over seasoned. Might just be my taste though. I’ll definitely try them again.

Ok at best. The service was not very good, the one employee was more concerned with being on their phone and talking to other employees than service. The place was basically clean but need something put way that were in the tables. Chairs were up on the tables making it look like the restaurant was closed. The food was fine but I have had better.

I am very disappointed in Dickeys. The day before they closed for the fire I had the most amazing brisket of my life, went back the next day and they were closed so I waited and waited for them to reopen (their facebook page posted like they were open the whole time but they were closed for months). The day after they reopened I got a slider and a brisket kids meal. The pulled pork slider and mac n cheese were good but the brisket was not-extremely dry and almost inedible. I went back today to give them another chance since I thought it may have been a fluke since they just reopened. Not a good experience. The three staff members working were just standing there looking very bored and depressed and I did not get one smile. I can look past that BUT the brisket was not good, again, and the pulled pork slider I received was half the size from last time and dry. Very disappointed after waiting so long for them to reopen, I thought they would have been more prepared and upped their game. Unfortunately I will not be back :(

Used to patron this location/brand. Tonight was the last night. The time before tonight (being the last straw), the service is just slow like they never have enough help and the help they do have they either get over whelmed or they just aren't trained properly. Tonight was no different in terms of slow / un-friendly service. Was waiting in line, 4 people ahead. OK, I"ll wait, it happens. Only 2 employees working (as usual). Apparently there is an issue with their credit cards.... still not sure what it is, but OK, I get it, I work in IT, stuff goes down. Meanwhile, 10+ minutes goes by, still no one is being checked out because of the payment issue so they start asking the 2 people already at the counter if they have cash or can order and pay through the app. Had I not been listening, or otherwise, unable to hear, I would not have known I was not going to be able to use my credit card to pay. By the time I got up to the counter, waited some more, they FINALLY acknowledged me as a customer (my invisibility spray must have worn off), they mumble something about my online order (which I had just placed)... I let them know, had I not overheard the issue and waited over 15 minutes just to be told their cashless system wasn't working, I would have been mad. They should have called out as soon as they realized "hey, we just found out our cashless system went down"... but they said NOTHING and in all sincerity, the looks on either of their faces shows they did not even care. Their aura they give off is that customers are in inconvenience to them. We're interrupting their day. Then they didn't have lids for cups and no condiment cups. I can also tell, from the sticky levers on their soda machine, they either do not clean it or do not do a good job with cleaning. So what else do they not clean/do a good job with cleaning? With so many other local places nearby why bother with sub-par service and food that isn't really even hot. F- and I will not be back.

If you order and pay online don't expect to get your order at the time you schedule it. I'm standing here 20 minutes after my pickup time and I'm being told to be patient because she has other customers. I'm the only one here.

Tried Dickeys bbq for the 1st and last time today. The driest most bland paste of a pulled pork I have ever experienced and the fries though tasted ok were the size you get in a happy meal. 2 combo meals + a side of green beans (absolutely rank) and a side of coleslaw. $32 and the only thing decent was the coleslaw.. Don't waste your money!

I went in for a pickup order the women working the register ignored me for over 20 minutes, my dad asked for the order from a guy and the lady still ignored me and then she’s gonna ask well am I Deanna like I haven’t been standing there over 20 minutes or we didn’t ask for the order, it was an uber. Then I tried to buy my daughter icecream and she was rude as if asking to do that was an inconvenience. If you don’t like working in customer service get a new job.

This was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I ordered food from Dickey’s and was served raw, undercooked meat that was completely inedible and unsafe to eat This is a serious food safety issue, not a minor mistake. I tried to call the store afterward to request a refund, and instead of helping, the situation got even worse. The employee I spoke with, Landon, was rude, dismissive, and refused to take responsibility. When I calmly asked for a refund for the raw food, I was threatened with them calling 911. That response was shocking, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate. Between being served raw food and then being treated this way, this location clearly does not care about customer safety or basic service. I wasted my money and my time, and I will never return. I strongly recommend others avoid this location.

My family & I were in on a Saturday night around 7pm & one couple was in front of us. We were all going to get the giant meat stuffed potato. My husband ordered one then my son tried to order a stuffed potato too. He was told they were out. No worries we can order something else. So he decided to order 2 meat plate of brisket & chicken. My turn I order the 2 meat plate as well, they tell me my son had the last of chicken. When we sat down all our food was cold as well & the brisket was really grizzly. On a positive note the employees (they had a good number of employees) really tried to help & were friendly. They all moved as quickly as possible. You could tell they were just as upset as we were that they even had to tell us that they were out of each item. As we ate the employees had at least 8 people in line & an employee was on the phone with Grub Hub orders, trying to explain that they were out of certain foods. We spent 74.00 on cold food that we really didn't want!!

Place is a joke ordered $30 worth of food, didn’t get half my order when I called the next day chuck the manager said there’s nothing that can be done. Management a joke will not recommend unless you want half your order and cold food! My family has owned a restaurant for 20+ years, when you mess up you make it right. Not dickies bbq pit of Perrysburg.
