We had a wonderful meal here with Marshall providing great service. Unfortunately the place was empty on a Friday night, but at the same time that afforded us a very intimate and quiet dinner. The steak was tender, flavorful, and flame grilled to perfection. The appetizer came out quickly and was hot and fresh. Marshall made sure to make a few adjustments and recommendations to accommodate a gluten allergy. Although there were no gluten free options for dessert, the meal was still fantastic, and the dessert list looked wonderful. The kitchen staff was receptive to the special dietary needs and ensured we had a great experience. This venue is beautiful outside. The interior is a bit odd, somewhat older and dark, but the great food and great service overshadow the aesthetics.
Appetizer - Calamari Meal -Bacon and Bleu Food was amazing. Slow night as a bonus, WE got to tour the castle and hear about it's history.
Recently, I had the pleasure of dining at Castle Falls for dinner, and it was an experience worth sharing. This charming restaurant offers a unique blend of history and culinary excellence. Note that Castle Falls is only open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. For our meal, we ordered steaks and crab cakes, and both were exceptional. The steaks were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The crab cakes were equally impressive. The service at Castle Falls was top-notch. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. The decor exudes a historical charm, and the atmosphere is both cozy and elegant. The small setting, with only nine tables, provides an intimate dining experience. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, with a pleasant noise level that allowed for easy conversation. Overall, our dinner at Castle Falls was a delightful experience. The excellent food, outstanding service, and charming ambiance made for a memorable evening. I would highly recommend Castle Falls to anyone looking for a great dining experience, especially for a special weekend outing.
We love trying new restaurants and especially enjoy the very unique ones like this gem! We did sit outside since that is always our preference and it was a perfect view. The scenery makes you feel so secluded and is very quaint. They cooked my steak exactly as I described, which rarely happens anywhere. This little castle was a perfect anniversary dinner spot! The inside looked as you would expect of an older castle style establishment. The staff were more than eager to make our visit comfortable and enjoyable. We will be return customers 😀
Celebrated my birthday with a dinner at Castle Falls. Service was exceptional and the food was delicious. Really enjoyed and Esgar the server did not rush our slow pace! We wanted to take our time and talk.
Attended the dark fantasy masquerade ball and it was AMAZING! Had the vip full dark experience so I was able to enjoy a lovely dinner with some truly delightful people.
Makes the perfect unique date night. It was quiet and service was amazing along with the food.
My boyfriend and I were invited to join my boyfriend's brother and wife for a "Paella on the Patio" dinner event and it was absolutely LOVELY! Very classy. It was held inside the Grand Hall instead of the patio because it was so hot. Champaign was served during social hour, followed by a 5 course meal, with each course perfectly paired with a Spanish wine. Chef David prepared the paella at the front of the hall, "Live", and gave us information about the ingredients. Details about each wine was given as it was presented. The servers were all wonderful and so nice. The atmosphere was romantic - it felt like we were transported to a European castle. The food and wine were excellent. The price was what was to be expected for this type of fine dining. Bottles of wine served during dinner, may be purchased too. The grounds are beautiful! There are a few different dining options in addition to the Grand Hall (for larger events). It is definitely worth checking out! Amy and Ralph Rollins (owners) are friendly, sweet, and fun to be around. I look forward to going back very soon!
Absolutely perfect. Just took my wife here for her birthday and can't say enough good things about the food, wine, service, and atmosphere. Marshall was simply phenomenal as our server and we highly recommend this restaurant. As for wine, the Tintero Moscato sweet white wine paired very well with the Chardonnay chicken and Ratatouille.
I have gone here a fair few times. It's so beautiful and unique. I love the castles story! The food is high quality and so delicious. I love to dress up and come dine with my boyfriend, friends, and my family. Perfect place for celebrations! The staff is amazing!
Incredible dining experience, wonderful staff, romantic ambiance, great menu, wide selections of world wide imported wines including some Italian, German, Australian, French, n even California vineyard wines etc. Not to forget the delicious food and beautiful presentations. Highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion to treat you and your significant other like true royalty. Only downside of this restaurant is the outdated interior. Needs some updates keeping with the castle theme jus with a fresher look.
This is what fine dinning was meant to be like. The staff was amazing! Catered to us at every turn. The food is fantastic as well. They have an excellent menu and they cook it all very very well. It's my favorite spot to get a fancy dinner in a quite beautiful restaurant. I think they make their own ranch dressing and it is amazing too. My favorite is always the stroganoff, but this time I went with the filet. It was also so good, and perfectly cooked med-rare with nice sear on the outside. It couldn't have been any better. I look forward to coming back here everytime.
This restaurant is a hidden jewel. We went to a dinner party and were seated in a private room with a banquet table that was beautifully set. The food was superb - every course well flavored and presented. The history behind the property is fascinating. I would definitely recommend Castle Falls for an intimate dinner or a private gathering! We plan to go back because there are so many nooks and crannies in the castle that we felt like we wanted to explore!
This place?!??🤌 no I mean my exact word leaving was REPLENISHED!! The food was amazing!!! The Tenderloin Bruschetta appetizer is a MUST! I have not had such beautifully cooked steak in so long! They get it right!! I love the scenery the whole asthetic of the place was classy and comfortable. I can’t wait to go again. And the customer service is top tier 👌
I used Castle Falls for my wedding, and it couldn't have gone more perfect. Amy made it so easy to plan and execute meetings and ideas. She made it a no stress day by not having to worry about the food and venue side of things. They have great packages with a variety of options, including food and drinks depending on what you want. We had a simple pasta menu and it was some of the best food we have ever had. Would definitely recommend Castle Falls for an event or even just dinner 10/10.
My husband made a reservation here for our anniversary. I absolutely loved this place. It was beautiful and the food was delicious. Our waiter even showed us the rest of the rooms to dine in. Such a beautiful place.
Amazing restaurant! We did the 5 course meal for our 3 year anniversary and every single course was wonderfully delicious. Our table was in a little room on its own inside the castle, which made it very intimate. HIGHLY recommend this hidden gem to anyone for a special occasion!
The grounds alone are a sight to see! Everything is made from salvaged materials from throughout Oklahoma. This little Oklahoma castle is over 500ft and has tons of private dining options. The woodwork throughout is intricate and original and much of the flooring and furniture came from the Skirvin. You HAVE to see this beautiful historic landmark in the heart of OKC. ❤️
Thanks to the limited seating, the experience is very intimate and quiet. Our waitress was very kind and helpful allowing us to enjoy our time. As one would expect, the menu is limited but there are multiple meat options to provide variety. The food was delicious and prepared very well.
This place is a hidden gem without question. With prices on par with other high-end offerings in the OKC area, if you’re looking for a quiet spot to celebrate, Castle Falls is it. The dining experience is fantastic, with friendly, accommodating staff and meals presented artfully. Pictured is the Filet Oscar which includes lobster in lieu of crab - and there’s a lot of it! Steak was of great quality and cooked perfectly as ordered. Wine list is complete but not overwhelming so pairing is easy. Get there - soon!
I like the food and old architecture here. The sauce on both chicken and salmon dishes are really good. The lights in the garden outside make it look magical and peaceful. I will consider this place for a celebration in the future.
My husband and I got married at Castle Falls on Halloween 2021- they were wonderful! Everything was amazing! They really helped us create our fairytale wedding!
Had a fantastic evening at Castle Falls. My wife and I went for our anniversary and had a great time. The service was great, atmosphere was perfect for the occasion. Had the swordfish with shrimp risotto and asparagus. Would highly recommend!!
Omg.. wonderful food. Great people. Chef is amazing. He himself came to the table to ensure our meal was perfect. Will go back for sure. Facility is absolutely stunning. Castle falls is an exponential. A really magical place. Would recommend this awesome place to everyone. The ribeye was mouthwatering along with the sides that were with it.
Amazing place!! We had the 5 course. You chose your entree and the chef chooses your appetizer salad soup and dessert! It's perfect for a romantic date night! Definitely going back here sooner than later!
Enjoyed a lovely five course meal this evening in this beautiful castle right here in Oklahoma City! The service was impeccable and the food did not disappoint! My husband had the filet, which melted in his mouth and I had the salmon. We topped it all off with a chocolate mousse. Castle Falls does not disappoint! We will return:)
Such a great experience! Food was absolutely amazing and thoughtfully served. Ambiance was very quaint and the service was impeccable! Highly recommended for any occasion! The salmon with lemon caper cream sauce and risotto was delicious and cooked perfectly!
As we drove into the parking lot, the view was that of a castle in the woods, reminiscent of those we’ve seen in Europe. The walk winds lightly through trees, vegetation, and garden statues. Upon opening the entry door we were greeted with warmth, low lighting, and warm wood accents much like the cozy interior of an authentic European restaurant. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu items, and was able to make wine pairing suggestions. We dined “a la carte” on the first floor. With classical music coming through the speakers and other patrons talking, tones were hushed and all parties respected each others personal experience. The second and third floor are reserved for their “Five Course” dining; with pricing for a couple, the cost is comparable to that of the “a la carte” when combined with wine selections. The food was expertly prepared as ordered. Combinations of foods and sauces, as described in menus, provided a very tasty medley of flavors. Dress code is business casual, and we believe it to be an appropriate apparel discrimination that enhances the experience. Reservations are highly recommended due to volume.
Absolutely love this place, only open 3 days, but worth it. We went there on valentines day, had a 5 course meal, awesome! The staff goes over and above to make sure you are accommodated!
Took my wife here for our anniversary, and we had a great time. There were no other reservations that night, but since the chef had a wedding going on next door, he stayed open for us. We literally had the restaurant to ourselves. Chef Matthew was amazing, along with everything he prepared. The lobster tail and ribeye were amazing. The cauliflower and chicken dip was so good. The place was previously a home bugging built in 1945. It was modeled after a castle in France. Chef Matthew not only was our chef that night, he was our tour guide as well. Haha. I recommended this place to anyone looking for a nice romantic date night dinner.
One of Oklahoma City's best kept secrets! The food is always perfection. We love coming here for romantic, historical escapes.
You do have take reservations, and the food is expensive, but we'll worth the price. All of the food, starting from appetizers all the way down to the dessert was so delicious! Thier menus do change. This was our 3rd time going for our anniversary. I've never been disappointed. It's a great place for a date, or special occasion with your significant other.
Wonderful Venue for a wedding! Incredible place as a restaurant. Food is always delicious and staff takes care of the details. Great for an intimate dinner with your loved one or also a large group.
The experience was very relaxing. We celebrated our anniversary. The staff were very nice and food was excellent. We enjoyed the time to talk and enjoy each other’s company. We will be back.
My wife and I went here for our 5th Anniversary dinner. We absolutely loved it!! It was an intimate candlelit dinning experience with phenomenal food and superb service. Every bit worth the price. Highly recommend for any special night out.
Our waiter was absolutely amazing. The service, the experience, the atmosphere everything was just impeccable. I had the filet and lobster and it was cooked and prepared better than anything I've ever had. Thank you so much for the experience, will definitely be back.
A wonderful, versatile venue. Polite, professional staff. Excellent catering kitchen...the roast beef with veal demi was absolutely delicious, and the mushroom smothered chicken was perfectly paired with roasted garlic mashed potatoes. Would recommend for any medium sized (30 to 50) catered event.
Had an amazing experience at a wedding here. Food and staff were top notch. Venue and reception area are gorgeous. 10/10 best hidden gems here in oklahoma.
Our son’s wedding was perfect! Absolutely a dream. Michelle and staff were extremely skilled, professional and friendly. They made the whole event just wonderful. The dinner was delicious and the bar service was super. We could not have had a better experience. Thank you everyone at Castle Falls!
My husband took me here as a birthday-anniversary-valentine’s dinner and we had a blast. We walked into a waiting area where we were treated to a complimentary glass of champagne and a beautiful round table with candles and low lighting. We sat for about 15-20min until our table was ready, where we were walked to the castle and brought to the top floor to enjoy our intimate dinner. We were served tomato bruschetta, lobster bisque, a salad with raspberry vinaigrette, 6oz filet with mashed potatoes and cold water lobster tail, and a 3-layer chocolate mousse with caramel sauce and candied walnuts. We’d never done course meals before and figured the portions would be small, but by the end of the night we hadn’t even finished our entrees because we were so full. I cannot for the life of me remember our server’s name, but she was wonderful and really broke the ice for us during this experience. She recommended a glass of some of the best wine we’d ever had and was very attentive to us during our meal. I believe her name started with an M but I’m not too sure. Overall, such a great experience and I would definitely go back!
Lovely special occasion place to have dinner. Food was tasty and atmosphere was intimate and romantic.
We had the five-course meal and it was outstanding from start to finish. After dinner, Esgar kindly gave us a tour, which was such a thoughtful and personal touch. He was professional, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the evening without ever hovering. The pacing of the courses was excellent and the entire experience felt elevated and intentional. A truly memorable night.
Fantastic! Steak melted in your mouth. Lobster bisque was delicious! Waiter was great! Just a superb dinner with my wonderful man!
My recent birthday dinner at The Castle was wonderful! There were five of us, and we had a semi-private area to ourselves, which made the evening feel extra special. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent – attentive without being intrusive. On top of that, the building itself is super cool and really added to the ambiance. We all had a fantastic time and loved every minute of it! Highly recommend for a special occasion or just a great meal out.
I took my now fiancé here and proposed. The food was amazing. Perfectly seasoned. It is a bit more on the pricier side but the quality is well worth it. The customer service was even better! Marshall really helped things run smoothly, including getting my fiancé‘s sister situated to take photos of the proposal which included giving her a heads up when we were coming and getting her dinner order so she wasn’t hungry while she waited outside. The property is beautiful. The food is amazing. And the staff is exemplary. Would 100% recommend.
Definitely one of the best steak dinners I've had in a loooong time. I would MOST DEFINITELY recommend this place
It was beautiful! I’ve drove by 100x and had no idea it was right there. It was very pricing but the staff was Friendly and professional. The food was delicious. The food was timed perfectly and fresh. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is because another guest was in there got mad at me and my date for talking to loud.. they put 2 dates in 1 private dining area. I would recommend anyone to go for a date or special night.
Very beautiful and peaceful outside , the main restaurant is very small and cramped. Disappointed part was the plate was so drowned in a thick gravy it was like a soup not much else on the plate . The restaurant has an old weird smell , they burn candles but when you walk in you can smell it and really bad by the kitchen area . Not totally bad but too much .
My boyfriend and I had long-heard how fantastic Castle Falls was supposed to be. That it was extremely romantic and a necessary night-out for those who live in the OKC Metro. Unfortunately, all these expectations far exceeded our actual experience. My boyfriend made a surprise reservation for my birthday (Jan 15th) and we headed there in the freezing rain, hoping to make the most of the occasion. Walking up, it looked like it was straight from the pages of a fairytale book. Inside, we were led to a table in the corner. We were seated in what we found out was the downstairs section called The Cellar. Though I was trying not to be judgmental of something my boyfriend had put so much effort into, as we looked around, we felt very underwhelmed. The decor was outdated and had the feel of a 2010’s home in Edmond. But we were determined that we wouldn’t let that hold us back. Excitedly, we ordered wine and an appetizer. We got the bruschetta with bleu cheese and salads. The taste of it was different from normal tomato-based bruschetta, but good nonetheless. The salad was delicious. Initially, what appeared to be the more experienced waitress assisted the new waiter that was assigned to our table. She disappeared shortly after. This left us having to ask for things like bread that were supposed to be included with our meal (though the bread we finally got was just a disappointing loaf). Then out came our entrees. My boyfriend ordered a pasta dish and so did I. I chose the lobster linguini at the suggestion of the waiter and because I wanted to truly treat myself. I was salivating as the waiter brought us our dishes and sat them down on the table in front of us. Then, I took the first bite. This pasta and sauce was one of the most bitter dishes I had ever tasted in my life. I have eaten at restaurants in scattered cities across the US, have sampled a variety of cuisine, but I simply could not get past the overwhelmingly bitter flavor. I kept taking bites, trying to like it, but couldn’t fake my enjoyment. I didn’t want to upset my boyfriend or be difficult. He tried it and had the same opinion. Maybe it was the asparagus? Maybe it was the lack of cream. Ultimately, he suggested that since it was my birthday we should see if there was something else they could make for us or if we could just share his pasta. Little did we know what a ruckus this would cause. The waiter was happy to take it back to the kitchen to bring out on two plates. Then the chef came to our table. “I’ve never had anyone have an issue with my lobster linguine. I’m surprised you didn’t like it.” He spoke to us in a gruff tone, towering over our table. Never had I been spoken to by someone representing a restaurant in this manner. Dishes get sent back everyday, though this was the first time I was ever doing it. I didn’t even really want to send it back, I was just so unhappy that we felt we should do something. I was mortified. Here I was at my birthday dinner, embarrassed already that I had to send back a dish, being scolded over a difference of taste. They left us to eat the pasta they had divided into two plates for us. I sheepishly spooned the pasta into my mouth. Our celebration had certainly turned sour and the hostility of the chef made us feel uncomfortable. We could hear them talking in the other room as we finished it. The kitchen offered us cake but failed to bring it to the table before or after we paid. The waiters dismantled the tables around us. We waited. Finally, we decided to leave. Both of us deeply upset. On principle, my boyfriend asked for the cake as we left. “Oh, you’re gonna love this!” The chef said, grabbing the container from just behind the wall. The waitress who had been assisting with our table said she had forgotten to bring it out. To us, it seemed like the chef had always known where it was. We took the container of chocolate cake home. There, it sat in our fridge until we threw it out. We were both wary of eating anything this unprofessional chef had to offer. Take your special moments anywhere else.
Not nearly as nice as the pictures and website would have you believe. It was dilapidated inside. The window we sat next to was grimy and covered in dust. They were out of the appetizer we wanted and the beer my partner tried to order. When we asked what the soup of the day was, they told us they "didn't make one." Not that they ran out. They just didn't bother to make it. This was a Saturday. I can't imagine what it's like on a slow day. Our server was seemed annoyed at us through the whole dinner, and when we asked multiple times for him to take our appetizer/salad plates so we would have room at our very small table he ignored us. 2 stars for how great everything tasted, but it is not worth the exorbitant price they charge. The food is absolutely delicious, but they need to think about the rest of the experience as well if they're going to ask you to pay $380 for a meal for two.
