First, I would like to say Thank You to Ashley for an amazing dinning experience and your wine suggestion (Fidelity: Red Zinfidel) went perfectly with my meal. I came here to celebrate something very special and important to me and you made the experience perfect. Truly, thank you. I had the Ribeye (cooked perfectly) with a side of Sea Scallops (also cooked perfectly). I'd also like to mention the pesto spread for the bread is outstanding- so good. For dessert, I had the Opera Cake - and wonderful ending to an amazing meal. I hope to return to celebrate more special occasions.
I rarely (pun intended) leave reviews but this place was a pleasant surprise and so I felt compelled. We stayed at the Rosen Plaza and looked for places off the property to eat. After being around so many people for the past few days we decided to just stay here and eat and not leave the property. This place truly exceeded our expectations. It was super chill atmosphere (compared to the insane chain and theme places like Disney or other steak chains) and our steaks were perfectly cooked, loved the seasoning, and very tender - I know steaks and this tasted aged or prime or both (I always cook my own prime at home) - super impressed. Our waitress Amal was fabulous - she recommended the Napa Chappellet which was perfect. The accompanying veggies like the potato gratin, broccolini and an actual carved carrot (not the out of the bag finger carrots) were NOT an afterthought but instead very tasty and seasoned perfectly. If you are staying here please don’t hesitate to eat here - skip the even more expensive places nearby and hit this. You wont regret it IMO.
Delicious food, service was great too. Had a guy doing caricatures of you to take home which added to the atmosphere and theming of this place. Highly recommend!
Ate here during Magical Dining. Great experience, great service, great food. We all had steak, crab meat salad and chocolate cake but I chose the key lime. Yum!
I just had the best steak ,I ever had ,at Jack's Place! Like: worldwide! Just wow! We didn't expect anything, cause of the magic dining menu. Sometimes the restaurants give you a smaller portion of the food , or they think you are " just tourists" and give you not the beste quality ( that's how I explain it to myself, why the food is sometimes really shitty and the portions are small? Idk) But at Jack's place everything was freaking perfect! The steak ! Omg! Never had a better one ( well, except when I made it , of course ! Lol) . Warm , delicious bread with butter and pesto ( it was pesto, right ? That green stuff ? Amazing!!!) . We had two different salads, one with crab meat . I actually don't like that, but I tried it anyway - next time I will order it for myself too, cause it was delicious! Not fishi at all. As main course we ordered 2 times the steak. It comes with potato gratain, Brokkoli and a carrot ( yeah, a single one . But a huge one .) no idea what the chef did to that veggies, but ( I know , boring vegetables, but those were sooooo good! The veggies were freaking amazing! So flavourful! We finished almost everything, except a bit of the salad and the bread. But the waiter ( I am so sorry buddy, I am terrible to remember names ) was so nice to give us boxes, so we packed the leftovers and had a lil lunch for the next day. He was so nice l, sweet and considerate. The service was wicked fast ( what I love! I hate it , when we have to wait super long for everything. We finished the whole meal in one hour something. 😊) We asked for the desert to go. We had the famous key lime pie ( the menu says it is famous...meh! ) Not a big fan of that famous key lime pie. And we had a chocolate mouse cake - ohhhh yeah! That one made me happy ! Looks like we found our new Steakhouse. We will definitely come back, right after the magic dining deal. Cause we need to discover more nice places like this one .
We absolutely loved our experience! We chose to celebrate Father’s Day here for dinner… we were treated to amazing service from Alberto! He was so attentive, informative, polite, and professional! We started with cocktails, salads, and soup, both which were delightful. Our entrees were brought out in a timely and manner and can’t rave about them enough. We ordered prime rib- cooked to perfection of asking- medium rare, sea bass with a side of lobster- favorite that ever person at our table wish they had ordered, and crab cakes with mash potatoes. We ended our meal with cheesecake (mistakenly brought to us, but happily obliged) and it was so good! It tasted fresh with real cream cheese. And the macaroon was delicious as well. The only minimal con was the crab cake didn’t have much flavor and was rather fishy- but all other aspects from the moment we sat down to leaving, were absolutely perfect! Valet is $30 - even if you’re only eating dinner- we didn’t know this, so Sheri g so others are informed!
Only our second time dining at Jack’s… been meaning to come back for a while., well in all honesty was well worth waiting for but we waited too long to come back! Server Assim was absolutely awesome., This is a treasure hidden in plain sight! Do yourself a favor and try it for yourself. The lamb was perfectly cooked with a light crunch towards the edges. Very well flavored. The pork tomahawk is on a different level., can definitely compete with a steak tomahawk..,
Delicious food and complimentary caricatures on the weekend. My boss and I quite enjoyed the talented fun added to the diner. Not invasive at all - Kristian just took photos, went back to his desk, sketched, and came back to us.
Great experience. Easy to park. Hung out at the bar and Manny made me a Peartini with touch of champagne. We checked in with the nicest hostess that handled the crowd seamlessly. The mood in the restaurant is romantic and very pleasant. Angelo was our amazing waiter. He brought over warm bread, butter and basil spread. We started off with the Tuna and French Onion Soup. The best I have ever tasted. Balanced and rich with the tastiest cheese. The Tuna was fresh and was accompanied with a delicate sauce. Our main course was the Chilean Sea Bass sat in a delicious white sauce served wth veggies and this amazing scalloped potatoe cup. It was plentiful. The food rollercoaster continued with the Key Lime Pie and Chocolate Torte. Omg, that first bite was silky, rich, smooth and oh so memorable. I felt like I was biting into a piece of European Chocolate. It was not too sweet, yet we still couldn't finish it. Fine dining that can be casual as well. I highly recommend Jack's Place for a special treat. Can't wait to go back.

In town for a conference ordered the filet with lobster tail, everything cooked to perfection and presented beautifully! Loved that it was in the same place as my hotel, will plan on dinning again.

Amazing experience all around! From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding. Paula, my server, immediately set the tone with her warm, attentive, and professional service. The manager Stephanie and supervisor Alvin were also incredible—both were so kind, welcoming, and genuinely made sure everything was perfect. The food was just as impressive. My steak was cooked phenomenally, the potatoes were delicious, and whatever is in their pesto sauce needs to be bottled because I would absolutely take it home 😂 Overall, this was a five-star experience with top-tier service and amazing food. I’ll definitely be back and will make sure to ask for Paula again—her service and wine knowledge are truly exceptional!
Jack's Place at the Rosen Plaza Hotel is my husband and my "go to" high end restaurant for special occasions. We have never been disappointed in the food, the service, and the ambiance. We were there February 15th for a day after Valentine's Day dinner and once again we were treated to a wonderful dinner experience. Yasir, our server was attentive, professional, and accommodating to our needs. He was excellent throughout our meal in returning to ensure that we had everything we desired. Thank you Jack's Place, and thank you Yasir!
A great highlight is an artist will do a charicatur of you. We liked it and left him a nice tip. The service was super, attentive and knowledgeable. Meatball starter was flavorful and good texture. The czar salad, fresh and dressed nicely. The ribeye, very high quality, tender, well seasoned and perfect mid-rare as we asked. Good portion for two people . The only negative was presentation: the steak was totally covering the beautiful au gratin potatoes as well as the perfectly done broccolini, carrots and squash. The old fashioned was perfect. The Einstein cocktail was delicious but was in an ordinary tall water glass? It did have a dried grapefruit on as garnish. I would definitely eat here again!
We went to Jacks for New Year's Eve. The food was delicious,I ordered the Surf and Turf and my steak came out as requested also everyone at the table enjoyed their meals. awesome service from the hostess that greeted us when we arrived to our waiter. I would highly recommend Jacks place, looking forward to returning...thank you

Meant for the Bite 30 menu. Decent choices and a great price. Plenty of food. Bread basket brought out was an unexpected touch. Scallops ordered didn’t taste right. They were swiftly swapped out by Amal our waitress(top notch service). The Gumbo ended up being a delight. The main course of Red snapper over rice was excellent except my thinner piece was overcooked. I did not want to complain again as it still tasted great. The vegetable side was just as delicious. Desserts of mouse and the bread pudding was a perfect way to top off the meal.
This restaurant is located inside the Rosen plaza, it is nice, the food was good. The service was a little lackluster, you could hear the constant shuffle of waiters not being able to pick up silverware off tables correctly or talking amongst themselves. We went for magical dining, all the courses of the meal were great and delicious. The atmosphere of the inside of the restaurant is lovely, your classic American Steakhouse lots of dark tones and leather. The lobby of the hotel itself is very outdated and very cold and stale. There is self-parking which is $22 I believe you get a discount down to $15 if you eat inside the restaurant and get validated. Our validation tickets didn't work and the restaurant was closed when we went back in, but they were nice enough to let us out for free.
3.5 stars The beef was good—I ordered it medium-well, and it was cooked just right. However, I found the sides to be a bit bland for my taste. In comparison, another dish I tried had much more flavor and character. The desserts were definitely a highlight, especially the cheesecake, which was absolutely delicious. You can tell it’s made with real lemon because the flavor is intense and natural, giving it a refreshing touch. I liked the restaurant’s décor; it has a nice, well-thought-out ambiance. Would I come back? The dishes were good, but nothing really amazed me. Just my humble opinion.
This restaurant is very nice and has an elegant setting. It's adorned with cartoon artist pictures, the booths are cozy, intimate and cozy with high backs for privacy. The service was good and so was the food for the most part. They had a 3 course special which was a spectacular offer however my plate, the chicken was extremely dry, never have I experienced anything like it, it dried out my mouth worse than say a dry thanksgiving stuffing. Nevertheless management was very compassionate and accommodating to the fact and took care of it, even though that wasn't my intent to but it showed professionalism. Overall it was a good experience and I would visit again.
Great customer service. I loved that they had caricature artists outside of the restaurant at the bar who can draw you with just a photo of you! That was a nice surprise! I enjoyed my food and my husband overall enjoyed his. However I think our favorite parts were the dessert, our drawing and our drinks. Very beautiful set up inside and interesting origin story for the restaurant itself. Definitely recommend.

Very nice resturants. - The ambiance was really nice. - The service was good. For the food: - The Cesar Salad was average. - The French Onion soup was good. - The Filet Mignon was delicious and really delicious. I recommend that you give this restaurant a try.
My wife and I were looking forward to our date night at Jack's after hearing rave reviews about it. I opted for the Filet, while my wife went for the Pork Chop. The food itself was exquisite - each dish was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. However, the drinks we ordered from the bar were a letdown. The service was also lackluster; our server seemed overwhelmed and unfriendly despite the restaurant not being very busy. To add to the unusual experience, some patrons were dressed in bathing suits, which felt out of place at a place like Jack's. It turned out that the hotel was hosting a comic con convention, which was unexpected and contributed to the odd atmosphere. Overall, our experience at Jack's left us feeling disappointed. I'd rate it as a 2 out of 5 stars.

The burger was pretty decent, but do not waste your time on the crème brûlée unless you want to blow $14 on 1/8 inch of custard. I thought I was having a hard time cracking through the brûlée but It was actually the bottom of the dish. The whole dish was like scraping the bottom of the bowl. Nothing creamy left to contrast the crunch. Thoroughly disappointing. Killed the finish of the meal. I can’t believe the server recommended this when I was torn between two options. I expressed disappointment and got, “oh I guess I should’ve warned you about that”.
