We had a dinner party of 9. We had appetizers of different soups, spring rolls and Rangoon something...each was tasty. We all had different dishes and we were all pleased. Service was pleasant. Atmosphere was quiet and modestly elegant. I am not particularly a fan of Chinese cuisine, but this restaurant has changed my feelings.
I don’t typically write reviews, but I wanted to make sure I gave this place five stars. First time there (to go) and it was the best Chicken Pad Thai I’ve had since moving to Central Florida. Tom Yum soup was really great too.
Went to Dragon City about a month ago for the first time. I love Chinese curry and theirs was the best I have tasted. I went today for lunch, and again the food was excellent. Would highly recommend Dragon City to anyone. Excellent food, the staff are very helpful and friendly, and the restaurant is nice and clean.
After 10 years in the area I started to think that decent Thai food does not exist in Orlando. It always feels like they cook something they do not like. And most Thai restaurants are not cheap either for some reason. So Dragon City was amazing surprise. It is Chinese and Thai restaurant. Pretty inexpensive. And the food is just flavourful and delicious. The chief knows what he is doing. Every dish screams flavor. Duck cooked perfectly: the skin is crispy and the meat is tender and moist. Popular soups like hot and sour anf tom yum are to die for. The service is very friendly and fast.
I love this place. They will always make accommodations for me. I love their vegan options. I've really enjoyed every dish I've had. The staff is so friendly and prompt.
My favorite restaurant for Chinese cuisine. The egg drop or Wonton is superb, chicken garlic is to die for. Always fresh always tasty, take out always on time and always fresh. The personnel are courteous and friendly. Convenient location. Try the chicken wings unique taste, and another favorite of our family What more would you want? Been coming here for many years never once disappointed.
This restaurant is one of the best I've been in 15 years as far as Chinese food goes. Atmosphere is extremely clean, Service was excellent and of course Taste of all the dishes, soups and appetizers were Delicious... by far best hidden Secret. I Guarantee You'll Love it. Prices are very Fair nothing over 14.50 and thats the most expensive meal. Prices range $6 to $ 10 meals ... your buddy Paza.
Dragon City is wonderful, but even more delicious now since they’ve added Thai cuisine! I’m not a huge curry lover, until now! Wow their signature panang curry is out of this world!! and their Thai soups are phenomenal! Their homemade duck sauce is awesome!! The people here are the most kind too!! I’d give 10 stars if I could, Dragon City is the BEST!!!
My favorite restaurant! The service is always amazing and the food is great. The dinner combination plate is the best. You get soup, egg roll (the greatest egg roll), choice of meat and rice. I definitely recommend
What an amazing surprise! My husband and I decided to try out different lunch specials, and wow, we were blown away! The food was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor. Each dish had just the right portion size—nothing left on the plate! We can’t wait to return for another fantastic meal!
Ordered the chicken Pad Thai! We Loved it! Thank you so much! I highly recommend it. 😋
Seriously delicious Thai and Chinese! Staff is friendly, service is quick. They are busy because the food brings people back so sometimes it's a longer wait, always worth it.
LOVE! The food is very tasty, portions are great, prices are very reasonable. Always receive great customer service whether we dine in or do take out. One of our favorites for sure.
We travel over 30 minutes to eat at this awesome restaurant! Now that they added Thai food, we go even more. You always get a lot of awesome food, served nice and hot. Everything has been awesome so far and the staff is outstanding!!! Never disappointed, always satisfied. Oh, and when you ask for Asian hot - that's what you get :)
Greatly enjoyed the newly added Thai menu. I tried the Satay Chicken (5 skewers) as an appetizer, Yum! My Panang Duck was crispy and very tasty. I ordered it American hot; next time I will try Thai hot. The owners have over 20 years cooking Thai, but they have also retained the prior Chinese menu. Definitely will be back soon.
Quiet restaurant with very good Chinese food (and now Thai too). I love their chicken and broccoli but it’s not like other places so I do have to ask for no mushrooms and to make it in brown sauce instead of white. Good egg rolls and fried rice. Dine in restaurant and take out. Decent prices.
Fantastic Thai/Chinese food in the heart of Oviedo. The locale is clean and well decorated. The ambience is welcoming and calm. The food is exquisitely prepared and the service is unmatched. One definitely gets the money worth at Dragon City.
Thai Dishes Review: Ordered here for lunch to try out their new Thai dishes. The Drunken Noodles was super yummy, plenty of protein, veggies, and noodles! Their Panang Curry was absolutely delicious, the blend of flavors are just so unique and well executed by the chef. Both lunches were perfectly portioned and didn't leave us hungry. Also, for my heat lovers, their Thai Hot spiciness level doesn't disappoint! 🔥🔥🔥
We really like Dragon City and I do especially since they now have Thai dishes. I love the Pad Thai with chicken or beef spiced to Asian heat. So good. I like that they serve fried noodles before the meal. And ample portions. I should take half home but just so good
I ordered take out here and the food was hot and ready upon arrival. I ordered pork dumplings and General Tao's Chicken. The chicken tasted like baked chicken, not fried and the pork dumplings had more of a breakfast sausage kinda taste, but I really liked it. The inside was clean and tidy. The customer service was very pleasent and helpful. They asked me if it was my first time dining there, it was, so they gave me a card and a menu. They asked if I needed chop sticks and extra sauces. Their bathroom was super clean and their dine in tables looks amazing but since it is covid, I did not have the chance to eat in. Can't wait to order again.
The restaurant itself smells of moth balls but the service is friendly and the food is tasty. This is also a sit down establishment. It doesn't taste like typical American style Chinese take-out; Much fresher in my opinion. They have plenty of lunch special options 7 days a week (11a-3p) starting at $6.50. I opted for chicken & broccoli. This item was different than expected but very tasty and after adding soy sauce it visually mimicked what I was used to. The lunch options include an egg roll AND a healthy portion of soup (egg drop or wonton), which is definitely my favorite part of the experience. This was my first time although I've lived close by for a few years. I'll definitely be back.
Okay I have had a lot of Thai food in my life. Pad see ew Is one of my favorite foods and the last place that tasted this good was years ago when I lived in Dublin California I have tried 50 places since then and nowhere has matched up. The portion is huge if I had a bigger stomach I would finish it all right now and I don't usually save leftovers but I'm definitely saving this.
Very good Thia food. Chicken was a little tough. Had a consistency like steak. Still good though. Very nice atmosphere.
Ordered chicken pad thai lunch special with wide noodles, and my boyfriend ordered the sesame chicken lunch special (not pictured). We also both got thai iced teas and they were delicious! We both loved what we ordered and had leftovers for dinner. Will be back!
Drove from deltona to get this, authentic nyc style brown fried rice. I opened my order as soon as I got in my truck and regretted not ordering another rice for home !

Food is better than the restaurant looks. Their hours of operation are wrong. They’re closed on Tuesdays. They should update their Google profile. We take the time to care about your business.
Food was very good, nice vegetarian options. Not greasy.
Little on the pricey side but great selection of good and always delicious and hot.
Love to get takeout from here because some of us want Chinese, and some like Thai! Great options for both. We have dined in a few times and sadly each time it is just not a great vibe inside - maybe it's the lighting or lack of customers. We will continue with takeout!
This place is a family jam! We are regulars. Take out or dine in is always excellent. My fav is the drunken noodles. My wife likes the chicken with mixed vegetables. However the real gem, IMO, is the bean curd. The tofu is perhaps the best I’ve ever had!

Ordered the chicken Pad Thai! We Loved it! Thank you so much! I highly recommend it. 😋
The variety here is great. My youngest daughter likes the shrimp fried rice and it's really good. Our only complaint is that most of the shrimp is usually at the top of the carton and there are usually none in the leftovers. Remember to mix it up and you'll be fine.
This has always been a good place to eat on the Winter Springs/Oviedo line near Oviedo High School in the Publix plaza. New ownership has added Thai food to the menu. Still the same good quality with very reasonable pricing. As under the long time previous owners, this is not a fast food Chinese restaurant with a long list of lunch and dinner specials at super low fast food prices but there are plenty of places if that's what you want. Lunch specials hover around $10 or more depending on the meat. I noticed recently that there are some takeout limitations on the weekend but that's not unusual for the fare. In today's visit I got takeout, which like in the past seems to be the majority of business yet the dining room remains unchanged, seemingly clean, and the staff is cordial without going overboard. My lunch order was ready in 15 minutes or less around 12:30. Maybe not deserving of higher ratings yet Dragon City should be patronized so it doesn't deserve lower "scores" either! The egg rolls tell a lot about a Chinese restaurant. Dragon City's are good and you can request "fresh mustard" for takeout. Does any Chinese restaurant make large thick egg rolls anymore though???
I had the cashew chicken dinner. Eggroll and Wonton soup was delicious. The cashew chicken was a tiny salty but good. Partner had pepper steak. He said good but a bit salty also. Chalking it up the the brown sauce as both dishes had that
I always get fried rice and egg drop soup here, and sometimes sweet and sour chicken or general tso's. It has always been delicious, never bad. The take out service is quick and they're always friendly over the phone. The building is in a hot spot of oviedo, so it's very convenient. I love it here!!
Definitely gone down hill since the change in ownership! Used to be our favorite Chinese food place! Not anymore 😞 can't dine in due to the overwhelming smell of something burning in the restaurant.
UPDATE So I went back after some time has passed. My phone order was sitting on the counter when I arrived. I won't comment on the wait that happened because no one looked at the order sitting there when I gave my name. Unfortunately, however, I did notice once I got home, that the size of the container is now significantly smaller than before. Basically in order to get the same amount that I used to get, I'd have to get 2 orders instead of one. My favorite restaurant is now my second or third choice. I'd read about this place many times in various review groups. I was Hesitant to try it after being so disappointed previously at other restaurants. I have been missing out ! Everything I've tried was delicious 😋 It's bright and cheery inside and the service is awesome. This is closest I've come to the taste of Chicago China Town food that I've had since moving here. And they also have a Thai menu ! It's absolutely great. 2 thumbs up 😁
This is more about the take out service than the food. I am guessing it’s unintentional, but the 2 workers who were running between the kitchen and desk made sure to serve at least 5 men who were there for their orders before even acknowledging the 2 women who were waiting. Even those men who came in much later than I were served first. Perhaps it’s cultural bias but they should probably develop a way to acknowledge people in chronological order. Workers never even made eye contact with me until after all the men had checked in. I brought it to the attention of the young man at the desk because it’s important to call attention to subtle or unintentional biases in order to give people a chance to notice and make adjustments. I hope they will in the future.
Went today for lunch. Quite a few dirty tables, waited about 10 minutes for them to clean a table for us to sit at. Took about another 10 minutes to bring us our drinks. I ordered the duck and they brought me pork with vegetables and panang sauce. Ate it anyway but won't be back.

Honestly disappointed, they told us 45 minutes for a take out order so we got here in 50 minutes to give them extra time . We arrived at 7 and have now waited 45 additional minutes for the food to be brought out to us .
I ordered the chicken and broccoli and the portions were very small for what they give you. They also gave me way more broccoli than chicken in a watery sauce. The chicken wings were good but the rice had a burnt taste that was very faint but burnt nonetheless. It tasted almost like an old cooking grease or something. The one thing I can say was that the customer service was great which plays a big part in whether a company gets my money or not. This was the reason why I gave the rating 2 stars other than . Either way you guys gotta do a little better with your food
Good reviews lead us here but we were disappointed. We understand that Chinese take-out is typically no frills and we aren’t picky but the food here was a big let down. For the price you pay, you get much less than any other takeout place. I’ve never received such a small portion of chicken from takeout- don’t plan on leftovers. Maybe if the chicken was higher quality then the portion wouldn’t be so bad but it was some of the most bland Chinese chicken we have had. The Fried Rice was also very bland. The People seem friendly but the food is just “okay.” And it’s on the more pricey side for takeout. We will be going back to our normal Oviedo take out places.
I am at this restaurant now. Ordered the shrimp and cashew and Thai chicken curry. Anyone who has posted good reviews for this restaurant either works here or has not had good Chinese/Thai food. The fried rice was loaded with soy soy, and the chicken curry was watered-down with very little flavor. I've had better at my local takeout.
Shrimp Lo Mein was actually Shrimp and spaghetti. Flavor good, texture terrible. 10 to 12 baby shrimp conveniently placed on top. Generals Chicken was ok at best. Sauce good, small chicken portion. Meat was either over cooked or lunch leftover. 2 stars is a gift.

First time at this restaurant and this would be the last time too! Ordered 3 dishes and none of them taste freshly made! Reheated or frozen not sure, unexpected from a restaurant! Other Carry out Chinese serves better tasting and "fresh" food for much lower prices! Will not visit again or recommend!
Ordered 2 sweet and sour chicken and a general tsos chicken. Both were tasteless and way too small for a takeout joint especially st these prices. Chicken was crispy but tasted old. Little flavor in both sweet and sour and general tsos. Vegetables were undercooked. Called in order and was told 20 minutes. Took 45 for my order to come out. Portions were super tiny for the price. Will go back to my other Chinese takeout place on Lockwood.
The food was tasteless. Many people recommended this place on Facebook. I highly regret going. The crab rangoons were cream cheese only, no crab meat. The orange chicken and general tso’s were bland and very watery.
If I could give zero stars I would. I placed a to go order for my family and once I walked in my home 15 minutes later I got a call from the restaurant that they had given me the wrong order. I drove the 15 minutes back to the restaurant just to be asked to pay $8 more for the bill difference, they took the incorrect order back, and gave me my bag of food which had clearly been sitting out now for almost 45 minutes. I understand paying the bill difference but to not even make our order fresh again or give us the food that was given to us by mistake as compensation? I will not be retuning.
The problem here is mystery meat. We could not identify the meat we were presented. I ordered pork that looked and tasted like chicken, my husband ordered chicken that was brown and didnt looked like chicken or pork...yet the staff was adamant the orders were right. It's hard to eat what you can't identify, so we boxed it and took it home to the dog. He enjoyed it.
My husband and I are visiting family in Oviedo and wanted Chinese food for lunch. I ordered chicken in garlic sauce and he ordered shrimp with vegetables. Both lunch specials to include soup, egg roll and rice. The food was awful. Little or no flavor in the shrimp dish including the fried rice. The chicken with garlic sauce was so oily, I drained the sauce. I asked for no green peppers and received celery, carrots and loads of onions. Very little chicken. We threw the egg rolls out after my husband tasted one of them. The wonton soup incudes empty wontons. Noodle only. Thank goodness I can get good Asian/Chinese food in NJ. I would never order from here again.
