Delicious! Service was good

People who work here are super friendly. REALLY good ( fast) free wifi and yummy food. Plus the place is always clean and rarely crowded. I love DQ bc a lot of ppl go to McDonald's for free wifi but DQ's wifi is much faster, more dependable, and there's no terms to agree to or anything like other places. As long as you're within range it connects easily every time.

I had to wash my own table to seat down and eat but it's due to they don't have enough employees. So I didn't mind washing my own table they were busy and trying to clean but it's hard especially when you are short handed.

Food was really good and customer service was A+. Loved seeing them constantly cleaning the counter top after ice cream orders. Will definitely be our spot to go to.

You can never go wrong when it comes to visiting your DQ but this location was great plenty of open parking w/quick & accurate ordering. Tables were all clean bathroom was in perfect condition

What a pleasant surprise! I haven't been to a Dairy Queen in years, but the family was hungry on a road trip and this was convenient. I was impressed! The restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms, the staff was very polite, and the food was good. Kudos to this small town team for making a great impression!

I’d share a photo of my Blizzard, but it’s gone! The Palestine location is good, always enjoy the food and the desserts. The chili cheese fries are tasty and the selection of Blizzards is great. The seasonal flavors are fun to try. We agave not ever had a problem at this location.

Road trip from Dallas. This is easily the best DQ we've ever been to! Staff are friendly, service was QUICK by DQ standards, and the floorplan allows for a semblance of privacy. AMAZING!

Always delicious. Always get the Chicken Strip Country Basket, usually the 6 count to share with my pets. BTW, I know I'm super quiet, even friends pick at me for it... After I said "Sprite" two times, but the employee couldn't hear, I said "Surprise me." I received a drink that was pink with lime slices in it... really delicious, thank you 😂. What was it so I can get it again?

Great food. Always prepared correctly. My only complaint is lack of access to napkins and younger employees who don't seem to understand why they are needed.

Their ice cream is the BEST smooth and creamy!! Definitely not ice milk. Their hot fudge sundaes are the best I've tried. It isn't hot chocolate syrup. It is actually a thick fudge!! Yummy!! Another quick favorite of ours are the chili dogs.

Normal DQ food. We went there for desserts for the family. It took a while to get everyone's desserts, The vibes were decently quick, but getting blizzards was a bit of a wait. It wasn't to long, but longer than expected.

Always super busy there which is a good thing. Maybe a little bit more staff. But overall they are awesome!

Great Burgers every time. Also they have a manager's special every Tuesday. The hunger buster single meat Burger is available for $1.99 all day long instead of the normal $4.37. in addition to this they have a senior discount for anyone over 55 of 20% off your ticket which really makes for a great deal!!

It's DQ, food is good as it should be, the place is clean and staff are friendly, they do seem to get a giggle when I order 4 meat patties with cheese and no buns or veggies. The food always comes out fast and is hot and fresh.

Update: The cashier named Vicky was like a breath of fresh air. She was very upbeat and pleasant. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and everything was correct. Previous experience: I was a little disappointed in the quality of the food. The chicken strips were overcooked and the fries were cold.

We haven't eaten here in quite a while because of some sour experiences in the past, but tonight everything was great. The chicken finger basket deal is excellent, lots of high-quality and well-fried chicken, hot fresh fries, yummy toast and really good tasting gravy. My monster 13-year old football player son got full - and that takes some doing! Staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely return, and highly recommend.

Stopped for a quick bite at the Dairy Queen in Palestine off of Loop 256.before calling it a day. Placed order for Country Basket & a Banana Split. Difficult conversing with masked employee. Sound was muffled. One star taken off of my rating because of general appearance of restaurant, uncleaned tables, and a dirty door handle that everone uses to enter. My ordered Banana Split could have been more attractive in presentation.

Food is consistently the same, the drive through in this location could use a few more employees on the assembly line. There is usually a long wait.

Lately its such a long wait for ANYTHING. Depends on who's working if you get more than a top layer of candies "in" your blizzard. Sometimes its mostly just vanilla ice cream. If the right people are working it's great, but expensive.

The buster bar was melting and they spoke over each other in the drive through. Probably better if you go inside! Very nice workers.

Service could use an upgrade. Stricter dress code and cleanliness codes enforced would go a long way. The drive thru takes forever, so you can guarantee one of you will have melting ice cream sitting on the counter while you wait on the rest of your order.

Poor service, seemed more interested in prepping for closing than helping customers.

I went on Taco Tuesday because their tacos are $1.49 each. I was very excited to try them. It took 10 minutes in the drive through line and there was only 1 car ahead of me. I got the tacos and I must say I was disappointed. The tacos didn’t taste that great and the shells tasted old. I love tacos that have a great meat taste and I didn’t taste the meat. Next time I will stick with the steak finger basket.

Ordered a medium blizzard which is pretty small and it wasn't even full. It was half melted and cost almost $5. I don't mind paying for something good but it was practically a milkshake with pecans.

Went to the DQ in Palestine for a quick bite to eat. I specifically asked for fresh fries. The last ones I had from there were cold and tough. When I got my order I immediately reached in the bag to grab a couple of fries...yep cold tough fries again. I told the girl at the drive through they were not fresh. She had more fries cooked. The ice cream with hot brownie was melting waiting on the fries...it will probably be awhile before I go back.

Went thru drive thru for cheese bites and a small blizzard. They took 3 minutes to just take my order and then another 15 to get it to me. Only one car in front of me. The car behind me drive off before even ordering.

Employees not very friendly. Food is ok but I think the DQs in Frankston, Noonday and Tyler serve better tasting food and they do it with a smile. Also the men;s restroom was a mess at about 8 pm on 3/19/18.

Been in this store 3 times in the last month. The young lady that took our orders is the same one ever time. Every Time she either don't listen to what's ordered or just don't care about the customer. They can't seam to get the order right.i will not go back into this DQ.

Dine in after 8 pm not able to sit in back. Only booths available due to several others there. Booths not comfortable for older folks. Staff are adamant that NO ONE can sit at the tables. It is a deterrent for choosing DQ. Whataburger has tables .

DQ is commonly a reliable choice when it comes to fast food; and their treats are delicious. Today was the exception. My usual order, Grilled Chicken Combo with tea, became a dissatisfying Journey, ending with cold, overcooked French Fries, and a sandwich whose once toasted bun, had absorbed all the liquids from the tomato, lettuce and salad dressing. After placing my order, I took a window seat and was enjoying people and nature watching. Ten minutes passed. Curiously, I approached the cashier with my order number. Several other orders were in the window, but not mine. I returned to my table. About a minute later my bag was placed before me. No explanation, no apology, just cold, soggy food. Not a happy camper this time.

Each table was dirty almost as the floor. My boyfriend had a taco salad and he said the meat didn't taste right and the lettuce looked a little brown. My food was pretty good but that doesn't make up for his food and how filthy the tables were with no napkins and almost no ketchup on any off the tables. The guy who ordered after us had to wait fifteen minutes at the counter just to order. The bathrooms were abysmal as well. This is sad for my boyfriend and I because last time we were here a few months back I would've given it a five star. Now? Not even close.

Place need pest control.. As the guy brought my to go order a roach was crawling up the wall. He took a napkin & killed it..We looked on floor & behold another one was on tje floor except he looked dead. Took my stuff & ran out the door..very nasty & didn't even apologized he went right back into kitchen as if nothing happened.

Got a chocolate brownie extreme blizzard that had no brownie pieces after waiting 10 minutes in the driv thru so it was just ice cream with a few chocolate pieces in it. Do better DQ

Just went in for some blizzards and milkshakes. Service was sluggish, with the employees taking a long time to come around to take our order, put the order in, and start making the items. Nobody else was in line before us. Three out of five of our blizzards were the wrong kind altogether when they handed them to us and they had to remake them. The blizzards were great, but it took almost 45 minutes to finally get what we ordered and mine had already started melting by then. This is an employee management problem not a food problem. I love blizzards!

Here lately the drive theu cant get an order right. Tired of it. I asked for cheese plain and dry. Got everything on it. Now I go to bed sick without food bc I ain’t eating it, and it was a waste of my money. I’m not driving back.

The food was old and cold. Not good at all. We actually threw it all the way. Definitely do not recommend the DQ in Palestine.

The last time (which was the LAST time) we went we needed to take a fly swatter with us. It might have been a little better if they learned how to turn on the A/C too. I have been to several DQ's but have never been to one that serves them FAT fries. We had a steak finger basket and the steak fingers were cold. WE do go through the drive thru to get my boys a blizzard But, will never eat there again! Wouldn't recommend anyone wastes their money there!

Very expensive and food was given to the dogs! We had 2 steak finger baskets. The meat was tasteless and it took a while for our order. We won't go back.

The root beer soft serve float is mostly ice cream. Couldn't taste the root beer at all! The day before we got blizzards that were a soggy mess. I had to ask for napkins because they got the goods all over the cups. This USED to be my go to place.

Was waiting five minutes before anyone came up front to the register, cashier ignored us or ask us if we were ready, store phone rings so cashier proceeds to take the phone order before ours. Then finally took our order, assumed we wanted combos without asking. Worst experience ever- will not be going back.

The best thing this store had was ice cream cakes the whole family always gets one for every birthday. They discontinued them at this location on January 1 the will lose a lot of money won’t be going here anymore.

Downright rude employees! Went through the drive thru asked for a medium Oreo blizzard and the women said rudely "what size for whatever you just said" she then said pull up and never let us finish our order. We then said ma'am we're not finished and she blew in the speaker and rudely said finish then I'm waiting.

Drive thru intercom was not working, no signs, no one coming out to take orders. The took orders at the window and had people waiting 30+ minutes.

Dairy Queen in Palestine, TX has gone to the roaches. As we ate our Dilly bar, we seen about thirty roaches crawling on the walls. No lie!!

We got 4 blizzards the price was 20 dollars yet when we got them they were melted and they didn't flip them when handing them yet they expect us to pay that much for something that isn't even how they were supposed yo do it...disappointed dq.

Don’t use the app. This location says it does curbside but according to the shift manager Stacy they don’t do it. I waited 20 minutes for one dipped cone and 2 dilly bars. Saw about 4 employee’s our in the parking lot violating city ordinances concerning smoking near an entrance. Also when I got inside to see what was taking so long for a dipped cone no employee’s were wearing masks properly. Never again will I visit this Dairy Queen again. I encourage you to not go as well. If they don’t care enough to wear a mask or follow rules can you imagine what they don’t care about when it comes to sanitation or the health and welfare do their customers?

Ordered a tropical blizzard even though it doesn’t come with pinapple but because it’s happend before I ask for no pinapple the drive through lady came back and said absolutely no pineapple guess what had very little stuff but it had pineapple which breaks me out one the drive through lady was a liar and 2 what if my allergies were worse I called spoke to mgr he said they could put in book for a remake why would I want another one will not be back

Very slow service at the window tonight and then not just that I asked for napkins they said they was out how can you be out of napkins when you supposed to keep your store stocked with things you need and all I ordered was a dipped cone and a shake without the cool whip on top of it but they didn’t listen and instead of getting our stuff right away they was talking to someone like it look like visiting instead of serving customers I’m very disappointed in the service it was the assistant manager holding up the lane of traffic very disappointing if you need talk to an employee do that when you ain’t so busy that is common sense not when you are busy someone from corporate office need come see how they run the store and make some adjustments to the store

Worst place to go in town. Ordered kids chicken strip meal. Didn’t even put the chicken strips in here. Then ordered a HOT triple chocolate brownie. The brownie came out cold. When I went back I was told by the manager that they did not have the machine for the brownie anymore and could not even make it warm. If you do not have what is needed to make a menu on the item then it needs to be taken off. If I wanted something cold then I would have ordered regular ice cream. Then we were not even provided with a solution or an alternative and were given this “it is what you get attitude.” I don’t believe the customer is always right, but we should have been told upfront about the machine and when we came back, a solution should have been presented. This is not the first time there has been multiple issues with this location. I have given numerous opportunities but this restaurant is just awful and a needs to be under new management team. Let’s not talk about how dirty it is either.

It seems to be the norm now that the customer service drive through is so rude everytime, and after a certain time at night they tell you the machines are “frozen” so they can’t make you blizzards, so upset with how down low this place has gone,

Always a mess coming here. We've stopped ordering regular food since they always get the order wrong and it usually smells like month old grease. This last visit was the worst. Not only got our order wrong after waiting at the window for 20 minutes, but the rude girl with an attitude rolled her eyes at us when we said the burgers were wrong then griped at the cook. Unprofessional as hell. Idk how this place stays in business when they only hire these rude people.

The food is good. However, I am not a fan of the service. My family and I came for supper and after ordering for 6 was told that I had to buy condiments. Really DQ, you are not that cheap as it is. I can easily go a few doors down to Whataburger where the foods just good, you get more of it and all the condiments are free. Also, I know it was close to closing but to shut down the ice cream machine before closing, really? You are an ice cream joint, who does not have ice cream. We will not be back!

Wish I could give them zero stars. We are visiting from Alabama and I must say unfriendly staff that you can tell hate there job. Dining area filthy unsanitary kitchen and staff that itch themselves and wipe sweat from the forehead while making and handling food. Don't eat there unless you want food poisoning.

If I could give them no stars I would. We went to eat dine in and we got out and as soon as we walked to the door the girl locked door and just stared at us. They still had 1hour and 15 minutes until closing and had people in the dining room eating and in drive thru. We will not be back!

Horrible the owner needs to do better and find out why this Palestine location is in such disfunction. The lack of knowledge and the reason behind having good customer service towards your patrons respect and in getting it right is important.(especially evening shift). And if and when it doesn't happen the manager on duty should respond accordingly. That is going to make the customer whole again. At any cost. Keeping a customer is what keeps you in business. My complaint is ordered 4 piece steak finger combo LG. Tot ,LG coke got home there were about 6 TOTS and crumbs and bits of what you to be a tator tot. Employees are not consistent in properly dipping an ice cream cone. I used to go here weekly to get a dipped cone. They absolutely must dip it all the way down to where it touches the cone or else it's going to leak ALL OVER YOUR HAND while you're driving. The ice cream at the bottom where it meets the cone needs to be covered up completely so that it doesn't melt and leak all over the place. The last gal argued with me, telling me I was wrong... In my opinion, there's a right way and a wrong way, so it's not worth it to me to go here again. Google a picture of a dipped cone and you'll see that I'm right. Writing this months later and I'm still bothered by how I was treated.

It sad to know that you can't get a decent peanut buster parfait from this location without getting a whole bag of peanuts added to it. I have lived in Palestine my entire life and love to go to this establishment for a peanut buster parfait, but the last two times I have went and purchased this item I cannot even eat it because it is nothing but peanuts. This is sad and I will not be going back.

Me and my family went there for icecream spent over 20$ on 4 small blizzards the man didn't flip them bc they were so melted. And mine and my husband's were the wrong order they put only pecans in mine and gave my husband something totally different. It was horrible not to mention the 20 min we had to wait.

We love DQ. Usually good food and tasty ice cream treats. However, this location is having issues. Long long long waits in the drive through followed by melted ice cream and super grumpy employees. An occasional grumpy employee and melted ice cream is understandable, but it seems to be the rule instead of the exception. We will think twice before returning. And probably wont.

Went in on Sunday, Father's Day. Place was about half full. I counted at least 7 people in the back and 1 at the counter. We ordered our chicken and blizzards at 5:44pm. Within a few moments our food was handed to us. I inquired about the blizzards and got a shrugged shoulder. The young man then left the counter, even though there were 2 other couples waiting in line. He just disappeared. All I could hear from the back was laughing and goofing around. Another couple of minutes and the young man came back and took their orders. I inquired again as to the status of our blizzards. Another shrug. I went to the treats area and inquired. The guy said they were already made, so says his computer screen. I assured him they were not, so reluctantly, he made them for us. I had paid for extra toppings, but when we got to the motel to eat, we discovered there was just the regular amount in there. Very disappointed, to say the least. Nearly $35 for cold chicken and inadequate blizzards. Blizzards were handed to us at 5:59pm. Pathetic performance.

I ordered the chicken strip basket. I will let the picture speak for me. I will not be going back. Check out the pic. I began to eat one of the chicken strips when I remembered to take a pic. I did not eat anything else out of the basket. This was terrible to say the least.
