Place was wonderful! We started off with Alla Carroza with prosciutto. The bolognese gnnochi and the fungi gnocchi are to die for! Wonderful atmosphere inside. Can’t wait to visit again to get the gnocchi. Definitely a must visit in park city. Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get and the amazing quality of the food too.
Went up to park city for the weekend & we had some of the best food! We checked out Buona Vita based off the excellent reviews & it happened to be pretty close to where we were staying. I thought this place was one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been to in a while honestly! I ordered the Al Funghi. It comes with penne noodles, mushrooms, & a creamy tomato sauce. I think I saw somewhere in the reviews other referring to it as a pink sauce. My boyfriend doesn’t care for mushrooms but really liked this dish. I thought the sauce had such a unique taste to it. I can’t describe it. It was delicious with the bread being dipped it in as well. Portions were large & I ended up taking half of this meal home & eating it the next day. It made me want to return to park city asap! My boyfriend ordered the Caesar salad as a side & the pollo alla parmigiana. He loved the Caesar salad here! He liked this dish as well. I thought the pasta sauce was pretty basic to spaghetti sauce but the breaded chicken was really good. We thought the bread was too hard that they served to the table. I wish it was a little softer, or larger in size so there was more than just the outside of the bread I felt like I was eating. We tried two wines, The Gabbiano Chianti Classico (red wine) & the Torre De Luna Pino Grigio (white wine). Both wines were fantastic! Cute place! Staff was great! Highly recommend this place!
Our waitress Cecilia was lovely and very attentive. Dinner was super good and the views were amazing! We were thrilled with our experience!
This is a MUST EAT in park city especially if you want pasta. The servers, I could tell were very busy but made sufficient time for us and were attentive to our needs. Some of the best raviolis I had in a very long time. We’ll be back!
Buona Vita was an amazing place to eat in Park City and a great date night option! The staff was attentive and very kind. The pizza was outstanding. The Spaghetti Vongole was also amazing. The clam to spaghetti ratio was very generous. Definitely would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting or who lives in Park City!
This is a really nice restaurant. They have a menu that offers a huge variety of items. The service was fast and friendly as well. If you want good Italian then look no further.
One of the best chicken parmesan dishes I've ever had. The pomodoro sauce was excellent, with a rich tomato flavor. The breading on the chicken was light and crunchy, and went perfectly with the chicken and sauce. My wife had the chicken marsala. The fresh vegetables and sauce in that dish were excellent as well. Highly recommended!
I had ordered the Ravioli Fungi, mushroom stuffed ravioli, as well as the pasta carbonara and all I can say is that this place is the best italian food i've had in a while. Perfect portions packed with delightful flavor. Also, The service was superb and there was always someone to help service you with either water or just a casual check up. My waiter at the time was named peter and he was the kindest and most considerable waiter who was able to answer literally any questions about the restaurant/food. Highly recommend.
Lovely meal. Our waiter, Peter was great!
Great food, great experience.
The Chicken Marsala come whit Marsalla wine and a mushroom sauce that gives a perfect saison to the chicken
This restaurant is awesome. Delicious food, amazing service, cute atmosphere. We do not understand why their rating isn’t way higher! Highly recommend
Wild mushroom stuffed ravioli was incredibly good. Spritz was refreshing and delicious. Prices were reasonable. Calamari was among the best I have ever had. My girlfriend and I know good Italian food and this was a great blend of authentic classics with their own twists. Our waiter was superb. The atmosphere here is cozy and cute. Many of the poor reviews for this place are based off the service, but our experience was outstanding. This is no olive garden, if you are hoping for cheesy, creamy, greasy comfort food, look elsewhere, but don't complain that this place makes real Italian food.
Great italian restaurant with a lot of options, reasonably price, kid friendly. Buffalo ravioli were delicious as well as tiramisu. The staff was very friendly and the decor/ambiance is really nice.
We had the most delicious meal in this beautiful restaurant! All of the service was excellent as well. We plan to come back very soon.
When visiting for a bachelorette party, our service was top tier! Peter was our server. He was amazing with the jokes and the food/drink recommendations! He made our experience! Alongside Peter, the food was grand. Definitely a must when visiting Park City.
We hosted a wedding welcome party here for about 100 people and it was perfect. We had finger foods and gelato, everyone loved it! Having the patio on the back of the building was perfect! Thank you so much!
Our server, Peter was terrific. He also has a great singing voice. He sang solo to two tables in the restaurant for their birthday. We wanted a casual evening and Buono Vita House is just that. The food was good, very reasonably priced, and came out hot.
We came into town to eat at another restaurant that turned out to be closed due to an emergency. We went into Buona Vita at about 7:30pm on a Friday and asked if they could seat 6 people. They seated us within 20 minutes which was incredibly accommodating. We ordered a pizza and a variety of pasta, salmon, meatball, and ravioli dishes. We all thought the food was amazing and portion sizes were plentiful. The service was great and everyone was very pleasant. Highly recommend eating here and look forward to stopping in next time we’re in Park City.
Came in with a group of friends and had a great experience. Food was delicious, and less expensive than most other park city options. Our server Peter was fantastic as well. Highly recommend!
Peter was a phenomenal server! He was very thoughtful and kind. Thank you once again!! We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and he made our night even more memorable. We started with salads and ended with pasta dishes all were amazing. We will be back!
Great Italian food, cool mood and decent pricing. Service was great, friendly staff. The garlic bread basket was clutch. They have a kids menu and they offered crayons to keep the kids busy.
Quality and portions were decent and prices were reasonable. Also had a good kids menu. The grilled mozzarella was a great appetizer. Was not a big fan of the ribeye. It seemed like a low grade and was overcooked.
Good Italian food, small menu but surprisingly good selections. Sit outside if you can it's nice.
Great service from Raul. The pasta was a bit overcooked but the sauces were good enough that it was still tasty.
Decent food, friendly service, and a cool atmosphere—but it is expensive. We were staying about 15 minutes away and ended up here after another Italian restaurant was fully booked. Overall, it was a good experience. My pizza was mediocre and not something I’d recommend, hence the 3 stars. But the pasta was solid and the steak was phenomenal. The appetizers were great as well, and the staff was welcoming. My only real complaint is the comically small plates for appetizers, salad, and bread—I could probably hold more food in my flat hand. Trying to take a little of everything we shared had my plate overflowing immediately. Pricey, but still an enjoyable dining experience overall.
Great location! Service was incredibly slow, 20 minutes after we sat down we finally saw a server. 20 minutes after that we finally were served some complimentary bread. We'd asked that our wine be served with our meals and the wine arrived about ten minutes after our meals were served. The food was really good! As was the dessert. Lastly, the hostess was vaping while we were eating, very close to our table, which is in violation of UT code.
We enjoyed our meal. The Primavera, the fried ravioli and Del d'orio pasta special were excellent.
A nice little restaurant with a beautiful outdoor seating area. Peter was a fantastic server, very attentive and knowledgeable. The food was superb in every way. I got the goat cheese salad (that's probably not the real name) and my wife got a carbonara dish and I swiped a few bites because it was so good. Unfortunately we both got food poisoning within about two/ three hours of eating. Possibly the egg or bacon in the pasta. If not for that this would be an easy Five stars.
This restaurant was highly recommended by my parents who we were excited to treat. It was very mediocre. The garlic bread was more like Wonder bread and I can make it better at home. We ordered the Genoa chicken pizza and it was flavorless although the crust was good. My parents ordered the clam pasta but I do not have feedback from them on how it was. For $198 for four people, it should have been outstanding. (That didn't conclude a bottle of wine.) The server was nice enough and the atmosphere was okay. Maybe we hit this place on a bad night, but I would not go back.
I came here for my friends birthday and ordered the Spaghetti Vongole. To my surprise it was very soupy and bland. The pasta was not salted so it definitely not cooked in salted water. This was my first time trying it so maybe it’s supposed to be that way. The garlic bread wasn’t on the menu and the waitress ask us as if it was complimentary and it wasn’t. Don’t get me wrong- the garlic bread was amazing! It was a very nice atmosphere and my friend got a free dessert for her birthday but for a 45$ meal included with tip. It was not worth the price in my opinion.
Place was decent. The menu wasn’t as descriptive as it needed to be. A person in our group ordered scampi and the red sauce came with beef and pork. They cannot have beef and pork and started to have an allergic reaction. Luckily they didn’t have much of it but that’s something that should be monitored at all times when serving people at a restaurant. Our server quickly helped us and switched out the meal for something else.
I really love Park City in summer and this restaurant is in a great location right in the heart of main street. Half of our party liked their food and half didn't think it was great. I got the pizza and it was really good. Our server was friendly and helpful at first, but as soon as we ordered water and soda instead of alcohol he completely blew us off. We had to ask multiple times for things and he gave us an attitude everytime, even though we were really nice about it. We felt like we were an inconvenience to him and that he didn't want to be bothered by us. We were so patient and tolerant of the bad service because we were with great company in a great location with pretty good food. The management really needs to address the behavior and attitudes of the service.
We didn’t realize we had to have a reservation to get dinner on a weekday. Very small dining area and we got there around 6:30pm on a Tuesday and they said it would be an hour and a half wait to be seated. Would have loved to try the food but didn’t get the chance. Make sure you call ahead and make a reservation before just going here.
I wish I had read the reviews prior to coming here. My wife and I were visiting Park City for our anniversary. We decided we wanted pasta for dinner so we came here. We made a reservation so we were seated right away. However, it took a long time to be acknowledged by our waitress to get things rolling. We also were ignored most of the evening by the staff... we even ended up asking for bread when we realized we weren't going to get any (which usually comes at the beginning of the meal) and the waitress just acted like she didn't forget. The pasta was ok, but nothing special. We had a lot of left overs and we didn't box it up, which is rare for us, because we both agreed our meals were mediocre. We also ordered deserts. Again, they were ok but nothing special. The creme brulee had no flavor, my wife commented to me that they may not have even used vanilla in it. My dessert was supposed to have orange zest, but again it had no flavor... including orange. My wife and I are not picky, you may get the impression that we are high maintenance or hard to please. This isn't the case, which is why I'm even writing this review. We really expected a lot more from this meal and we hope everything will be improved!
Food was tasty. We picked up our order as we were staying at the Marriott Summitt around the corner in order to save on the delivery fee. It turns out we were still charged 18% gratuity fee. We were not informed of this anywhere on their website, order service, receipt, nor during pickup. Pretty ridiculous I’d say. I’d be happy to pay a service fee but not this much for picking up an order. Feeling robbed. Tip culture is beyond comprehension.
Overpriced. Food was just ok. The pizza was the high point. Nothing else seemed fresh, including salad and bruschetta. Sat outside, they have the patio heaters but no propane in them - what? The bill reflected an automatic gratuity for a party our size that was more than the food, and when asked about the mistake the waiter blamed the computer and reluctantly reprinted it. Safe to say we will never return.
Lovely atmosphere, however for an Italian restaurant I would have expected much more flavor( where was the garlic) large portions but pasta was not well incorporated into sauce. Salad tomatoes not ripe, calamari undercooked. The wait staff was lovely. Overall, just pedestrian with a great atmosphere
Atmosphere and server was nice.. food was ok, not worth the price. Asked to sample the 2 pino grigio.. she brought out a full glass. Not sure which one thankfully it was good. For appetizers I asked for the calamari and mussels. Never got the calamari. When we ordered we told the server that it was separate checks and who was with who. She brings out one check and told us to figure it out ourselves and write it down. Then took forever for her to even come back to pick up our check when the restraunt had less than 5 tables present. Tried it , Wouldn't go again.
It was okay, nothing special. The staff and our waiter were nice. There was one worker/server that was folding silverware/napkins that had a cough and he was coughing on the silverware and was coughing while walking around, was unsettling. The pizza was sub par, actually was pretty bad and wouldn’t recommend it, crust was terrible like a premade puff pastry something idk, don’t buy it, The chicken parm came out cold, but it was a good portion size and tasted okay. The ravioli and gnocchi was okay, good portions. Chicken bolognese was a decent portion but also not special. The only dish that came out good was the bacon carbonara, tasted good, was a good portion and came out warm. The atmosphere is okay, overall wouldn’t really recommend it.
The overall atmosphere was good but unfortunately the food significantly fell short. My party ordered several different dishes and were only satisfied with one of them. Both steaks we ordered were overcooked and chewy, with poor quality. We sent back one of the steaks and were told that those were the last two steaks of the night resulting in my friend not eating and instead choosing to eat at home. Overall I wouldn’t recommend
Tomato sauce tasted terrible, like it was canned, and so did the meatballs, they didn't even taste like meatballs. When we asked the waitress if they were homemade, she answered yes super quickly and we said we didn't like the food and she didn't do anything about it.
This place was genuinely terrible. I don’t understand how it had any good reviews. We got their “special garlic bread” and it was literally just a burn loaf of bread. We also got their calamari, which for the price you’d assume would be a decent amount, but there was maybe 10 pieces that were nearly impossible to chew. I got the bolognese as my main and I don’t understand how it’s possible to be that bad. I ate maybe four bites. Avoid at all costs.
First, i never complain about restaurant and always keep chance to the product Here, Worst food expérience ever of my whole life for a so-called Ristorante Italiano We are in Park City and the minimum for a Main Street restaurant would have been high scale food, no ? Pasta marinara sauce: 0/10: we can find better in Cane at Supermarket Pizza alla bolognese: 0/10, we can find much better Frozen pizza as well Insalata Antispati: We can find better at Fred Meyer/Safeway Service is OK and Restarante Ambiance is OK but food, my friends is 0/10; we have been trapped; probably micro oven et frozen supply
THE WORST CALAMARI EVER. THE WORST MARINARA EVER. Ambiance is fine, cute place, casual Italian Restaurant. How could you go wrong? Server was nice enough but wow the food was bad, so bad. Anyone with tastebuds should skip this restaurant and go to any other Italian restaurant nearby. The calamari was spoiled and a quick bite was pure fishy. The marinara has an off-putting smell and inedible. The other dishes were so terrible we returned most and dealt with a manager that could have cared less. Said nothing she can do she's not the chef. Save your money and go for a dining experience elsewhere. The chef needs to quickly work on the food quality and recipes.
I am not one to ever leave reviews, however, this was an experience worth using to warn others. Walking in, my group of five were nothing but ecstatic to try this restaurant. The atmosphere seemed to be on par, nice and cozy, good lighting, quality appearance and just overall good vibes. This was sadly ruined as our night went on. To start, we were offered a “special homemade garlic bread”, which consisted of a burnt loaf of bread with a light garlic oil coating in the middle. Something I would expect to get for free as we sat down at Olive Garden. After this, we got the calamari, which sadly was almost inedible due to a chewy, rubber like consistency from being overcooked. Moving on from the appetizers, we got a chicken parm, lobster ravioli, veal ravioli, and two orders of bolognese for our entrees. The chicken parm, was chicken parm. No complaints there. The lobster ravioli was nothing shy of a soggy fishlike pasta that had no real flavor aside from a stereotypical “seafood” taste. The veal ravioli was subpar, with again no real flavor in the ravioli and far too many capers leaving an overwhelming salty taste. As for the bolognese, neither dish was finished as it was truly awful. I feel that this is a very easy dish to master, and they fell completely short. The beef had a strange taste, and left both customers wishing we could stop somewhere else for dinner as neither ate more than 4-5 bites. Not a single plate was left empty on the table due to how underwhelming the meal was. At the end of the day, this was one of the worst experiences I have ever had at an establishment. The atmosphere would have been a 5 had it not been for a group of 8 men, yelling for our entire meal. Cursing, mocking and making vulgar comments which the staff not once addressed and asked them to keep it down. I understand their guests are not in their control, however, I feel that at some point they should have some awareness and take ownership over the effect this has on other experience. With the prices they are posting and the image they convey, this restaurant has us leaving wondering where we could go get dinner for the night.
What a terrible experience this place was. First, they do not open at 5:00pm like their hours say online. Second, their online ordering does not work. I was charged $165 for my online order and the order was never even processed. There was "nothing the restaurant could do for us" about the refund despite showing the manager my bank statement charge. The cherry on top was the manager and hostess refusing to seat us because "they don't have any availability" despite 75% of the tables being open so that we could order our food to go after their website failed to process our order. Avoid this place.
This was by far the worst Italian food I've had. I ordered Chicken Parmigiana it was burned on the bottom and sauce was horrible. We had the Brushetta and the bread just fell apart didn't even hold together to put the tomatoes on it. We will not be back. Took forever for the waitress to come over and help us and it wasn't that busy.
No no no .. absolutely empty restaurant, took them 40 minutes to prepare a simple pizza and they somehow managed to bring it cold. Food was not tasty at all. Service was friendly, but that did not help the situation. Overall place is not clean and seems very dated.
I wish I could say we had a good experience at Buona Vita, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. While our waiter was very nice, the rest of the visit left much to be desired. From the moment we arrived, the hostess was unfriendly and made us wait 20 minutes, even though our table was ready and visible right in front of us. Once seated, it took nearly an hour for our food to arrive, and when it finally did, our order was wrong. This level of service was disappointing and not worth the time or money. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. Hopefully, management addresses these issues in the future.
