Got the Dungeness boil it was great. Our server Nell was nothing short of amazing! She was super attentive and anticipated our needs. Not to mention the music was jamming.

The food was really good and the drinks were on point. Our waitress was Nadiya and she was awesome. She didn’t miss a beat and was very funny and sweet. I will be back only if nadiya can be my waitress.

Corey and Ms. Kathy have great energy. They make sure the food is good and the drinks. The sauce on the seafood is very good.

This was a recommended place and it really didn’t disappoint. Nadiya had no problem handling our requests. I agree with other reviews that the catfish was a bit greasy, but I still finished my plate lol. Nadiya had great recommendations - she knew how much food we should order to fill us up. One of my friends didn’t like their drink and Nadiya was more than happy to get another drink for him. If you get to pick, I would recommend that you request Nadiya to take care of you and your party!

Came in on a Un busy Sunday, was walked to my table, literally ordered and food was out in 10 minutes. Very satisfied, very good, very please.

This will be my 2nd time here.. The Service was definitely five star and the Lobster 🦞 meal was absolutely tasty! Our waiter name was Renee and she was so sweet and so kind, I just definitely wanted to leave this review for my second experience here with Renee was the best experience then my first one! Amazing service from Nadiya! She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made sure our dining experience was perfect from start to finish. My daughter and I had 1lb shrimp each with the Boom sauce. That is our go-to when we visit the CC. Service was good, food was good, overall a good experience. Will def. be visiting again in the near future.

Nadiya was amazing! She greeted us with a warm smile and kept the energy positive throughout our meal. She was attentive without being overbearing, making sure our drinks stayed full and our food came out just right. Her knowledge of the menu and friendly attitude made our experience even better. They have a great service and awesome attitudes from the servers. Like for example my server was name Ionie. She was an excellent server, lots of smiles, gave out some really good recommendations on the foods and drinks.

My wife & I visit was IMMACULATE! I normally come in on my days off on a Wednesday sit at the bar with Nell! But today we dined in with Lex and she was AWESOME she know the menu like the back of her hand. Bravo, we had a fine time & definitely will be back.

I love this place so much! Nadiya is one of my favorite servers! She is always sweet, respectful, attentive and remembers us/ our orders when we come. It’s like the “neighborhood bar” and I life yo come here. More for the service first, then the food second!

Food was very good. I thought the level of spiciness was a little below what was advertised on the menu. Next time I'll bump it up another level. Our server Mykah was very attentive. Will go back when they can serve beer with the awesome food.

Holy cow what an excellent experience!I love seafood so I can be a harsh judge at times. We had a seafood boil in their boom sauce. It was a mixture of crab, shrimp, crawfish, mussels and clams. Alexis gave fine dining level service in this comfy and get messy atmosphere. We'll be back for sure!

The service here is excellent! Our server, Nadiya, was beyond polite and attentive. Our drinks were always filled, our food was tasty and hot, and Nadiya was extremely good at explaining different menu options. Absolutely will be returning!

Loved the food and music here, as an indecisive eater I really appreciated our server Nadiya. She recommended several delicious meals! My server bells was amazing and attentive. Not over bearing but still making sure we got everything we wanted and needed! Got a winter comso and cherry limeade and they were spot on!! Definitely making sure they are there next time I go!!

Was in town for the week had to stop at my favorite place for lunch. Food was amazing as usual. Ms Mika was my server she answered every question I had and was very attentive. I recommend asking for her next time you dine-in.

We went on a Tuesday and enjoyed Karaoke for our first time. Our server Jontrell was knowledgable and patient answering all of our questions. The food is great and the fact that you can order the sauce to take home is an added plus!! Ms Kathy was awesome and friendly!!!

We stopped by for lunch & absolutely loved it! Had the fried shrimp basket w/onion rings. All very tasty. You have a choice of cole slaw, onion rings, french fries and sweet potato fries. Nice menu options w/gumbo, crab, fish & much more. The restaurant has a nice bar too. The food was delicious. Our waiter Jason was the best. We all hope to go back very soon! Today we shared the fried shrimp and onion ring basket and the gumbo. Some of the best fried shrimpies and rings we've ever had. Sure glad they're building a Crafty C in our neighborhood....open open....can't wait! The gumbo was good but not the best. We'll be back for more.

Beyond the quality of the food, the amazing Corey at the bar a unique service team that goes above and beyond, with that being said, take care of your servers and keep on coming back. Always a good time, amazing drinks, and exceptional BOOM sauce 😜. All under Micah’s leadership……this place is on the right track onforward!

I'm guessing atmosphere depends on what day and time you go. Ive only been on Sundays right after they open. The food is fabulous. I got the shrimp with no heads, buttery garlic flavor and medium spiciness. Soooo freaking good. Potatoes are smooth and tasty. And the corn is delicious with the seasoning on it. This is my favorite of the locations I've been to.

One of the best places to eat seafood and other common foods both fried or grilled. Karina hands down is the best at her job. We got the seafood boil bag, the amount of seafood for the price will beat any restaurant on flavor and price. 10/10 recommend.

I had to wait a little for food but I was with a huge party for my niece’s birthday. The lobster boil was so delicious! I’ve never had a better lobster it was so tender and juicy, the lobster meat itself was sweet and the juices form the boil added a perfect kick.

Went to dinner tonight. It was a Friday. The overall service was very friendly from the hostesses to the servers. Our server Alexis was excellent. She had a lot of tables but was very attentive and accurate. I had the steamed oysters with boom sauce. I never had them like that and I loved it . My partner had the fried fish and shrimp basket. He said the fish was really good and the shrimp was typical. I had flavored lemonade and he has flavored tea both were delicious. Overall I enjoyed everything and will definitely be back.

I went to Crafty Crab in the Pearland area for dinner with my mom and daughter, and everything was delicious! The flavors were bold and fresh. The calamari stood out crispy, perfectly battered, and not soggy at all. For the seafood boil, I had the crawfish and snow crab, and they were amazing packed with flavor and cooked just right. The service was great too. They weren’t very busy when we went, which is surprising given how good both the food and service are. It’s honestly hard to find really good food in the Pearland area, so this spot was a pleasant surprise. If you’re a seafood enthusiast like I am, I definitely recommend checking this place out!

We (family and friends) came to Crafty Crab to celebrate our son's birthday. We had a party of 24. Our server was Renee and she was incredible. No way should she have had to wait on all of us by herself. Nevertheless, she remained pleasant with every one and served us as quickly as she could. All orders were delivered without an extremely long wait and they were all correct. Kudos to Ms. Renee for being a top server. Give that beautiful young lady a raise, or perhaps at least server (waitress) of the month!!! Everyone overall was pleased with their food. This was me and my husbands first time visiting. He had catfish with onion rings and stated the catfish was a bit greasy. He also had the key lime pie which was fabulous (sorry forgot to take pics of his food). I had crab cakes which was amazing and a 1/2 pound sausage with the boom sauce that Renee recommended and I was quite pleased. My only small remarks is that I expected more of a firm sausage with a bit more skin on it. In addition I also had one of the best shots ever. I have no idea what was in it but it was spectacular. It was purchased for me so I will have to get the name. Ok this is getting kind of long so going to stop here, but I will post a few pics. Thanks again for a lovely experience and hats off to Ms. Renee.

I've been eyeing this place for a while because my regular crawfish spot closed and moved. So I went with my mom this past Friday for her birthday, and we both loved it! Great atmosphere, very friendly and helpful staff. Loved the buttery garlic crawfish. It wasnt pricey either. We also got 3 other plates to go; and even with that the bill wasn't crazy expensive. We will definitely be back!

Amazing service Our server Nell was amazing. My only issue is the lighting. It’s too dimly lit for crab boils. The lighting would be more suitable for romantic restaurant.

I got snow crabs and fried fish, it was pretty good, I've had better with more flavor. It was BYOB, that I didn't know, wish I did, thought that was pretty cool.

Okay not sure how to rate. Sunday Dinner with a girlfriend. Company was great food was good too. Our waiter was on point. However, the utensils required to eat snow crabs were not available. My guess is either the guest take the crab crackers or they are thrown away by mistake. Either way we were without and to use our teeth and hands. I saw install a metal alarm at the door!!!!

Does not have a large variety of seafood dishes on the menu. Mostly fried and boiled plates. I wasn't too crazy with the gumbo it was more of a gumbo/rice casserole than a soup which is how gumbo should be. Flavor was good but, not the best. I ate it with fork instead of a spoon. Now the small boiled seafood plate was enough for two people. Very, very tasty...will order again but, will try something else but, like I said not much variety .

We're Fun

Get the garlic sauce, its delicious. Most of the food was overcooked like the calamari and crab. Calamari was like chewing erasers. Loved the sauce on the boil though. We went with medium spicy garlic sauce and it lived up to it's name. You can't say that they under-season at this place! I've gotten better portions for the same price... only cooked properly. 3 stars, because it's ok... and one bonus star for great sauce. Edit: Gave them another chance. Still same issue of overcooking the crap out of their lobster, King Crab ($70 a pound!) and shrimp! Seriously, I thought a year later they would have improved. Still worth it though for that delicious sauce. :D

We came when barely no one was there. I ordered the crabs and shrimp in the crafty sauce with fire seasoning. The crafty sauce had a lot of butter in it, its not a normal southern boil, because you can taste the butter. You can tell they took their time with the shrimp. The shell was cut down its back and devein. My husband had the catfish and oysters. The batter was absolutely amazing, the catfish was thin and crispy. The oysters wasn't the best, only thing that was good about it was the batter. It tasted like they didn't cook it long enough. It was almost raw and the batter was a bit greasy. Service was quick, the price decent. The 1/2 lb on crab and shrimp filled me up

I heard mixed reviews but I can say I would definitely go back. Glows: Friendly and fast service, seafood options (scallops, mussels, king, snow etc..The best corn on the cob ever. Most places don't pay attention to the corn and they over cook it, but not Crafty! That corn was firm and juicy. I was very impressed with the corn. They have varying flavors and heat levels. The screens are amazing and you can watch from in seating area in the restaurant. Grows: Please get Sunday Ticket lol or the stations that will show sports from different conferences. Yall have an amazing set-up screen wise so please get those other channels. That would set it off for sure. My hubs fish looked like Swai not Mississippi Farm raised catfish so he didn't finish it. Sweet potato fries were a little soggy. Nothing terrible though. We are definitely going back for sure.

Not bad at all. This was our first time going to Crafty Crab, and we thought it was going to be a hard sell because it replaced the old Red Lobster. They didn't open until noon, but we were going for lunch so it was okay. Though the chicken tenders were underwhelming, the seafood dish was delicious. Our waitress, Samantha, was nice, attentive, and non-invasive, which we genuinely appreciated.

We probably looked a little out of place compared to the other patrons in the place, but we were treated politely by staff. The service is still a little rough around the gills, but to be expected after only 10 days of dining service. We kind of expected the food to be the same, but were pleasantly surprised by the flavor, portion, and quality of the seafood. Check out the plump oysters! Highly recommend the Boom sauce, but don't choose mild. While we were there, we witnessed a dine and dash. Hopefully, things get better for the staff, but the food seems worth returning for.

It was alright. Nothing I'll rave about or crave for. Mediocre everything, including flavor and service. Had to search for our waiter for service and even for our bill.

This was my first visit and unfortunately it may be my only. The service and atmosphere was nice but the food left something to be desired. I ordered wings, half lemon pepper and half Cajun. The Cajun wings were fine but the lemon pepper wings were covered in a yellow seasoning with a taste equivalent to lemon pepper SALT. I ate one wing and had to chase it with a glass of water because it was so salty. I moved on to the crawfish next which lacked seasoning in the actual meat (but perhaps my taste buds were still dead from the salt). The potatoes, sausage, and corn were spot on though. The place was crowded so I assume many people find the food good.

I was excited to try this restaurant and went in with a pretty open mind. I was excited to see the new decoration and update from the last restaurant that was there. It was very fun and cool looking inside. The giant Jumbotron tv was pretty cool. I realize they are still training their staff, but our waiter was very disappointing. They were sweet as could be but disappeared for long periods of time and didn’t seem to know how to prioritize the tables they were dealing with. The food was good. One stand out thing to me was the cocktail sauce! So good! I even asked for extra but it never made it back to the table 🤷🏻‍♂️ the hush puppies were different in a good way. They were not your typical crunchy cornmeal-y kind, they were more soft bread like. The fried catfish was really good - especially with that cocktail sauce, omg. The fries were pretty standard. I thought the price almost matched the experience we had. I will give it another go and specifically ask for a different waiter.

Crafty Crab waaaaaassss, just ok. Not horrible but not a place I would visit again. The kiddos and I were curious and decided to give it a shot. We went during a shift change and after the lunch crowd. Sweet tea was too sweet, like literal sugar…. Not able to drink it so settled on a Topo Chico which is completely fine because I love those anyway. The food was ok. Nothing to write home about. Crispy fish, yet extremely thin and not a ton of meat.

1st Visit: Most servers are unmasked including our server, Will, who put on a mask after I asked him. Fried shrimp were cooked to perfection, but lacked flavor/seasoning. Oysters are more breading than oysters. Unfortunately, service is subpar when the restaurant is not full, so a full house may be a customer service nightmare. Empty cups, had to requests condiments from other servers, because couldn't find our server. Peach tea was delicious; strawberry lemonade tastes like Tampico daycare punch. Dirty dishes pilled up, no one removed them including our server. Boiled shrimp overcooked, mushy, and lukewarm after waiting extra time for them. A couple hushpuppies short of the full order. Sent those back. The 10 crawfish (1 lb) kids received were ok. If watching TV is a part of the servers job, they are excellent at it.

There were soo many empty clams without any meat in them, I had hopes they were at the bottom of the bag but they werent. I counted about 12 empty clam shells. Also I ordered a side of corn without any spice as seen on my receipt and the side of corn was still spicy. It was for my kid but he couldn’t eat it

Visited this location on a Saturday evening and it was so packed the wait time was an hour plus! Finally we were seated and the waitress took the order, repeated the order back, and still brought out the wrong thing. Once the tickets came out, the waitress put extra food on the table we never received! We talked to the manager and she corrected the issue, however I signed my receipt and left $0 tip due to all the mishaps! I checked my recent transactions and realized a $10 tip was added without my authorization! I wonder how many people they’ve done this to, this is a scam and it is unacceptable!

I ordered take-out from a staff member at the service counter on the evening of 3/24/2025. Having heard about tipping culture in the U.S. I added $10 to the $73 bill. I’m a U.S. citizen living overseas. The food came in two large sacks. I didn’t check anything. At the hotel I found one fork and no napkins for three people. I had to ask the desk clerk for utensils. He got a good chuckle, asking about my tip at the restaurant. He said it wasn’t enough, still laughing. The catfish, I mean the white flesh, could have been measured with a micrometer. I had two pieces and gave up. Fried batter is not an entree. My wife did the same. My son’s scallops were edible, he could finish them, I think only because he was famished. His onion rings were not finished because they were onionless! They were rings of empty batter. The utter look disappointment on his face is what moved me to spend the time to pen this review. He was, somehow able, though, to find a tiny fragment of an onion in the ring he bit into. It was his attempt at comic relief for a sad excuse for dinner. My wife’s gumbo was inedible due to the level of sodium. The temperature of the dish was only just above room temperature. Hard earned money wasted! What have I learned? Maybe restaurants decorated like a Disney attraction should be avoided. Pearland Crappy Crab should be avoided I simply cannot fathom how a positive review of this place can be considered legit.

Our waiter was GREAT! I hate that I don't recall her name. She was very detailed and attentive. The food was mediocre. The crawfish were overcooked and so were the shrimp. I should've known not to come in when I saw that they had a HEALTH INSPECTION GRADE OF 74! That's an "F" in my book. But nooooooooo my niece loves and raves about this place. (She goes Nowhere out of Pearland 🤷🏾‍♀️) I should've known. Turn it back to RED LOBSTER,at least the lobsters were seasoned and not rubbery.

I would love to tell you how the food was, but after arriving and being sat at a booth we never got served. Waited 30 minutes. My son really wanted to eat there. I saw servers at other tables. They look at us. I even got up to ask the host and they were no where to be found. No bartender either. Finally we gave up and left. They clearly didn’t want us there.

Came in on a non busy day, should have had the best service ever since the waitress we had only had a few table restaurant dam near empty. Ordered the large platter for 65.99 spicy with the boom flavor! Supposed to be all the flavors mixed together had 0 flavor not even a salty flavor just spicy and barely that. Never again terrible service and waste of hard earned money on some shit I had to take home and add seasonings too just to make it tolerable to eat. Won't be back or recommend anyone here not even someone I dislike

Received very poor service today . I ordered a half platter with shrimp and oysters . My food arrived without oysters , when I told my waitress she asked me to return five off the shrimp and she will replace it with oysters. I have never experienced such low vibrational service in my adult life. Very dissatisfied

We sat at a table for 20 minutes and no one ever came to serve us a young thin black girl with back piercing walked passed us repeatedly and never greeted us while waiting on all the tables around us. My significant other went to the host who sat us to voice our concerns and no one still came to wait on us. We decided to leave. This was very unacceptable and I’ve been to this establishment three times and I’ve never experienced such horrible service. Several waiters and waitresses walked pass our tables no one never even acknowledged us.

LIED ABOUT HAVING LIVE CRAWFISH - I only eat crawfish when they’re in season because I prefer live crawfish over frozen. So I made some calls to 5 or 6 crawfish spots to inquire whether they had live crawfish. All but crafty crab said, “no. “ So we arrive at crafty crab and I asked the waiter again if they had live crawfish and he said, “yes.” Well once I saw the bag I knew I was lied to. The crawfish was clearly frozen. I was so disappointed because why couldn’t they be honest like the 5 other restaurants that I called. I’m so off put by their policy to deceive that I do not recommend this establishment.

I really wish I could give zero stars! Staff rude and inconsiderate. Waited 30 mins before we asked if our waitress could come to our table. She never arrived. We just left and was given a sad and pathetic "I'm sorry" by who I can only assume is a hostess.

First time here. Lukewarm host greeting. Seated at back of restaurant. Sat at table for nearly 10min. Noone ever greeted the table. Did not wait for any further disappointments. Do not recommend.

I’m assuming the A/C needs Freon because my tippy toes are burning because it’s so hot. I’m still in here because I just got my food two hours later. And I can feel the steam from the boiler in the kitchen. I asked for a fan because I couldn’t help but notice that the staff have 2 fans blowing on them and my pits are sweating. I asked the manager wearing the race car jacket because he’s cold, if he could turn on the air. He said it’s too many ppl to cool. And the food was NASTY and I ordered Boom Fire and only got FIRE no Boom! Life is crazy….

This was my first time visiting Crafty Crab, and unfortunately it was a horrible experience from start to finish. When I walked in, there was loud music playing behind the bar with profanity in the lyrics, which is completely inappropriate especially at the front entrance where customers are waiting to be helped. I stood there waiting for service, and no one acknowledged me for several minutes. When a waitress finally came over, she ignored me and immediately started helping a woman who walked in after me to pick up an order. I politely mentioned that I was waiting, and another woman nearby even confirmed out loud that I was next. The waitress looked at me, ignored me, and continued helping the other customer anyway. I explained the situation to a manager who was sitting outside. She said she would speak to the employee, but nothing seemed to change, and nothing was resolved. There was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to correct the situation. This experience felt disrespectful, unprofessional, and poorly managed. For a first visit, this was extremely disappointing, and it does not reflect a welcoming or customer-focused environment at all. I will not be returning.

I tried to go on a weeknight. I waited what felt like forever to even be acknowledged. I finally sat myself in the bar area despite all the employees that walked past me. I then sat there for 10 minutes. No one even tried to wait on me. The worst service ever. I left and went to BB’s Tex Orleans and it was perfection.

Everyone in there wasn’t very friendly, our waitress was very quiet and rude, hardly came by the table to even check on us. We tried to ask another woman a question about the menu (since it was our first time there) and she pointed at our waitress and walked away. My husband’s food which was the fried oyster basket seemed to be old and refried, the oysters were powdery and crumbled in his hand like chalk. The onion rings were hard as well. We couldn’t even pay our ticket with our waitress because she walked to our table and threw the ticket down and walked away not saying anything. So we had to pay at the front which the man working the front said we weren’t supposed to. We will not be going back for sure.

Sweet Suite

We use to frequent this locations at least 3-4 times a month , after taking a break, we went back today and notice that they updated the menu. Our go to is the Large Seafood platter so we ordered it again today and immediately noticed that it was less food then usual for a higher price, the three of us would eat from that one bag and still have food to take home ( Not This Time )
