The pizza was so good and fresh. The guy at the coir was very patient very kind…I love this place will be going back
The guy at the counter was super friendly and cool. Pizza was hot and delicious. Get the sausage and pepperoni pie; it just looks fantastic. And tastes good, too
Honestly the best place to go I've gone here so many times and I've never been disappointed. The food is amazing and portions are great. The service is definitely the best I've ever seen. Definitely a must try!
This place is legit - good NY pizza. I grew up in the 5 boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, Manhattan) eating good NY pizzas. When I left NY, 2 things I missed the most are good bagels and pizzas. Marinara Pizza resolved one of them for me. Every time I have a pizza craving, I get my favorite from Marinara's - meatball pizza. I eat one large pie by myself :) and share the other with my kids (if they are around).
Being from Philly and living in Texas for the last 40 years, I would always go back to the NE in search of a really good pizza. Then we found Marinara's. This is the best crust and the most authentic NY style pizza I've had in TX. Love it and even tried the Brazilian and was pleasantly surprised. And they still have their own delivery drivers. Highly recommend.
This pizza was awesome! I went in just knowing I wanted some good pizza but unsure of which to get. And I wanted to try a Brazilian for the first time. This beautiful young lady, Petra, helped ease my indecision. She told me all the best recommendations based on what I liked. I ended up getting a half Brazilian (chicken w/a cheese sauce) and half Magherita. It was perfect and so glad she helped. Definitely will be going back. Well worth it.
I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and when I moved to Texas one of the things I missed was good tasting pizza… in fact whenever I visited NY I always ate pizza and if I had room in my bag I would bring back couple of slices.. I don’t have to bring back pizza from NY ANYMORE.. this pizzeria has definitely captured the local pizza taste of Brooklyn… especially when it’s extra crispy/well done! Try it if you like authentic Brooklyn pizza.
Marinara might just be the best NY Style Pizza in Collin County! I've only had their NY Style Pizza and can leave my review here. NY'ers that have moved to North Texas will reminisce about their favorite NY pizzeria while enjoying the piping hot, flavorful sauce and melted cheese on a thin dough that's freshly prepared and served (if you dine in) right to you. Everyone will enjoy the delicious taste of and understand what the hype over NY Style Pizza is all about!
This is an amazing Italian gem!! Family owned and operated! The price to food ratio is beyond belief!! $9 for a calzone that could feed three people!!! A pie supreme that can feed five people!!! For 20 bucks what??? Domino's can't do that. And every vegetable topping meat is Super fresh! If you want a pizza this is the place you want to order it from!! They also have some bread knots that I really wanted!! And you can get pizza by the slice! If you're looking for good pizza this is the place to go. Didn't try the pasta but I'm sure it's amazing as well! Thank you very much Marinara Pizza WE will be back!!! Put this on your want to go on your Google maps!!! Much love, Chris & Dave & Blue 💙💙💙
I ordered a gluten free deluxe pizza with ricotta. I was shock in how big the pizza was. Most places that do gluten free, it's a baby pizza (small). This was 14". The quality of the ingredients was spot on perfect. This was the best pizza I've ever had in my career of eating pizza. This made my day. I will be going back again soon.
I would give them 10 stars. I’ve only found 2 places that actually have NY pizza. One is Mimi’s in Dallas and the other is Marinara in Plano. After trying ever “NY pizza place” all others fail to actually deliver NY pizza. My first trip to marinara I got the eggplant parm. I’ve had almost every one in the area and reviewed most but the only place that actually tastes like Italian eggplant is Marinara. The others are decent imitations but Marinara is the real deal. The people are nice the place is nice. The delivery is excellent. I can’t recommend this place enough. The only thing I recommend is that they add an eggplant parm sub to the menu. That would make the place absolutely perfect I’d probably order it every day.
For years and years we been going here for high quality Italian food. This place never disappoints, even late at night. Pizza is true NY style and folds well. Stromboli and lasagna delicious favorites too. If I were to suggest changing anything about this place, it would be the old fashioned drink machine with just 6 options. I mean come on, Freestyle has been out for years now. Step up your beverage game!
Awesome tasting pizza with a superb crust. I normally skip eating the edge of pizza crusts, but Marinara's crust was just too tasty and soft to waste. The only downside was the uneven distribution of toppings...more care to the assembly of the pie is deserved. Garlic knots were great as well, but instead of being served with marinara sauce, I would have preferred if they were served swimming in garlic butter.
We were looking to try a new pizza place and one that was close to where we play basketball. Was not expecting a lot from this place as we’ve never heard from it but we were pleasantly surprised! Food: We got 2 slices of pizza. They were HUGE! It was like getting a medium pizza at other places. We got one slice of meat lovers and one slice of all the toppings. Both were delicious. The meat one seemed to have gyro meat and might even be Halal but either way it was delicious. We got it to go but it was still crispy when we got home. One of the best pizza slices I’ve had in a while. Way better than any pizza chain. Price: $3 a slice but it’s almost 2 large slices so it’s a really good deal. 2 slices is definitely enough for one person. Atmosphere: Small and cozy but it’s a typical pizza place in Dallas. It’s clean though. Inside is a little dark but perfect for a date! Service: The cashier was nice and the food came out in about 5 minutes. No complaints. Overall, We would come back here again and recommend to anyone looking for delicious pizza at great prices.
Really great pizza! One of my top 3 favorites I’ve ever had! The cheese and sauce don’t taste like they’re just store bought .. the sauce tastes homemade not sweet and not too savory, just right! The cheese tastes great and the crust isn’t thick and isn’t thin! I love it! The pizzas are huge!
Ordered a cheese pizza and chicken Alfredo to go. Asked for a aluminum to go container because I didn’t want it to get cold. Let them know I had my dog with me and they offered me a cup for some water for him. They brought it out to my car and everything when it was done. Got home the pizza was very good and the crust was just right. The pasta, was decent although it was a little odd they didn’t cut up the chicken it was just a long piece of chicken sitting atop the pasta that we had to cut up. But the service was great and the food was good.
So I decided to take my family here. It was completely dead. We place our order and ordered fountain drinks. My daughter kept saying all the drinks tasted weird. As I went forth coca cola I see film hanging from the spout. I removed it and let the guy know. I wish I took a picture bit it was disappointing. I asked for can drinks and he allowed it. We ordered knots, pep. Pizza, baked ziti, and chix parm with meat sauce. The knots were drowned in herbs. The pizza was fresh and was actually pretty good. Baked ziti was rigatoni pasta, also decent, but for a place called marinara it seems a bit underwhelming. Also the pizza boxes were store on the floor...
Absolutely horrible. Pizza was mostly crust, skimpy with toppings and was undercooked with nothing in the middle being solid and everything falling off and messy. Taste was bland and with only the rare topping bearing any flavor. $20 for garbage. One of the unfortunately many places that demands a tip BEFORE you get your order, and I begrudgingly gave a tip and still received unsatisfactory service and food. Tried to get the staff attention on something and was ignored. Place is dirty and not cleaned up after others. Never go to this place.
This place has gone down hill since I first reviewed. The quality of their food has fallen off. The staff are pushy and don't fill the customers needs. They are also never in the front of the restaurant when you need them. And the restaurant itself keeps getting worse and worse. Drinks don't work. Silverware just left wet in a bucket next to where it's supposed to be. They don't have proper change so you are forced to tip them. I used to come here once a week with my son. We slowed down because of the food quality. But now? I probably won't be back.
