Such a great time! Robby was our server last night and he was excellent! We always had what we needed. He had great attention to detail and he worked so hard to make sure we were taken care of an all of his other tables! Food was perfect as usual! So yummy! We all left full and satisfied!

I stopped by Chuy’s for lunch and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the chicken carbon tacos with chips, and it turned out to be the perfect meal for the afternoon. The chicken was flavorful and tender, wrapped just right, and the chips were fresh and crisp — great for dipping while waiting for the main plate. The portion size was satisfying without being too heavy, making it an ideal midday meal. The laid-back Tex-Mex vibe of Chuy’s paired perfectly with the food. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for anyone craving a tasty, casual Tex-Mex lunch.

Wow, that was really something. Carlos did a great job taking care of my partner and I. I didn’t get a photo before I ate, but this photo should provide an answer in the “but did it taste good?” question. Yes. It was very good. Regret being hesitant to check this spot out. Will be revisiting in the future :3

They’re chimichangas is to die for. For reasons unknown they put the queso on the bottom so I asked for extra to douse it with. Delicious fresh filling Mexican food. The service was OK. The facility was clean. The chips and salsa were a standout. The chicken nachos you cannot go wrong with for the table. Elvis Presley special feeds two.

Chuy's is a great, affordable spot to grab Tex-Mex. Arrived at 7:15 on a Tuesday night. Wait time was 20 mins and they'll text you when your table is ready. My date and I opted to sit at the bar instead. We were immediately greeted and very quickly served chips, salsa and drinks. Bartender was very attentive and provided stellar service, especially with my soda refills (done before my glass was empty). We had the flautas and chicken tacos al carbon. Portion sizes were excellent and all the food was delicious (as always). The strips of chicken in the tacos were thick and so juicy.

Ask for Kenny as your server. He was absolutely amazing and provided top notch service for my mom and I. The guacamole bacon bites are my favorite if they are making them. We had the fajitas for two and could barely put a dent into the shared meal. Chips and salsa are super fresh.

I enjoy their tacos and enchiladas. The nachos are also a big hit. Make sure to get queso and the creamy white sauce with your salsa. Don't forget their Happy Hour and queso!

Usually when I go to Chuy’s I get the Chuychonga, enchiladas, tacos etc. All those type of dishes are good but never great, only average. Today I got the steak fajitas and they were better than your average fajitas you get at a lot of places. They aren’t as good as the fajitas you get @ Matitos or Papasitos, but still pretty close. So if you do go there try them out, most people would be very happy with them I think.

Food is average. Portion size is inconsistent, with food items being different sizes each time you order them. Service is always great. Atmosphere is ok, music is too loud, hard to hear the server and vice versa.

Their chips and salsa is awesome...food is pretty large portions and everyone liked their order. Their sweet teas were great. It was very crowded when we went, which is usually a good sign. However, someone with a wheelchair would have difficult time getting through to the bathrooms. It was our first time at a Chuy's and we'll be back again for the good food and reasonable prices.

First off I do love Chuy's food. I'm not sure if it is just this location or if the person who prepared the salsa was off that day with the recipe. I stopped to get a to-go order of regular salsa and jalapeno salsa. The jalapeno was great but the regular salsa looked to be honest like puke. And it also tasted different. I tried to eat it. I just couldn't do it.The look turned me off. So I've learned should always look at your order before leaving. I am going to post a pic but the pic doesn't really show how terrible it really looks. Hope this isn't a change in y'all's recipe or anything.

Food was great, service was decent until we overheard our server Zakahra ask another server if they could ask us to leave because we had been there too long. Was there with my sisters and niece I hadn’t seen in months. We were there for about 2 hours and saw plenty of other open tables. It has been a long time since I have been to a Mexican restaurant that serves ice cold salsa with their chips. The salsa was tasty though, but it was the only thing with any flavor. I went simple and just got crunchy tacos. They looked great. The meat had no noticeable seasoning at all. The rice and beans were also devoid of any noticeable seasoning. My girlfriends shrimp tacos were bland as well, and did not sit well on her stomach later that night. My margarita was decent though. We walked in 50 minutes before closing and ordered asap. Usually mexican food is quick so I did not think it was too late to come in. The server was not attentive at all and was cleaning up around us the whole time. I get that they are trying to clean up, but after feeling rushed the whole meal we then had to track her down for the check.

The place was nice, our waitress was spot on, but the food, it was so bland, I had to drown my flautas in the cheese sauce I ordered. It was not Mexican food. Everything was so bland, it all tasted like nothing. When I left my stomach was killing me, I’ll never ever go back.

My husband and I went to Chuy’s for a date night last week, and unfortunately it was not the experience we’re used to. This was surprising because we normally enjoy this location and visit about once a month. We arrived around 4:30 PM and ordered queso and one meal to split (because, let’s be honest, chips and dip fill you up fast). We were enjoying our conversation and lost track of time, but close to 6:00 PM we realized we still had not received our meal. At that point, people who arrived after us had already eaten and left. We ended up canceling our food. The manager did step in, apologized, and made it right by giving us a certificate for two meals, an appetizer, and a dessert, which we appreciated. We decided to return today and use the certificate. The food came out quickly this time, which was great. However, I made the mistake of mentioning the certificate before we finished our meal instead of after. Once our server found out, his attitude completely changed. He became very dismissive, no responses when we said thank you for refills, no acknowledgment when I asked (politely) for extra napkins, just dropped them off without a word. At the end, when I asked for the check, he said, “Oh, your certificate covered everything except a tip.” The way it was said felt rude and uncomfortable. I come from a family in the service industry and I always tip well, regardless of circumstances. I still left a $20 tip, but honestly, the service did not reflect that level of gratuity. To make matters worse, I went to the restroom and there was NO SOAP. That is extremely concerning, how are employees washing their hands and handling food without soap? And to top it off, about 40 minutes after leaving, we became sick, which makes the experience even more disappointing. We absolutely love Chuy’s and always have, but this was a letdown from start to finish. Moving forward, we will not be returning to the Plano location. If we decide to go back to Chuy’s, we’ll be driving to a different one.

Just dinning in here. Most rude server i have ever met in my life. They served drinks without straws. When asked for straws she frowned. When i asked her to make my veg enchilada without mushroom she said its pre made. When i have come previously and they were able to accommodate me. Will never come here again when i have so many other options in Plano.
