Delicious! Server Delina was very friendly and service was fast. Good choice of sides and generous portions. Brisket was tender and flavor was great. Highly recommend coming here. Don’t be shy because it’s in a grocery store, it’s great BBQ!

This is the second year in a row that we bought brisket and a whole bunch of sides for Thanksgiving. Courtney has been there both years and is so on top of it. She even remembers us and our orders by name. Great customer service, they triple check that you have everything before they send you off. It's an efficient machine in there on Thanksgiving. We love it! Courtney is awesome.

Thank you HEB TX BBQ here at Plano. I came back for a second time to enjoy this delicious bbq and the manager and owner took care of me and my food was very good. Brisket nachos and baked potato. I will come back and try the sandwiches next time. I had no idea there was a drive through until this week. I will be back thank you for great customer service and very good bbq. Happy thanksgiving.

We ordered some really tasty potatoes loaded with meat and cheese, as well as a sandwich with sausage and pickles. It was delicious. If you come here, I definitely recommend trying these potatoes with meat. They're amazing. They're the most delicious potatoes with meat I've ever had. Our bill for two was $21.

Let me clear some shit up right now, stop hating on this place. I ordered a 2 meat plate with 2 sides. Oh my god the food was plentiful and delicious. St.Louise ribs were good size and tender, Brisket was A-1 you actually taste the smoke in this meat and the seasoning and the sauce. Let me say you can taste the love. Give them they ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sorry about pick had to get it in and it’s gone LOL

I’ve never been here before and didn’t know that it was part of HEB, but it was………..interesting, to say the least. Service was very friendly, the atmosphere looks great, and the food was……………..ok. I was truly hoping for something more akin to Famous Dave’s which I DEEPLY hope will expand to the Frisco/Plano/The Colony/McKinney/Allen areas. The soda was sadly not as cool which is a let down. The chicken tenders were a little too tough to bite into and while the meat tasted ok at best it had a strong aftertaste that isn’t the greatest. I honestly think they need to lighten up on the seasoning, make the meat softer, and add more breading to it. The fries are the best of the 3 but they need to make it juicer. They’re potato wedges which sadly I don’t see offered as often but they had this tornado shape to it which I’ve never seen. I told the employee that I’d honestly would rename the Potato Twisters which I think perfect describes these fries. Overall, it was alright. It’s not the greatest but it’s definitely not among the worst. I’d say check it out if you’re curious.

We have been to the HEB bbq at another location which was clean and nice. At 215pm on a Thursday more than half the tables were open and all of them dirty and sticky. The sliced Brisket and burnt ends were very good. The slaw and potato salad not my favorite. The only bbq sauce they offered me had a really bad flavor. I will not be back to this location.

This was the first time I've had this place, and to be honest for "fast food BBQ" it's the best we've had in the 5 months we've been in Texas. We didn't care for the brisket beans, too runny and the flavor was ok. The potato salad was good and I enjoyed the sausage. The Sauced brisket was a little over done as it had overly crispy pieces. All in all I would definitely eat here again, which is SO much more than I can say for other BBQ places we've tried in the Richardson/Plano area! The service was friendly and honest.

The BBQ was really good. I got a pulled pork sandwich. The customer service was good as well. The sides are not good. I got the coleslaw and it had too much mayo. I swapped it the greens and they tasted like they were directly out of a can. The banana pudding didn’t …really taste like banana pudding. It was kind of a sugary mess.

Unacceptable Service!!! Called the restaurant to make a to-go order, was told to use True Texas BBQ App, not able to find App so used my Seemless App, email from App said food would be ready from 2:15-2:25PM.. drove to TrueTexasBBQ drive thru around 2:15, waited 10 min for car in front of me to finish, showed attendant (named Rob) my email confirming my order info, Rob informed me that order had not been placed so had to wait another 10 minutes, asked to talk to Manager, told that Manager not available, asked for coupon or gift card to make up for my time and difficulty, told by Rob that 'It is what it is'. Am Very Disappointed!!!

No star for service. It seems there's no training for new employees, or no manager here?! I ordered today a smoked turkey sandwich with onions & pickles and a small cup of brisket beans to go. It took about 7 or 8 minutes for a trainee and 4 staffs to complete my order plus many same answers to the same questions. When my order came, it wasn't bagged and I had to request a bag for it. When I opened the sandwich at home, nowhere onions and pickles could be found. And the beans was just a quarter cup filled!! Awful experience 😠

I was trying to have a really good review because it does smelll good from out in the store. I was disappointed. Brisket is greasy. Didn't have roasted chicken. Didn't offer BBQ sauce so I ate it dry. Which not a terrible thing. Food is average. Not worth $25.00 for two meat. They pepper their ribs to spicy. Its just ok. Nothing worth going out of way for.

Ordered burnt ends with bread, sauce, and double onions through their app. Got home — no bread, no sauce. Called them, and the solution was to drive back because “we don’t charge for that.” The “double onions” turned out to be a few slices thrown in with the pickles. Guess I should be glad they didn’t hand me raw meat — after all, they didn’t charge me for the cooking either. App deleted. Not coming back.
