Ambiance is fantastic making it a great spot for date night, a business dinner or socializing with the girls over cocktails or mocktails, celebrating a birthday or anniversary... I came in with a friend to share an appetizer at the bar. It was a weeknight but the place was packed! Vibe was great. Bartender was friendly and super attentive. We had the Spicy Salmon Crispy Rice. It was good but not great. We agreed it wasn't spicy enough to have "spicy" in it's name. The menus illuminate when you open them which was a fun touch. I look forward to going back for an entree.

My husband took me here for my birthday and let me tell you it was the best dine-in experience i’ve ever had! Upon arrival, they had a birthday card on our table which had personalized wishes from the staff on the inside! The food was outstanding! Our server was exceptional! They even got me a free of charge, special cake at the end of my dinner to finish our experience off! My husband received a phone call the next day from the staff who wished me once again and said that they can’t wait for us to come back! This whole experience is truly incredible! The dinner experience last night was truly remarkable. Drew, our server, delivered outstanding service. The seafood restaurant successfully promoted their wide range of seafood items. The drinks were potent and expertly crafted. The 8OZ filet mignon steak my friend ordered was excellent, and the salmon with crab I had was delicious. The baked Alaska dessert was one of my favorites, featuring a mix of ice cream and chocolate, and the presentation was impressive, complete with a fire element. It had been almost 8 years since my last visit to Truluck, and I was pleased to find that the quality of the food remains high. If you're in the mood for seafood, don't miss the bread, which was incredibly good and hard to resist. This was my friend's first time trying salmon, and he thoroughly enjoyed it. We will definitely return and highly recommend Drew as a server.

This may be the perfect restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. The service was top notch. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The food was amazing. I loved everything that we ordered. We started off with freshly shucked oysters. They were plump and supple with a briny, but not salty finish. Next we enjoyed the crab cake and the Parker house rolls. The crab cake was nicely seared and served with a fresh tartar sauce. The Parker house rolls were soooo soft and topped with some shredded Parmesan cheese. The rolls were our favorite. We shared the ribeye and lobster thermidor, both great. The ribeye was cooked perfectly rare and was drowning in butter. The au gratin potatoes were incredible, with great baked potato vibes. The crab mac & cheese was loaded with crab and had a silky cheese sauce. Even though we were stuffed by dessert we had to try the peach bread pudding, it was delicious! I highly recommend Truluck's and we will definitely be regular customers!

Spent my birthday here- a little surprise dinner with family and friends. The atmosphere was amazing! Very elevated and chic. I've eaten at many restaurants at this same level, and this was one of the best! Service was absolutely excellent! They went above and beyond to make my birthday special. The hostess, the waiter, the manager wished me a happy birthday. I had a card signed by the staff, there was confetti on my table, and a bday message on my dessert! We weren't rushed and they were even great with my children. The scallops were wonderful! Steak was cooked perfectly, lobster nac and cheese was perfect and the bread was loved by everyone. Oh, and the oysters were very clean, tasted fresh and the champagne sauce was delightful. It was expensive, but absolutely worth the experience and the food. We will return.

Great ambiance and service. The food here is always top notch, great seafood cooked to perfection, served with tasty side dish. Key lime pie was delicious. And if you come on your birthday, you'll receive a Baked Alaska (ice cream cake covered in toasted meringue) compliments from the chef.

We had an amazing experience on Saturday night celebrating my wife's birthday at Truluck’s Restaurant in Legacy. Our table was perfect (comfortable booth). The lighting/ambiance is very relaxing. Our server, Jordan, was super friendly and attentive. They gave my wife a birthday card and special dessert along with a shawl (which they provide if you ask). All the food was OUTSTANDING!! The Parmesan bread was out of this world! Crab cakes were full of lump crab with a great sauce (and I'm generally not fond of remoulade). The crab fried rice was excellent. My wife loved the salmon dish. I ordered the trout dish and was totally satisfied! We both brought home leftovers as portions are good sizes. And we took our time… spending almost 3 hours enjoying drinks at the bar and dinner. This was our first visit and we will definitely go back. If you’re local, plan a visit for your next special occasion!

Had dinner with family and close friends. What a good experience. Our server, Cree, I believe was great. Good recommendations on wines and adding some surf to our turf. Ordered so many things. Ribeye steaks were delicious. The stone crab claws, oyster and jumbo shrimp were delicious. They also have happy hour until 6pm. Highly recommend this place for fantastic seafood and service. Sticker shock, it’s not cheap.

We love dining at the Plano Trulucksi! The atmosphere, service and food are all top notch. Special shout-out to the 2 best servers ever...Drew & Chosen. These guys are great and it is always a pleasure seeing them.

Came here for my husbands birthday and we were both blown away. The decor was stunning, our waitress Dhani was so kind, and all the food we ordered was absolutely delicious. We can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu!

This was our first time dining at Trulucks. To say we enjoyed ourselves is an understatement. Customer service was excellent from a warm welcome to wonderful service provided by Eric, and great conversation with Ali, the manager. The food was delicious. We began with a flavorful crab cake and then, we had a fresh tasting lobster bisque. Next, we savored every bite of the sea bass with crab fried rice and concluded with an amazing baked Alaska. The ambience was beautiful. We definitely plan to dine here again. I highly recommend Trulucks!

The king trout was one of the better if not the best meal I have ever eaten. Service was very quick and interactive. Cre is very kind and did not point us in the wrong direction. The tartare was phenomenal along with the calamari. All around, this was a mean I will not soon forget. 10/10

Another amazing visit! The service Eric provides is top-tier, on point, anticipatory, and full of great suggestions. He was the exact same as my first time visiting this location, so glad we were able to have him again. The lobster bao buns were so yummy, the drinks were delicious, and the food never disappoints. The king crab with lemon butter, crab-stuffed lobster and lobster thermidor were all chef’s kiss. Already thinking about my next visit.

This place was incredible. I've been to the other Truluck's, but this one is on a whole different level. Gilbert our waiter had the entire menu memorized and made my girlfriend and me laugh for five hours. I ordered like half the menu too! We went on Christmas eve, and everything was so beautiful with the Christmas tree outside and the lights! What outstanding scenery!! Please tell the managers of that area of Shops of Legacy to get that theater open again! They need to lower rent so businesses can come back soon! Turn it into a dinner theater or something, or just bring the Angelika back! I was told they might come back if the rent goes down. Anyway, I want Truluck's to stay there for a long time! Thank you again!

We had a fantastic happy hour experience at Truluck's. Sitting at the bar, we were greeted by a friendly and knowledgeable bartender who offered excellent drink and food recommendations. This personalized service is always appreciated, especially for newcomers. We were also pleased to find glasses of water waiting for us upon arrival, a thoughtful touch often overlooked. The drinks were top-notch. The 'Smoke in the Garden' Mezcal cocktail was smoky yet refreshing, while the 'Rum Fashioned' was a delightful surprise – a well-crafted twist on the classic. The appetizers were good but not exceptional. Suggestion: Adding appetizer specials to the happy hour menu would significantly enhance the experience. A special note: The bathrooms were exceptionally clean and stylish, rivaling those of a high-end hotel. Overall, I highly recommend Truluck's for a sophisticated and enjoyable happy hour.

I really loved this restaurant and often recommended it to other, but I don't think that will be the case anymore. On 4/17/25 I and 3 other guest dined in Mo's section. Mo was amazing. However, when the mains came out my medium rare steak was well done, creamed spinach cold and shrimp & scallop saute came out cold. We sent those items back. Nick was apologetic and sent over crab claws for the two us, but we really just wanted our food prepared properly. Again my steak came out wrong. Medium instead of Medium rare. I asked Nick if this what they consider medium rare. His response is "just try it and see if you like it. Then walks away. When I'm paying around $58 for a piece of meat it needs to be prepared the way I ask. That steak should have came out a lot more red and less pink. I added a picture of a medium rare steak for reference if there's any confusion in the future.
