I wanted to come on here to say: I visited this restaurant when I was 16 years old on a birthday trip from Texas with my mom. I am now 30 & I haven’t been back, but I still think about the Arroz con Pollo & crave it all the time!! My mom’s Boss recommended it & used to visit in the 2000’s when they came for market. I will make it back one day!!
How do describe the VERY BEST! Sevilla is a historical part of the neighborhood. It has maintained its level excellence in service and food for decades. The atmosphere is so welcoming and if you will soon feel like family. The food is AMAZING!!!
Can't beat a dinner at Sevilla. Get a pitcher of sangria, get some appetizers, and get at least one entree of either the shrimp ajillo or shrimp with green sauce. This is the place you bring friends and they find a new restaurant they love for life.
Very pleasant friendly staff full of personality! Food came out hot & delicious, seasoned to perfection! Would definitely go again! A must go to restaurant!!
We have been coming here since 1982! Most recently, we brought along two guests from out of town and they loved it too. We haven't found better paella and mariscada anywhere. The atmosphere has not changed much over the years; it's old fashioned decor is part of the charm of the place.
We were lucky to snag a table on Halloween night, it was so festive. This place has been around forever, and you can feel the old-world Spanish charm in the décor. The food is still as consistent as ever. The paella marinara with lobster is so good, and the shrimp in garlic sauce was superb. The little calderos they serve the dishes in look original—dented in all the right places from years of use, which adds to the charm. Service was okay, could’ve been better, but it was a busy night. Overall, a classic spot that still delivers.
Had a great night tonight at Sevilla. We had a large party (with reservations) and had a great time. Drinks were amazing and the food was good, but the service was outstanding. They were conscientious about some allergies at the table, very kind, and on top of things. Highly recommend if you want a nice experience with good food and drinks.
Nice spot with tasty food and a pleasant atmosphere. The service was decent — polite and efficient, though not outstanding. Prices are fair. We had the Mariscada with Egg Sauce (mixed seafood in a cream sauce) — it was delicious! We also tried the octopus, and honestly, it was the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The only things I’d suggest are removing the TV, as it doesn’t really match the restaurant’s vibe, and turning the music up just a bit to create a cozier ambiance. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it.
Old world charm at this family owned restaurant. Owner greeted us upon arrival. We had the grilled calamari and octopus appetizers. Both very tender, esp the octopus. We ordered 3 more entrees. All shared between the 4 of us. Our entrees are Paella Valenciana, Shrimp with parsley and olive oil, and Veal Sevilla. Everything was fantastic and tasty. House salad was complimentary.
Very attention, intimate dinning experience. Had chorizo appetizer to start and shrimp in garlic sauce for dinner. My wife had the sirloin which I kept stealing and dipping in my garlic shrimp sauce. Drinks were nice and strong. The waitstaff is very attentive. Highly recommended restaurant. Forgot to post dessert but got the cappuccino and vanilla custard for dessert.
It was my first time here, but it won't be my last. This was a delight to come to this restaurant. The food was so good that those flavors were like a treat to your tongue palates. The food is next level flavors. I had the Seafood Paella, and it was one of the best I've had in my time. The Seafood Ajillo rice was also a big hit. Steaks cooked to your liking. The food portions are very good The red sangria just added more goodness to my visit. It was such a hit that we got another one, just because one pitcher was not enough. Staff was on point. They were very friendly and attentive, not just to my group, but I also took notice that other guests received the same service as well. My only concern was that the booth was a bit tight for my group of 4 adults and 1 teenager. This restaurant is highly recommended to anyone.
I was really excited about this place and thought I would love it. The atmosphere is good- nice music, old movie on the tv, staff wearing matching vests, booth seating and a nice bar. Unfortunately steak was overcooked and quite dry/bland and the service was bad. Nobody asked me how anything was and I was hardly spoken to at all. Only because I was very hungry I ate half my sirloin but needed steak sauce.
Place is packed on a Friday night. Quite boisterous. Clean and new bathrooms. Small bar to wait or just have a beverage. Food is ok. A lot of it needs salt. The croquettes and chorizo is good. The paella is not what one expects and needs salt. The chicken was old but the seafood and sausage was good. Chocolate cake was SO good. The vanilla and cream thing was a poor man’s crème brulee without the hard coat. Meh. The waiters do a good job of singing happy birthday. The service we received was fine, no complaints. Service
Easter dinner with my husband, the staff welcomed us with a friendly smile. We asked if the sangria was made by the house bartender not the box one . Very disappointed with the quality that we got. Our first tapas was the grill octopus that was so salty very hard to finish. Must say the texture was perfect. Scallops was our second choice with garlic taste was good presentation not to appealing. Empanadillas over fried/ cod . Desert choice flan pleasant not sugary . Not the best spaniel restaurant. Expresso is good 👍
Friendly service and a fun, rustic feel to the restaurant. But the food was quite underwhelming. The bread was cold, the butter came in sealed packages you'd get from the grocery store (also served cold), and the paella was salty to the extent that we couldn't finish a single portion as a party of 2. Overall - not worth the price (over $175 for 2 appetizers, 1 shared main, and 3 beers, and 1 soda).
First time here after my friend was hyping it up. He and his family have been coming here for over 25 years so I was pretty excited. We were promptly sat down but one of the water glasses had old caked on lipstick. Informed the waiter who apologized and brought a new glass. Makes you think about how clean the glasses are as well as quality control. My chicken villaroy was overcooked and the rice it came with was dry and bland. My friends enjoyed their meal at least but they agreed that my meal was bad. Informed the manager who claims he is not a manager about the issues before we paid and he took off my meal from the check at least. The atmosphere is chaotic. Its a small packed place and with so many conversations happening at once there were times were I could not hear my friends across the table. Getting to the restroom you have to squeeze between tables. I did enjoy the bread, salad and the appetizers we got.
