Tried Danny's Grill for the first time today-it was excellent, staff are very professional and friendly, our takeout food was packed up really well and still hot when we got home and it was all delicious!! Had the ribs and chicken with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese-we enjoyed everything very much!

For the price, the food was totally worth it. I got the rack of ribs with two sides for $32+ and the ribs were so tender and juicy! The flavoring was on point! It has since changed my mind about getting ribs since I usually stick to chicken only. Got myself some mash potatoes, sweet corn and Mac and cheese for sides and it was delicious! The accept cash, and card which is awesome and they do delivery as well. Definitely will be coming back for more!

Yesterday evening my wife and I went to Danny’s Grill for our first time. We picked up our order and we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered a Whole Rack of Ribs, Whole Chicken and a few various side dishes. At first I thought the Ribs would have been either on the spicy side or too sweet. But it wasn’t either. These ribs were delicious!!! They were a good size, meaty, tender and the sauce was excellent! The chicken was cooked perfect and the seasoning was great. We will be definitely going back. Love this place.

Just had a "too good to go" meal here. What a great deal. Delicious yellow rice, BBQ chicken and ribs. Ribs falling off the bone. Did I mention sweet potatoes? All great and they filled the container.

We have order few things including chicken, hamburger and shrimp, they are obviously delicious. Highly recommend this place and especially Chicken it is grilled just on the point.

We did take out on the way home. I enjoyed the spare ribs, while the kids loved the rice, potatoes, and mashed potatoes. They were friendly and gave us a generous portion. I would stop there again for their lunch special.

This place was a godsend to the neighborhood.. I first visited Danny's Grill the first week they were open and all my taste buds just exploded... The ribs were as good as any 5 star restaurant anywhere.... Melts in your mouth.. The sides are to die for.. My favorites have to be the corn,red potatoes and the best macaroni and cheese I've ever had.. Lots more sides that are delicious as well.. Very clean place and very good staff. The grilled chicken is very tasty! The sides are home made, and very good! They have a special which includes a free drink too! Overall I highly recommend this place. The barbacue sauce, and honey mustard is good. The prices are very reasonable too!

Just ordered for the first time today for the whole family and they all loved the ribs and the chicken! Ribs are juicy and saucy. Chicken was great too! The sides were delicious too.

I'm being generous and giving 5 stars because the food was delicious and I want to support this new business. Here is where you can improve: try greeting your customers. It was my first time there and I stood there for about 8 minutes until I said something. Everyone behind the counter was busy putting together orders and the phone seemed to be blowing up but don't ignore in person customers. I will be back because the food is on point. Hopefully staff gets a little friendlier.

This place was great! I ordered the mixed (chicken and lamb) bowl. It had pico de gallo as the vegetable with some pickled onions. They had an assortment of sauces. I went with "white" sauce, avocado cilantro sauce and some hot sauce. The portions were great! I felt very full afterwards. Definitely hit the spot and will be going again.

Great food, can't stress how good the quality was and the price. Service was fast, I've been ordering every day for the construction crew to the point everyone keeps wanting to order again. This is now a favorite spot for BBQ.

My goodness what to say. This place is delicious. I dont bother with the sides as i found them to be basic. You go here for chicken and ribs and green sauce. The sauce is really where it’s at. It took a considerable amount of time for us to get our dish from a TooGoodToGo order, but the other customers seemed to get it much quicker, so it's probably just the TGTG that made it a bit slower. Overall I really like the atmosphere, pretty good sanitization and they have loads and loads of soft drinks :p I love the place.

I always ordered the same thing (whole chicken family meal) so my review here is solely based on this.. and I love their chicken! The order came with sides, a pita bread (which is nice) and the always juicy and flavorful chicken. So far I haven’t had an over cooked piece yet; and even if it gets close to it, the green sauce that it comes with would save it. I personally don’t like spicy, so the green sauce here is my gem (oppose to other places’ green sauce always have a hint of spiciness). But that’s my personal preference. I can’t say much about atmosphere or service as you order like at any fast food chain and u take your food to sit down or head out. Usually wait time is about 15-20min for chicken, so I see a lot of people order ahead too.

Good food! No.....actually. AMAZING FOOD. I've never had a chicken breast as juicy as Danny's! The skewers, ahhhhahahah, forget it! Don't buy just one skewer because you'll waste gas going back to get another ! We used to just get the left overs but we had to just buy regular too to support them more whenever we can. I don't eat pork but my wife loves the ribs and has to get a tray just for the kids.

I ordered from the too good to go app and I never had or heard of Danny’s grill I live 30 minutes away on the other side of town and I must say it was worth the travel it was delish I had the chicken and rib with two sides green sauce and pita bread chefs kiss 10 outta 10 and I got burgers and fries for my kids they enjoyed as well I will be a returning customer whether to go app or not Ty Danny’s grill very delicious and professional 👌🏾

Danny’s Grill is my go to spot when I’m craving well cooked ribs and not dry chicken. The food is consistently delicious, and there’s a solid variety of options to choose from. My usual order is the whole chicken and a full rack of ribs with four sides. I find that it’s the perfect combo if you’re hungry or sharing. The meats are all cooked over an open flame grill so you get the smokey grilled flavor. The mac and cheese is always cheesy and the “roasted” potatoes are seasoned well and soft, easily two of my favorite sides. The real standout is the green sauce. I don’t know what it’s really called or what’s in it, but it’s super flavorful and goes with everything. When I say I put it in everything, I put that on everything. The atmosphere is extremely casual inside, and the service is pretty decent. Staff is friendly and efficient. Just note that seating inside is limited, so if you’re with a group or going during peak hours, be prepared to wait or consider takeout. If you’re looking for hearty, flavorful food with generous portions, Danny’s Grill definitely hits the mark.

A nice Boston Market-like small business. They serve grill chicken and BBQ ribs along with other common hot food items like burgers and sandwiches. Pretty clean and neat place with several tables for seating. Price is slightly higher than average but portion is big. Food is delicious. Service was great and quick.

Food is ok... they have improved their salty instant mash potatoes. It's a last resort type of place for me.

Today I tried their butterfly shrimp. They were nicely breaded and fried. The shrimp were a nice size and they give a good portion. I feel that the shrimp could’ve used some seasoning and or a lemon wedge at least. They were breaded but I didn’t taste anything. Thank God I had tartar sauce at home because they didn’t give me any. I should have asked. Even though they fell short on seasoning the shrimp, I would buy them again if I were in the mood for fried shrimp.

Update: They have a new menu addition. It’s Chinese skewers. I no longer need to go to flushing for skewers. They have a good variety. But to be honest, it needs some more flavor. The price is good. But this menu addition is new. Hopefully as they progress, the flavor will change for the better. By the way, the skewer menu starts at 6:00 pm. I think the food is great and the variety is good. The chicken and ribs has that nice charred taste. The chicken tenders are HUGE. The cashier said “it’s not that big.” It’s generously large pieces. The 1/4 pound burger was good too, had a nice charred taste to it. Honest opinion, it’s like Chicken lover’s on Northern Blvd, but with more options. If Danny’s grill is reading this, make your macaroni and cheese a little creamier. And it’ll be perfect. A little more vegetable options would be nice too. Grilled zucchini & carrots maybe? I order $5.99 Too good to go bento box. It contains a lot. I can say this is really a good value. But at the same time, don’t expect too much on the taste. There are 6-7 ribs, but some ribs are chewy. BBQ sauce won’t be very sweet. Overall 4 stars for the food.

To be fair, I ordered through an app called Too Good To Go, which is basically a surprise bag of food at great prices. If you're not familiar with the app, please do check it out. I received a heaping portion of mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, a few ribs and part of a breast of grilled chicken. I really enjoyed the sweet potatoes, but the mashed potatoes tasted like instant. The chicken was nicely grilled and the ribs were very tender and flavorful. I did have to wait a bit, the restaurant wasn't really crowded, just 3 other people besides myself waiting for orders. I was looking forward to tasting the Mac and cheese, which perhaps I'll go back and order that and other menu items. I'd say, it's worth a try instead of fast drive through food, I would just say skip the mashed potatoes and go for the sweet potatoes.

Food was okay, the sides seem really lazy. Mashed potatoes from a box, under seasoned rice, not much bbq sauce on ribs. Best part was the green sauce they give on the side.

I don’t know what all the fuss is about. Just because there’s a new restaurant does not mean it’s gonna automatically be 5 stars all the way. There are almost always restaurants popping up, and even if it’s not a full restaurant, it’s still a food place. I ordered delivery, and it was earlier than I expected. I guess their driver doesn’t take their time and is pretty efficient. I ordered the family size half chicken half ribs, with a side of macaroni and cheese and a side of mashed potatoes. The chicken was average, I mean, you could get the same at the local supermarket around here, so don’t expect much, maybe a little less drier here than at the supermarket, but the taste is about the same. For the ribs, when you take away the sauce, then it’s pretty okay, not something to go ‘wow’ over and want to try again several more times. The ribs are not something that can be eaten often, unless you are a active person. The chicken though, you could have for lunch or dinner a few times a week while pairing it with some sides of veggies and whole grain, then it’s good to go. Now, on to the sides. The mac an’ cheese can be better, kind of disappointed with it. The mashed potatoes, I personally didn’t try it, it did not look tasty, and my mom tried it, but did not like it.

I order the family meal whole chicken and whole ribs. With the side order of rice, mac and cheese, corn and coleslaw. I would have given 5 star, if not for the coleslaw. The coleslaw was almost spoiled. We had to throw it away. The corn was bland and little hard to chew. Beside that the meal was perfect. The rice was freshly made when I order and it went perfect with the chicken. The chicken and the ribs were one of the best I tasted. I would definitely visit again. I would skip the slaw and corn, and order more rice.

Hey, so I stumbled upon this spot while waiting for my sushi to be ready around the corner from it. Online, the reviews were pretty good. So a few days later... for me yesterday I decided to try it. I went with their 1/4 chicken & Ribs with 2 sides. I picked up Mac and Cheese and mashed potatoes. It came with pita bread a green sauce and a brown sauce. Honestly, everything was great. The chicken was flavorful and moist and the ribs were good. The BBQ sauce could use a little spice kick to it but I guess for the majority of people it was fine. Surprisingly, I enjoyed their mac and cheese. Although I don't care much for the long curly noodle they used. Now, I would of given this 4 stars but their mashed potatoes tasted like it came out of a box/can. It was just not good... Hope to have time to try a few other items soon...

I was heading to my normal place on northern blvd, but forgot it is closed on Sunday's. Got the whole chicken and ribs with 3 lg size for lunch. They weren't busy, but it took over 30 mins for my food. The chicken and the ribs was really good, but the sides were very mid. Sweet potatoes was boil with water and cinnamon. The corn was a cheap type of can corn, they could of added some butter and seasoning to make it better. The roasted potatoes didn't have much seasoning. Even though the chicken and ribs was good, but just because the sides are not. I don't think I will go back to this place. Sides are a such easy thing to make it decide, but they are not trying to at all.

The food combinations offered here reminded me of another establishment that is located in the north on Northern Blvd. Ordered the full chicken and full rib combo with four sides. The baked potatoes were mushy, the corn had no flavor, and the mac and cheese was okay. The intensity of the flavor for the chicken and ribs was a bit light. If they did it any longer, it would have been dried out.

The chicken is over cooked, and the ribs are definitely not the falling off the bone ribs, so hard and it’s still stuck to the bone. Can’t really eat them at all since it’s so hard to chew. We had to bake them again the next day in order not to waste food. The cucumber salad is good.

The cook was wearing plastic gloves and touching raw hamburger meat before using the same glove to touch the cooked chicken I ordered. Disappointed.. won't be back.

I used to order from other places, but it was close, and above all, I liked that the ingredients were cooked well so there was no blood. I kept ordering, but today, I don't know what was urgent, but they didn't cook the insides completely, so when I ate the skin, it was all covered in blood and I couldn't eat it and had to throw away more. I felt like they forgot that poultry food can be harmful to humans if not cooked properly and were only greedy about making money. The taste also seemed different from the first time, so I think I should think about whether I will order again. I am really disappointed.

Unfortunately I would only stick with the ribs. The sauce is tasty and there’s enough meat on the bones to justify your purchase. I was really hungry but sadly, the wings had portions under cooked and the slaw tasted like it was tossed in sour cream instead of mayo! With zero flavor. The wings also had no added salt or seasoning.

The rib quality is not good, the meat is so hard to chew , it must be very cheap part of pork ribs.

This restaurant is a blatant copy of Chicken Lovers restaurant in Bayside (Which is much better than this place) with insanely tiny portions. Nothing special that stands out, insanely overpriced for the amount you get and would definitely not come back here ever again.

Looked up food near me on Google and saw Danny’s Grill thinking it was a normal bbq place. Went in, ordered the #14, sat down and waited 30 minutes. When I finally got my food the ribs were dry, almost no meat on the bone and rubbery. The fries had no salt or flavor and the onion rings were mediocre at best.

Lady in front was friendly. I ordered 5 skewers and got 1 wrapped by itself and 4 wrapped together. Ate the single one on the way home and it was pretty good, but after I got home and opened the pack of 4 I was greeted with absolutely black, burnt chicken. Really disappointing.

Picked up an order this afternoon after ordering from a food app. I asked the lady "Is this enough for two people?" And she replied " it's way too much for me to eat" I have the feeling she was implying that I was fat. Got home the chicken was RAW!!!! As someone who suffers from severe stomach problems, good thing I cut into the chicken first and saw that it was raw and did not eat it. If I did it and caught food poisoning with my condition I would have ended up in the hospital. Also while I was waiting for my order the lady was swatting flies next to the food. As for the rest of the that I ate that wasn't contaminated by the raw chicken was very mediocre at best. Instant mash potatoes, disgusting cucumber salad and the only decent thing was the ribs.

Good place a bit cleaner on the floors and table would be best. Food does take some time to be heated and given to the client.

I had a terrible experience here and will never return. The Asian lady behind the counter showed absolutely no customer service very rude, dismissive, rushed and acted like customers were a burden. First impressions matter, and this one was awful. The place itself looked dirty and smoky, to the point where it felt unsafe and unhygienic. I honestly don’t understand how the health department allows food to be prepared in that environment. I asked for gravy on my mashed potatoes and was told, with an attitude, that it was “already there.” It wasn’t. No gravy at all just attitude. Between the poor service, the lack of cleanliness, and the overall vibe, this place left a bad taste in my mouth in every sense. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about customers and cleanliness.
