Our bacon cheeseburgers came exactly the way we like them. . .medium-well on a toasted bun with crisp lettuce, sliced tomato and onion. They were picture-worthy and, with the beer batter fries, delicious. Our waitress was both friendly and efficient. I swear she must have eyes in the back of her head because our refills magically appeared before we even realized we were ready for them!
It can get busy, but the food's always good and the staff are always great.
Great food and atmosphere. The menu has a wonderful selection of Gluten free items as well.
our family stopped here for a meal before heading home after a short weekend getaway. we have some members of our family that are gluten free and O'Tooles was awesome for this. we had originally stopped at a different restaurant before o'tooles and we sat down there and after asking a lot of questions about ingredients, we realized they didn't have enough options for us and we left. So after a quick new search... we found O'Toole's nearby and boy are we glad we left the other place! O'Tooles provided a great meal and our waitress, Tracey, was awesome! she answered many of our ingredient questions and had no issues asking the chef when she wasn't sure. she confirmed the gluten free breaded items do have a gluten free breading that is simply cornstarch and rice flour. and they are fried in their own dedicated fryer. that meant.... yes!... gf fried calamari! if anyone is GF, you know that is a treat! they also had gluten free breaded chicken fingers and gluten free (not breaded) wings. (they also had other gf options - pasta ,etc, I don't remember them all). collectively, this is what we ordered for dinner and I'll note the gluten free items: -bourbon burger with beer battered fries (both NOT gf) -buffalo chicken wrap (gf breaded chicken+ gf wrap) with gf French fries (different than the beer battered ones) -plain flatbread pizza (gf cauliflower crust) -sirloin steak (naturally gf) with sweet potato fries (gf) thank you, O'Tooles, for having great food and great gluten free options! our meal was great. and thank you to Tracey for being extra awesome! highly recommend!
I love Chicken Wings. I move frequently for work and one of my first personal goals is to find a good plays for wings. after 9 months in Glen's Falls O'Tooles is Cleary the place to go for a basket of quality wings. They are not the best i have ever had... but they are definitely the best in the area. Fresh well cooked and sauced well. Thier other bar food is good too. i haven't had opportunity to explore the rest of their menu. Their service and atmosphere are on point as well it gives that all around irish pub feel
We've eaten here several times over the years. Overall this place is pretty good for dinner. Order accuracy is good as well as food quality. We even had dinner for my brother's bachelor party, and our waitress that evening was stellar. We had a large group (8 people), called ahead to warn you guys we would be coming just to give a heads up. She had drinks going for the guys, even at one point brought a pitcher of Mtn dew to the table which was great! I think the only comment on that night is my brother's buffalo wrap, the sauce had made the wrap itself super soggy and it was falling apart, but otherwise everything was good. (This could be either a lot of sauce was put on, or it came out first, either way wanted to mention it, not complaining!) Only comments were from past that the Sweet heat at one point for wings was way spicer than it had any right to be, but that was a long time ago, and that's the only negative comment I can have towards you guys. You guys are a great local food place, keep up the good work.
Good food. Staff is very friendly.
Don’t sleep on O’Toole’s! Their wings (both traditional and boneless) are by far, most likely the best in the area. I’ve tried one their burgers which was also tasty. It sorta has dive bar-ish vibes but that staff is always kind and attentive and the food is great!
Still amazing food and plenty of gluten free options!! My wife never worries about cross contamination when we eat here. The prices are similar to other places like it so no price gouging. The wait staff was friendly and the drinks were strong! What's not to love?
Great experience. The food came out fast. The chicken wings are definitely one of the best around. The hot sauce was 🔥 also had the calamari which didn't disappoint at all.
This is always a fun place to go. They have decent food at okay prices Always great selection of cold tap beer
What a cute spot! We stopped here on the way home from Lake George because of the variety of gluten free options. Was not let down. Had the chicken parm and it was delicious. Everyone in the party was satisfied. If you find time to go definitely try the raspberry sauce to dip your fries in!
Bar staff is amazing. Go there all the time. The girls at the bar are the best. Boom Boom burger is really good. I get it every time i am there
Awesome staff, good food and great drinks at this cute sporty spot.
Having Celiac Disease, O'Toole's is a restaurant I know I can eat safely in & without the fear of getting "glutened" & becomming very sick. They have a great gluten free selection along with a dedicated fryer and toaster!! Their staff is also trained regarding Celiac Disease as well as what exactly cross contamination is and how it can seriously affect someone who has Celiac Disease. And they also offer gluten free beer!! Their staff is great and always accomodating. And their regular menu has everything good for non-celiacs as well!
The gluten free options were great. Chicken Alfredo w gluten free pasta was excellent.
We used to go there often but have stayed away from ALL indoor dining for the past 13 months. We returned last night and it was great to be back. As usual, great/friendly service, good prices and good food. I loved the moist and tender Glazed Chicken and my husband loved his very creamy Buffalo chicken man n cheese. Can't wait to go back again
Favorite Part was they had great Gluten Free options. We brought a whole table worth of people who couldn't eat gluten and we all got the eat something delicious. Our server was awesome inspite of the place being packed full. You could tell she was busy, but that she was glad we were there.
My recent visit to O'Toole's in Lake George was nothing short of exceptional. As a group of tourists, we were greeted with open arms and treated like locals, which was a pleasant surprise. The highlight of our meal was the seafood chowder, a perfect blend of freshness and flavor, focusing on quality over quantity. The burgers, cooked to order, were evidently high-quality and satisfyingly juicy. Accompanying them were fries, perfectly seasoned and textured. The jalapeño poppers added a delightful kick to our meal, leaving us impressed with the kitchen's skills. The atmosphere at O'Toole's contributed significantly to our enjoyable experience. The interior boasted a traditional American vibe, with wooden tables, booths, and a classic sit-up bar. The array of televisions made it a sports enthusiast's haven. The service was remarkable. The staff's friendliness and welcoming nature made us feel at home. A special mention to our waitress, whose pleasant conversation added a personal touch to our evening. It's not every day that a restaurant impresses us enough to buy merchandise, but O'Toole's did just that. O'Toole's stands out as a must-visit spot in Lake George for anyone looking for quality food, a warm atmosphere, and top-notch service. We left with great memories and some souvenirs to remember our fantastic experience.
Everything was good...chicken wings outstanding! The price for a cup NOT bowl (or crock) of their French Onion Soup was $6.99 which is almost 3x higher than any other restaurant around. I really liked the texture & flavors of the soup but because of the price I will never order it again.
We drove to New York for Texas Roadhouse but as usual on a Friday the wait was over an hour. We scrolled on Google for a minute in the parking lot and found O’Toole’s. We were a bit unsure at first. The reviews seemed promising but still not our typical spot for dinner. After being seated and looking around for a minute I realized we were in for some good food. The staff was great, our server seemed happy to work there and she had a great attitude. We ordered steak and baked potatoes. The steak was unbelievably good. The cut was perfect, seasoning was perfect and the sear was fantastic. The baked potatoes were my personal favorite. As simple as it is, the baked potatoes were very good. We had a great time and our food was delicious. The pricing was cheaper than most steakhouses or restaurants and compared to the typical chain steakhouses, it’s not even close. Never going to Texas Roadhouse again, O’Toole’s is our new spot.
Great sports bar, family friendly restaurant
Big thank you to our server Tracy!!! Food was served ice cold .. 4 out of 5 meals. Tracy was great, she handled it very professionally. Tracy had the manager come over and he made it right for us. Tracy made very clear to kitchen that she was not happy! Tracy was so apologetic for way the food arrived to our table. Be sure to ask for Tracy the next time you visit. Wonderful person!!!! Thank you
We dine here every Monday. Staff is always friendly. They are super accommodating for Bella my service dog. Food has always been fresh. Wings are meaty. Burgers are filling. Wraps are huge. Would definitely recommend
It can get really really loud sometimes since it's a sports bar/restaurant. However they have great gluten free food
After all of these years, they still have some of the best wings in town. Last visit had extremely quick service, the Reuben sandwich was out before the wings were. Can’t say I have ever had a bad wing, but the Reuben religiously has one soggy side of the sandwich. Just remember that wings are 1/2 price on mondays!
We first tried this place a few years back and we're not impressed. Last year we tried again on a wing special day and we're again disappointed. We've been looking for a place where we could grab a booth or cozy up to the bar and have friendly conversations with the server or bartender while enjoying good, hot food in a great atmosphere. We've recently been seeing ads from Otoole's advertising daily specials and more importantly, new management and staff inviting the readers to come in and see the difference. So we did! We went last week on Tuesday, burger special day. Burgers can be had at $11.99, $3 off the menu price. These are big, juicy 1/2 lb burgers, not 1/3 lb or quarter pound patties. We each ordered ours medium rare. We had a choice of regular or batter coated fries, we chose the latter. Our server was Autumn. She was fast, friendly, experienced knowledgeable and attentive. Our orders came out hot and our flame-grilled burgers were cooked perfectly medium rare as requested. The whole meal was delicious and the beer was cold. If you have been there in the past and were disappointed with the experience, give it a shot again. You'll find people working hard to give you a great dining experience and fantastic burgers! We're both anxious to get back to try the wings and other menu offerings! Also, we joined their meal club prior, and were surprised to learn we had $3 credit from our prior visits, which also got deducted from our bill at checkout. Good deal!
The appetizers and drinks were delicious but the main dish was a birriadilla and it was cold and had no flavor which was a big bummer... but I would still go back and give them another shot!
Very nice place to eat lunch. It is a sports bar which has alot of TV's so you can enjoy you favorite game.
My family goes to O'tooles alot.. We have had quite a few waitresses and I have to say that Tracy is our favorite...She has a great personally, very nice..She will check on our table to see if we need anything or if our food is alright....
Great food and great service. Quick on the food. Cleanest tap lines in the area. Only thing I have to say about the location is later in the day it gets very noisy
Lunchtime is just quiet enough to catch up with a friend you haven’t seen in a long time!
My husband and I were up north for the day and found O'Toole's pub on Maps. The server was very friendly and helpful. We noticed that a lot of customers were greeted by name, which indicated a lot of local support. I ordered the fish and chips, a Friday special. The fish was huge and tasty and the fries were nice and crunchy. My husband ordered a taco salad which was huge and delicious! We also tried the shrimp and corn chowder which was also very tasty. We will definitely go back the next time we're in the area, and we thank O'Toole's for such a pleasant experience!
I'm thrilled with the exceptional service, delicious food, and refreshing beverages available. The weekly specials are truly outstanding and a must-try! 💯 I also can't get enough of the exciting betting games offered. It's the perfect spot for a night out with friends. The atmosphere is always vibrant and welcoming. You'll find it hard to resist coming back for more. Come experience it for yourself and see why I'm so impressed. #GreatService #Foodie #Beverages #WeeklySpecials #BettingGames #NightOut #MustTry #LocalGem #GoodTimes
Super nice staff, really clean, great food, good vibes and AMAZING GLUTEN FREE OPTIONS!! Top notch. Highly recommend
Excellent restaurant. Great staff. Great food. Stopped by after a day at the Great Escape. Great with 2 kids. Katy, Our server was wonderful.
I’ve been going to O’Tooles since 2011 and it’s still one of my favorite restaurants. I almost always get the Buffalo Chicken Salad, Taco Salad, or their amazing wings; and I’ve never been disappointed. The atmosphere is perfect for family lunch/dinner AND for the times you get to sneak out as adults and have a cold beer and play Quick Draw! Will never stop telling people how much I love O’Tooles!
Was looking for good food for takeout on our long drive home. Found this place and tried takeout on a whim. Wow, we will be back!! The food was phenomenal!! The atmosphere inside was laid back, welcoming and friendly. I was asked by multiple staff if I had been helped yet while I was waiting for my order. Can’t wait to have a sit down meal next time we’re in Lake George!
My family and I just got done eating here and we were thoroughly impressed. Our waitress was absolutely amazing, very attentive and helpful. My daughter and I are very sensitive gluten intolerant and there were a ton of options very clearly labeled. They also have a dedicated fryer. My husband and I both had burgers (mine was gluten free) they were both perfectly cooked and seasoned. Both of my inlaws were happy with their meal and my son wants to go back again. This was a very positive experience and the next time we are in town, that will be our place to go.
EXACTLY WHAT WE NEEDED. Saturday morning, 11am. Looking for a filling meal before going to Six Flags. Ambrosia Diner had a line out the door. Country Silo had an hour wait. I type in "restaurants near me" and find this absolute gem. We were seated right away in a nice booth by a window, there was lots of sports and old-timey memorabilia all over the walls. They had a nice selection of beer and some cocktail specials as well. Our server was a nice young lady who was friendly and prompt and our food came out quickly. It definitely seemed like the type of place that's probably busier in the evenings as a place for dinner and drinks, but it was a great place to stop for lunch and I'm glad I found it. I would go there again next time I'm in the area.
I usually try to order daily specials, and this is my first time ordering one at o'tooles. I am so glad I did! I ordered chicken fajitas and oh.my.goodness. the presentation was impressive for just lunch, the portions were very generous and the flavor? Absolutely delicious. More than a bargain for the price. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program, one of the best around. We plan on returning more often and, of course, order the special of the day. Our server, Kimberly N was attentive, knowledgeable and very personable, will be sure to be seated in her section again. Very sports forward, easy to tune out if you want. Nice to have a local establishment that cares about quality food and service.
The wings were what we came for and they didn't disappoint!! Got sweet chili and citrus bbq, both amazing. Wish I had a second stomach so I could try more flavors. Atmosphere was so fun! Reading all the old signs was great. Can't wait to come back. However, you might want to put someone more pleasant at the door. There was hardly anyone there and she was rather annoyed when we asked to sit near the fire. Also, ask to sit near the fire, it's super comfy and warm. So many TVs to watch! I loved the throw back to the 96 world series! So fun.
We got to O'Toole's pretty early in the day, around 11:45am, but that did not stop the great food. I'm sure it's really busy during the evening. The food was fantastic, my favorite was the potato skins with cheese and bacon. I LOVED them! Their wraps were good, and the wings were also good. The staff was very nice too.
The service was excellent. Bob, our server, was very attentive and the manager was very accommodating to our needs. Food is good for the price. The half priced lunch items is cheap. The deli sandwich and clam chowder were good. Chef salad is okay. Chicken wings (Sweet chilli, parmesan) were a bit disappointing; the extra crispy wings were more dry than crispy. We would go back when we are back in the area, but will delete some of the items from our choices.
The noise level was a bit high but we visited during dinner time. The waitresses were very attentive even with our large party and the food was very good. I had Bourbon Fried Chicken atop two heaps of mashed potatoes. Excellent. The accompanying steamed broccoli was rather bland. Their mild boneless wings were mouth numbing. I can't imagine how searing their hot wings are. We didn't get dessert because we were on a time constraint. Our waitress was quick checking us out. My daughter has been there many times. This was my first visit but I would go back again.
The food is always consistent and good. The staff is friendly and helpful. The wings are incredibly expensive, not their fault, but have to get them their sauces are great. Their biggest downfall is their beer selection. We have so many great breweries in NY and so close to Vermont easy to get their beers also, why have expensive great wings and garbage beer just doesn't make sense to me.
O'Toole's has never let me down. I sat at the bar in the early afternoon competing with the regulars for the bartender's attention. I wasn't ignored but wasn't overwhelmed by her attention either. She was quick to mention that the wraps were on special on Thursdays and I selected the buffalo chicken wrap and I was not disappointed. The Dogfish IPA was ice cold in a frosty glass and was the perfect complement to the Frank's hot sauce and 2 draft beers and a delicious sandwich for only $20 made for a nice Thursday afternoon!
I adore the food that I get here, and is one of the few places that I can get gluten free food for my wife without fear of her getting sick from cross contamination. The only reason I'm going 4 stars is because even when there's no games on it is always very loud there. I strongly suggest people with noise sensitivities order their food to go.
Great pub food. Lots of TV's for catching the live sport balls. Beer selection could be better but they always have a couple good craft beers on tap. If you go often you should join their VIP club, it a great deal. Update 2022... Things have changed as they always do. Not the same fried pickles unfortunately. Taco salad was missing many veggies they used to have. The Buffalo Chicken Wrap had way too much sauce on it. The Mots Sticks are still good.
We had a great lunch at O'Tooles today. The percentage off lunch is a super deal. The older wait staff are very good as are most of them. Their computer upgrade of a couple years still seems to haunt them. 8/3,we returned here after vowing to never return after our last experience which I did not review. Our server Shakeela was very friendly and listened to my story about more previous visit. We stated we wanted to try it under the new management She stated that they still had the loyalty program. We waited for the rest of our party to show up as Shakeela brought our drinks. She put up with a lot of ribbing from our friend who traveled from Washington State for a visit. The wife and I ordered the nachos under the sharesbles and pretzels. We wondered how the nachos could be considered shareable given the plate they were on rather than the usual platter. Well, they were 25 percent off. Maybe that meant quantity as well as price. Shakeela was very attentive and friendly. The question is, will we be back?
The food was good and plentiful. The service was good. I just had to wait a while to pay for it. The atmosphere was OK. I am not into a bunch of TV's while I am eating, and they are everywhere you look.
Very good Reuben and Buffalo mac-and-cheese. French fries were really good, too. A great place to watch all the ballgames. Wish I lived closer so I could go more often--I would be there every Sunday to watch football.
Service is consistently excellent. We visit every Monday. The staff is always prompt, professional, and attentive. The food no matter what has been ordered has been fresh and flavorful. Always accommodating for our group!
Had a couple issues with our meal but Melissa did right by us and we appreciate it very much. Thank you you’re a great manager!
Waitress was great, atmosphere was pleasant and food was decent. First time I had their classic cheeseburger. Cooked perfect! I always like it here. We enjoy it
5 star atmosphere, 5 star service, 1 star food. The food was ok/good, so I'm not saying 1 star means gross. I just mean that it's just ok/good if that makes sense to some. We had 6 people with 6 different things, and I tried them all, but nothing was exciting. Nothing was OMG Becky, I can't wait to come back and eat here again. Nobody was excited about their food and if I ever decided to go back again it would only be for the atmosphere because that was very fun and friendly and the best part of our visit!
Came here for the 1st time last Thursday during lunch, it wasn’t busy at all. We got the pretzel & beer cheese appetizer, it was awesome highly recommend! The classic cheeseburger on the other hand is a completely different story.. seriously disappointing I order it med rare it came out medium well and super greasy and cheese wasn’t even melted on top. There was so much grease on the plate it soaked thru the outside of the bun :/ the fries were good tho. Service was kinda slow for it not being busy. All in all I’d recommend for apps and drinks.
I had the fish and chips, which I really liked but people in my party had that the a chicken club and the chicken was dried out
Service and atmosphere always spot on. Food was aweful on this trip. My chicken breast was ice cold, husbands steak was well done asked for Med. Waited along time for our food, while other tables that came in after us got their food before us. We have been in the restaurant business so we know how it is. This was just disappointing 😞 . We will be back, not sure when though.
Not a bad place, but the food was not good. May have been cause it was busy holiday season when I went and kitchen was slammed with orders. Sweet potato fries were definitely not fresh though.
Out of towner picked this place from a hotel recommendation. Looked fun, menu had many appealing options. Server timeliness was acceptable…attitude wasn’t unkind, but not really friendly either. Food was meh. Salad was warm and wet (freshly washed lettuce?). Chicken dishes were either bland or severely overpowered by hot sauce. Not a terrible experience, but wouldn’t return next time in the area.
Food, service, and prices were pleasing. Two meals, two drinks, one app, one dessert with tip was $60👍 3/27/2022 food & service was mediocre (except for the fried pickles and gluten free vanilla bean cheesecake); they were a treat). The kitchen must have been short staffed ... it took 15 minutes to be seated with empty seats available and when we received our food, it looked like it had been sitting too long, and was not hot.. And not once did our server ask how things were. Plus, the women's restroom was in need of cleaning. My son doesn't ever want to return and I'm OK with that.
Went for an early dinner, place was not busy at all yet service and food took a long time. Food wasn’t great but the prices weren’t bad compared to other Lake George restaurants. The fish and chips didn’t taste great, more like frozen fish. Definitely not haddock as advertised. Fried pickles were ok and my sons mac and cheese was good but smaller portion than other restaurants.Second time eating here but probably wouldn’t return.
Resturant looked clean however the men's restroom was disgusting. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. I ordered an 8 oz sirloin with fries and cole slaw. Steak was dry and seriously lacking in seasoning. The French fries were average. Cole slaw was from a bag so it tasted good. My child ordered a chicken and cheese qusadilla which was also lacking any seasoning. I would not recommend eating here. Giving two stars because our food came out very quickly and the wait staff did a great job.
Very busy while we were there. Steak meal came out with hair on it. They were supposed to replace with new immediately and we waited an hour. The rest of the table had eaten before the steak meal was replaced. Won't go here again. Hard to get waitress attention.
We had the chicken nachos and they were the worst nachos we have ever had, cheese, chicken pieces, tomatoes and green onions. No flavors that was it. Love the place but the the nachos sucked
I have Celiac disease, which means I can’t eat even a crumb of gluten or my immune system will attack my digestive tract. I ordered gluten free fajitas to share with my mom as one of our meals, along with boneless wings and a salad (we made sure to specify everything we ordered as gluten free). I felt safe to eat everything since they brought it out as gluten free and assured it was gluten free and that was my mistake to blindly trust that. I ate one of the fajitas with the tortilla they came with (it didn’t raise any red flags on first glance since they were the same size as corn tortillas). Later on though I put two and two together and realized that they were in fact not corn tortillas based on texture. I asked the waitress and she said yes they were gluten free, but then went and asked her manager at my request. She then came back after checking and said ya I’m sorry they are not gluten free. She said said she also has celiac and said ya it’s terrible stomach pain. I agreed but then informed her I am extremely symptomatic and could already feel that something was off. I then went to projectile vomit in their bathroom. While I was gone the manager came out and informed my mom that they had a new cook and that they also stocked the kitchen wrong, putting the non-gluten free items where the gluten free items are supposed to be (heads up to anyone who is sensitive to cross contamination). Thankfully they took the fajitas off the bill, but unfortunately not any of the other food that we ordered that was cross contaminated by sharing our meals, and then promptly vomited up in their bathroom. The waitress told me to have a good rest of my day :), which was kinda funny considering I would obviously not be having a good time gastrointestinaly for the foreseeable future. Mistakes happen obviously, it just sucks walking away having paid 30 dollars for a now empty stomach and ruined weekend plans since I’ll be glued to a toilet.
My husband got the French dip and it looked like one slice of dehydrated deli roast beef on it. The one slice was brown and was as dry as beef jerky. Said something to the waitress about it and she said “ya well it’s pre-packaged meat”. Didn’t even offer to take it off bill, apparently they need the $15 they charged for it more than I do. That sandwich shouldn’t have even left the kitchen. Horrible Meal and horrible service.
The food isn't what it once was! The tater tot nachos were minimally loaded, luke warm, and seemed like they'd been sitting for a long time. The French dip... does anyone want some filling with their bread? At least the one bartender for the entire very busy bar was on point! Hilary is excellent, but can't say the same about the food quality.
Just about everything was terrible. The clam chowder was actually good. Couple people in our party ordered burgers, both were over cooked from what was ordered. Sweet potato fries were burnt AND cold - figure that one out. I ordered the garlic blue steak, ordered it medium, it was well done, and had to send it back as there was no garlic butter or blue cheese crumbles. Got the corn as a side, it was so bland and tasted like plastic. Food use to be good here, was quickly reminded why do don't go any more. Our server was real nice, I will say that was probably the only positive thing about the whole evening.
Really loved otoolies! I went last night with my boyfriend and had a decent meal. We tipped the waitress with cash and went along our day, Checked my account later in the day and the amount i spent didn’t add up. I didn’t bother calling, was just upset with this situation. Before we went it was a great night no problems! Now food is different and hospitality is blunt. Employees tipping themselves off your cards!!
Ever since this Stacey woman has taken management, my orders are constantly messed up. Whenever, several times, I have called to complain, she is constantly hostile and defensive towards me instead of fixing the issue. She is always trying to find a suction to save herself instead of rectifying the problem. I am done eating at a place I have gone to for YEARS thanks to Stacey. Thank you, STACEY. Awful manager, coming from someone who has been in a manager role for 10+ years. Learn some decency.
IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR STOMACH LINING AT ALL DONT GET THE STEAK. also waitress was very slow and forgot multiple things(such as my friends food) while being slow. Disappointed.
The food is actually good but the service is terrible. They told us it would be a 45 minute wait. An hour and a half later I asked what was going on and they said they were not going to seat us because the kitchen was backed up and our party of 5 adults and 3 kids was too large. Yet we watched them seat 20 people who came in after us. The manager couldn't have cared less when I pointed out that they should have told us no from the beginning. I ate there for 20 years, the manager was so rude I'll never go back.
Bald guy is rude and unprofessional and unpleasant to be around, felt like we were doing him a favor being seated in his area. Food also came out cold so it wasn’t very enjoyable and fries tasted like cardboard. He didn’t ask how our food was and waited forever for apps and food. I’ve been coming to o tooles for a while now and this will be the last.
The last few times we've been here the food + service hasn't been very good. We went Superbowl Sunday they were out of baked potatoes, onion rings, potato nuggets, my husband's steak had to be sent back twice due to not cooked how ordered. After the 2nd time it still wasn't cooked properly. He said just take it off the bill. The waitress tried to tell my husband how to order his steak in the future! He knows how to order his steaks! I'm pretty sure we won't be going back here.
We are super disappointed. My husband has celiac disease and O'Tooles was the only place he could eat at without getting sick. Recently we ordered food from there to go and he got super sick. I emailed our experience but got no response. We will not be back and I would caution anyone with celiac disease to reconsider eating here.
Chicken Fahita Wrap was awful! I thought onions and green peppers would be fried. Instead, my sandwich included lettuce, red pepper, tomatoes, lettuce, and a small handful of chicken chunks. It was warm, probably put in a microwave. No onions and the peppers were soggy and warm, probably because it was just warmed up, not fried. I also didn't get sour cream or salsa. Best part, french fries were very good and waitress very nice! After eating the chicken and french fries, I did let the waitress know that the sandwich was awful. She spoke to the manager and I was given a 25% discount on the sandwich. DON'T ORDER THE CHICKEN FAHITA WRAP!!!
We sat at the bar there were 5 obvious regular customers. We ordered our drinks. Waitress was focusing on the regulars. Took our order we wanted to play quick draw she took care of the regulars we had to ask her to process our ticket missed 3 games. We ordered the Buffalo chicken flatbread and onion rings. Both came out over cooked. Never asked if we needed ketchup. We waited finally we reached over bar to get ketchup, one of your regulars pointed out that we did it and she said yeah I saw that. If that is the way your waitstaff treat non regulars we will not be coming back. Food was mediocre.
I would give zero if I could. Whoever the manager “Kyle Anthony woods” is should not be allowed to have any business representing the establishment or dealing with customer service. I went 20 minutes from my home to get a large to go order. A meal was missing which was not caught until I got home. I called The establishment and the girl transferred me to the manager who I referred to above. He asked me what I wanted to do and I said you’re the manager what do you suggest and he stated that they could redo it I would just have to come and get it which is fine except for the fact that that’s my time and money and gas to go all the way back when it should have been checked for it to go order to begin with. I told him I would send my husband and a refund would be nice for the inconvenience and he said he would refund my card if he could find the receipt and which I told him I was there 20 minutes ago and it should be in the system to be found. He called me back and told me that my credit card would be refunded tonight and I said okay, when will the meal be ready? My husband is on his way, in which he told me that that was not the conversation when in fact it was as other witnesses had heard the conversation on speakerphone, he chose to mock what I had said “he’s the manager what would he suggest” and then laugh and I told him that it was very unprofessional to be treating a customer this way and that I would like to speak to somebody else in which he told me there was nobody else and I said I will be in contact with the owners as he should not be somebody representing the business and he told me his name was Kyle Anthony Woods, and that Susan and her husband (who won the establishment) love him and would laugh this whole thing off and then hung up on me. I will not ever order again. Shame on the company for trusting a person of such low caliber and character.
The food was good! The manager Kyle was rude to another customer and it ruined my whole experience. Instead of helping the customer he was trying to fight him. Very unprofessional for sure! I overheard the whole conversation that the manager was rude to the customer’s wife on the phone. They mocked her calling her Gilbert and he said it wasn’t his problem that she didn’t get the food she ordered. It was very disappointing to see such a negative interaction.
My wife and I decided to come here because the reviews was good. Let me say this ppl have been nice with their reviews. The service is terrible, my waitress was ignorant. My wife and I order a burger well done it came out rare. I told Molly I did not want it and did not trust sending it back. Molly then started to explain how the meat was pink but it came out well done. I politely told her I did not want it. After she took the meal she came back to the table and started to clear the table while my wife was still eating her fries and pretzel sticks. I asked her why is she taking the food and my wife not done she said you said you was done. My wife never said anything to her about being done and I never told her my wife was done eating her food. I asked her, her name and she asked did I want to speak to her manager I said no but she went to get her anyways and I explain what happen to the manager and the manager said she shouldn't have touched the other meals.
What was supposed to be a nice lunch date, turned into us getting our food to go because it took an hour for 3 entrees. Also, we used to go there all the time for the wings but this time, the wings were dry, barely sauced, and not to mention the sauce was completely wrong. I’ve had better wings at a place called Hurricane up the road.
