Was Kunden über The Overland Bar sagen
The Overland Bar is praised for its amazing vibe, electric atmosphere, and well-crafted cocktails. The service can be slow when busy, and some find the food overpriced. The music volume is sometimes an issue, but it's known as a "listening bar."

5⭐️!! I was in the area and decided to check out The Overland, and wow, I’m so glad I did. The vibe is amazing! Great music, intimate vibe, and just really good energy all around. My waitress Darilyn was super friendly and her recommendations were spot on. I got the After Carnival and No Bad Trips cocktails, and both were so good! For food, I ordered the Steak sandwich with A Cauliflower soup, and honestly, the flavors were unlike anything I’ve had before! so delicious! Everything hit perfectly from start to finish. Can’t wait to come back!
Our waitress/bartender was so knowledgeable about the drinks and the menu and everything about the place she was lovely we had great service the food was absolutely wonderful. The drinks OMG the drinks so creative and delicious. I recommend this place so highly
Stopped in for drinks before dinner down the street - absolutely fantastic cocktails. Inventive, not pretentious, and great flavors. The Ghost ship was our favorite! We were in from LA and can't wait to go back!!
A true gem of a place with amazing cocktails and a wonderful hifi system and collection of music
I've passed by this place multiple times, and I finally stopped in. Should have checked it out soon Service was great, drinks were delicious. I recommend the New Style. Pro tip. Make a reservation
Run, don't walk to this incredible location! It's small and intimate inside, but they have quite a spacious outdoor dining area. They had misters going outside due to this awful heatwave, but we opted to sit inside to beat the heat. The ambiance is incredible, with incredible details from the wall of vinyls to the beautiful plants. The drinks are are unique and delicious, with unique twists to keep you on your toes. We tried the truffle fries and the truffle fries, both delicious. But I don't have enough words to explain how delicious the focaccia mushroom pizza is. I'm already daydreaming about going back! Please go check them out!
Sooo fun! Great drinks and great music in a very cozy environment. Will be back to try the food. Their kitchen opens at 4, currently!

The cocktails are the highlight, excellently done! Food is sometimes a bit overpriced but good. For those complaining of the music volume, this launched as a “listening bar” so the music tends to be at the forefront (:
Service can be slow when it's busy, but drinks usually come out pretty quick and they're always a 10/10. They tend to fall into 2 types: boozy or fruity. They're made well. Come for vinyl night and bring a record to play. I think thats when it's most worth it in my opinion.
I knew i would like this place from the moment I saw the buildings fasade. The atmosphere was incredible. It felt like we were in a different time and space. The menu was simple yet elegant. Everything was well put together and thought out. Our waitress was attentive and charming. We will definitely be going back.
the menu is simple yet elevated, eclectic, and delicious. the chef does a phenomenal job. will return again and again. the servers are fast, attentive, and knowledgeable, the bartenders are very talented, and the bar itself is styled beautifully.
My first time visiting this amazing little place. We happened to pop in as a large group of 8, were greeted by a friendly server, who was accommodating and seated us right away. The drinks were delicious. The ambiance was amazing and well thought out. They also have a beautiful patio covered in vines. This place is an amazing addition to Redlands and I will definitely be back. My only thought to add to this place would be to design an element that shows if the bathrooms are in current use since there is music and noise.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The Overland is a Vibe You Don’t Want to Miss! From the moment you walk into The Overland, you feel it — the atmosphere is electric. It has that perfect balance of laid-back and lively, with an amazing vibe that instantly puts you in a good mood. The drinks are top-tier — not just your average pours. Every cocktail I tried was delicious, well-balanced, and clearly crafted by someone who knows their mixology. The music sets the tone just right, creating an upbeat energy without being overpowering — ideal for catching up with friends or kicking off a great night out. And let’s talk about the waitstaff — friendly, attentive, and genuinely fun. The servers made the whole experience feel personal and seamless. You can tell they love working there, and that energy is contagious. If you’re looking for a place with great drinks, great music, and even better vibes, The Overland is a must. This spot has quickly become one of my go-to favorites!
The 2 drinks we had here were delicious. The good ol whiskey sour with a beautiful dried citrus slice. The red beverage is called the Land O' Dreams, the taste is somewhat similar to a piñacolada. We skipped out on any food since we had just eaten. But the atmosphere is nice, there's outside seating as well.

A couple of us went here on a Friday night, we got seated pretty fast considering it was busy, there only limited to what drinks they have on there menu, so if you just wanted like a shot of patron etc. They don't have it, they also have a small food menu with typical bar food on it which is a nice option to have. They were playing good chill music but it was pretty loud, could barely hear everyone at my table, cool lil spot but a tad over priced in my opinion, also its DT redlands so parking is limited
Great atmosphere during Christmas, although the music is a little too loud; everyone around talking very loud, so we had to do the same. It took 5 full minutes before a greeter, or anyone came over to say hello and then seat us. We were about to leave. Also, we ordered drinks and kettle corn for an appetizer, we finished our drinks and assumed they forgot the kettle corn, which happens, so after our waiter finally came back to check on us, I was about to hand over my card to pay when he brought us the corn. By the way, it was cold, so it's not fresh, which made me think why did it take so long to bring us over a bowl of probably prepackaged kettle corn?

Visited The Overland for lunch to celebrate a special birthday. Hoping for an exceptional experience, I was prepared to love this spot. Upon arriving we were promptly seated outdoors in the patio area. It was a cool day, but we had jackets so it wasn't an issue. The music was exceptionally loud, despite us being the only patrons at the time, and it made it difficult to talk. Compile that with a train passing by 20 feet away every 20 minutes and hanging out in the patio was difficult for a relaxing, afternoon lunch. Unfortunately, the music in the lounge was even louder. We started by ordering some mocktails and an Arnold Palmer and proceeded to wait 25 minutes for drinks to be delivered. We then ordered from the very limited lunch menu and proceeded to wait 50 minutes for our food to arrive. The drinks were fine, but overpriced. The food was tasty, but came out cold, despite it including a soup and a toasted sandwich. I'm going to reiterate that when we walked into the space, we were the ONLY patrons, it was NOT busy and it was NOT a typical busy meal/lounge time (mid-afternoon on a weekday). The service was kind, but lacking, and the food experience was just a total miss. Would I come back? Maybe for a drink, and only if I was sitting AT the bar to ensure service was provided in a timely manner. I would likely not come back for food, although the options were interesting and I can see how if served hot would be tasty. Overall, and expensive experience I'm not sure I'll be able to recommend to others, which is a bummer, as the space itself is beautiful.
I leave 2 stars when I would absolutely never return to a restaurant. Drinks are awesome, food is typical Redlands garbage. Presentation was interesting but lacking any flavor outside of bread or deep fry. We even ordered dishes that never arrived because the servers don’t seem to know the difference between an appetizer and an entree in timing Tyw pictures are of all the food we left behind. Don’t serve a Bahn Mi if you have zero idea how to make it properly!!!

The bar is beautiful, great vibes. Unfortunately, the service was rough and the food was overpriced. The drinks were expensive and not really balanced. A couple of us had to choke them down. I’m not sure I’d give it a second chance at this rate.
If you want to sit and enjoy a meal with drinks, this probably isn't the place. Made a reservation around 4pm midweek. When we arrived, there was literally no one there. More people started showing up about an hour later. Around that time, we received our bill, but there was an issue with the bill, so we waited for our waitress to return. We sat there for another 30 minutes, trying to get her attention. Because we were seated next to the hostess area, we heard her telling other patrons as they came in, that they could be seated if they planned on being finished in 30 minutes, because they needed the tables for reservations. She did finally come over, but it was to tell us, "You need to leave, we have reservations coming soon." She seemed irritated when we explained that we had been waiting to have the bill corrected- no apology, by the way. Another person then came to help us. Food was alright and drinks are quite small, but good. Faster service will help them get people in and out of there quickly - if that's the restaurant's goal.
We were really looking forward to The Overland Christmas Pop Up, but it ended up being a huge disappointment. First issue: our reservation meant nothing. We weren’t seated until 30 minutes after our scheduled time, with no real explanation or apology. If you’re going to take reservations, at least try to honor them or communicate better. Once seated, things didn’t improve. The cocktails were terrible — poorly balanced, overly sweet, and honestly tasted rushed and low effort. For a pop-up that clearly leans heavily on themed drinks, this was a big letdown. And then there’s the atmosphere. You’d expect festive Christmas music, right? Instead, they were playing random oldies that completely killed the holiday vibe. It felt more like a confused bar playlist than a Christmas pop-up. Overall, this place is all hype and Instagram decor with very little substance. If you’re going for the experience, be prepared for long waits, bad drinks, and a vibe that doesn’t match the theme. Definitely wouldn’t come back.
Very disappointed in the host and the check in experience. Seems like they turn away many people instead of being upfront on wait time. The host at the front seems to pick and choose who they let join the wait list. Service seems to not be a priority anymore. Very sad to see, as this was a place both my wife and I recommended to many people as a go to spot for the atmosphere and drinks. Do yourself a favor skip this place, if you are looking for good drinks and atmosphere in Redlands, go to Don Orange instead. If you are looking for a good bar you can also try Cintrone. Both of these preferred choice are very close to the overland.
