The chef/owner and staff are amazing here. Best Thai in DFW. Everything is presented beautifully, made with the highest quality ingredients and authentic. From High Tea, to weekday lunches and exquisite in-house catered birthday buffets for 100 year-old parent’s (with over 50 guests), I get teary-eyed thinking about the beautiful memories I have made here while dining in this restaurant. There is love that goes into each dish served to every customer both young and old. Thank you for being exceptional in every way. You are an asset and beloved community member in Richardson.
Ordered through DoorDash, and holy smokes. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. If they ever put me on death row I'd specifically ask for this. 1000000/10 (the spring rolls are goated here👌)
I’ve dined at countless Thai restaurants, yet I find myself returning to this one—even if it means a longer drive. As a vegetarian, it can be difficult to find dishes that are both satisfying and flavorful, but here the cooking never disappoints. The fragrant soup was deeply comforting, and the pineapple fried rice struck the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and spice. The rest of my family enjoyed their meal as well.
In my opinion this is the best Thai food in the Dallas area. My friend and I ate there yesterday. We had no idea that the portions would be so large. We give the afternoon tea a Five Star rating so we decided to try the food. We are so glad that we did. I started with the satay with peanut sauce. It was wonderful. I ordered Volcano shrimp. It came with delicious vegetables, rice and a spring roll as well as a bowl of soup. Everything was delicious and perfectly seasoned. The food comes with five degrees of heat. I chose the hottest and it was not too hot at all. I also had the chocolate mousse cake. It was perfect. My friend ordered the fried ribs. I tasted them and they were delicious. My friend also ordered the drunken noodles. The plate was piled high with food. My friend was very pleased with it. My only regret is that I forgot to order the Thai hot tea. Needless to say we couldn’t eat all of that food. We had to get takeout boxes. I almost forgot to mention how good the service was. The staff was very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant.
We did the afternoon tea and it was amazing! My husband says this is the best food he’s had at a tea service! The sandwiches and desserts were all very yummy and unique. Different than traditional afternoon tea, but that’s why we liked it! He’s vegetarian and they are very accommodating with that. The teas were also very flavorful. I can’t decide which I liked better- the citrus tea or the vanilla Thai tea.
Great Thai restaurant with great service and a beautiful atmosphere! Nice, authentic Thai food that's seasoned well with a large portion size. We got: Bangkok crabsticks, kua gai noodle, Thai style garlic stir fry (chicken), and Thai style black pepper beef. The crabsticks were so good and I wish we had more!!! The Thai black pepper beef was our favorite entree. Service was great and attentive. I would definitely come back!
I went for their afternoon tea and it was so delicious. I notified them beforehand about my food allergy and they were very accommodating. Everything was so good and each tea paired nicely with the tiers. They came around often to refill the tea. Had an amazing time and hope to come back soon.
We had a second wind and we’re hungry about 8:45p on Christmas. We anticipated having to look much further but were pleasantly surprised to find Bangkok open! This was our first visit and we arrived about 40 minutes before closing. We placed an order to go as we didn’t want to be there too much closer to closing. We ordered fresh rolls, pad kee mow, and shrimp fried rice. We were in and out in 10 minutes with a hot fresh delicious meal! Spicy 3 was perfect, staff was very friendly, and it was all around just a positive experience! We were so grateful for a delicious meal at the end of a long day! Will definitely be back soon!
Best Thai Afternoon tea ever!!! I made a reservation for Saturday, the earliest time is 1pm. They called me a few days for confirmation, and required a card in file. There is a cancellation fee if you cancel the tea time a day before or on the same date. They offered to go option if you cannot show up. I told them about my friend not like sweet beans and the celebration of her birthday. They surprised her with a birthday tag and delicious coconut ice cream. All tiers were delicious! And came with three different tea. The servers were very attentive and friendly. We really had a great time!
Love Thai food and hospitality and this place is right on. There's lots of Chinese in Richardson, but not enough Thai. The ambiance is really nice here. The staff is super friendly. In the beginning, the food was delicious and spiced just right, but lately the meals have been a little thin tasting. I say this because I hope they read this and get back to their roots! Their prices for a fried rice dish are just too high - it just rice! Their other prices are a little high, but not bad when their quality was so high. Get that taste back! And I will be back! Update July 2021: Had dinner here and it was very good. The wait staff were pleasant and professional. The appetizers beautiful and tasty. Really loved to crunch of the corn patties! The Pad Grapow was great. There are not many Thai restaurants in Richardson so I'm very happy to have this one so close. I'm adding some pics of the wonderful meal we had. Oh, and this place is always very clean. Update 10/10/2023: This is now a 5 star review. I'm leaving the above comments, but the owner is right, the prices here are actually very good especially considering the quality of the food, service and cleanliness of the facility. Try the Glazed Noodles if you like the Pad Thai. They will blow your mind! That brown sauce is amazing. We eat in there a lot, but it's also great for pickup and the food is always very hot and fresh. Also, the bathrooms are nice and clean. That is a very important factor for every place I rate as it generally indicates how clean everything is including kitchen! Good job guys. Update August 29th 2024 this place has just gotten better. Ordered the Thai style stir fry with minced chicken it comes with an egg on top it is fantastic! It is super keto friendly just don't eat the rice and there is plenty of food to fill you up so you don't need the rice. The spring rolls are fabulous and the chicken Pad Thai is always great. It is also always very clean and the staff are also very helpful and friendly. The only thing I don't like is the two handicap spots in front are taken by people who are just picking up food and are not handicapped it is a major inconvenience for people who are handicapped. You guys need to put a sign out there that says no parking here for pickup only for handicapped. My friend is handicapped and this was an issue
As someone who has gone to several afternoon teas, here’s what we really enjoyed: 1. Service was great. I loved how polite and friendly our waitress was. She explained what tea we were being served and what each tier had. A true afternoon tea service experience. 2. The price point. Price was $45 per person( one of the more affordable teas in the area). A fair price given the amount of food but also factoring in that you’re not paying for location. The restaurant is casual, but nice. 3. Food was good, not everything was my favorite but that’s totally ok. I enjoyed trying new things- it’s part of the experience! Our favorites were chicken satay sandwich, curry puffs, cranberry & white chocolate scone, macaroons, and mango mousse cake. I wish they would replace one of the other options with another sweet dessert. The desserts I listed were so good! I’ll be keeping an eye out when there’s a menu change, I’m interested in what they come up with next!
I have been here for the afternoon tea and regular dinner time as well. Both are delicious, although the tea is quite pricey. The regular menu options are even better in my opinion. I recently had the green curry which was creamy and delicious, and the volcano chicken is also a staple go to. The servers are kind and friendly and check in often to make sure you’re doing okay!
We were in the neighborhood and wanted to try something new. This led us to Bangkok at Beltline for some Thai food. It’s in a little shopping center. It’s nice and quiet inside. The service was good. The food was delicious. We started with the gyoza and crab Rangoon. Both were so good!!! I craved them the next day and wished I had more. Then, for our entrees, we ordered the Pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles) and the Bangkok fried rice to share. I am very particular about my meat and am always nervous when eating Asian food. The chicken and beef were so good. They were tender and didn’t have any gristle. Needless to say, I was very pleased. The prices were so reasonable. I’m hoping to be in the neighborhood again so I can try some more dishes!
Decided to try out this Thai place as it was close to where we needed to be. It was easy to find, not far from the hwy after you exit. Walked in and the lady greeted us and seated us quickly. She was super nice and took our drinks. She gave us a few mins to look over the menu. Later another waiter came and took our order as the lady was busy. He, too, was super nice and answered some of the questions that my husband had about his meal. I ordered the Beef Pad See Ew. It was pretty. Only thing was it was just a bit to sweet for me. Other than that, the flavor was good. My husband ordered the Beef Noodle Soup, Dry. He said his was also good. Overall, it was a good experience. The price and service was great. Will definitely be back to try other things I have spotted on their menu.
This was my first Thai food experience. First of all, the facilities were clean and well-kept. The cleanliness was everything you could want. The dining area wasn’t large, but it was well cleaned and kept. Second, the servers were terrific. They were friendly and informative. I asked our server to recommend a dish and he was VERY helpful. They were quick to help and keep our drinks full. Third, the food was DELICIOUS. The plating was beautiful and clean. The food tasted delicious. Well prepared and tasty, I’d eat it again! Finally, the price was good. It matched the quality of service and food. I would DEFINITELY eat here again.
