I’m not a smoker, but the cappuccino and blueberry muffin were delicious. The place feels cozy, the coffee is great, and it’s honestly a great little gem in Richmond. They’ve been around for a long time, and you can really feel that classic, local vibe.

Best Coffee in Richmond ! Melanie and Jackie are two of the best in Town. The Cigar shop in back is the best in the Houston Metroplex in my opinion. The Gen Mgr Jerry, is the best Tobbaconist in the business in my opinion.

My favorite coffee shop with a cigar store in the back and an outdoor veranda. Outdoor sitting can be a little noisy some days as adjacent streets and railroad crossing can get busy.

Everyone seems to agree that this is a good place, so I gave five stars, however be advised that contrary to the Googlemaps "6p" closing time, the coffee shop portion closes at 3p. What is wrong with this world? People don't have time to kill after 3pm? Also the sign on the door lists 7p as the cigar shop closing time, not 6p, but I don't know which one is accurate.

My neighbor did some work for me and had trouble finding a certain coffee flavored cigar. So I put my ear to the street and found the exact cigars he liked and he was Very Surprised. He asked for 5 but I bought him 8 so now I have some credit.

It is not often that you can say that you have found a truly unique, small town coffeeshop, but JOSEPH'S is just that. Offering not only warm service along with the coffee and pastries, but also a selection of flavorful grilled sandwiches. Not to mention what really makes this place stand out is that patrons can browse the interior cigar shop and enjoy their coffee all at once.

Great atmosphere and a fantastic selection of cigars. The lady who rings up the cigars in the evening has a vast amount of knowledge and answered a handful of questions I had on the cigarillos and different brands of other cigars.

Warm and welcoming! The food (I had an apple crunch muffin) was so delicious and fluffy !! My lemonade was flavorful and refreshing! (their coffee selections were also fantastic!) I will drop by again

The service is great. If you are looking for cute coffee shop that you can get a good beverage at this is the place to go. You can get, coffee, tea and smoothies. They have a couple of baked good items. It is clean and staff is kind.

The nice woman in the cigar part was very helpful. I don't smoke ,but was buying for my future son in law. She showed me the different brands and explained the differences so that I was able to make a better decision on what to get. Awesome place a little smokey, but it's a cigar shop haha. I am a cigar hunter across the United States from Atlanta. I called and spoke with Nicole. Very nice woman and was very patient with me not knowing if I was calling to "kick tires" or be a customer. I am glad she called me back and let me know she had 3 beautiful boxes of Crowned Heads Limited Edition 2022 Belicosos Finos!! I thanked her for the info and we made the purchase and they are in my possession in Atlanta from Texas!!!! THANK YOU NICOLE AND JOSEPH'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We love this little coffee shop in downtown Richmond. Try their Cafe Corona! I do wish there was a separate room for cigar smokers in the morning (or at least til 10am). Those of us stopping in on our way to work don't want to show up smelling like smoke for the rest of the day. When the weather cools off, we can use their outdoor seating. Just my two cents!

Just had a morning meeting with a colleague at Joseph's, after I suggested we meet there instead of Starbucks. REALLY glad I did! Coffee was great, atmosphere was outstanding, staff was friendly and helped educate us as well. Highest recommendation, better coffee and a better place to have a meeting than Starbucks any day.

We made a quick stop for some humidor supplies. They have such an amazing assortment of cigars and every cigar accessory that you can imagine. They even have a fantastic cigar that is their house brand. Definitely worth trying and I'll bet you'll fall in love! Not only the best cigar shop in Richmond but in my opinion it's the best cigar shop in Texas. Massive selection, delicious coffee, tons of accessories, and their staff is incredibly talented at selecting a cigar you will like based on him asking you a few questions. I would 100% suggest making this your main stop for cigars. Better prices and way better service than the bunny store. Whether you're a resident of richmond, staying here for a few days, or just passing through, make sure you add this to your list of places to visit. You won't regret it!

So they had an amazing iced chai, but apparently it's "seasonal" and hot summer is not the time for iced drinks. At best they seem indifferent towards customers. A bit disappointing as it's one of the areas truly unique, independent places.

Another gentleman actually walked up to us and ask if we needed help and I told him yes we were looking for a cigar for my husband to sit down and smoke, and he was kind enough to introduce us to the humidor toom and we walked in and we bought a couple of cigars. I asked him what the young lady’s name was because she was very rude and he said Nicole. Mr. Joseph if you were reading your reviews and you see this, Nicole has a negative and nasty attitude and is not given your business any value. I saw a couple of other negative reviews on here on customer service and it is sad that you are allowing Nicole to represent you and your business. We will not be returning unless there is a change in staff. I also agree with one of the other reviewers that if you were to separate the coffee bar from the cigar bar and just had two separate sitting areas with membership not being a requirement, you would generate greater sales. Abhorrent customer service. I recently visited the establishment to purchase a cigar. The butch-looking older lady with glasses was the one I interacted with — no greeting, responded coldly when I asked about another brand, and not so much as a ‘thank you’ after my purchase. Awful. This level of service might be expected from a teenager at McDonald’s, but not from a Davidoff retailer.

The smoking lounge is for members but tthey usually allow me to smoke in there during this event. I spent over $100 this time amd was told I could not use the lounge very disappointing.

They have a nice room in the back where the smokers can stay and enjoy TV with cigars amongst other people smoking, however now they're up front with the regular coffee drinkers. Apparently the front area is for the poor cigar peasant smokers who don't have VIP membership access to the back room seating even through each person had like 7-8 cigars on the table. I went to the back to see what all the VIP hype was about and was greated by an angry wo-man who made myself and my friend feel beneath her. I walked into the cigar area where she followed me like I was going to steal something even though I made it clear that we were just killing time that morning. Keep in mind they have cameras everywhere obviously to prevent theft but she/he/they/them needed to follow us regardless. I can honestly in my observation and my opinion say that this place is now only for cigar smokers. Great place to enjoy a few good stogies but not for a family or reading a book coffee atmosphere anymore unless you can handle very heavy cigar smoke.
