Great beer, Such unique and interesting choices! The fish fries, broiled and battered were amazing! Sweet potato fries and cole slaw were tasty! Raul is a master in the kitchen! The service is above expectations, always feel welcome and they all seem to work together and take care of everyone’s needs. The #1 go to place for us!
Really great brewery with beer garden that regularly has decent live music. The beer is interesting (sometimes maybe too interesting), specializing in sours. If you're an adventurous beer drinker then you'll like K2, and if not, they offer some quality, more traditional taps as well
Amazing selection of brews, wines & cocktails. The brewery is wonderful & the ownership and staff is beyond superb! This is a brewery to watch- they will surely bloom into a business that's even better- which is hard to imagine, but I can't wait for my next visit. P.S.- Don't be afraid of the Jalapeno Cream Ale! It's smooth & the finish is just right.
We had never been here before and it was an awesome experience! To start, everyone was respectfully wearing masks and tables were spaced quite far from each other. There were a lot of people there and we still felt safe during these COVID times. In addition to that, the beers were delicious. Between us, we got a scotch ale, two different sours, an IPA, and a cider. We all enjoyed our drinks! We also got to play cornhole in the back outdoor/covered room, that was well equipped with heaters. The staff was welcoming and kind, the bathrooms were clean and the parking lot was big! It also seemed that everywhere we went was handicap accessible. We will have to try the food next time. Overall great place!
The great variety of K2 beers are locally brewed with local ingredients and are excellent. Staff is very friendly and doesn’t appear to be overworked, as in many establishments currently and it’s busy. The outdoor space is well utilized, attractive and lots of fun with corn hole games and cozy gas fire pits. The food is excellent and I highly recommend the Poutine with sausage as a special treat.
This place is awesome. Did the heated beer challenge and get to rep K2 w/ my t shirt. Most of those beers should be canned because they were yummy. Each pour got better as the morning went. I advise anyone if you are in the area stop by staff and atmosphere will not be a let down.
Don’t judge K2 by what you can get at Wegmans. That’s their production beer and it’s pretty average. Go to the brewery. There’s a nice variety of brews available and not all IPAs like most places have. Sours are their jam and they are good. Not the milkshake sours like Mortalis; these are lighter, more tart and less filling. And their other brews are nice as well. Good brewery type food menu with prompt service. Family friendly space. Plenty of TVs to see Western NY sports. Loved it. Recommend it.
Loved the bar and outdoor space. The food smelled amazing. The beer was good not the best best craft beer I have ever had but it was still great. definitely worth checking out.
This is hands down my favorite brewery. They not always put out great tasting beers, they do it consistently. As if that's not enough, they're regularly trying new flavors and nailing it. That's just the beer, if you're fortunate enough to get down to the beer garden you're in for a treat. The food and atmosphere and service is second to none. Idc if you go for the beer or for the food, but definitely go. 5 stars. #myLocalStandby
Great beers, great food, great service. I’m not a local to the area but the location by the bay was appealing and the fact that they served food was even better. Split two flights and didn’t have a bad beer between them. The foods paired well with the beers. Would highly recommend the jalapeño cream ale, pair it with the buffalo chicken dip if you’re snacking. The roasted cauliflower was also great from the lighter fares. For those that can’t decide what to try or need to round out a flight, Adam gave recommendations that were a hit. Locals should ask about and look into the mug loyalty program.
We went to K2 on a Saturday afternoon to kick off my best friend's bachelorette party and let me tell you, K2 did not disappoint. The brothers' mom, Lori provided us a tour of the brewery and explained the brewery process, followed by more tastings than I was expecting to receive, it was awesome! Lori wouldn't even accept a tip because she said she does it for fun and wants to help promote her sons' business (don't worry I passed a tip along anyways because it was well deserved)! They have an outdoor heated tent with yard games. The overall atmosphere at this brewery is awesome as well as the service! Also, if you don't like beer they do have other alcoholic beverage options. I 10/10 recommend this brewery!
I stop here on the way home from work at least once a week to grab a growler fill & try out whatever new beer they have and I am beyond impressed. Always a kind, welcoming staff with top tier beer. Their "flagship" Jalapeno Cream Ale is truly something, & any Cream Ale is just so Rochester NY that it hits home in a great way.
Good atmosphere. Great food! Fantastic beer!! Family friendly environment that's loud enough your kids can scream with joy playing any one of their various wooden table games without a complaint from the next table over, but not so loud you have to shout across the table. Games include Jenga, baseball, (full sized) darts. I can't wait for warmer weather to be able to enjoy the outdoor space too. The BBQ joint that operates out of the kitchen (Midnight Smokin' BBQ) offers some of the best smoked meats I've had in town. Their beers are some delicious, unique takes on otherwise usual craft beers. Please be sure to try their Winter Warmer.
My girlfriend and I went to Rochester for the weekend. Before leaving, we had looked up breweries to try while we were there. K2 brothers being was a definite stop for me, they had so many sours to choose from. It was a bit noisy in the enclosed patio area, but our waitress was wonderful (I wish I could renege her name to give her a shout out). The sours...WOW! The blackberry/boysensenberry plum sour is amazing, and the raspberry vanilla ale was delicious. If you have the chance you should definitely check this place out!
Went there to pick up "a few beers" for my family. Ended up staying for food and drinks. Staff was super friendly. Food was great. And the beer was amazing. I definitely plan on going here again and again.
Had an absolutely amazing time! Our server, Grace (who was working her first solo shift like a pro!!), was absolutely everything you could ever want in a server. She was fast, attentive, super funny and made sure we were always taken care of. Couldn't have asked for better service. I highly recommend trying out a flight of beer here. My personal favorite was surprisingly the pickle-juice flavored beer, which you would think would be an odd choice, but even for someone who usually doesn't drink beer, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Appetizers and food were very good. My only gripe was with the brisket sandwich. The bread was way too hard and crumbly, making it difficult to enjoy. If it had been just lightly toasted or honestly just not toasted at all, I think the sandwich would have been much better. Maybe a little less cheese sauce too so the brisket can shine.
My husband and I finally stopped into K2 last week. Our waitress, Hannah, was friendly and knowledgeable about the food and beer. My husband got a flight on Hannah's suggestion and he loved them all. It was late when we stopped in so we shared nachos. The sour cream was different but so good. We also loved the outdoor area with the lighting- it was such a nice place to sit and enjoy food and drinks. Overall we had a great experience and will definitely be back to try more food and beer.
Favorite brewery in the Rochester area. Great selection and the heated beer garden is a no brainer for our family brunch dates in the winter. I do hope they bring back the old brunch menu though, the cornbread skillet was our go-to!
Awesome experience. Great beers, great tacos, and a SUPER friendly staff. The owner took us on a private tour and was so helpful with our barrage of questions. His wife behind the bar was absolutely awesome. Their plans to expand and grow the business are exciting and will be an amazing addition to the Bay area. Stop here, you will love it!
Management seems like they run a tight ship. (Maybe overly tight.) They didn't accept takeout orders over the phone. It's ok though, when you go in the place is set up great. There's a good combination of places to stand and tables to sit at. The outdoor patio is amazing. Food service was surprisingly quick even though they were busy. (about 20 min) I had the brisket sandwich which was delicious and smokey. The chicken tacos, fries, and onion rings were also awesome. I had the orange cream ale which really did have some great orange taste and some fresh tanginess. I would definitely go again.
Wife and I stopped in for an afternoon date "night." I have had many collaborations for this place, but never visited it. This place was a great brewery with an eclectic food menu. All the apps looked good so we didn't make it too far down the menu, and everything was great! I especially liked the Steamed Bao Buns and my wife really liked her Crab Bisque. We also had the Bavarian Pretzels Sticks, the Loaded Nachos and the Loaded Mac n Cheese. Obviously our eyes were bigger than our stomach and we ended up taking the mac n cheese home, but everything was great. The pulled pork on the nachos and Mac and Cheese was delicious, so I'm sure the pull pork sandwich is good too. The beer menu for the day was heavy in the sours, which is not my favorite, but they had plenty of other options. I ordered the NEIPA and the Pineapple and Jalapeno Cream Ale and got a mixed four pack of each for home. They were obviously short staffed for an unusually busy Thursday Afternoon (how do you predict anything these days), but they were very friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable. Will go back and will be recommending to friends.
Way better than I expected but surprised at the same time. I thought the place was going to be WAY bigger. But it is the perfect size. The beers are great and the other customers are great. Perfect balance of bartenders and customers. Flavors are fantastic and the atmosphere is wonderful. Highly recommend
Absolutely love this place. The beer is delicious, the food tasty and the staff is super friendly and efficient. Shout out to Amanda who is a super fun waitress. Also be sure to check out the new back patio. What a great addition!
Great beer, service, and food. Beautiful patio. Only complaint is that the growler fills were more expensive than the 16oz 4-packs. Usually you would bring your own to save some money but thats not the case here which was a surprise. Highly recommend visiting and if you take something home I guess stick with the cans.
They have such a good garbage plate!! Enough for two people to share, so delicious. Great drinks too.
Great atmosphere, I'm not a huge fan of most of the beer..but that's just my taste. They have some amazing and unique mixed drinks though! They also have games such as connect 4, and a giant jenga. Makes it alot of fun! Edit. Went recently and they have ALOT more food items now. And they are SO GOOD! They also have more beer, and I loved several of them! An amazing place to go!plus our server was very attentive and just awesome.
One of the best breweries in Rochester. They have a lot of options and have new beers pretty much weekly. The sours are always my favorite. And the food is great too! Played in a cornhole league here too which was fun. They have a huge outdoor seating area and in the winter they cover it with a heated tent. Always enjoy visiting K2
Went last night with my husband for a fish fry and some beers. All very good and the food came out quickly watched some basketball. After we went out into the tent and there was a good crowd for the music. Just a great place to relax after work.
The new beer garden is better than you are expecting. They make the most out of the space with a beautiful area. Good distance from people so you can. Focus on your people but also enough room to have tons of patrons. The new frozen versions of the cocktails are amazing, especially the bourbon blackberry smash (I need that recipe). I will be back and soon.
The cutest beer garden in the area. It is so nice to sit by the fire and eat a snack while drinking a beer. The food is always delicious. The poutine is amazing! The staff is great. Hope to go back soon.
Was in town for a soccer tournament. My family and two other families came here based on two friends recommendations. They were right. Great spot when the weather is great. Great drinks. Great food. I haven’t had a garbage plate in 10-15yrs. It tasted just how i remember. It was delicious. Everyone’s burgers were great. The French onion soup is also great. Tons of drink options. Great spot for everyone Something for everyone. Thank you sooo much. We’ll be back.
K2 is one of our favorite breweries in Rochester! We've never had a bad meal here, whether it's the K2 Burger, Burrito or Shawarma Wrap, they're all great and the fries are delicious! The beer is even better though! It's hard not to get a flight every time we come here because there are too many awesome options to choose from. Their sours are the best but don't sleep on the jalapeno cream ale, which is underrated! They have live music occasionally and corn hole leagues during the summer as well. K2 is outstanding and highly recommended!
My husband and I stopped in to pick up some beer. We decided to stay for lunch and are so glad we did! My flight of slushies were amazing. The food was on point. The brisket was tender, the cheese sauce flavorful but not overwhelming, the fries and onion rings were nice and crispy! The portion sizes were great. Service was excellent as well. We definitely will be back.
BEST SUNDAY BRUNCH!! Local friends recommend K2 as one of the best breweries in the area. We decided to try brunch, and it was FANTASTIC. The staff was friendly and handled the busy morning well. The food was absolutely AMAZING. From cornbread skillets to pound cake French toast, everything was tasty. The beers were excellent as well, and we bought cans to take home. We can't wait to come back to K2. Highly recommended!!
The various beers that I have tried have been good or excellent. The food is very good and we love the atmosphere in the months when the patio is open. It's just beautiful to sit out there, almost like you're home partying on your own patio with a bunch of friends. Bonus is that it's very family friendly as well. People are comfortable bringing their children and it's not uncommon to see them toddling around playing Cornhole or chasing butterflies. Live music some nights too, so always something fun going on here
Tasty food and fun experience! Quality is impressive and menu is extensive compared to most brewery/bars/restaurant type places in the area where a simple burger, wings, pub pretzel etc is the norm. We ordered the Cuban, pulled pork, French onion soup, tangerine wheat beer, lemonade cookie beer, pineapple jalapeño beer, and alcoholic slushies, all were fresh, affordable, and fantastic! It's also worth noting the customer service is top tier. A gentleman (server I believe) offered my friend and I a chair for my backpack and her purse as we were seated outside and had just set them on the ground - so thoughtful! We also heard him offer a customer who looked cold seated on the patio a "coat fresh out of the washer" seriously, can't make this up! Atmosphere felt great to chill with friends, or family. You will definitely enjoy your time here 😊
The taproom space, bar, and the biergarten out back are well thought out and inviting. Don't worry when you roll up if it looks like a warehouse because it's really nice inside and out back. Nice selection of beers on tap which is about 15 +/- cider which they had 3-4 on tap when we were there. IPAs, stout, sours, even a sour IPA which I enjoyed. 3 nitro taps as well. Very good beer. Friendly service and they obviously have regulars as they have their steins on the shelves surrounding the taps. Glad to see they have food which looked good, but we're did not sample that day. You can also see their fermenters thorugh the window in the front. About 10 picnic tables and 3 groups of Adirondack chairs with another bar, curb hole and other games in the biergarten. Parking in a pretty good size lot in the front, but can get crowded.
K2 is always an enjoyable stop. The beers are generally pretty solid and they offer a good variety. Food and service is also good. Can get a bit busy, even during COVID but it's been nice to stop by again and sit down now that we're vaccinated. Also love that they'll occasionally do mixed 4 packs to go.
Five stars for service, atmosphere and beer. The food was good. The French onion soup and onion rings were amazing. The burger was decent but my friend's Cuban was very dry. It was not a Cuban... looked like they used the same pork as the pulled pork sandwich. I would very much recommend though, and if I'm ever in Rochester again, I'll go for at least the beer!!
The beer is good and the staff is very nice. They have some standouts that are worth trying, like the scotch ale which is malty but a good exemplar of the style. I'd recommend staying away from the food. The concept is good but it comes out room temperature and not very appetizing. The kitchen isn't being run well.
Great place. Wonderful personable service. Presentation of drinks, flights A+. Very clean, comforting decor & design. Good food. Nice they have a children's menu. A little larger menu selection with a few more healthier choices would be nice down the road. Only negative is the accoustics,. Very loud, difficult to converse and when placing orders or to remain for a lengthy period.
Very cool place. Loved the beers, friendly service. Only thing was the live music was a bit loud so it was hard to talk and catch up with friends I haven’t seen in a while and with the NCAA March madness on I wish that the large wood square spot above the taps had a large tv there- seems like a perfect spot for one.
Very good place! Didn’t entirely love their beer selection, but i prefer darker beers and they only had a couple options in that category. Food was excellent though! Definitely go on Sunday - brunch menu available all day.
Staff was amazing and hard working. The chicken and waffles were delicious. Chicken was crispy and well prepared with a juicy interior. The waffles were more like a funnel cake / donut with a slight cruch given from the crystallized vanilla sugar exterior, which was a wonderful surprise compared to regular waffles. The DDH NEIPA was good( had a nice brightness in flavor as well as a touch of sweetness, luscious smooth mouth feel) as well as their Blue Raspberry( delivered in a punch of natural flavor not synthetic tastings at all) but the stouts and some of the other beers could have used a higher grain bill and maybe some oatcream fortification for a fuller bodied/ better mouth feel. Don't necessarily agree with some of the hop choices for the stout and sours. However, we love supporting small businesses and everyone was having time.
Great place to hang out with friends and have some drinks especially on a nice summer night. There is a large outdoor patio with lots of seating. They have fire pits to sit around and Cornhole to play. Their cocktails and beer are very tasty. We also grabbed a bite to eat. I had the buffalo chicken wrap with a side of French onion soup. I found it odd and I was disappointed that my soup came in a small cast iron pan instead of a crock and there was more croutons and cheese than soup, but verything had good flavor. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will be returning.
Nice setup inside, they have a nice outside patio as well. We enjoyed sitting at the bar. Tried several flights and couldn’t find a flavor I didn’t like. They had lagers, IPA’s, sours, slushies etc. tried the Mahi Tacos which were also fantastic. Only reason for the 4 instead of 5 stars is that they had a lot of bar staff but they seemed more interested in talking to each other instead of paying attention to customers.
K2 is one of my favorite breweries in all of Rochester. The reality is that many people feel the same, and even with their massive property and space, it often feels too crowded. Aside from that, their beer is phenomenal (best Sours in NY), their food is great, and they have Corn Hole in the summer. I definitely recommend checking them out!
First time here. Was overall very impressed. There is no table service. So, everything you want to order.....you go to the bar. They have a ton of beer, wine, mixed drinks and pop to choose from. I did a flight of 4 beers...all were pretty good. The jalapeno beer definitely is spicy! The menu is relatively small, but has enough for variety. Again, you order the food at the bar. They then give you a pager and you pick it up from the window when it's ready. The food was pretty good, not amazing. I had the philly cheese steak and it was REALLY messy! There was a lot of beer cheese which almost overwhelmed the other flavors. Their hand cut fries were awesome! Homemade pickles were more on the sweet side than dill. The bathrooms were clean. There were also a ton of table games if that interests you. Overall, really neat place. Would definitely go back.
We had brisket burgers. They were ok. Not alot of brisket like the picture they have inside on a screen. The burger was dry too fir medwell. The fries and Mac and cheese were great. Beer was good. Nice atmosphere.
Vibe and atmosphere are super cool, hipster cool vibe, love the outside section has a very comfortable feel. Now the service and food are shocking and need serious help. I think the kitchen and service need some serious Gordon Ramsey help. Hope you guys get it fixed soon.
Interesting, fun, lively place. Greeter was friendly. Both brands of Chardonnay were un-oaked, what's up with that? I know, it's a beer place, but still. There aren't any menus -- anywhere (strange). The poutine had a small amount of gravy and it tasted like pork -- it was pork poutine -- kind of gross. The smoked cauliflower was interesting. The rueben bites were delish. The outside area is very cool. Want to go back and try a flight of beer.
Absolutely beautiful outdoors space, 5 stars, but indoors is cramped and annoying and the beer is consistently mediocre. Fine if you just want to hang outside and get out of the house.
Good Beer but when you enter some one greets you and speaks in a manner talks like I can't trust you and has to escort you outside and she has to pick your pick table! The tables are already 6 ft apart. Do they actually think I am stupid and can't seat my self? The waitress was nice. Its just the door lady that gives a bad impression
Love it there but the loco nachos special Were not good. $14 and literally it was just Chips and a small amount of corn and cheese on it. No sour cream and salsa on the side. Very dry
Beautiful outdoor patio! Great service outside. Excellent cornhole setup. Handful of nicely done fire pits. Service inside at the bar was not good. Half empty bar and the bartender let me stand there waiting while he put tray after tray of glasses away, looking at me every few glasses but still not taking my order. Next time at the bar I had to ask for service because the bartender was chatting up a few women that all had full glasses. Waaaaaay too IPA and sour heavy menu. No stouts, porters, browns, saisons, lagers, pilsners, etc... I'll visit again for the outdoor patio but really wish they had a better beer selection. Very happy that they don't let kids run around and be loud like other breweries do!
I love the atmosphere, the location, music etc- BUT - not being allowed to have a taste of wine before purchase is absurd!!! The wine that was poured was not great, probably open to long. I am in the wine business and this behavior makes no sense. Not sure I will be back, your bartender was also quite rude when I asked questions.
Horrible service. Walked in sat down no one came to the table. Got up had to get own menu and had to go to the bar to order food and drinks. Very nice outdoor area to eat even though table was dirty. They at least brought your food to the table but didn’t ask if we needed anything else like water. No one checks on you throughout your meal. The food made up for the poor service because it was delicious! Improve service.
Lots of interesting beers that make for a good flight. Food is pretty terrible, has made me sick twice so I wouldn't ever eat there again. It's a really cool location and they have a great setup though. Lots of space outside and a large parking lot. I do wonder if they will be open much longer with how far behind they are on property taxes.
Server was awful, never checked on us, never could get his attention to even get a refill of water! Asked for burger to be med rare, came well done. Told him no pickled onions on burger and it was smothered in them. He should not be a server. Couldn’t careless attitude of a server. I guess if you want to just go for a drink its safe!
Ever since K2 has gotten really popular the quality of the location on Empire has fallen right off. The speed of service is horrible, the QR codes don’t even come close to what’s actually on tap. They keep posting all these new beers on Facebook that you can never find at the brewery. Quality of food and service is just subpar for the price you pay
The NE style IPA was good. The food was solid. They used to be a lot more kid friendly and to be honest. The staff pretty much made our group feel as though our family wasn’t really welcome. I appreciated the casual atmosphere they used to have. Unfortunately if seated at a table you have to be served by a mediocre server instead of walking up and ordering. We won’t be going back
Not your typical happy-go-lucky brewery. Wait staff was not friendly. Did not care for the culture of this place and we were even joking with the table next to us about how rotten the employees were. There are much better options in Rochester to enjoy a nice afternoon. The outdoor area is nice and comfortable, hence two stars. We tried 8 varieties of beer and did not care for any.
Disappointed. The beer was mediocre at best. The food was okay - fiance's burger was average and I ordered cauliflower (the only "mainish" vegan option and of course they were out of cauliflower. The German mustard has mayo in it? What? The servers were overloaded, we waited nearly 20 minutes to even put a drink order in. Ouch. Cool atmosphere though.. BYOB and BYOF. 🙃
I will start with this, the blue razz sour was great. The food, was not worth the the money at all. I tried the special of the week, a pulled chicken sandwich with choice of side. The fries were good, but the sandwich itself was just ok, it looked like it would be good. The chicken was over cooked and chopped into tiny bits and pieces. The carrot slaw was interesting would have liked a little more I think. However the bbq sauce wasn’t really there and had bones left inside. It was a good thing it was the side of the sandwich I was eating just the insides and not with the bread. The side of bread and butter pickles were so salty and mushy I couldn’t eat more than one. The cost of dinner was not what we ended up getting with our meals. I would come back for drinks, but would likely go somewhere else for food.
We went at around 9pm on Friday night. Were locals and have never been and figured let’s try it out. Love the outdoor set up! We ordered fries and wings, wings were incorrect- asked for mild/garlic parm. Sent them back and still can’t back incorrect. Place was fairly dead for a Friday night so we had the dart boards to ourselves, we left our drinks and food at the table for my partner to have a cigarette (this was at 10:27pm when they close at 11:00pm). We came back in within a few moments to finish our meal, drinks and dart game and were greeted with our table cleared off, essentially a full order of both the wings and fries, Girl saying oh sorry we’re closing. I would visit this establishment again for day drinking or what may have you, but overall not impressed and felt very rushed out when I was aware they were closing at 11pm.
Came here to be with family for a night out. It took 15 minutes standing at the bar waiting for service while the bar person literally seemed to ignore me to wait on men who came up behind and beside me. It then took her another five minutes to read the ingredients for the drinks only to leave out the vodka for my daughter's drink. The manager was nice. The wait staff are very lacking in competence. I understand if your new. But bar persons should know how to mix drinks or don't bartend. The two stars are for the food. Very good. Owners take notice. You need to make sure your staff know their jobs before you hire them.
No greeting, no service, no menus or wifi. Waited without being acknowledged, unclear how we were supposed to order anything. On a positive note, we received a friendly goodbye as we left.
Been on the fence about posting this. A while back I watched someone change their babies blow out of a diaper on a table outside. I suggested to the host that they should have a changing table I was met with "we are a brewery". With the amount of families that go here, you would hope the business would be more accommodating.
Probably should add something on your website that no dogs are allowed. Drove an hour to try your brewery and have been to tons of breweries that always welcomed dogs.
Beer was above average which was nice. However, Father's Day brunch ended sour. A Waitress reprimanded me for allowing my 3 year old daughter to play on the unoccupied corn hole lane. There was no sign indicating this is "18 and over". I can absolutely appreciate the 21 and over section however, make the choice to be family friendly or not. Certainly don't have the audacity to scold a patron in front of everyone. As other reviewers have commented, be weary of bringing children.
Was told to seat ourselves, we did and waited for service. Thought maybe we are supposed to go to the bar ourselves to get drinks and menus. Stood at the bar and was completely stared at and had her turn her back to us. The guys next to us shook their heads. We then left. We whete extremely disappointed as whenever we are in town from Tennessee we come in to what was a favorite spot.
I gave them a one star, because I enjoyed the beer and the amenities, however, that is all these folks are good at. The food was subpar at best, and no wings on the menu of a distillery. The humongous, unwashed hair bar tender, grossly shoved food in her mouth from under the bar the entire time we were there. She chewed like it was cud with her mouth open. It disgusted me. This is the second time I have been here, and both times have been the same. I don’t want to put my credit card in someone’s hands when I’m going to pay cash, but here, they make you before they can serve you. I’m sure these guys must not know what’s happening in their own restaurant, otherwise they would know that the reason they never seem busy is because of the people they have working there. I don’t want to scan a QR code, I want a menu. I DO NOT WANT TO WATCH “Jabba the Hutt”, eat with her mouth open behind the bar. I don’t want to see the manager drinking at the bar, and watching “JABBA” eat in front of customers. I mean come on. Get it together. This could be a really great place, you have all of the amenities, but without good wait staff and bartenders, and reliably good food, why waste your time and money. You can contact me if you have any questions on my review, and I look forward to hearing from the OWNERS. I will reiterate what I have posted here.
We had delicious beers and a good server but when we got 3 burgers the two of us who could eat them had to leave chunks we couldn’t even chew threw and the third person who took one bite and simply couldn’t eat it i asked we they could return hers but the waitress who seemed happy too and told us she wasn’t impressed by the food herself but the manager wouldn’t let us send it back.. it should be embarrassing to be so in love with 10 dollars you would ruin an experience for everyone at the table. Shocked honestly
Nice backyard area and that's about it. None of the beers or ciders were any good. Don't bring kids there! The staff are on a mission to make sure they don't play or have fun. "You can't have kids play corn hole." No adult was playing at the time. The table across from us said the same thing about how they treated their little one. When we were leaving we heard one employee say to another employee "you're wish is coming true". Not cool. Maybe after a few more bad reviews mentioning their customer service and treatment of young ones, they will get it and make changes.
This place is a complete disaster. My family tried to take me here today for Father’s Day and after walking in we just left. We walked in to a sign saying “ seat yourself and when you’re ready to order go to the bar.” I’ve never been to a brewery where I have to get up and order my own food and drinks for myself and family. There’s this crazy concept called wait staff that do that for you. Then all that aside I speak to someone there and they let me know it’s a hour and a half wait for food tickets we just left and will never come back
What happened?!? K2 has been a favorite of ours since it opened its doors. In the beginning, the menu was slim because they were new but the beer was fantastic. Going to K2 was a weekly visit for us and we looked forward to it every week or so. WELL LIKE THEY SAY, all good things must come to an end and IT ENDED 4/6/24. Went in for dinner/ drinks to find a menu which was completely cut down to less options than when they opened the doors. The beer seemed different. The food was dreadful. This experience truly came as a shock as I believed K2 was waaaaay better than this. The last few times we have come in, it seemed like it was in decline but we assumed it was the winter months and k2 is really known for their outdoor patio and summer vibe. But after tonight I’m convinced. The soggy food. The subpar beer and the staff have made k2 a letdown. The bar tender we had tonight looked like they just got done at the gym or something. (Muddy shoes, greasy hair and hanging out all over the place). There’s a cleanliness factor that should be looked into. I’m sorry to be rough with this review but guys, this is sad. I know you have the new place but that’s no excuse. Close this one if you don’t care anymore. We will always buy k2 beer maybe at wegmans or on tap somewhere else. But as for the brewery in Webster, we won’t be returning. Sincerely, customers since you opened.
My experience today as April 29 I was excited to try this new place for me then I left very disappointed. The wait was way too long . The food not so much I order the Cuban sandwich I travel lot of places and this one was the worse I ever try sorry not sorry is the true someone need to travel to Miami and takes note how to make a real Cuban sandwich .
Came here to have a quick bite to eat and some drinks on our trip back to syracuse from buffalo had our dog with us and pulled in only to get to the outdoor area with a sign that said no pets allowed. With an outdoor section..this is not really anything I would have expected especially coming from a brewery. Won't be back again indoor or outdoor.
