ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS, everything is cooked to perfection! one of my favorite restaurants in Rochester! On my way there right now :) I love this place. Not to mention that people that work there are warm and kind which makes it even better.

First of all I loved the fact that this place is halal since I’ve been having a hard time finding spiced food as a Muslim since I came for college. The food here was honestly great, it was flavored well where it wasn’t not too much but also not too little. The chicken kebab for the platter I got had a hint of lemon taste which I really enjoyed. It was really chewy, bur I didn’t mind. Plus the portion of the food I got (it came with soup as well) was very surprising. I also got tea and the kettle was full of at least 4 cups, it was very relaxing. The person who accommodated us and works at the front is very friendly and respectful. Everyone seemed to do their own thing and I liked how peaceful it was. Me and my friend were there for quite some time since we eat slow and were there to celebrate, but no one said anything or was in a rush for us to leave. I honestly loved this place. I would come again with more friends, they have great food at a reasonable price and lovely service. 10/10 rec!

Ordered takeout and the falafel and pita bread were the best! The pita went so well with the hummus and the falafel was crispy and soft. Would come again if I lived in the area!

Authentic Iraqi/Middle Eastern cuisine is served here. The owner goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. The food is delicious and the service is fast. There is ample parking. The owner gave us free desserts and a jug of hot tea.

Always a wonderful place to stop by, the staff is always amazing (fast service, occasionally stopping by for a quick chat, offering free baklava and tea). The food is incredible, some of the best and most authentic Middle-Eastern/ Levant cuisine I’ve ever had. Notable standouts are the lamb kofta and gyro platter, both of which have become new addictions for me. Overall, a restaurant that deserves to be far and beyond more popular and successful than it currently is.

This place is just delightful. Every time I visit I feel like I'm treated as family. The team is so lovely and kind. The pita wraps are absolutely deliveries. As are the pastries. And it seems every time I visit, they bring out some additional treat for us. It is a joy to eat here. It may not look like much but the heart is in the people and the food.

I had a great experience at Babylon Middle Eastern Food. I ordered the chicken shawarma and the chicken thigh, and both were absolutely delicious—flavorful, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The portions were generous and clearly made with care. What really stood out, though, was the customer service. The owner was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was perfect, and even offered free drinks, which was such a nice touch. Amazing food and genuinely warm hospitality—I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others.

The food is excellent. It's not a fancy place, you order from the counter, but they bring you your food. Usually some samples to taste. The people are very friendly and the service is great. Highly recommended.

This place has been the best Thai restaurant in Rochester for decades. I've been going year for years and years and it's ALWAYS delicious. Staff is very nice and efficient, prices are reasonable, and portion sizes are excellent. The curries are absolutely incredible. Thank you!

While visiting 13 years ago we had the Evil Jungle Prince (available as Veggie or several meat choices). We loved it & haven't found it since in other areas. We were nearby visiting again & just had to stop in for the same great Thai dish - my favorite! Our waitress was awesome too! Thanks King & I !!!

Everytime I go here I am completely blown away from the serving sizes and the exquisite taste varieties. This is the best Thai restaurant in NYS handsdown. I have spent a small portion of my life living in Thailand, and am also so impressed with how close this is to the food of Bangkok, Phattai and Phuket. I can't speak regarding the food I Changmai and the outskirts near the northern borders where the food blends with other cultures, but I can say this is absolutely what you might see if going to Thailand. The Thai tea was extremely sweaty to offset the extremely spicy food (I have a high heat tolerance for spice, so always get some extra house chili oil spice to add) I highly recommend Nam Sod as a started, add some of their homemade chili oil to it to start your day off. The beef satay skewers are always a.azing with the peanut sauce and cucumber marinated in vinegar. If you're a hankering for some good seafood I highly recommended the Evil Jungle Prince Seafood. In the end highly recommend!

20250816:: was packed for a saturday evening which is great. the food arrived very fast. i had the curry pork which had a 3 pepper rating. i asked if they can make it hotter, waitress said i can do 1 level more to 4 peppers. it was still not burny enough. then she brought out the chili oil. it didn't do anything. the sauce was watery, i prefer a thicker sauce.

Casual but nice and decored. Great lunch special prices. Fun booths. Good sized / huge portions . Extensive menu and generous with the ingredients. How can this not be a favorite place to get decent Thai food in far upstate New York? I got the phat pret with shrimp. Which is maybe line panang curry? And I loved the addition of snow peas. And my friend got a vegetarian pad Thai that looked very good. Will certainly come back .

Went here for a late lunch and even at 2 pm on a weekday there were plenty of people at the restaurant. My partner and I each had the lunch special with vegetarian soup, veggie spring roll and one entree of choice. For entrees we chose one vegetarian seasame tofu and one basil vegetable noodles. The noodles came with rice on the side which was weird ! 😂 Nevertheless everything tasted great, and fresh. And plenty of clearly marked vegetarian options.

Looking for a Thai food in Rochester? Stop searching and visit this restaurant. Perfect food, service, atmosphere. Servers are professional and very friendly. Unlike some of other Asian restaurants where you can only drink ONE cup of water, they keep coming to your table and filling you water!!! The most important part of this restaurant is the taste. It tastes very authentic, not salty and perfectly balanced flavor. Moreover, you can CHOOSE the spicy level depending on your spicy tolerance! Tried few other restaurants but this place is the best in Rochester so far.

Not your typical restaurant, but the food is amazing. The kabobs were great. Baklava tasted very fresh. Dolma and baba ghanouj were good too! Will go back.

This was our first time visiting and ordering food at the recommendation of a friend. She was right, the Mediterranean food (Syrian I believe) was very tasty. The young woman behind the counter who took our order and brought our food to the table was an absolute delight. She understands customer service, and we really appreciated that. 👍

Not a great first impression when we sat down and the table was sticky to the point where when I moved the napkin part of it ripped and I couldn't move the little dish that was holding the salt and pepper. It was like glued to the table so that was not a great first impression, but the food was the food was very tasty, but I wouldn't say it's Thai food. It's more Thai inspired or Thai style or Asian fusion because my wife is Thai and she was confused by the menu. Not not knowing what evil jungle Prince was and some of the other some of the Thai dishes were spelled wrong. So it definitely feels like Thai inspired or Thai style, but it seems more Chinese food with ty flair. So you'll see like beef with broccoli and and stuff and then sweet and sour chicken which is more of a Chinese style than a Thai style. But most people probably wouldn't matter because unless they've been to a traditional authentic Thai restaurant probably won't nitpick you know in apples to apples you know for most people I would say overall clean except obviously through the table but that could have been a fluke. So I only took off one star for that and I took off. The one star is also because of the food not being really Thai food but Thai adjacent. But again, that might not matter if you're not a big Thai authentic person like I like pad see ew and Lad na but we noticed later when my wife took the paper menu and me believing that they were there they were just spelled wrong. They also have a lunch special with about 10 12 choices. The lunch. The lunch size was fairly big. My wife said it looked more like the dinner size but I don't know what how large the dinner or entree size is, but you get a pretty good amount of food for lunch

The King and I Cuisine of Thailand was a pretty good experience overall. The outer facade looks like it has not had attention in a long time, but inside it is nice and quaint with some decorations and a few side areas away from the open dining area. Food: great. Evil Jungle Prince Chicken very tasty and the mango with sweet rice was excellent. Service: quick. Curt but not unpleasant. Atmosphere: nice quiet space with decorations that are good for a solo or group outings.

The food is delicious and the staff is nice. They speak pretty clear English and are attentive. The restaurant could use some cleaning, but is decent. My son and I loved the food we ordered and will order again. Maybe takeout next time though.

I ordered the fresh vegetable roll appetizer, and the Wild Curry Vegetable for my entree. I also decided to try a Thai beer for the first time. The portion sizes here are absolutely huge! The food is so full of flavor, and so good! The atmosphere was pretty quiet, and the floor plan is very wide open and spread apart. The service was extremely fast, and mostly friendly. The only downside was I felt like I was being rushed out of the restaurant. I was asked if I wanted a to go box after I had barely started on my meal.

Food was salty, especially the Lar Nar dish (thick & flat noodles with a starchy gravy). The tomyum soup was a little too sweet for my liking. Service was pretty good though!

I was rather disappointed. As with ever other place the prices have gone up while the quality of the has gone down. The food was just ok also there is NO fried rice. The server was border line rude because we asked her questions and then she didn't follow our directions when we received our order. That's just plain pitiful! Seriously since when do your kitchen duties in the middle of the dining area where I'm eating. It's not what I want to see!!!

First time I had ever ate here and ended up with food poisoning. I would 10 out of 10 would not recommend this place unless your looking for a diet from puking and going to the bathroom aka a liquid expulsion diet. . Never would I recommend wasting your money.

Had not been there in years. Has declined significantly. Food quality was poor to marginal. Sweet & Sour Pork had virtually no pork in it. Food was not fresh.....we were served our dinner about 3 minutes after ordering. Must have been sitting in a pot ready to be served. Staff not very friendly. Was dark inside, bathrooms were filthy, and someone was vacuuming during dinner service. The only reason it gets 2 stars is price. Do not recommend.

Food was subpar, not sure why it got good reviews. You can smell a "rush" environment in everything here. Service was pretty fast but that's all you care? From the waitress to the dishes, everything was in a rush! Food was not delicate at all. Can you tell one of dishes is duck? It is hidden under all the vegetables that's rushed in. Even for fried rice, lots of unnecessary veggies made their way in. Tradition pad Thai looks like it is made by someone who doesn't know pad Thai. Overall very disappointed. The waitress was honest and said that her boss asked them to check on customers once they are not eating. From top to bottom, they always rush. What can you expect?
