Love love love!! Everything served came out pretty quickly and hot. The fries were crispy and the okra was amazing. The sandwiches were delish and I can’t wait to go back to try more on their menu :)

Visited for my son's Birthday for breakfast on a Tuesday and it was not too busy inside. There were 2 servers and the service was quick. We had a special request for the crepes to have the fruit and whipped cream inside for our son and they were kind enough to do that. The Mexican Omlete was delicious and my husband's ribeye was cooked to perfection. Would definitely visit again.

Such an awesome experience. Amazing food. Sooooo tasty. Sweet and helpful staff. Kristy was helping us with our orders and she was so awesome. I enjoyed my breakfast very much. The order came with I believe two sides which for me was fruit and grit. Every thing was delicious. The price was so affordable that o thought they just have been make a mistake in my check. Definitely recommend it.

Awesome breakfast! The food was great! I highly recemmend eating here if you get a chance. They also have very attentive waitresses/waiters. Will definitely be eating here again.

Good friendly place to eat. I like the small town restaurant vibe it gives. A really good sized menu to choose from and didn't have to wait long. Clean place, good food and good service. It cost about $30 for two adult meals but FYI they offer discounts to police, fire fighters and military.

This place is in dire need of a plate warmer, they must store the plates in a refrigerator, my plate was so cold that the food was cold 2 minutes after it was delivered. The Food is decent, but the portions are getting smaller which I'm sure is a trade off for keeping the prices down. Wait staff is friendly and attentive, but not overly observant.

Review for Lakewood Cafe I went with my son after hearing so many people rave about the pancakes here. I’ll admit, I was excited and had built up some pretty high expectations. The coffee was very good, the bacon was tasty, and the pancakes were solid — but they didn’t quite hit the “amazing” level I had imagined. Maybe I overhyped them in my head, or maybe they’re just a reliable choice rather than something extraordinary. The eggs cooled off quickly, which is pretty common, so not a big deal. Overall, it’s a decent breakfast spot with good coffee and solid food, just not quite the standout experience I was anticipating.

This place used to be awesome, but today was obviously an off day. $5 for moldy berries, hair in the bacon, and our waitress ignored us. We probably won't try here again for a long while.

I love this place. The place wasn’t busy food came out quickly. If you love paninis don’t get the Cuban chicken panini. It was so SOGGY :/ and the chicken was crunchy. The chicken just kept on leaking so much juice 😂

Favorite near by bistro without having to travel. The 2×4 is always filling! I substituted the pancakes for a banana nutella crepe which was average. I personally should of stuck to my usual belguim waffle. My Daughter ordered her usual chorizo skillet with a side of avocado which was "chief kiss" as she would say. Also I ordered the classic burger which was pretty good. My overall stay was very welcoming and would recommend to anyone.

I really hate to give such a low rating as we had high hopes, but this was a bit of a disappointment. Service was great! We had Maddie and she was attentive and just wonderful! No issues there. The atmosphere was okay. Our table was a little dirty when we sat down but Maddie got it cleaned up for us. The food was just not cutting it. I ordered 2 eggs, sausage, hash browns, a biscuit, and gravy. The hash browns tasted old and were too crunchy. The biscuit was cold in spots and tasted as if it had been sitting in the fridge. Luckily, I was able to swap them out for the breakfast potatoes and wheat toast. The breakfast potatoes and toast were good. However, the potatoes seemed liked they were out of a bag. They were still good but just saying. The eggs were good. The sausage was okay at first but it tasted a bit like the great value sausages you get from Walmart. Unfortunately, I would just expect better from a place in this area.

I went here to kill time and eat breakfast. It was not good at all. The waitress was sweet but the breakfast was awful. It's like they cooked after frying asian fried rice! Literally they sat us close to the kitchen and it smelled like pure garlic. My hash browns tasted like pure garlic and soy sauce with oil. Same with my eggs and pan cakes. Me my son looked at each other and just poked around the food, made an icky face paid and left. We went to Waffle House instead. What a waste of money about $34 with tip!

I normally really love to go here. My mom as well, she is the person that introduced this place to me. Unfortunately, after today, I doubt we will go back again. We were sat at a table right away, only to have to sit there waiting for almost 20 minutes without anyone coming to our table to even ask about drinks. We witnessed 2 other groups seated after us that received there food before us. I had my 1 year old son with me and he normally does well but from having to just sit there for so long he started getting fussy. I finally brought it to the attention of the staff member that seated us and he had to go find someone to serve us. We were very disappointed with this experience, we wanted to leave there and then but did not want to drive and wait somewhere else and waste more time.
