***Happy Hour Chronicles*** So I've been wanting to try this place for a while and was excited to be going for their "peach week" special + happy hour. I tried a peach daiquiri and my friend had the peach margarita, both were strong but fairly tasty. We both also enjoyed the "boss lady" drink off their limited happy hour menu featuring a cute basil leaf garnish, that drink was the favorite because it was actually pretty refreshing and not overly strong. For food I would highly recommend the barbacoa tacos and arancini, those were both delicious! I feel like for a happy hour this place is still a little pricey, but if that doesn't matter to you then definitely check it out 👏🏽
A new tapas/small plate place from a great, local chef. They had a good selection of drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. The menu was simple, affordable and a range of tapas/small plate options. The food was DELICIOUS, and perfect for these hot summer days. The service was fantastic, as they were both friendly and tentative to our needs. Plenty of seating, both at the bar or at tables throughout. It was busy with people after work and seemed like a great place to get happy hour and a light bite to eat! Definitely will come back with friends.
Came here for some drinks and food before a show and the atmosphere is such a fun vibe! Drinks and food came out quickly after they were ordered and the cocktails were some of the best I’ve had. The old fashioned and their bananas in pajamas are delightful! For food I ordered a chicken plate, a side of airfried brussel sprouts, and crème brûlée for dessert. Will definitely come back again!
Ju Ju kitchen and cocktails 1501 L St, Sacramento, CA 95814 The water was nice Really cold with no ice. And it was HOT outside. We ordered the lamb empanada,. Meatballs and marinara sauce, roasted mushrooms and a pitta and hummus plate. Hummus was so good I could just eat it before without the pitta bread. The mushrooms have an all natural delicious fresh flavor. They were roasted just right. The meatballs with marinara sauce clearly some special recipe amazing. The lamb empanada was out of this world. Small portions and the flavor more than makes up for it.
Food was delicious! But keep in mind the small plates are small so if you’re hungry, order 2-3 small plates. Highly recommend the goat cheese salad and the marinara meatballs! The cocktails looked good, but I couldn’t decide what I wanted so I just got wine. Definitely a cute instagrammable spot if you’re into that kind of thing.
The food was amazing. We had the fried goat cheese, beef tacos and braised beef. Hands down the braised beef with polenta was out of this word. The cocktail and wine collection was great. Will be back soon.
I'm sure the food is incredible, but we only had drinks. (After reading the menu, for sure food next time.) The bartenders are super friendly and listened to my terrible stories with delight. It's a very bright and clean atmosphere that is connected to a hotel (in case you can't find it) I had a watermelon sugar high and then bosslady. Very delicious cocktails, I'm not easily impressed. Would 100% come back here.
Super cute interiors, delicious cocktails and yummy small plates! Juju's is my new favorite spot for afterwork drinks! Excellent craft drink menu and about 10-12 small plates options, with plenty of vegetarian choices! Would highly recommend the falafel, aranchini's, calamari, and goat cheese plate!

We visited Juju twice during our three-day trip to Sacramento. Cocktails were incredibly well-crafted. Their peach old fashioned was one of the best I've had. My wife had their non-alcoholic grapefruit cocktail and loved it too. The ambiance was modern and light/airy. Service was great. Food felt optional, like it took a backseat to the drinks - but the food was also excellent!
While on a solo work trip to Sac, I conjured up the emotional capital to not order room service and made my way to a solo dinner at Juju. It was so well worth it. The bartender immediately acknowledged me and made me feel welcomed and less awkward. While enjoying a glass of the house Malbec, I admired the simple and warm decor. I enjoyed the flavorful and delicious grilled shrimp with garlic scampi sauce. I had the non-traditional Caesar salad. My brain went into a panic when I saw the Caesar topped with tomatoes and cucumbers in place of croutons, but my waistline and tastebuds were overjoyed. While sipping the Malbec, I also observed the staff be angels. A man on a wheelchair rolled in to the Juju. He appeared to be homeless and a few of the other guests had unwelcoming reactions to the man in the wheelchair. The Juju staff treated the man with respect and kindness and filled his water bottle and he went along his way. On top of a full belly of delicious food, dining at the Juju reminded me that kindness lives.
You can't go wrong at this lovely upscale establishment. You can come in jeans and a t-shirt. The decor is inviting but what will keep you coming back is the leveled up cocktails and the delicious food. Staff is super friendly! They often are booked for private event so keep that in mind when coming. You may want to call in advance. Did I mention that most of their menu is gluten free?!?
Best cocktails in town!! Hands down!! Amazing prices for happy hour! I've been a bartender for over 10 years and never have I wanted to try all the cocktails on any menu before till I came here! I had 4 different ones.. Definitely coming back to try the others! Even the mocktails my friend ordered were good The small bite were delicious also We reordered some! 😋 I thought the bill would be in the 200's and it was only half that! All the drinks and small bites we had I was happily shocked on how low the bill actually was! 4.7 stars I rate would definitely be 5 stars if the bartender/owner smiled more and tried to be lil more social if they have time. May i suggest they leave the anchor glass pitcher with the guest for the short water glass to be refilled quicker.
Absolutely delightful! Went before a show at the Music Circus and enjoyed the all day happy hour on Saturday. The cocktail menu is fantastic, with creative twists on classics. The happy hour small plates were fantastic as well! The decor is also well done. Overall, highly recommend!

The food was delicious. The shrimp and meatballs had tons of flavor. The lava cake and crème brûlée were rich but decedent. The calamari had least amount of flavor. Good gluten free options. The music was a bit loud which contrasted the atmosphere and vibe.
This place is really cute and doesn’t give a hotel bar vibes. You wouldn’t even know it was part of a hotel if you didn’t have to go through the hotel to use the bathroom lol came here for drinks and the starters. I wouldn’t necessarily say the apps are shareable‘s depending on how hungry you are, but overall pretty good tasting. The drinks are good! The service was great, they allowed us to push a couple tables together for a bigger group which was appreciated.
Good hotel bar that doesn't feel entirely like a hotel bar. Haven't tried the food yet. Bartender was busy, but fast and polite service. I recommend the Jingle Juice (rum pineapple) and El Diablo (tequila black currant). Sleigh All Day (vodka pomegranate) and Golden Hour (grapefruit G&T) were both a bit one-note.
The atmosphere & the music was not the best but overall okay. Now, the cocktails are Great!, and the Appetizers and food so Good! I was expecting the chicken plate to be a little larger, but the taste and tenderness was Amazing. I would go again.
The staff, space and ambiance are spot on! The drink selection is unique and I would love to have each and every one of them. The only issue I had was with the tapas menu. I ordered the Hummus w/Pita, Blue Cheese Stuffed Pear and Meatballs and Marinara. The Hummus had the consistency of melted ice cream, it was bland. The only redeeming component was the pita bread I was quite excited about the Blue Cheese Stuffed Pear with a salad. It would have been nice had the pear been warm and the cheese not smashed, it neither resembled or tasted like blue cheese. Eating a cold pear w cold blue cheese was off. Finally, the Meatballs in Marinara was not good. The golf ball sized meatballs were crunchy on the outside yet moist inside. They were most likely frozen or they made a batch a few days ago and popped in an air fryer. The marinara was non existent, it was canned tomato sauce. No parmesean just frozen meatballs and tomatoe sauce. Now will I return? YES! The bartenders are great and so were the drinks. Next time, I'll eat first.

Hotel bar and restaurant, but good. Great bartender. Happy hour deals. They keep the menu small but the choices are pretty good. The waiter dude was curt at best. Bad day or something. He walked away from us while I was in mid sentence. I admit that I have always had a small studer but I do expect basic respect, the same I give to everyone. Otherwise 5 Starz.

Food: 3/5 Service: 4/5 Ambiance: 5/5 Overall: Definitely loved the ambiance. Food was standard fare. The extended review… Food: 3/5 - Got a lot of share plates and they were each pretty standard fare. For me nothing really stood out as being a huge winner from the feast. Presentation isn’t usually a big thing for me but there were a few dishes that didn’t resemble the image of what the place wants to be. Service: 4/5 - Friendly and attentive waitstaff. Ambiance: 5/5 - I have to say I’m pretty impressed with the look and feel of the place.

Currently at this establishment for the first time and i won't be back. There's an older gentleman maybe late 40s early 50s with medium length hair slicked back that made the entire experience miserable. The lady at the bar was professional and very nice. This guy didn't provide silverware or a napkin and had an attitude about it. I went to bar and started a tap for myself and he decided to add the whole table to my tab. I made him fix it and he had an attitude the rest of the night. I do not recommend coming here. Go next door to Cafteria 15L and save yourself the negative energy and unwarranted attitude. The drinks and food are not worth it.
