Between the lively atmosphere, friendly employees, and the manager walking around to check on your dining experience, this place is extremely welcoming and comfortable. It's a perfect place to grab delicious Italian food or a fresh sandwich before hitting the Tobin Center for a show. Wish I lived closer so it could be my go-to lunch place! Always a pleasure dining at Guillermo's.
Not a lot around this restaurant but it's easy enough to walk there from a nearby hotel we were staying at. Atmosphere was laid back and friendly. 6 of us sat on the patio, which has fans and screens for some shade. Happy happy hour drinks were good. Half of my group had frozen margaritas and said they were delicious. King G chips are good, if a little hard but the roasted salsa, and queso hit the spot for an app. House salad is unique with fresh ingredients. Was surprised that even the pineapple used in the salad is fresh, not canned or frozen. Dressing pairs good with the topping combo. We were getting full when our entrees arrived but it was all presented well and tasted even better. It's a shame we're leaving town in the morning and likely won't be able to finish our leftovers. We had chicken Alfredo, grilled farfalle and sausage, Stromboli, lasagna, and an Italian sandwich. Service was good, especially when dealing with large group tables on the patio.
As soon as I learned about this little gem near downtown I made sure to check it out. Visiting from the Midwest and It’s like Nonas cooking with the sweet hometown San Antonio flair! The food is delicious. We ordered the chicken Alfredo, mushroom spinach pasta (marinara sauce), and chicken pepperoni lasagna. The lunch specials are a deal because they came with a salad and entree. Don’t forget to try the Guillermo’s salad. The staff is kind and friendly and the atmosphere is a vibe. Oops, forgot food pics but I promise the food was super yummy — we were excited to eat! Bring your fam, friends, coworkers, your honeybun, etc…You won’t regret it!!Run, don’t walk!!🏃🏻♀️🏃🏃♂️✨
I came here for dinner with my siblings and cousins because the restaurant across the street had a long wait. We were pleasantly surprised! The service was really great, they kept the tortilla chips and salsa coming. Also, we really appreciated that they had a good number of vegetarian options. I personally got the flat Sonoran style enchiladas with fried eggs on top, and I really enjoyed it!
THIS place is AWESOME 👍 , the food is FRESH, STAFF very friendly and the Assistant GM John that night went around greeting customers , asking how their food was, service, The experience was amazing. I say TRY them out.
My family and i stopped here to eat on our trip back home and the service and food were amazing! We ordered the lemon pepper wings, meat lasagna, and fries everything tasted fresh and well seasoned. It’s was a 10/10 and our waitress Daisy was so sweet and even let us know what was popular since we’re not from around here.
Burgers are amazing. Actually one of the best burgers I've had in SA. They also have great frozen margaritas. The tequila isn't overpowering and it has a subtle hint of lime. The outdoor dining area is nice and relaxing. This is a good place for a casual date night or family dinner.
Always delicious and never disappoints !Love the food and totally love the environment at Guillermo’s! We had Megan as our server and she was a delight ! She was fast , helpful and super knowledgeable about the menu which was great! Everything was fantastic and can’t forget to mention the absolute best Vegan Pizza in town, it’s a must have. Thanx Megan and see ya soon !
We ordered online for pick up but wanted extra cheese added to our pizza. We called in right away and were able to make the request in time for our food to be cooked to perfection!! Our meal was amazing and the service was exceptional! Love Guillermo’s and would highly recommend.
This place is very nice, the food is definitely recommended 👌 the portions are really big so be careful how much you order, there are different patios to enjoy and they offer alcoholic beverages, they have a happy hour and a happy happy hour, my daughter (7) enjoyed the atmosphere as well. I definitely recommend trying this place if you are looking for fresh Italian food.
We absolutely loved this restaurant. Great food and drinks. Very romantic place to take your partner. The drinks are strong. Our food was so flavorful and large portions. They have indoor and outdoor seating, plus plenty of parking for a downtown spot. Great menu with all kinds of options. Everything from Italian to burgers and wings.
Guillermo's is for the perfect lunch spot for lazy Sunday's! I enjoy their twist on Italian grub, and they have a good bar menu as well 🤞 I absolutely had to have the calzone but my boyfriend made me split it with him (it is big enough for two). The good news: it was delicious and glad I got, the bad news: I had to share 😉. I'd love to come back and try their pizza, they looked tasty and were well priced! This place was totally awesome for a sunny Sunday afternoon, especially eating outside on their pleasant patio. Don't know how I hadn't tried this place after living in SA for 6 years, but will be sure to visit again (and next time I ain't sharing) 🍕😋
The atmosphere and service were great. The staff attended to our needs without delay. The food was outstanding. The portion size was appropriate for the price. I would recommend the restaurant to all.
This place is truly a gem. The service was professional and kind straight from the get-go. Had a few drinks while we waited for a table to clear and in about 10 minutes it was ready. There's loads of history on the walls and the atmosphere is relaxed. Upon looking at the menu we noticed it was a mix of Italian, Mexican, and Mediterranean cuisine. We ordered the King Guillermo (highly recommended), the tequila wings (highly recommended), and the blue cheese bacon burger (highly recommended). When asking the waitress what salad is the most popular she kindly responded with a crowd favorite and it was excellent. They certainly don't make boring salads like other restaurants. Their margaritas are amamazing. We got the mango margarita with the usual dressings and I highly recommend you get it frozen. The menu items are a bit pricey, bur absolutely worth it. If you have guests or are looking to go on an informal date, I suggest this place without hesitation. 5 stars all the way.
This place is awesome and definitely worth a special visit. The food tastes as good as it looks. The atmosphere is also very enjoyable and the music just gets you in a great mood. The server was extremely nice and the overall experience was awesome. Definitely coming back. Pictured below are the "Chef Rafa" "spaghetti and meatballs" and "Cesar's salad" which were all amazing.
Fairly new to the San Antonio area but this was one of the first restaurants we tried and we were not disappointed! Their sandwiches are amazing (I get the steak and cheese. You can get it with fries or one of their salads, both are great). Their customer service is always on point! The history of the building is just a plus. Highly recommend this restaurant!
First time goer & very much enjoyed it! They have plenty of indoor as well as shaded, outdoor seating. The two staff members that helped us were kind & attentive to my girlfriend & I. We tried their Calzones & Spinach & Mushroom Lasagna, both were delicious! We will definitely be returning.
We finally ventured out with our 3 month old twins. We stumbled upon this place and are glad we did. Chong is a G and they made us feel right at home! Good pizza, drinks and vibes!
GM Evelyn and John at the walk-up bar provided us phenomenal service and hospitality. The type of service that makes a person come back for more and tell your family & friends about. Definitely will be returning to this fine establishment. René and Marty L.
The picture of the dip was the spinach and artichoke dip. This picture doesn't do it justice and I did take it after we had already tried it. It looks super green, but it is soooo good. One of the best spinach and artichoke dips I've had. The pasta I get is the new york manicotti and it is sooo good with the sauce. I've been here once before and had the same outcome. For the ones who had bad experience here I would say give it another try because I can't see anyone being disappointed in this place.
The only thing about this place is that you have no idea what to choose from the menu!! Everything looks amazing and it's hard to choose what to eat from, they have it all pastas, sandwiches, pizzas, wings, burgers, wraps, tacos and salad. The service was amazing from everyone being so nice a d the food coming out quickly too. I can't wait to go back to try something else!
Met up peers for lunch and as always this place is amazing. I used to work in the area and loved having lunch here. Glad I was in the area!
Love This place food and service was awesome. Great drinks selection. Definitely need to take the family. You can sit in side or outside Great place to hang out eat and drink.
Satisfying, flavorful, and generous portions. The menu is varied and everyone can find something to enjoy. From salads starting at just under $9 and meals up to $20 and adding in one or two appetizers a family of three could eat for $40-$100. Not budget friendly, but with seating accommodations inside and out, a pet friendly patio and food that doesn’t disappoint it’s worth a repeat.
The ambiance alone is worth a visit. You order from the bar, take a seat where you like, and they will bring you your food. The house salad was delicious and has a great balance of taste. We ordered the turkey, bacon, avocado wrap and the garlic cheese pizza. They were both full of flavor. I definitely will be back to try more off of their menu.
Went to a volleyball game at a near by high school and stumbled upon Guillermo's. They have an open patio and bar that can be seen off McCullough St. looked very inviting. We choose to sit inside and found an interesting set up with a wide variety of decorations. We had a bit off sticker shock when we saw that the prices averaged about $18 per plate but that went away quickly after our meal started. We started off with a terrific house salad, I had Chicken Parmesan with Speghetti my wife ordered the Lasagna. The serving were large enough that we both shared with our 8 year old grandson. Our waiter was very attentive and we found a new Italian restaurant that's open late. Come to Guillermo's enjoy a great meal and maybe see the ghost!
Brandy was our waitress. Amazing customer service! Cute place to eat some yummy food. We were given the option to dine inside or out on the patio. We chose the patio. It is December so the patio was equipped with outdoor heaters. Now the prices are a bit higher than I would normally want to spend, but the taste was ALL there! And HUGE portions! For appetizer, we ordered cheesy bread, YUM. Sweet tea was sweetened to perfection! The frozen margaritas HIT. THE. SPOT! Highly recommend this little spot!
Walked in around 7:30p on a Monday night & was greeted & sat upon arrival. We sat on the patio with our two pups- they are dog-friendly! Our waiter was super friendly and wasted no time to get our order in because we knew what we wanted. We had the Jumbo Shrimp Alfredo & the Chicken Parmigiana and the servings were large enough to take leftovers. The shrimp was super flavorful & even other patrons commented on how delicious it looked & it was! Was not disappointed- from the service, quality & atmosphere, everything was amazing
Guillermo's is INSANELY good. It's a hidden gem in San Antonio and I'm so glad we chose to go there. If you like Italian food you'll love their dishes. The portions will fill you up so go hungry. Before we got our main dishes we already decided we will be eating there everytime we vacation in San Antonio. Unfortunately, we didn't have room for dessert but next time we'll get it to go. Our waiter (we cant remember his name but he had blonde hair) was so nice and knowledgeable. The decor is neat and the restaurant is in a house but has lots of outdoor seating. The sky was beautiful, the breeze felt great and our food was amazing. If I could give 10 stars I would. SA is so lucky to have this restaurant.
Love the atmosphere, food, and service! Our waiter was very nice, but there's this one lady here (don't quite know her name...) that wasn't too friendly. We sat outside and theres a bar out on the deck area as well. The place is actually bigger than it looks. For the food: Their house salad was fruitful and full of flavors. The wings are pretty good and the lasagna was delicious as well. Definitely come back!
ALL HAIL KING GUILLERMO (sandwich)! In town for a bit and decided to hit up this gem. These guys absolutely beat all expectations. I am glad that I went with the sandwich over the nachos. I was only able to get half of it down, and figured the sandwich would hold up better than the nachos if there were leftovers.
For someone who isn’t a huge fan of Italian food, I’ve been to Guillermo’s more than any other food joint. The lasagna is SO GOOD. The manicotti..drool worthy. The tuna salad will make you wanna slap your grandma. Ok, maybe not but it’s so delicious. Every meal I’ve gotten there is spot on. Hot, fresh, delicious. All of the staff are excellent. Happy hour twice a day. Amazing Pina Coladas with HOMEMADE WHIP CREAM!! you’ve gotta be kidding me! Not to mention the location. A cool little downtown hangout. Kickback vibes. I promise you will love Guillermo’s.
We are so thankful to Guillermos for letting us host our company holiday jingle mingle! Evelyn and her staff were so attentive to our needs and made sure everything was perfect for our event. A special thank you to our waitress Megan for taking care of everyone. Food was delicious, service was great, we'll definitely be back!
This was our first time at this resturant. We went for a nice date night. We were not disappointed. We started off with the salsa and quest appetizer it was the perfect amount of spice. I had the chicken Alfredo with garlic bread and ny husband had one of their canzone, our meals also came with a salad. Our food was delicious. We noticed they had a happy happy hour and the prices for the size of drinks were perfect I ordered myself a blue Hawaiian and my husband ordered the larger draft option. We have already been discussing when we have family and friends come visit this is definitely on our list of places to take them.
Great place for friends to meet up and eat. Pizza, salads, pasta were all outstanding. Next time will try some other items and drinks. Hostesses were friendly and kept us informed when our group had a table. Server was very attentive and quick. Definitely want to return.
We order Guillermo's catering for my bridal shower and it was the best decision EVER! Ordering was an easy process and it was affordable for the amount of food we received. It had the same restaurant quality! My guests are still talking about how fresh and delicious the food was. They are able to accommodate for your dietary needs, I had guests who were vegetarian and they were impressed by the vegetarian option because it was so filling! I myself have a gluten sensitivity and the chicken was so delicious and I was able to enjoy the meal as well! PLUS it comes with the famous salad which was SO yummy! If you are planning to cater, I would 10/10 recommend supporting a local business like Guillermo's for your event for great quality and a great experience!
Where do I start? This place is phenomenal. I did not take pictures. I will do so next time. They have options to sit inside or on their magnificent patio. We opted to sit on the patio. It is beautifully decorated with lights everywhere. It has a beachy 🏖️ , yet, elegant vibe. We ordered the classic chips, queso and salsa with nachos and a small pizza. Our server was Megan. She was sweet and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious, fresh and hot. Great portions. We arrived around 6pm and left around 9pm to go to the jazz festival. During our visit at Guillermo’s, a wonderful young man named, John, checked on us a few times. John made our evening. He was caring, genuine, kind, honest, trustworthy. He had a sweet demeanor and smile. He made us feel like family. I felt as though we had known each other for years. We will be regulars, now. You guys keep up the amazing work!! Looking forward to the next visit!
First time here. Ordered takeout and ordered a garlic pizza which is not on the menu. Woman who took my order at the bar was very accommodating making a pizza that was not listed….I am from NY and this garlic pizza is INCREDIBLE!!! Wow…incredible taste - top quality! Salad was also delicious and hearty. Thank you for making my Friday night! We will be back again and again and again….Tim
I’m almost hesitant to tell you how amazing this place is because it’s like a treasure I’ve found. Everything and everyone is incredible, the food the atmosphere the staff are perfection. Their happy hour is incredible as well and the drinks are good! I tried something different this time I usually have the lasagna which can be easily shared. Their bowtie pasta salad that comes with it is out of this world
We were seated quickly, had a nice server, food was delicious, and the pricing and the portions were spots on. They also have a patio that is dog friendly. I had the chicken and pepperoni lasagna. My bf had a calzone stuffed with pepperoni, bacon, and salami. Pepperoni was tasty and of good quality ,the sauce was a little sweet, and they do not skimp on the cheese! The fries, garlic butter bread, salad, and sweet tea were also 👌🏾. Can't wait to return
I really had a great experience at Guellermo's Italian restaurant. I'll start off by saying the outside patio is very relaxing and inviting. It gets even better because the great tasting food will knock you off your feet. On my visit I had had the lasagna and spaghetti with meatballs. Both excellent choices!! The salad before the meal was super super tasty. I'll certainly be back a again. Great place to take a date for sure. Also did notice they have Happy Hour which I'll have to try next time. The service was excellent and also the manager went out of his way to thank and greet customers.I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Food was excellent! Margaritas were well made and tasted as a margarita should. Good service all the way around. Can't go wrong fried mushrooms either.
Didn't have a reservation and inside seating was in short supply on a very hot evening. wait was expected to be longer than preferred, so pivoted to carry out. The pizza was delicious.

The food was delicious. We enjoyed our lunch because evey bite was tasty and the drinks were refreshing. The staff was friendly and welcoming.

Haven't eaten here in a long time. They changed the way they seat you and take orders. Service was initially slow and seemed unorganized. Our name was taken down and we sat outside and they forgot about our table. After 25 minutes we got a waiter. Now for the food. I typically have the sandwiches which are very good. However this time I gave the jalapeno cheese burger a try. It was absolutely fantastic. Maybe one of the best burgers in San Antonio. The bun was fresh, meat was not to thick, great flavor and the cheese and bacon were high quality. I will definitely order it again.
Guillermo's was a nice restaurant experience. Situated in an old house with a large deck, it offers one of those comfortable-dive experience. Everyone was friendly and the sevice was good. I had the hand-tossed pizza, which was quite nice. Toppings were generous and it was perfectly prepared. The salads were tasty. We also had lasagna, which was very good, and a shrimp pasta. There is a full bar and several beers on tap. I would recommend a visit.
The food was good. Unfortunately the dessert ruined it. The chocolate cake tasted like a ding ding out of the box, which the server did say came in a box. We should have listened. The server was nice. Maybe the ghost will eat the rest of this dessert.
Looking all the ratings for definitely had to try this place since we were in town for one night. Originally had gone for pizza but opted for more traditional dishes. The lasagna is really good pretty small portion but it is tasty and has a great flavor to the sauce. The pasta is also could perfectly. On the negative side to have a very limited salad dressing menu basically nothing light only Caesar a creamy Italian or Ranch. The other dish we had was spaghetti and meatballs which actually has a little bit of a bite to the sauce but was very flavorful as well. The garlic bread does leave a lot to be desired. The texture of the bread is relatively spongy. and not crispy at all and lacking any good garlic flavor. Overall good restaurant would definitely eat here again
Great food, the atmosphere inside is very cozy. It was too cold to sit outside. Prices are about what you would expect. The major complaints that I have (that are also minor) is that the waiter definitely gave me a side look when I asked for an extra ranch. This country boy likes ranch with a little bit of salad on the side (fyi it’s an extra $1). We arrived about 2 so a little after lunch. The food came rather quick, but it took way too long for our waiter to bring us the check. We had been done for sometime before he came back when it wasn’t that busy.
My husband thought was excellent. Best lasagna in a long time. My seafood pasta with peppers was ok. Had way too much bell pepper and not enough seafood. Can't beat the Pizza price for all the toppings. Kids really liked it. Loved the atmospere and how they converted 2 homes into the restaurant. Cozy. Overall great spot for Italian in this section of San Antonio.
Enjoyed the food. Limited menu was kind of disappointing. Expensive for the the type of basic Italian dishes you get. However, the salad does make up for it. Kids menu is a plus. Not much to choose from on wine. Everything is a house selection. No waiting area and kinda small inside. Cozy if you have a table already and don't have to wait. They have a patio another plus on a warmer day. Portions are a we bit on the small side for basic pasta. Over all food is good. I would go again. To enjoy the patio.
Cute, family-friendly place. We just got to San Antonio, and I was craving pizza. 🍕 The pizza was pretty good. The parking lot is in the back where you can access the entrance. There is a sign that clearly states to wait to be seated. Be sure to do so because I overheard some people complaining about not having a server, but they hadn't checked in with the host. 🤦🏻♀️ There's outside seating as well as tables inside. We sat inside since it's cold right now. It took about 10 minutes for our server to come, and he came ready with waters for everyone. I liked that. 👍🏼The host had given us menus, so we were ready to order by the time or server, Edgar, came to the table. We ordered an 18" Guillermos Combo pizza and another 12". The Guillermos combo is basically a "build your own" option. The smaller one was a pepperoni pizza, and we ordered the large with bacon, sausage, ham, bell peppers, and mushrooms. The service was decent. He checked up on us, but it did seem as though the servers' tables were scattered throughout the whole place. We bought a 🍪 on our way out. They're pretty big (bigger than the palm of my hand) and taste okay.
Great server... the person that greeted us first had us almost turn away because of the lack of professionalism. The food was good... not bad... not amazing... kind of a quirky place with different levels and areas to dine. The outside patio was nice. Good selection of cocktails and pretty good beer selection for an Italian restaurant Definitely worth a vist..visit... not sure if we will be back... but enjoyed our meal
Lots of parking available and well-communicated signage helped us find our way to order. The food was CRAZY delicious. My salad exceeded my expectations. Full of flavor and texture, this salad would have been worth the trip ALONE. But I ordered pasta with bell peppers, marinara, and spicy sausage. It was flavorful, plenty, and filling. The servers were terrific. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was because we were a little confused about seating. It’s spread out around corners and we weren’t sure where we were and were not allowed to sit. Sitting around the corner on a patio we were nervous our food wouldn’t find us. BUT it did. They clearly have a system that works well. I would definitely have some more Italian food from this place.
Such a quaint place with great food. I recently went back to celebrate my birthday. on a Tuesday mind you i didn't think it would be this busy. We had to wait 30 minutes to be seated so we decided to have margaritas. You're absolutely amazing and the bartender was definitely on top of her game. We then got to go to our table unfortunately our waiter was not on his best game. He would come to our table to take our orders but would not have a pencil to take the order down with this happened twice. Then 30 minutes later my food came out but he did not get my friends order right. He gave him an order that was not even his but we were so hungry he decided to eat it anyways. The food was delicious but after such a long wait we decided to take it to go.
Stopped in for an early dinner and the service was great, but the food was just okay. I ordered the chicken avocado pasta Caesar salad and my husband got buffalo wings. The wings did not taste like a classic buffalo sauce, there was something off with the seasoning. The salad was good but felt like something was missing. We did order margaritas for happy hour and those were great.
My Friend treated me there for dinner. It’s really delicious to have great salad great fish they have great appetizers great drinks. They had a really good time and was under $100 for both of us to eat all that so it’s a good deal. People are pleasant, happy friendly nice great music in the atmosphere. You can eat outside or inside. I liked it. I’ll be back.
My sister and I stopped by Guillermo’s for dinner. The atmosphere is nice they have tables in door and outdoor. We ordered an individual pizza and a spinach lasagna. The food tasted very good and fresh. We ordered a burger and fries to go. It was very well plated with fresh veggies for the burger. We were very impressed with the restaurant, the reason for 4 starts is that our server was lacking. She got our salads order wrong and took very long to come around and check on us. Aside from this Guillermo’s is definitely worth a try.
Small Italian restaurant. Story is unique. Food is delicious. Drinks were cold. Are party consisted 3 adults and 5 children. Ages 7-12. We were seated outside. Small but cozy environment. Chicken Alfredo was delish. The kids shared pizza which was really good as well. Chicken parmigiana and lasagna are also yummy dishes. I have been to San Antonio countless times and this is the first time I’ve been. I would recommend to anyone.

Fresh fresh salads with lots of yummy ingredients. Service is friendly and sitting outside watching the world go by is fun.

Beautiful presentation of the food! I ordered the shrimp Alfredo pasta! And also a spicy margarita. The margarita was ok but they used pickled jalapeños so it altered the taste of the margarita. My pasta was a 3 out of a 5 star. The shrimp was very saltly along with the bread. Less seasoning and keep the olive oil. I was sitting outside I asked for the heating lamp turned on. It was never turned on. I get it times can be busy. Also make sure to tip in cash! When you tip credit card the servers have to wait for a check to receive the credit card tips! I will visit again to see for more potential in this place! It's a chill vibe!
The food was really good. And I loved the ambiance here. Almost tiki barish. The only reason I give it three and not four or five stars is because the service was not very good. You go up to the bar to order food and drinks. We also needed to go up to get silverware and even a glass of water. We also went up there to clean off our table from the apps before the food came because it was taking up a lot of room on our table. They said someone would come by to clean it but we needed more room and no one ever came so we took it up there. There is no table service, but for the price you’re paying it doesn’t justify it. I hope they change that because I would like to come back!

We love to sit outside on the patio under fans. The food is delicious. Try the pasta salad. You won't be disappointed
Meh. Hostess said to “sit anywhere” inside but after about 10 minutes someone finally asked if I had been waited on. (No). Lunch was uninspired chicken Alfredo bow tie pasta w/side salad, $15.00 (no drink). No big deal, but at least it was hot. Very old, creaky house environment. Won’t be back.
Walked up to have lunch but nobody there to seat us. Waited a while, in case the hostess had to go to the bathroom or such, but no luck. Finally flagged down a buser but he just said to wait, we di…

Food was pricey and tables were filthy. We had to clean it . For the price of the food the place should be real clean! crumbs on floor and chairs . Waiters didn’t identify themselves…food was ok……

Traveling to Santo Antonio, don't waist your time or money in this establishment. Worst experience I had in a place. I normally don't give reviews but this place deserves not even one star. If you are local in Santo Antonio and you put up with service and food like this I'm sorry for you. The place is run by kids, so when we arrived they were talking with each other at the reception. They had several tables clean and available and "made us wait 30 minutes to get sit". My husband asked for a beer while we wait and "the beer was not good", so he just did not drink it. Once we got seated i asked for my water with no ice and they gave me lukewarm water...serious they could had said that no ice means lukewarm. They served the food. The salad was the best part of the meal, "the pizza was okay and the lasagna was lukewarm like the water". We were hungry and my husband hates complaining about things. Unlike me if I'm paying for something I have minimum expectations that was not met by this place. Maybe because was the weekend and they were busy... I don't know and won't be back to verify that. I talked to the waitress that offered to send back the lasagna after my mom was already at the middle of eating because after putting the food on the table she never went back to verify that the food was okay. She called the manager that talked to us about coming back and complaining to someone else???? She was not sincere with her apologies and she made a pregnant woman very upset. She accused me of treating bad her kids staff because I asked to speak with the manager. On top of that they kept us waiting for over 30 minutes to pay the bill after they clearly saw that we were upset. Not only they did not do anything about the bill but kept us waiting for no reason. The place is dirty and the bathroom is filthy. Again put the kids to clean the place at least...
Had a bad experience unfortunately. The waitress Megan seemed to be in a very bad mood. Ignored some of the items we asked for. Then it took 22 minutes to get my tea, (stayed refill'less) then she came back out 20 mins after we ordered asking us what we had ordered. When the pizza finally came it was cold. Plus the pizza tasted like HEB frozen pizza. I paid $16.99 for cold HEB frozen pizza and lousy service. I should have just stayed home and ordered pizza hut as it would have been better than this place. Then the icing on the cake, a homeless mentally ill man came up to me threatening to shoot me with his fingers. We won't be back again.
Worst experience, they charged me more than their menu price, When I ordered pizza how ever you want to make ( with maximum of 5 toppings ), I ordered only one topping ( actually saving them 4 toppings ), they charged 1:50+ more, store manager was also not courteous. It’s not the price that made, it’s their dishonesty made me upset, I would never go to this location.
This used to be a good place. My friend and I went yesterday. We sat down and got menus and our water quickly. Then things went downhill. We heard some of the staff sound like they were playing around and yelled everyone needs to leave. We waited 20 to 30 minutes and the waiter never returned. So we left and went to Josephine St. Restaurant. Quick service and great food. Just disappointed in Guillermo s.
For $17 you’ll get a “Large” salad add chicken and you’ll get 2oz (all pictured below) >However when you order it and eat there you can feed two people. I get that everyone raises their prices- but the amount of food should remain the same, as once a loyal customer not recommending this. First responders and fellow medical peeps on the downtown area, save yourselves. Spoke to the manager on today, the kid said “it’s the same size” as when you order and eat in. You’ll see just the salad minus the chicken when i was there last month- huge difference. Also no tap pay/Apple Pay, it’s 2024!
We've been Guillermo patrons for years, but on a recent visit we found the menu to contain less than half the usual fare at @ double the prices! Plus the presence of gnats was annoying. It's far from the restaurant it once was. The only positive was the initial attention of the wait-staff.
