Outstanding Service & Hospitality – Thank You, Luby’s! This past Saturday during early lunch, our family found ourselves needing a last-minute place to gather due to unforeseen circumstances. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a wonderful experience thanks to the amazing staff at Luby’s. We arrived with a group of 15 people to celebrate both a birthday and a going-away for a family member. The cashiers were incredibly kind and immediately assured us they would be happy to accommodate our group. A very special shout-out goes to our waitress, Ms. Angela, who truly went above and beyond. She graciously allowed us to set up a tabletop cover and bring in a birthday cake for the birthday girl. She handled our large group with ease—keeping drinks filled, checking in for refills, responding to extra requests, and making sure everyone was taken care of. She was absolutely on top of her game. We are so thankful for the kindness, patience, and professionalism shown to our family. Experiences like this remind you how much great staff matter. Thank you, Luby’s, for accommodating us on short notice and for having such wonderful employees. And thank you, Ms. Angela, for making our gathering memorable!

This location was very busy, luckily for me they have a drive - thru. The young gentlemen who took my order was very nice and patient. Didn’t take long at all to wait. The wait was a few minutes but it was lunch time. It’s so convenient to know that this location has a drive-thru.

My family and I really enjoyed our lunch here. All the ones on the outskirts of town are closed so it felt good to visit this downtown staple. The customer service is great as always, felt like the good ole days being here and the food tasted good as always.

At a Family reception after funeral service. The Parry room at N. Main Ave. was private, large, and comfortable. There was a variety of meal options and prices. The waitperson was very cordial, friendly, and prompt in assisting.

Wow where to start Luby’s is Iconic, Classic, A class of its own best assembly line restaurant you can go to eat. Bring the family they have plenty of choices to choose from. From veggie plates to mouthwatering pork shops. But you gotta get a side of Mac & cheese with your order

Lubys always has great fresh food. The chicken fried steak was delicious with the white gravy. Mmm mmm good. Not many locations left but I go every chance I get.

Classic San Antonio comfort cafeteria. The food taste like homemade. Love all the choices. Plenty of parking and seating. There will be a line during lunch and dinner times. It moves pretty fast. Would highly recommend.

Today I found my favorite Luby’s server! We decided to sit in booths near window area where you can see the handicap parking. This section is covered by a server (I think her name was Nicole?) that provided excellent customer service. Always attentive and always clearing our table of used empty dishes without interrupting our conversation yet very communicative in asking if we needed anything. We left with a wonderful experience. Now I know where I am sitting to be attended by our new favorite server. Hopefully next time I can get her name and be 100% right…. Oh and yes the food was delicious and the serving employees, and cashiers, were also very friendly and provided excellent customer service.

I ordered a Thanksgiving package on-line. Picking up items was fast and easy. The smoked turkey was delicious. The stuffing was good. It had lots of flavor. The gravy was fine. Rolls, good. However, the order clearly indicated homemade cranberry sauce. It was, instead, canned jellied cranberry sauce. Very disappointing. I also paid an extra $40 for a whole German chocolate cake. I was disappointed and embarrassed at the state of the cake. It looked beautiful on the outside, but upon cutting the first slice, the cake just crumbled. The more I cut, the more it crumbled to pieces. Not one slice held its shape. We gathered the pieces on the plate and tried to enjoy it. I have baked many cakes. This is not how a good cake behaves. Out of frustration, I ended up throwing most of the cake away. I would like a refund on the cake but I won't hold my breath.

Terrible experience. First off it way too expensive for the quality of food they now serve. I had the turkey dinner, and I must say it was bad. Turkey had no taste, room temperature at best, the mashed potatoes tasted from the box, the gravy was packaged and way too salty, the dinner rolls were hard. I would never step foot again in any Luby's again!!

Loved it, felt good and brought back childhood memories. Service was great, only downer for some reason the food did not taste the same. I got the chicken fried chicken, mash potatoes, Mac n cheese and the rolls with a strawberry shortcake. Everything was missing seasoning besides the strawberry shortcake of course. Tried ordering a turkey dinner with Felix they were out. Proceeded to order the fried fish and a kids meal. Felix comes back with an adult meal instead of the kids meal. Tried charging me without telling me it isn’t a kids meal. Told him I didn’t want it. Continues to ring me up for a kids meal which I’m fine with but refuses to give me the drink and jello which was the whole reason I ordered the kids meal. Felix was extremely rude about the whole situation and very unprofessional. Never got my jello or drink
