I've been meaning to make a review for this place for the longest time! I've been coming here for the past two years and the vibes, food, and drinks only keep getting better. I have tried their breakfast foods, wraps, pastries, coffees and teas, and I have never had something I didn't like! The staff is kind, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the decor is always so fun. My only harp is I wish it was closer to home! I travel over the bridge from lusby to visit you guys and wish I didn't have to drive so far. But it's been worth the trip every time!

Went for a quick breakfast and lunch around 10:00 or so, and they were pretty busy about 5 people in line, but the wait was not long at all dispirit being busy. Great food, amazing drinks. I had an iced vanilla chia latte that was superb. For the food, I had a warmed crossaint and a headed up muffin, both of which came out perfect. Lastly, I got the. And let me tell you that. Was absolutely amazing! So I definitely recommend the beanery to anyone local or not if you looking for a great smaller locally owned coffe and bake shop I'd go here!

They’re busy every time I come in and for a good reason - easily the best little cafe I’ve ever been to. Such a gem in our little community. I’ll go here over any other coffee shop every time. The seasonal/rotating options are incredible, coffee is always delicious, the owner is so sweet. I would give 10 stars if I could.

When I say this place is my new favorite, I mean it! The employees were friendly, the new summer menu is so good (I had the Gimme S'more Shaken Expresso), and they even had an assortment of my favorite hot sauces. This place is much better than any chains in the area. 10/10 will be going back, potentially tomorrow ❤️

It’s so nice when a coffee shop serves quality tea. They have a really nice variety of tea, and a selection of bakery and cafe items, to include special cupcakes and macaroons. Their internet speed was good which made working from here a few hours a breeze. From what I could tell they had a little drive through window. They get extra brownie points for a super clean bathroom.

What a wonderful surprise! Wanted something different this morning before finishing off Christmas shopping and stumbled upon The Beanery! I would definitely put this in the top 1% of places to eat breakfast or lunch in Southern Maryland. I had the Bean-Rito which was egg, ham, onion, avocado, tomato jam, and greens which was savory and delicious, oh and huge also! My wife had the No Frills, which was bacon, egg, and cheddar in a light and fluffy croissant with arugula and strawberrys drizzled with olive oil on the side. We also split a Bear Claw which was definitely two person size covered in nuts and maple glaze. Cannot wait to come back and try the lunch specials!

Always a 10/10 service experience. The Victoria is our go to! And we always pick a lunch special which is always unique and hits the spot especially on a hot summer day!

I drink black cold brew coffee so there is nothing to hide the taste. It's gotta be good coffee! So many chains have switched to cheap bitter coffee, but this is good coffee, even black! No bitterness. Good food, good drinks, cute seasonal and limited time themed offerings (when I went there was a legally blonde themed menu!)

Great food. We actually found this place because we were at the restaurant next door for breakfast and found ourselves still hungry. We had such an incredible experience with the “Juice Buzz” jucery inside along either the beanery that we came back today for breakfast. The sunrise breakfast burrito bowl is delicious and the coffee great. Everything fresh, many options. Service is great too! I have a food allergy they took seriously and when I ordered something wrong with my coffee they had absolutely mo problem helping me out with a new one. Thanks so much Beanery! 4 stars for no public restrooms, but a great place to eat.

Dairy isn't good for my singing, and as a performer/vocal coach, I try to avoid it as often as I can. Some of the staff here have been kind and accommodating, attempting to make oat milk cold foam when I ask. They're so sweet! And I'm happy there's a local place to support that has stuff I can drink <3 FYI; Lavender Field is an amazing drink, def my fav from here! (White mocha lavender) The music is usually too loud when I visit, other than that, the environment is cute <3

The atmosphere is a 10 for how small of a place it is. I’ve gotten a couple of the cheese danish pastry’s and they were really good. All the pastry’s are pretty large in size. I also love the chocolate covered coffee bean they give you on top of your coffees! They also do punch cards!!

Forever my favorite coffee shop in SOMD!! Drinks and food are always absolutely delicious, and the service is always amazing as well. They have a very wide selection on their main menu as well as specials that rotate weekly, so no matter who you are you will definitely find something to love. I drag everyone I know to this place because I truly can’t get enough of it and think everyone needs to try it LOL. On busier days it occasionally gets a little crowded in there, but there is plenty of seating options so it’s not really a problem. Overall I would recommend The Beanery to literally anyone who likes good coffee and good food, so definitely check it out if you haven’t!!!

This is such a cute little spot, the service is great (we were told that the oven wasn’t working so they were using a different one and the wait would be longer, the food still came out super quick!) I got the everything bagel with bacon, egg, cheese, avocado and tomato with a side of loaded potato soup, my partner got the gluten free chickpea wrap (he said it was good but would have been better if the wrap itself was warm). The baked goods are massive- lithe bear claws are the size of my thigh and the eclairs are the size of my forearm! I loved the chocolate covered coffee bean on the lid of my espresso- such a cute touch.

This is my favorite coffee spot in the area. My family and I moved from the Pacific Northwest last year and we're very spoiled when it came to coffee. Tons of little local coffee shops and carts that were outstanding. I was feeling pretty hopeless about this area until we tried the Beanery. I have since found a couple more decent places but the best is definitely the Beanery! Everything I have gotten there, be it coffee, another beverage, pastry or meal, has been fantastic. Going beyond that though is the fun but chill decor, the great merch, seasonal themes, the pay-it-forward wall and, of course, the friendly and personable staff. Even when they are super busy and make mistakes, they make up for it and go above and beyond. Specific praise goes to he young woman with the magenta hair (wish I new her name) is always busting her butt, doing the most and with a smile on her face. Thank you for being a blessing to me and all my family/friends I bring in there. Your hard work and good attitude don't go unnoticed. A super fun surprise one of the more recent times we were in there was when they were doing a photo shoot of the new Christmas themed items and told my sister and I we could have free drinks if we would be willing to try some of those that they were photographing and asked us to give our feedback. We did and they were FANTASTIC!!!

There’s such a fantastic selection of coffee drinks and they make it just like I like it and top it with a chocolate covered coffee bean or two! This morning I tried the hot honey carnitas bowl and it was delicious!! Took a few bakery items for the road because that is the star of the show here!!

First time trying this place and it was amazing! I ordered online and it was extremely easy and detailed. You are able to customize everything on your order and it makes it really simple for someone on the go! I set what time I wanted to pick up and it was ready on time! I ordered a vanilla latte and the No Frills sandwich. The croissant was fluffy and tasted like it was made fresh this morning! The coffee was delicious and I will be returning again soon! The chocolate covered coffee bean was a nice surprise as well.

Warm and inviting complete with unique hand crafted coffees and teas. Idk if it’s all drinks but my coffee has always come with a chocolate espresso bean which is such a nice touch. Love the music they play in the cafe, hope they’d play some Beach House one day!

Great coffee. The bagel with lox was good but had picked onions which were sweet. This was tasty but not what I was expecting.

I wanted something different for breakfast and found this little spot. I had the No Frills and a Caramel Macchiato. Both were delicious. Will definitely visit again.

They didn't have a dark roast brewed but the service was so friendly I got the light roast, sat down and just enjoyed the moment. Nice selection of pasteries and the like.

Went on a Saturday at 0815 and it took twenty minutes to get two cups of coffee. No food. They were tasty but not worth that long of a wait. Very friendly staff. I think they just need some more helping hands.

Had an espresso machine issue, but we worked around it! Attentive and enjoyed the cold coffee. Holiday hours were observed and expected at the EOY. Welcome 2026!

Its a small place that Is beautiful inside. They had my favorite energy drink ( lotus energy). That hit the spot. But the food didn't do so. It was ok!! Could have been better. The avocado/guacamole tasted like it was going bad.

First of all, the food here is AMAZING. the bagel sandwiches, the donuts, and of course the coffee. The atmosphere here is great and love the small-town coffee vibes. HOWEVER, their ordering/online system/service is not the best. Every time I have ordered online for morning pickup, I always make sure to do it 20 minutes before I pick up, since I know morning is busy. Every time, they have either messed up my order, or like today been incredibly late, to the point where I was waiting 45 minutes for my food. I ended up just leaving without my food, as it was getting to the point of me being late for work. Although the food and drinks are great, there service is sub-par. I wouldn't recommend for anyone to get stuff in the morning, even though they have an online system, unless they have an hour or so of waiting around. Disappointing, and I will be going back, but just for a Sunday easy day coffee time, and not for 'grab and go'

Kinda disappointed. I use to love coming here. The breakfast quiche was my go to every time I came in here. It was dressed beautifully with a side of fresh strawberries over greens with a splash of oil. It was addicting. This one is not so much. Found out this place is under new ownership. It’s a shame they would change something customers loved. I’ll share a photo of before and after new owner. Just really disappointed. Forgot to add the better quiche was $7.50, the new quiche is $9…. 🙄

I ordered the quiche for breakfast for $8.99. I was shocked at the tiny quiche they gave me. It compared in size to the bottom of a soda can. I finished it in three bites. I received nothing else when I told them the size was ridiculously small. They replied, “I am sorry.”

I go to the Beanery every so often and sometimes the service is excellent. I don't know if it's the time of day or the people working or both but for some reason they messed up my order and took 30 minutes. My boyfriend got a 6 shot latte hot and I ordered the Hocus Pocus Energy Refresher which is supposed to have Purple Lotus, Prickly Pear and Pomegranate. After the 30 min wait my boyfriend's drink came iced and my order should be a dark purple drink. What I got is a light blue barely carbonated watered down beverage, from my guess they took some blue raspberry syrup and mixed it with carbonated water. I can accept making 6 shots of anything might take a lot of time but if that's the case the order shouldn't be wrong. I love the atmosphere but it's been a repeated 50/50 shot of good service or waiting 30 minutes for an incorrect order when I visit.
