OB Noodle House 1502 is an OB staple! I’m a local and take all my in town visitors here. It’s super popular among locals and tourist alike. It’s the best place in OB, if not in all of San Diego, for Pho! I often dine in and very often order take out. Some of my faves on the menu are chicken lettuce wraps, crispy egg rolls, sizzling fish and short ribs — all of which are great to share with your table. The bartenders are ALL awesome — Mark and Brekke especially! Be sure to ask for them in your next visit! Bar seating is a great choice too if you want to engage with the bartenders and patrons next to you. Seating outside is abundant which is my preference. It’s much louder inside if you don’t mind the noise and there are lots of TVs. It can be busy on the weekends. Arrive early enough to put your name in for a reasonable wait when it’s busy as they don’t take reservations. All in all.. OB Noodle is my fave go-to spot in Ocean Beach!

Had 12 wings, requested them non spicy. They were super crispy and tasted great. Also had the grilled fish. Wish the portion was larger. But it made for perfect meal for 2. Atmosphere is super noisy. Typical OB. If you're in the mode for a party atmosphere, come here. Otherwise, go to the other OB Noodle House.

We stopped by OB Noodle House after a fun day at Dog Beach, and it did not disappoint! I had the House Special Fried Rice, which leaned more toward the spicy side than savory, but the flavor was absolutely delicious. My wife ordered the Chicken Pan Seared Crispy Egg Noodles, and she absolutely loved it—the noodles were perfectly crispy, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. Of course, we had to try one of the house cocktails and went with A Trybe Called Zest—a refreshing and well-balanced drink that perfectly complemented our meals. The atmosphere was lively, the service was great, and the food and drinks were top-notch. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area! Highly recommend!

Loved the food at OB Noodle House! We started with the spicy garlic wings and for entrees ordered the sizzling fish Vietnamese basa and the beef dry chow fun. Very lively bar atmosphere with great staff that are very attentive. Dog friendly as well. Definitely recommend!

This place was so good! Was quoted a 45 minute wait and only waited 20 minutes. Ashley was our server and was so great and had great recommendations. We had the wings, tiger shrimp, spring rolls and some veggie and tofu noodles! The espresso martini was delicious as well.

I came here with my family and did not know what to expect. I had never heard of this place but was told it was going to be good. When we arrived I liked their setup and was excited to eat here right away. The music was great and everyone appeared to be having so much fun and above all the place looked very clean. We sat down and I was not sure what to order but I started with a Tijuana Green Machine and I would say if you get a chance please try this. So good. The server was amazing and he knew his stuff. He explained the menu well and questions we had were answered and really added to the experience. The food was so good and I honestly did not expect to be so satisfied with the taste. I personally had the #55 and the fried rice. No way you can wrong with these. This is a must visit if you are in the area. I only didn't go 5 stars because of the bathroom situation. The place is packed and there are only two restrooms. There is a line forming to use it basically at all times. There is even a sign that tells you were to form the line so it's a known issue from what I can tell. It just took away from the time I could have been spending with my family. I wouldn't think twice about returning here.

We came here kind of by accident. We were trying to go to the regular OB Noodle House but google maps kept taking us in circles. We finally found this location so we ate at this one. Pretty much the same menu as the other one. Food came at pretty quick and very hot. I'll say it was very tasty and filling. I would definitely come back but will try the other location next time. 😋

This place often has a wait on weekends and busy days. We waited about 25 minutes during what appeared to be the peak dinner rush. I was surprised to find the beef came with the option of "well done" as my experience with pho has only included rare beef. I ordered the 1502 Pho which came with well done beef. This took slightly longer for the broth to get the taste that I was used to, and once it did I was pleased with it, which was nice and warm on a cold winter evening. The spicy garlic wings were spicy for someone that usually orders 0 on a scale, but came paired with a thin ranch that helped balance the spice. The flavor itself was good, balanced, and rich.

Vibes are cool. Food is meh. I guess it’s dog friendly but they literally let this dog jump up on people and the bar. The owner had it unleashed and no one said anything until we had to say something to the owner. Kinda ridiculous.

I’ve been coming here for years thanks to my sister who lives in SD. This is where she usually takes me for a bite before we watch the sunset on the other side where the cliffs are. That’s where the view is. This time around, our dad was with us, visiting from Asia for the holidays. We got our usual order. Pho, spring rolls, the fish and that rice that is so damn good. I keep forgetting that it happens to be spicy. I’m always pleasantly surprised when I get a bite that happens to be spicier than usual. Everything we got was so good. All plates and bowls were cleaned. You can tell we were so into our meal because the moment our items were dropped off the table, we all went silent and shifted to chow time. Service here has never been consistent. It’s always a hit or miss. We had a super late lunch the day after thanksgiving after spending a few hours at Sea World so we were starving. Our server Dominic was great. He was super busy tending to all the tables outside. We were howe super put off by the runner who dropped off our food. He initially dropped off a set of plates that my sister thought were too small so she asked him for the bigger ones. His facial expression indicated he was annoyed with her request. When he came back with the plates, someone else at our table asked for another item and this time around he was even more irritated.

Had a sit down lunch couple months ago and it was pretty good, pho was good size and tasty. So I decided to order takeout and damn I was disappointed. Idk if it’s a fluke but I ordered the beef pho and feel robbed haha gave me 1/4 of a take out box full of noodles and 3 tiny scraps of meat. Unfortunate that after eating here for 6 years, this last time was it for me. Long story short: - Unorganized team, not greeted - Food was like not good...the bang bang shrimp was overbreaded and flavorless. This used to be my fav app here. - My fiancée asked for the banana piña non alcoholic drink because you know, shes been sober over a year. She was served the alcoholic version instead. Thankfully she barely took a sip before she realized and had me taste test. To be fair, there were 2 versions on the menu BUT to be fair, you should listen to your customers.
