The pistachio mascarpone with passion fruit cream was delicious!! The flavor was unique and definitely worth trying. Haven't tried any other of their pastries. But I will definitely order some when in the area. Looks and feels like a small bakery shop worth supporting!!

I went here two days in a row during my weekend trip to Ocean Beach. Both days there was a line out the door (and on day two I was there before they opened!). The classic Cuban pastry (guava & queso) is delectable. I tried both the guava-only and guava/queso...I would get both again. I also tried the everything eloté quiche pastry with egg, corn and peppers baked in, and it was divine. My latte was delicious, too. Coming here for a treat is never a mistake! Enjoy for me since I can't come back daily for more sweets!

If I lived in San Diego, I’d be here ALL the time. The pastries were truly incredible, some of the best I’ve ever had. And the Cubano sandwich was delicious. Don’t be in a hurry…. It takes a while. But it’s worth it the wait. For the faster takeaway items, the cubano meat pie was super tasty, as was the strawberry rhubarb almond tart. 👌🏼

I’m Japanese , plus I bake! So I’m very picky with baked goods and I always think American baked goods are too sweet, but OMG! This place I heard good things about, I came to check out myself… they’re AMAZING!!!! I also love the Havana beach vibe that comes from the baked goods…..especially the pineapple coconut loaf…. 🥥 🌴 also my favorite is Guava queso pastry. Love the sweet and creamy !!!! Ok, not done yet, I love the croissant, and the passionfruit raspberry scone was a new hit too, it’s sweet and sour and tangy….. DONT FORGET the CUBANO SANDWICH. 🥪 those were AMAZING…. Everything was new in my mouth and was mentally and physically happy when I left this place. Thankyou for people who recommended and thankyou for the bakery!! Love this place!! They have lots of cake too, I’m going to try cakes next time 😋 I’m definitely coming back… with some friends ….!!!! + love they have dog treats too. My dog loved it!

Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious! Really appreciated their unique twists on traditional pastries. The peach champagne scone is legitimately the best scone I’ve ever had.

Came here for the first time. It’s a small coffee shop and bakery with Cuban flavors. Everything looked so good and made fresh. I decided on the pastelito de queso (cheese roll) and my wife had the strawberry pastry. We both ordered the cafe con leche. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back to try the sandwiches.

Wonderful bakery! Everything we ordered was delicious 🤤. Definitely go and check it out. We grabbed a couple of things and let me tell you my favorite items were the “everything bagel quiche “ & I absolutely loved the “Dark corner cake.” Legit Chefs kiss! We will definitely be coming back 😊. Street parking, They are right on the corner of Newport ! First time here. Ordered the Cuban pie with pork, cheese and pickle filling. It just came out of oven, so it was warm. Not too bad. Ordered the passion fruit/berry scone…a bit too much sugar for my taste, but good. Not a bad option for different types of pastries.

Coffee was good. Clean restroom. The dessert in a photo was 10/10 for appearances but 2/10 for tasting, way too sweet.

I tried the Coconut Cake...best I've ever had. The Mango Cheesecake was delicious! To drink, I had a Double Cortadito, so good! What brought me here were the Guava and Guava Cheese Pastelitos. I have only ever had these from Portos. Sadly, they were too rich! Not the Guava or Cheese, they were way too buttery! The amount of butter used over powered the Guava. Hopefully it's just the batch I had. I will be back to try their other cakes and sandwiches.

My wife and I came in excited to try this pastry shop and we were disappointed by the sandwiches and coffee. The pastries we had were the chocolate crossaint and keylime pie. The chocoate corssaint was actually decent and very soft bread. The keylime pie lacked flavor and was overpriced. We had the havana sandeich and espana sandwich which were terrible. The havana sandwich was mostly cream cheese and espana sandwich lacked flavor and was very oily. Overall had a bad experience and it seems the staff lack customer service. The atmosphere was actually nice for the little shop. Safe to say we will not be going back.
