Love eating tacos at City Tacos. Such unique combination of tacos that are all wildly delicious. Look forward to eating here anytime I’m in San Diego. The prices are reasonable at around $4 to $5 a taco.

I had the chance to visit this restaurant during my trip to San Diego. I was glad I picked this place! After browsing their menu, I ordered City Zucchini Taco and Guacamole & Chips. There were few people at the restaurant during my visit. So, the order reached my table in a couple of minutes. My order looked and tasted awesome! The corn tortilla had fried zucchini topped with assorted veggies. This is one of the best and most authentic tacos I've ever tasted. The guacamole tasted fresh and was the perfect appetizer with the tortilla chips. Their staff was friendly and courteous during my visit. There's a 'Live in the moment' led-sign, which is ideal for a photo background. Their menu has vegetarian and vegan options, making this restaurant vegetarian-friendly. I enjoyed my meal so much that I even visited their restaurant on 7th Avenue when I was in the Downtown area. I wish I had restaurants like these back in my place. I'd love to dine here sometime in the future! Thanks to the team here for making my experience enjoyable. City Tacos will be one of my all-time favorite taco restaurants!

No-fuss delicious taco place to stop by. Food served up fast. They had a salsa bar with different salsa and aioli sauces. Got horchata, and a couple different tacos. Very fun and flavorful with quality ingredients.

Don't even know where to begin with this place. Everything was fantastic! Tunes were awesome, had me dancing and singing in my seat. Service from the team was helpful and kind. Food was magnificent! I tried each of the traditional tacos and all of them are must tries! Guacamole was yummy! Green and red salsa was on point. Spicy creamy dipping sauce is a must try. Loved this place!

Super delicious tacos! My favourite was the special edition vegilicious (vegetarian) taco, which has a phenomenal combination of flavours. I also got the surf and turf - shrimp was well done but I found the steak a little dry and the tortilla a little too thick (homemade tortillas tasted amazing though!)

If you want tacos done right, then I highly suggest getting them from here. There’s a reason City Tacos have such a good rep. The quality of the tortillas are phenomenal, the ingredients are incredibly fresh, the the service from start to finish is friendly and fast. Thank you for the amazing tacos as always. P.S. They do have plant based options as well.

Amazing tacos. I just love everything on their menu. The fish taco is to die for and I will definitely be back the next time I am in San Diego. Keep up the great work. For those who have pets, this place is super pet friendly so bring your fur baby!!!

Amazing fish tacos made freshly on site the best I have ever had - went a few times during my stay and adored it ! Even have a cheeky cool beer available to go with it !

Its nice to have a place with a variety of vegetarian tacos that werent just cactus or beans and cheese. We got the city zuchini and chili relleno. Each had a good mixture of veggies and sauce pairings. The tortias were a nice stretchy which was good considering the amount of filling would have ripped straight through a corn tortia. They had a sauce bar that was pretty good but the mango sauce was more of a syrup than a sauce. On its own it was too much but in the taco it worked. Overall a good spot.

We went to City Tacos in North Park for lunch today. The girl who was taking orders at the register was so busy texting on her phone that we had to wait for her to take our order. After about 20 minutes of waiting for our order and watching other people who came after us receive their order, we went up to the counter to ask about ours. Turns out she gave our order to someone else. How is that possible, especially when they place your number in a holder and you place on your table? It happened because she was preoccupied with her cellphone. Another ten minutes passed when she finally delivered our order. Guess what? Our order was wrong. She only gave us 3 out of the 5 tacos we ordered. I told her she needed to fix it and bring us our 2 missings tacos. She stood there for a minute staring at us like she didn't know what to do. So I said, "you need to bring us our other 2 tacos." "If you would have been paying attention when we placed our order instead of on your cell phone, maybe you would have got our order right." She left and about 10 minutes later, she finally gave us our other 2 tacos, with an attitude. If I was her boss I would have fired her. That's how bad her service was and how negative and nasty her attitude was. So to rate this City Taco location. The food was a 5 and the service was a negative 5.
