Awesome happy hour specials! I recommend getting there right at opening because they fill up pretty quickly. We had the hot honey pizza and the ceasar salad. Both were so good!! And the salad was huge! The atmosphere is also really nice with a ton of plants and a variety of seating. The board at the bar tells you where the next plane to fly overhead is coming from which is a pretty cool feature. Great spot!
We had an incredible experience during our San Diego vacation, starting with the drinks—they were unique and delicious, and since we tried four different ones, we can honestly say each was even better than the last. The food was equally impressive. We started with the C&C plate, which was a beautifully balanced charcuterie board with a great mix of cheese and salumi. The Panzanella salad was fresh and flavorful, and the Hot Honey pizza—which we described as 'juicy'—absolutely knocked our socks off. We finished with the cannoli trio, which were delicious and full-sized, so there was plenty to share. Most importantly, our server Ben was hands down the best waiter I’ve ever had. Despite managing a huge section, he remained friendly and attentive throughout our meal. He made incredible recommendations and even went above and beyond by helping us decide which sights to see during the rest of our trip. He’s so good, he should honestly run for Mayor! The vibe was immaculate, stunning decor and great music. We wanted to curl up on the couch next to the fireplace by the time we finished, which our host said was perfectly ok. Can't recommend Nolita Hall enough for anyone visiting Little Italy.
I have to say, if you are looking for a deal and love girls night, then Nolita Hall is such a great option. I have come mid-week for their girl dinner deal two times now, and I absolutely love this place. Not only is the $30 girl dinner, including Caesar salad, vodka, pasta, and truffle fries, accompanied with a espresso martini, simply excellent, but their service is always so friendly and makes the experience worthwhile. I came with a group of 11 girls for girl dinner plus birthday celebrations, and we truly enjoyed our overall experience. Make sure to set up a reservation if you’re trying to take advantage of the girl dinner deal since spots will fill up. Also, it’s only valid Tuesday through Thursday, and there are no modifications on the girl dinner selection.
Nolita Hall is easily my favorite spot in Little Italy. The space is absolutely gorgeous—huge ceilings, tons of natural light, and an design that feels high-end but still welcoming. It’s the perfect middle ground for someone who wants an awesome atmosphere but doesn't want to deal with the overwhelming, chaotic energy of the typical downtown crowd. Why I keep coming back: Incredible Pasta: The food is consistently delicious, especially their pasta dishes. The vodka pasta is a personal standout, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The Best Staff: The team here is so friendly and accommodating. They even went out of their way to put the 49ers game on for me, which made my visit! Great for Sports: It’s one of the few places where you can enjoy a first-class dining experience without missing the big game. They have massive projector screens and TVs, but it doesn't feel like a rowdy sports bar. Stunning Interior: The 60-foot skylight and floor-to-ceiling windows bring the outside in, and the split-flap board behind the bar (that tracks planes landing nearby!) is such a cool, unique touch. If you’re looking for a spot that’s stylish, friendly, and serves great food without the pretentious vibe, this is it. 10/10 recommend!
i’m usually there at nights with friends, but this time i was in little italy and decided to stop by right when they opened at 4 pm. i was pleasantly surprised to see they have pretty good happy hour and a solid daytime vibe. i thought it might be empty, but there were already people there and it felt lively without being too busy. what i really noticed during the day that i never catch at night was the planes flying right above. it was actually really cool to see and added a unique touch to the experience. definitely worth visiting during the day too.
Talk about a wonderful atmosphere and such a great place to grab a bite. The menu is limited for good reason as every bite was hand crafted for edible perfection. You can't go wrong at Nolita Hall. Check out their drink menu wooorf every penny. We came in with the family and they were so amazing to us. 5 stars all around 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Best espresso martinis!!!! My husband and I went for pre dinner drinks and just love the atmosphere. It’s always fun with a group too. Great selection of cocktails, great ambiance, and they have really good food too. Our first night out post baby so it was super great to enjoy some yummy cocktails. My husband also got an Amaro cocktail they the bartender recommended which was awesome! One of our fav spots in little Italy and everyone is always super cool who works there! It’s really cute over the holidays too with their decorations. Neighborhood staple for us!
Nolita Hall was incredible. We were travelling to SD from Toronto and our friend back home recommended it and it did not disappoint. The staff were really friendly, the drinks were delicious (some of the cocktails were a little too small but oh well, happy hour made it less painful) and the pizza’s were incredibly crafted. The highlight was the constant planes flying right over head and the board changing to share who was flying in and where they were flying from. Such a great idea! We had so much fun and would happily return to Nolita Hall on our next trip into SD.
Fantastic. Everything was amazing. The food was outstanding. These days, a lot of places are afraid to season their food but not here. Nothing lacked flavor. They had amazing cocktails, a varied wine list, and craft beer. Ryan Buck was our bartender. He was friendly and attentive, and we loved his cocktail creations. We can't wait to go back!
Definitely has a great atmosphere, but the drinks were weak and the food highly expensive and drowning in dressing. My skirt steak was cooked to perfection (medium rare). But then they put some salty brown gravy on it. The salad had a vinegar kick ,which for me was okay, put it wrecked my wife's palate. The fries were mid. The broccolini was overcooked, had no snap to it and also drowning in a buffalo sauce. I think less is more shoul be practiced. All in all you go to this place for the vibe not the food. The plants are refreshing. It has a great feel to it. Like your in someones exquisite backyard. Oh the olives app was fantastic. The staff made this place. A friendly and attentive crew is always appreciated. We might come back.
Love this place — the bartenders here deserve their own award category: 5-star humans slinging cocktails with flair and good vibes. The food, Solid. The atmosphere - stylish design and social energy. Bonus points for the giant digital board that shows flights passing overhead paired with quirky one-liners — it’s part art installation, part airport fever dream, and 100% conversation starter. Whether you’re posted at the bar or soaking in the skylight-lit lounge, it’s a great spot to hang, sip, and snack.
Made this reservation a month prior and was so excited to come eat here and be in those festive environment! That wasn’t the case though… made the reservation in advanced and we were seated in at a table in front of the door that was wide open blowing air at us.. needless to say we were pretty chilly during our meal.. :/ That was pretty upsetting honestly.. and it was pretty loud inside too with the people crowded around d the bar and servers running around trying to tend to everyone. It’s clear they were under staffed and over worked. We had a great server Ryan who was pretty on top of our orders and acknowledged when we were waiting longer than we should have. He was great and awesome to have at our table. We would have asked him to sit with us if he was off the clock that’s how great he was! And honestly he turned out night around given the fact that it was so cold where we were at. My friend and I ordered Crispy Baby Romaine, a side of Truffle Fries, Beef Carpaccio and the 16oz New York Strip Steak. We got the Crispy Baby Romaine chopped because our server recommended it like that so we could share it and it was perfect well seasoned and refreshing! I would order the salad for pick up on my way home if I’m passing through! The truffle fries were amazing! My friend and I ate both clean eating but we indulged in those fries for the night and they were really rewarding! The Beef Carpaccio was so well seasoned with yuzu and fresh with the arugula salad on top! It was so delicious! And even though it’s a carpaccio, it was absolutely filling! and the 16oz New York Strip Steak was cooked perfectly and seasoned so well! The grilled artichoke with it was so crunch and seasoned amazing I ate them both before anything else! The drinks were well flavored and strong! Over all it was a good experience food wise! And honestly Ryan our service really helped bring the night together!
3.5 Rating I made reservations on Open Table. Accurate and timely. Arrived and immediately was seated. The restaurant was crowded and there's was a line. Those with no reservations were waiting to to an hour, on a Sunday evening. If you want an ambient beautiful eating experience, Nolita is definitely in the top 5 and it's not surrounded by any natural elements. Q: Did Nolita Hall live up to the hype? A: Not quite. With the volume of high ratings, I expected to be more impressed. It wasn’t a bad experience, just not one that made me eager to return. Q: How was the famous espresso martini? A: Strong. Very strong. Heavy on the espresso, light on balance. I added heavy cream, but there was no saving it. If you like an aggressively coffee-forward martini, this may be your drink. It wasn’t mine. Q: What about the food? A: The quality is undeniable. Bolognese: Good flavor, but the sauce was thicker than I prefer. Pizza (fennel sausage and added the mushroom medley): Great texture, flavorful toppings, and a surprising heat kick that worked well. Caesar salad: Very good. Crisp, fresh, and, importantly, not wilted. Q: Is it worth the price? A: This is where hesitation sets in. Nolita Hall is à la carte, and the costs add up quickly. For two people, the bill reached $175 with gratuity, and that was without extra drinks or a starter. No one enjoys watching the bill rack up item by item. Q: Would you return? A: As a local, probably not on my own. That said, if I were entertaining out-of-town guests, I would consider it, mainly for the atmosphere and menu reliability. Next time, I’d likely try the steak frites. Q: What stood out positively? A: Excellent food quality and ingredients Chic, trendy ambiance Thoughtfully designed seating, tables, fireplace areas, sofas, counters, carriage-style seating Works well for solo diners, large groups, and celebrations Q: Final verdict? A: Nolita Hall delivers on quality and ambiance, but not on value or memorability, for me. It’s polished, dependable, and visually appealing, but not a place I’d seek out unless the occasion called for it. “Beautiful spaces attract you; memorable balance brings you back.”
Our experience at Nolita hall today was okay. We ordered the hot honey pizza and vodka sauce pasta and added meatballs. The pizza was very good but the pasta was honestly bad. The whole dish was pretty flavorless and even the meatballs needed salt. Also the pasta was overcooked. It was disappointing considering the prices.
One of the most aesthetically pleasing restaurants in the area. The use of decor in the space they have really is done well. Parking is a little tough so be ready to walk on busy days. The food was kind of basic, we stopped by during the midday menu, and seemed like the only real options were pizza. We got both, hot honey and cheese. The hot honey came out a bit burnt (the crust is kind of thin) and really didn’t have that much flavor. I’ve had other places where the hot honey is perfect, this wasn’t it. The cheese pizza was really good. Prolly would recommend coming in for dinner if you don’t want just pizza
Decent vibe and service, but my drink which was prescription tonic was lacking. It felt bitter and was difficult to finish. My husband had something by the bay and it was overly sweet.
Had reservations for dinner with my girlfriend. ordered 2 holiday drinks, priced at 17 dollars each. A Smore bourbon thing and a green grinch drink. Both honestly tasted unremarkable. Got a beer instead. Server was nice but overall service was kind of slow and saw it at other tables as well usually needing something and had to get people's attention. Got the burger which was okay. Tasted like in-n-out. Truffle fries which were very good. Ceasar salad was solid. Beef carpaccio was excellent as well and finally vodka sauce pasta with meatballs. Meatballs were dry but sauce was decent. We did not get the pizza, and I do not know if they were having an off night but we chose not to get the pizza because while looking at other guest's pizza, it was so undercooked on the bottom and the crust looked hardly charred. I saw a guest lift his pizza up and literally zero leopard print on the bottom of the crust. I would be weary of getting the pizza hear if they are sending out pies that look like that.
