My family has been going here weekly for years. The food is delicious, and the staff is so kind. 3 of us are vegetarian and there are plenty of options. My favorite is the Bernal Roll.
My fiancé and I love this place. We’ve been several times and the service is always so kind and the sushi is always great. We’ll continue to make it a date night spot of ours.
Best miso I’ve ever had. The fish quality is by far the best I’ve had in the city. Do yourself a favor and order the salmon sashimi, hamachi ceviche roll, + salmon inferno roll. Every time I come here I order something new because EVERYTHING on the menu is divine. Excellent customer service + worth every penny. Moki’s is a fantastic, neighborhood spot perfect for a cozy date with your boo on a crisp, perfect San Francisco night. Cheers friends.
We've been coming here for the last three years and we absolutely love it. The sushi is delicious, the service is top class, and they are amazingly kid-friendly, which you sometimes don't expect when the food is so GOOD!!
Consistently delicious menu and specials! Best sushi in the city, everything is always fresh and unique. The staff is friendly and fun. This is one of our favorite little neighborhood spots!
Food is absolutely delicious! Service is great and friendly. Small intimate Asian fusion sushi restaurant great for friends, a date or family! One of my favorites.
this is a review for Kiwa kitchen, during the day mocks turns into Kiwa kitchen. they have amazing rice bowls the staff is AMAZING. this is my go to lunch spot for sure in bernal.
Delicious sushi menu, great hot sake. Owners were attentive and the food was topnotch.
Lovely staff & awesome food. So impressed, really looking forward to going back again, can't recommend it enough.
Super nice, clean establishment and best sushi you'll ever have.
Excellent sushi at a good price. They have great variety with lots of hamachi rolls. This place is one of our favorites!
Delightful restaurant. We go there often - the fish is usually, but not always, good. The sushi is delicious. It's a favorite of my family.
Moki has been our family's go-to sushi spot for many years; our daughter lives in Brooklyn and it is a "must" on every visit home. Delicious, interesting rolls ("Ecstasy" in particular); corn fritters; impeccably fresh fish (spicy hotate is the only thing we can't share; we each need our own order); and sweet staff. WE LOVE YOU, MOKI!
I have been going to Moki’s for over a decade and could not recommend it more. Their food is delicious, and there is something for everyone (good vegetarian food too). In addition, the service is quick and amazing. My personal favorites are the avocado rolls and French fries.
Delicious food, warm environment, not over crowded, wonderful service. Easy for vegans to find options and they accommodate alterations well for preferences or allergies.
We’ve ordered delivery three times now and it has always been a success! Highly recommended. Delicious food, generous portions, speedy service.
This place is such a hidden gem. My favourite sushi place in SF - all rolls we ordered were fantastic!! The staff are super welcoming, friendly and able to provide us great recommendation. The restaurant is also very family friendly (our family has a few small children). Highly recommend!!!!!!
This is my neighborhood sushi - Pacific Island restaurant. The food is very fresh and plated like works of art. The service is prompt and friendly. Hawaiian music plays quietly in the background with the Giants game on a muted TV. It's all very relaxing. Check it out.
Charming restaurant with a wide variety of specialty sushi rolls with a Hawaiian twist! Super yummy, staff was very friendly and just a nice cozy spot :) highly recommend!
Love Moki's. We had the special garlic noodles with cod and Japanese curry pork katsu. Also a seaweed salad and a couple sushi rolls. Service is excellent and food was delicious
I was surprised at how much I liked this place since I had no expectations going in. The staff was super friendly, the sushi rolls had unique flavors and options, and the ngiri options were expensive (they have more stuff in addition to the menu). I would def come here again.
The sushi is very tasty, I recommend the one with the special habanero sauce if you like spicy, the place is very nice, an ideal place to go alone, with family, on a date or with friends
This is actually a review for Kiwa Kitchen. Kiwa is open for lunch in Moki's spot. We stumbled across it by accident while out for a stroll. They're sort of a Japanese/Burmese fusion restaurant. The ramen I had was pretty tradition (and yummy!) as was my wife's chicken katsu. But the Squash Tempura we had came with a special Burmese tamarind sauce which was deeeeeeelicious. Definitely going back there for lunch soon!
This place is wonderful. Great Sushi, (hamachi roll excellent), lovely owner and staff, nice atmosphere. Def recommend!
Attentive service from all servers we saw this day. Have coloring for Littles. Fast with our food and great quality. It has a Hawaiian feel to it that my son and I enjoyed. Cozy seating. Parking on street and on a Sun was easy to find. Seems could be tricky.
Such friendly service. Delicious food and served hot! Definitely going back!
OMG. Fantastic sushi! I had the corn fritters and yummy yummy roll and they were absolutely perfect. Definitely the best corn fritters I’ve ever had.
Ive been here a couple times, food and service are always great!! Very cute place too:)

Salmon inferno, hamachi ceviche, lighthouse were all amazing! Good actual spice, freshness, and crunch! New favorite sushi spot
We had a wonderful experience at Milo’s. Service was great, and our rolls even better! We shared a bottle of saki, had a couple starters and two rolls and were more than satisfied! We will be back
I love Moki's, this is my neighborhood sushi restaurant. This is where I go to get my sushi fix but I usually get it to go. But I really should stay and dine in more often because it's the cutest, coziest place. They've really gone to great care to make their guests feel comfortable and enjoy their meal. This extends to the high quality and beautiful preparation of the sushi. The food is fantastic, everything I've tried has been so good. Moki's is everything you want a neighborhood restaurant to be. Definitely try them, if you haven't. I'll be back for sure!
Absolutely delicious food. Ordered the jungle roll and spicy papaya salad. Also had the pear and bleu salad and lastly the corn fritters. Everything was so amazing and tasty. The service was fantastic and food came at a good time. I would highly recommend this place for some great sushi and phenomenal service.
Best neighborhood sushi place around. Incredible service and food. Worth stopping in when visiting or if you're local!
Me and my family are on a vacation in the United States and we needed some distance from all the tourist. We asked ChatGPT for some restaurants that aren’t really known by tourist and we decided that we needed to got to this sushi restaurant. We were welcomed by a nice Asian man that was really polite, the food was absolutely amazing and the service was awesome. We totally recommend this place too the people that don’t wanna deal with all the crowed places.
Wow, the sushi is great but the people are even better! I love the lovely touch of a treat for our kiddo. This is why everyone loves this place.
Fantastic place! A few colleagues and I stayed at an Airbnb in the neighborhood and liked this place so much we visited 3 times in the week we spent in SF. I lived in Japan years ago and this was a great reminder of how good sushi can be. Delicious food, and really friendly dly owners/staff made it a great experience - definitely recommend!

The baby back ribs are always tender and just falls right off the bone. Accompanied with a sushi dish and fried banana lumpia for desert, you will go home very satisfied.
Sunday evening it was a bad off night here. Very slow service, small sushi rolls with little fish. Apparently, staff is new due to pandemic resignations so have to be trained. They have lots of sushi roll choices here. If you have any issues, ask for the manager who's been there for years or send them an email. They will take care of you because they care about customer retention.
Very nice small sushi restaurant but made us order everything right away because they were closing they should have stayed later so we could get another roll or two as I was still hungry.
Great food and service. They have a very nice selection of rolls, appetizers, and entrees. The rolls we had we're great. The ingredients were fresh, and pricing was fair.
The service was good the food was like any other Japanese Sushi place of acceptable quality. The crab cakes were not fresh because you could taste the sea.
The food is good standard sushi. The fish is very fresh. The service was meant to be nice but was intrusive and invasive. I recommend it for a local place.
I ate at the week day lunch pop-up that’s in Moki’s called “Kiwa’s”. It was so cute and I liked the salmon bowl! I would have preferred if it was spicier though.
Hmmmmmm great names for rolls. Non alcoholic beer tasted good. Great for birthdays or so I think. The staff were friendly and the rolls were not too spicy. I can recommend the Kimmie roll however I do get a commission on that roll. Four stars

Average fish quality, small portions (a roll with only 6 pieces? come on), and slightly overpriced. The service was good however. Seems like the positive reviews are from before COVID which skews the current rating. I personally wouldn't go out of my way to come back here.
I've been going to Mokis for years. The par seems to be dropping. Last visit my meal didn't come to the tab let until after everyone else had finished theirs. I ate alone while everyone else watches and got anxious to leave. Not a great experience.
I've been to Moki's probably 15 times and I still like it. Good sushi, good prices, and a nice place. Have had some minor bumps with service at times, but they redeem themselves.
The sushi was pretty good. Overall it was a good experience. I didn’t pull me out of the water but I’d be OK with going back if I was invited by some friends. I ordered sushi for the first time ever with personally I believe and it was just way overpowering inside of the sushi. It’s a great idea but it needs to be balanced better inside the rolls.

Below average sushi. Nice ambience for drinks/chill. We arrived around 7pm on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is half filled, bustling but good sound level to have a decent conversation. We were promptly seated and ordered green tea which was served in a nice modern tea pot. The menu option was pretty limited. We ordered a Grilled Salmon (3/5), Kona Roll (2/5) and a Hamachi (2/5). The sushi ain't great. The best item amongst what we ordered was the Grilled Salmon. Will not recommend this place if you are hunting for good sushi. The food is also rather over priced. This, however, is a fantastic place for a causal date over a couple of drinks. The decoration, lighting and overall ambience makes it a decently romantic place to hang out. Feel really nice in there, just my tummy did not come out feeling happy.
