All the one star reviews are L I E R S. All because they didn’t get the same attention they got as a kid…ANYWAYS I def recommend this restaurant!!! Came in on a Sunday around 6 and was seated right away. Servers were running up and down ATTENDING to the customers who ordered before we got there (obviously). Ordered our food and while we waited, they brought out the banchans(sides dishes). Food took about 20 mins which is a good sign they make their food fresh and not from the fridge like other places. Food was hot when it got to the table. Servers checked on us and were super nice!! Vibes were cozy and as kpop was playing in the background. Oh I’m def coming back here again
The Food here are pack full of delicious flavor. Huge generous portions. Exciting Sizzling hot food Gailbi, fried rice egg bomb. My favorite appetizer are the Crispy Korean pancake and Cheese ball. the star of the meal is paring it with the Honeycomb makulri wine . The service was great too. The host gave us great drinks food recommendations. They did a great job helping our large group get our order in . The ambiance here is super fun. Great place for friends to enjoy delicious fun food and drinks
The Waiter was nice and helpful to explain the menue . Yummy🔥 The kitchen was fast. The food is awesome! The decoration are original. It is affordable for good meat. Parking available and free past 6pm. Upscale kind of restaurant Well come back :) Thank you
I absolutely loved this place. I ordered spicy pork bbq (perfection) and Grilled Mackerel. They have mastered the art of adding the right flavours to the fish that hit the spot. I also tried their Ginseng flavoured wine which just enhanced the whole experience altogether. Btw, the waitress recommended the drink and she was amazing! A must try.
This is the best kimchi in San Francisco. It’s very flavorful and strong, and almost has a soda-like texture due to the fermentation. The kimchi fried rice and spicy tofu soup are delicious, and the portions are quite generous. Each order comes with bonchon side dishes like kimchi, salad, bean sprouts, and fish cake. They’re also open late!
Really love kimchi soup and bbq pork belly.
First time back after the remodeling and my group of 8 had a blast. The girls came for the honey makgeolli and loved it. Huge portions so don't order hungry. The atmosphere was felt like a sojubang in Seoul with lots of kpop and lively crowds all around. My favorite was the kalbi tang.
Was there at the beginning of September. Best korean food I ever had! My cousin lives nearby and she often goes there for dinner. The restaurant is small and it can be very crowded. But seriously, try this place out! I loved the BBQ short ribs and the soft tofu soup.
Great Korean Kalbi. So fresh and juicy. I was treated with so much care and attention and the food was superb. I have to get the photos from my girlfriend because I was too busy eating. Love it. Will come back soon.
5 stars because they open late night and staffs are very welcoming even though we came 40 mins before closing with large parties. The food (I go to LA often for Korean food) was really good true flavor. I can totally see that they dont use MSG like other places. staffs are also very attentive even though they are tried from opening late night. I will totally come back here again next time. Owner told us that they will gbe having some new menu soon. Cant wait to try!
Food was great! Came here with some friends and got kimchi fried rice, bulgogi, army stew, seafoood pancake and fries! Service was great would recommend :)
Such a yummy Korean spot in the Sunset! This places offers a variety of Korean food. From soups/stews, to bibimbaps, to delicious appetizers like the one we got which is their signature House wings! They have new menu items that they just dropped which is the Matcha makgeoli, buldak omelette, tofu salad, and the watermelon hwachae. All perfect for this summer! This is what we ordered: - Buldak Omelette - This was such a cheesy goodness omg it was so good! They added the buldak ramyeon into an omelette and then added a bunch of cheese on top! I love that the cheese and egg slightly cuts the spicyness from the ramyeon~ - Matcha Makgeoli with honeycomb - What a fun way to drink makgeoli! I’m actually not someone who drinks alcohol but them adding matcha and honeycomb was just so intriguing! They cut up a slice of honey comb in front of you and add it to your cup, after mixing everything together you get that taste of rice wine & sweetness. - Army Stew - Simple and delicious stew, full of ramyeon, spam, hot dog, tofu and cabbage. I got the mild and that was just right for me. - Beef Bibimbap - This is perfect for two people to share if you’re ordering other items. This came out hot and sizzling. Mixing it all together was so beautiful to watch 😍😂 - The crew house garlic wings - We chose the garlic flavor. I love that their wings were flavorful but the garlic flavor wasn’t overpowering. It was slightly sticky as well from the sauce being glazed over the wing.
So damn good you’d start speaking Korean. Okay maybe not but it’s still really good. Came here and had the crazy ramen and bbq beef ribs - super delicious and highly recommended. I’ll be back and this time with the crew.
Came on a Tuesday night at 830pm and our large group of 7 was able to be seated with no delays. Shortly after though between 9-10pm, the restaurant was pretty crowded. Fortunately we beat the rush. The food comes out and is really yummy but for the larger entrees they actually do not seem that huge. For example the daeho kalbijim definitely way more worth it than this one. But still yummy! Service was good. Overall great late night Korean spot here in the sunset. Enjoy!
The Crew’s Mango habanero chicken wings were amazing. Great flavor and the perfect consistency of sauce that wasn’t too thick or runny. The honeycomb drink had a great presentation with the honeycomb cut fresh in front of us. The tornado potato stick was light textured and delicious! Good mozzarella cheese balls.
The best army stew available in the Bay Area!! Delicious and hearty. Kotsal and other beef dishes were great as well. Will definitely return!
My review from 2018 is below, but I want to update since their grand re-opening! 2023: loved the crew before they closed to renovate, and I love it even more since the grand reopening! They re-vamped the menu and aesthetics, and it’s gone from casual local favorite to an elevated experience, while the prices are still just as affordable! They even have more gluten free and vegan options, but kept all the classics like bibimbap and Korean BBQd meats prepared in authentic Korean style. I will be going back regularly, it’s a 10/10! 2018 review: Best Korean BBQ in the city! Korean BBQ places are not always very inclusive for people that have food allergies, but gluten free and vegan options are easily found here, and the lovely staff is always happy to accommodate. These folks are famous in the city for their Kim Chi, as well, so it is not to be missed!
I went to this restaurant with my family last night on Christmas Day! Today is very busy, but the food is delicious! Good service attitude! Highly recommended!
Love this place! They're open late and the quality of the food is great. My favorites are the seafood pajeon, fried chicken wings, and their seafood soon dubu.

We ordered banchan, a seafood pancake, and spicy tofu soup. The food was hot and delicious. Popular K-pop songs were playing in the background. The pancake was huge. Had leftovers to take home.

TLDR: great seafood pancake and service We came for a late night bite and service was great. He was attentive without being overbearing, also did a great job setting up other tables for the next day. We ordered a rice cake with ramen, which had pieces of sausage inside and had some good flavor. The curry katsu was very lightly fried and not heavy, but I wasn’t the biggest fan of the curry sauce. My favorite was the seafood pancake which had huge chunks of seafood , like tail-on shrimp and not like those puny frozen shrimp. -1: curry sauce I didn’t enjoy and the dining area was super drafty and cold
Pork belly was good but the kalibi beef was delicious!! The bun was soft and sturdy. About $3 and change per bun. 2 were just right for lunch. Took a couple to go. On street parking (if you are lucky). Small place and gets crazy busy on weekends.
The name of this place kinda throws you off... possibly thinking it's a sunset dive bar, nah. Delicious Korean food accessible late night 'til 2am. THE crew introduced me to the classic Kimchi Pancake and i haven't found another ro match it. Chesse option is good too, but straigh kimchi is the best. Another dish you can't miss is Dolsot Bibimbap, which is cooked in a stone bowl to make the rice extra crispy. Always easy parking, fast service, and chill vibes.
The Crew gives you a combination of street and home style BBQ. For Covid compliance, they have built outside small booths with roofs (so in case it rains) and some side tables. Hand sanitizers everywhere. You don't get to sit unless you order food and it's first come first serve.
Small place with a good selection of seafood. A simple decor. Sometimes it can be crowded. The food is always fresh. Friendly staff. I highly recommend thus place if you wanna to eat a tasty food !!!
SF standard of pricey but delicious Korean food and drinks! Atmosphere was moderate noise level so it’s nice to talk with friends. Definitely recommend going with a big group for sharing!
Really good spot for bbq, Kim chi soup and Kim chi fried rice in Noriega. Parking is the usual with Noriega but worthy the effort. Meat is tender and flavorful and the egg mixed with kimchi friend rice is a must. The galbi, bimimbap, and potstickers are also really good. Service is good as well.
Ordered black pork belly, kalbi, fried chicken wings, rose tteokbokki, and honey makgeolli. They ran out of intestines, and the tteokbokki was on the sweet side (the only thing we couldn't finish). Overall, good quality food and will come back to try the intestines.
My order: Beef Kimchi Fried Rice, cheese Balls, Kalbi Tang. The soup had very little noodles and beef and same with the Beef Kimchi Fried Rice they served little bits of beef in it, The cheeseballs were ok. Overall the quality of food was alright.
The food is decent! The environment is pretttttttty loud 😂 I like the honey rice wine and it gets kind of really sweet at the end haha. We got full too.
I'm not qualified to judge how authentic the food was, but it was really good! The decor was pretty cute except where someone had written the name of the restaurant and then erased only part of it from the wall a few times.... The service was good, but the prices were pretty high! Most dishes were in the $22-$27 price range, but some were as low as $13 before tax. If you are wanting a fountain soda, they only have 4 options (Coke, diet coke, Sprite, and Fanta I believe) and they were $2 for one can with no refill. Maybe I'm just not over my sticker shock though🤷♀️ SF is an expensive place to go out.
Saddens me how a few months ago, this restaurant out in the Sunset in SF was burglarized. People that are already suffering from the pandemic having to deal with another hurtful blow in life... I've been to The Crew a few times before the pandemic but never ordered their food to go. I see their food as Korean comfort food. Hot bowl of tofu soup, tteokboki, galbi and their awesome garlic wings. A few sips of their yogurt soju, the belly is warm and full. Thank you The Crew for putting a smile on my face and I hope they continue on their road of recovery and towards success
Great place to eat with friends or family! We ordered the BBQ Combo #2, and it was plenty for 4 people. We enjoyed the spicy pork, pork belly, and beef bulgogi with tofu soup. If you're craving KBBQ, this spot will satisfy you. We also tried the chicken wings, which were just okay—not a must-try, in my opinion. They could be crispier and less saucy. I definitely want to come back and explore more of the menu.

Late night munchies? This place is open until 1am on Fridays & Saturdays! Here you'll find their famous honeycomb makgeolli and a bunch of other Korean comfort dishes, all made from scratch by Korean Chefs. What we ordered: * Buldak Omelette (NEW!) * Budae Jijigae Army Stew * The Crew Wings (garlic) * Beef Bulgogi BBQ * Watermelon Hang-Ah-Ri Joo * Matcha Makgeolli w/ Honeycomb It’s pretty small and limited amount of tables, so don’t be surprised if there’s a wait if you go during peak hours.

I've eaten here with friends before and came back here a year later for dinner. For dining you have the option of Korean BBQ (grilling your own food) or getting regular dinner. We got the regular dinner because we weren't that hungry. I got the bulgogi beef (short ribs) which was really good. The tofu soup was ok. Service was slow since there's only one waiter seating, taking orders, serving and clearing tables.
The food is pretty standard. I ordered tteokbokki with ramen. The ramen noodles are my favorite with this dish. For some reason she didn’t understand that’s part of the menu and wouldn’t add them/said it wasn’t possible. (Add ramen for $2). I was pretty disappointed when I got home.
Decent food but horrendous delivery packaging. It comes with no lids, and is just sealed with a sheet of plastic which cannot be resealed after opened. Sorry, but I cannot recommend anyone order delivery from here.
The food is OK. They use lean pork in the BB Q and tofu soup, which is more heathy. And, they didn't put too much MSG in the food, which is good. However, the food was only luke warn when served. Would've been better if it came out piping hot.
The spicy wings weren't spicy at all. It was just very sweet and overcooked. The japchae was too sweet as well. Kimchi was bland. Wasn't to my liking but others may like it.
Love the Bibimbap- rice is cooked right that it is soft sweet, generous portion of different vegetables and meat. I dont need to add more sauce, just eat as they are to taste the freshness of the ingredients. Fried chicken is disappointing though that the marinate is just on the surfaces of the skins

The food was downright delicious, but the experience was less than ideal. First it seemed understaffed, and after waiting probably 10 to 15 minutes for my server to come back to the table so I could ask for the check I had to get up out of my seat to get his attention. Not his fault, he was bustling about like a madman, but they need more servers. The bigger problem was that the menu was dishonest. It listed the "meat/seafood bibimbop" as $26.95, but on the check it was listed as $30.90. When I went to ask the server about it, he said I paid extra for the choice of meat and pulled out a menu to show me, only to not be able to find where it said that. He said he'd tell the owner so hopefully it will be fixed, but I have my doubts.
Both food and honeycomb makgeolli are decent, and the place is not worth the hype. There is one thing you should noted before you go here is the restaurant charge 22% of tips if you have a party of 6. They didn’t let you know ahead before you order. That’s a lot of service charges compared to the service we received. We decided not to come back, and that’s why I am leaving one star.
