The BEST Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich in the world! The Philly on Fire with Tri Tipp is my favorite item on the menu. Chicken strips are amazing. The club sandwich is also another excellent choice. Pizza and ribs are a hit. Overall definitely a must to eat here!

Sat at the bar in the back. Bartender was great and super helpful and fun to talk to. Food was great. I had chicken though I don’t like chicken it was very well prepared. Everyone here was friend. Wish they had better beer selection.

Finally great BBQ in San Jose. I use to travel to Austin, Texas and they know BBQ out there. I haven't found a place that could come close to it except for Malibu Grill and BBQ. Excellent Brisket and Ribs and sides are really good too. This will be our go to BBQ restaurant.

This place hits on another level and it's all delicious! Fresh BBQ daily, burgers are on point, and the BBQ brisket pizza is so good, no other pizza comes close. Highly recommend.

The BBQ ribs & brisket were tender, smoked to perfection, The beans had brisket pieces in them & tasted great. The kids at the counter couldn't have been more helpful and nice.

Place has been around forever and still the same , a good spot right by the mountain, good pit stop or hang out for drinks and sports. The vibe is chill not too hype but a good local neighborhood spot to take a moment.

Had the pulled pork sliders they were delicious and the onion rings. I think ill come back just for the onion rings alone. The place also very very clean

SO GOOD I had the best experience with customer service. The girl who took my order was soooo nice and had a great conversation with me plus the food is AMAZING. Nothing fancy but great yummy comfort food with options for everyone. Great garden chicken salad, mozzarella sticks, and blt. Highly recommend getting curly fries with spicy ranch.

I love this place! The food is amazing and the staff is great. I wish they had a little more room inside. Other than the space issue, A+. The Malibu Stix are fantastic and I think everyone should give them a try. We will continue to be loyal customers. Thank you!

Malibu Grill & BBQ is a neighborhood joint where locals were sitting at the bar and at the tables. People were introducing themselves to each other and were quite friendly. This is a counter service restaurant that delivers food to your table after you order. I was a little put off by the fact that if you use a credit card, their point of sale system nags you for a tip with 15% being the least amount you can choose. I think I counter service restaurant should not ask for a 15% tip. I had a Philly tri-tip cheese-steak sandwich but the meat was cut into small pieces rather than prepared Philadelphia style. The food was okay but not spectacular. The food was somewhat expensive and I think they should be able to pay their servers rather than nag people for a tip at a counter service restaurant.

Go to neighborhood spot for viewing sports, excellent service, and best known for burgers and brews. Salads, chicken , sandwiches AND pizza fill out a great varied menu. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the use of space. Definitely not ADA friendly, the location next to 7-Eleven in a tiny strip mall limits what they can do, but tables and chairs are completely crowded. Doesn't stop me from going back.

Real.good BBQ. A little hidden away, we wouldn't have noticed it if we hadn't gone to 7-12. A really good neighborhood kind of place with good food. The BBQ plate is a very good value.

A very nice place hidden in a creepy strip mall. Run by friendly people that make you want to come back. Their food was a mixed bag. My wife's chicken breast was PERFECT, tender and juicy. Unfortunately, my leg and thigh were tough and dry. The brisket tends toward the fatty side, which is a preference for some. The beans and mac & cheese were excellent, but the corn muffins would have benefited from being warmed up. Didn't try their pizza or hamburgers, but they looked great!

Great local spot by Almaden Valley. I was in the neighborhood during lunch and wanted something more than typical fast food. Decided to take a chance on Malibu Grill. It's hidden in the corner of a small strip retail center and doesn't look like much from the outside. The staff was friendly and service was quick. The fire option was a little more spicy than I expected, but it was flavorful. The fries were great, too. They come with a little Cajun spice on them. Been going to this place for years but it's been a couple years since my last visit. I've never been disappointed in the past until today (12/07/23. I am assuming that it is under new ownership? The menu has changed a little bit. You can no longer get a personal size pizza and the combination was a disappointment. They only have 16" size and it is not worth the $26. The young man taking orders was very nice though. 2 beers and an average pizza was not worth the $46. My cousin was not happy with his sandwich and also does not think, along with a soda, it was worth $24.

The bbq tasted more charred (burnt) than smoked,no real flavor; the potato salad had too much mustard, the sauces had no flavor just tasted like ketchup with vinegar. The onion rings were good. The service was meh, placed our order and it was delivered to our table. My husband’s order of ribs also super burnt tasting.

Nice people but very little chicken in the chicken philly ($20) and the malibu burger is a thin patty for $17. Large quantity of fries but this is too expensive for the amount of meat. I felt like I was eating greasy onions and green peppers with a garnish of chicken in my sub. Not worth the money.

The food is great, but they have no idea how to run a business. They have super confusing hours (trust me Google has them wrong) and on top of that they close early when they feel like it. The last two times we tried to go for dinner they were closed or closing, so I'm done trying. I'm over this place. Hours the guy just told me (The door is marked different) Mon closed all day Tues close at 8 Wed close at 8 Thur close at 8 Friday close at 9 but sometimes early Saturday close at 9 but sometimes early Sunday close at 8

We came to Malibu Grill for dinner tonight and had a bad experience. The cashier was super friendly and made sure our order was correct and that's was the only good part of our service tonight. Our order took a long time to come out, and when it did, they only brought us 3 entrees instead of the 4 we ordered. They had forgotten to make the last burger. The cashier said she would have them make the other burger right away. I had ordered a honey mustard chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries. Both came out cold. I would prefer a hot meal but I was okay eating a cold sandwich because I was hungry. I was not okay with the cold fries especially since they charge $3 more for the upgrade to sweet potato fries. I asked her for new fries because they were cold and she said that they would be out in a few minutes. I took a bite of my sandwich and realized that there was no honey mustard on the sandwich at all. I waited a few minutes for thr cashier to come back then took it up to the kitchen and explained what was wrong. The cook took the plate from me. When he brought my sandwich back out, they had just slopped some honey mustard on the old sandwich. He said he'd make me a new one and asked if I wanted to keep the old one. I said I could give it to my dog. He gave me an new order of fries and never came back. They brought the missing burger about 5 minutes later and it was made with mayo although that's not how it was ordered; my dad just decided to scrape it off. I waited and waited for the new chicken sandwich and it never came. My mom went to the kitchen and asked about it and the cook said that they weren't making a new one but she could pay for another sandwich. My mom asked why she would pay for another sandwich when she had already purchased one and they screwed it up and had said they would make a new one for messing up. He said he was only going to redo the fries. The cook in the background was laughing about the situation. Super unprofessional! We have been coming here for years and have recommended it to many people. Now we won't be coming back!

We thought no problem at least we ordered sandwiches. My Nashville fried chicken was unacceptable….it was so over cooked the chicken was rubber and had no Nashville hot seasoning on it. I was baffled. We also ordered the patty melt lol and that was not good at all. The beef patty was so small on the bread, the mushrooms were old and we couldn’t taste the cheese. The last sandwich we ordered was the smoked chicken sandwich and at least that was edible. For 120$ This experience made us very sad 😔

Visited this spot because of previous reviews, and those were incorrect! Ordered brisket, ribs, and mac n cheese, which were luke warm. Sauces were not good. Wish I could give a better review. But, unfortunately, it was disappointing.

I can say with all honesty today is the last day I’ll order from here. Their meat is tasty but the value is no longer here. Today I received 2 spicy and 2 regular bbq sauces with my order and I thought they were just mislabeled as ketchup. The sauce is garbage now the portions are weak. You are better off going somewhere else. This crazy because they used to be so good. The only possible good thing about this place is the awesome lady I see out there every morning grinding on the smoker. Shout out to that lady
