Super friendly and nice. The staff was very happy and cheerful. Very polite. We hadd a very large group of almost 20 people. The pizza 🍕 and hot wings were very good 👍. It was an a Sunday evening and the food just kept on coming lol 😆. Very nice atmosphere inside and out. Thank you

You don't think pizza when you are in California but man... This pizza is awesome! The dough makes it. Light and fluffy but thick enough to know it is there. Nice looking salad bar and drink options as well.

Even though I live quite a bits way from here, this place keeps making me come back for more and more. Every time I’ve come I’ve had a great experience from the customer service, ambiance, cleanliness and tasty food. They have so many options for meat lovers and vegetarians alike as well as thin and thicker crust pizzas. Their comes come in large quantities and have house made ranch sauce as well. You can truly tell they put a lot of effort into their craft and try to give a homey feel by making almost everything from scratch. I’ve already been here many times and I don’t plan on stopping!

Deep is the best server come on in and have pizza, wings & beer. They have 14 tabs of local rotating beer. 🍺 🍕🍗🍗

Love going to this place. The staff is always friendly. We love the pizza, our favorite pizzas are the earthquake and chicken club. They also have rotating craft beers which is a big plus.

After 13 years of eating pizza here I’m taking the time to write a review. My family and I we love the pizza we drive about 30 minutes to be here. The staff is great and friendly, pizza California is cosy and the pizza is delicious. If you are looking for a place to eat a good pizza this is the place and of course the they have all games. My family we’ll continue to eat here. Thank you very much. I forgot one thing beer is great as well.

Can't give this place enough stars!! If you want a crunchy crust and well portioned toppings...this is the place to go! We come all the way from the Walnut Creek area just for this pizza! I'm telling you, it's worth the trip! Came out here on a Friday, drive was about an hour. We ordered and the ETA was 45 mins? SURE! NO PROBLEM! Definitely worth the wait! We are 100% satisfied! No regrets here! Thank you Pizza California for never disappointing! [Except on Mondays when you're closed! :( ]

We had a birthday dinner yesterday night and all of the dishes were fresh and very tasty! Especially enjoyed the pear & gorgonzola salad with their house-made cranberry sauce. We also tried 2 of the vegetarian pizzas and both tasted great. Service was wonderful too, we will be back again :)

Excellent pizzas! Amazing salads! Everything is delicious. Great Staff! Terrific customer service. They seem to really like their job and it shows! I've been going there for 20+ years! During the pandemic, there is seating outside with heaters. Many large screen TVs to watch too.

Great flavor combos. They are happy to adjust some things on the regular pizza menu such as type or amount of sauce, swap a topping or two, thin or thick crust. Sourdough crust is scrumptious. A small thin crust is good for 1 very hungry person. Thick crust small is good for 2 people, maybe a slice left. Medium thin crust is good for 2 - 3 people depending on appetite. Decent price for what you get but finding a coupon would be nice.

I must say this is one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. They definitely put love in their food. I appreciate that. I had a problem with my grubhub delivery driver tampering with my food. I contacted Pizza California and they offered not only to make me a new pizza but also deliver it to me with one of their drivers at no charge. I would definitely come back and recommend them to all my friends and family. Keep it up guys. Jacob your a great supervisor. Thanks guys. See you next time.

The Honey Sriracha & Tabasco Pepper w/ Roasted Onions wings were delicious. The Earthquake and Monterey Chicken pizzas were quite good, the sourdough crust had a good texture and bite to it, not too thick and not too skinny! Just perfect. The Steakhouse thin crust pizza has a light crunch to it, it was my first time having steak pizza and it did not disappoint. Last but not least, don’t forget their refreshing beers- 14 beers on tap from local vendors and a great wine selection! We decided to get the beer flights, and it was so refreshing and delicious with the pizzas!

I ordered two Not So Margharita pizzas. One my son ordered with his specification, and one with my own flavor profile. Long story short, my son ate my pizza, and when I took my first bite I could tell immediately it was not what I ordered. I asked my son about it and he assured me he had eaten the right pizza. I called Pizza California and stated my problem with my pizza. The assistant manager called the manager. We were on the phone, going over and over my receipt I screamed and shouted. In the end the manager decided to come pick up the wrong pizza and bring me another. In the meantime I was not satisfied and checked my computer… sure enough, my pizza matched item by item the one my son ordered. I called back to apologize very graciously they accepted. They had already made and delivered the new pizza. I tried to pay for the new pizza as well… but they wouldn’t accept my payment. They were so gracious and kind…. I just don’t know what to say. I truly appreciate the way they went out of their way to express their appreciation for my apologies and truly showed me they care about their customers. Thank you so much pizza California Management. Your pizzas are truly delicious and you truly care about your customers!!

The steakhouse pizza was pretty good. It was a little pricey but quality ingredients.

This place has gone downhill. Picking up an order on a Monday night, the pizza was late and when called to pickup, the cashier turned around quickly before we could ask for plates or anything else. The customer service leaves something to be desired and they seemingly no longer send out coupons. Also they no longer collect your rewards on their website. Instead, they send you an email with a little coupon code that you have to remember to apply for next time. The quality dipped for a bit but seems to be back. I don't go here nearly as much as we used to. Salads are no longer packed with the care that they used to lol. There is always something wrong with the salad order. I don't bother anymore. Original review: This place is always delicious and I appreciate that I can get a fresh salad here when my family wants pizza, but I'm not feeling it. I've never had anything I didn't like from here. This is a really solid place!

Been coming here since they opened. Had an Earthquake today and the skimping of toppings is getting too aggressive. Like you're just getting crust. Lots of bald spots on the pizza. Definitely not worth the cost. Used to get what you paid for. Less inclined to return.

Pizza and garlic cheese bread tasted like they put a can of salt in it. Discussing food. Ended up walking out and feeling sick from the food. I do not recommend this restaurant as it got me sick .

This pizza place use to be good before it was purchased by a new owner. All of the great features have slowly disappeared from the pizza, beer, atmosphere, and not playing local sports! I recently visited for their pizza and 2 different types had little to no sauce on them. The red sauce looked like it was scraped off to bare minimum and the other pizza that comes with spicy honey had none that I could taste. The pizza was also not cooked all the way through with exposed raw dough under all the toppings. To be clear, my family has visited this place since 2021 and recently it’s hit or miss and now serves MSG with their food, enjoy! We will not visit again. Beware they also use heavy solution of bleach that will stain your clothes if not dried.
