⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had dinner at Suspiro and it was fantastic. The Croquetas de Jamón were perfectly crispy with a creamy, savory center, and the Ceviche Mixto was incredibly fresh and bright with a great balance of citrus and spice. The Patatas Bravas were another standout—crispy potatoes with aioli and brava sauce that were seriously addictive. The real star though was the Flan Clásico. Silky, creamy, perfectly balanced sweetness, and honestly one of the best flans I’ve had. If you go here, order the flan. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and absolutely worth the visit while in Santana Row.
Came to have dinner for my partner birthday, the place is very nice. We sat outside the heater kept us warm the service here is great kept checking on our table, our server Oswaldo was a great host! The food here is delicious, will be coming back!
Came here for a late lunch and the server and food were all amazing. I ended up ordering the seafood paella which came out really fast and delicious. They were able to accommodate our request for vegetarian/pescatarian options with no issues. We also got two drinks but mine didn't taste that great is there a quick to recommend a different drink as well. Overall, I would definitely come back for more especially now knowing there's a hidden speakeasy!
What a fantastic meal! Suspiro brings together Spanish and Peruvian cuisine in the most creative way. We shared a few dishes, starting with the fresh and vibrant ceviche, which was a highlight. The fried calamari was perfectly crispy and flavorful, but the star of the show was definitely the rich and flavorful seafood paella, loaded with succulent mussels and shrimp. We also tried some of their unique tapas which were not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The restaurant has a great modern atmosphere and is perfect for a date night or a special dinner with friends. Can't wait to go back
We had an excellent overall experience. The service was fantastic—our server was friendly, welcoming, and very attentive. The food was delicious. The seafood in the paella was tender and juicy, though I would have preferred it to be cooked a little longer to develop the rice richer flavor. The La Mar cups were a delightful and flavorful cocktail. The sour fish salad was another highlight; while I loved its taste, my friend found it a little too sour for his liking.
It was a last minute decision to go here, I’d been let down by some friends to celebrate my birthday and it was just me and 1 friend in the end. Our server made me feel special, wishing me happy birthday, writing out a card, providing a cake! He explained the menu to us, making recommendations and checking in. The food was delicious and came out in good time! My favourite was the steak & mushroom kebabs, so tender. I will definitely return and hope we get the same wonderful server, his name is lucky!
Visited on a Wednesday evening for a dinner for two. The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly - Alisha our host was exceptional! Food (Paella and Empanadas)is great and atmosphere is lively. Definitely recommend a visit!
This is a very lovely place! The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The food taste amazingly good. We had paella, ceviches mix and beef empanadas. It was really good. I thoroughly enjoyed my food and time at this place!
I found Suspiro from Instagram, there's a secret bar hiding inside the restaurant(well, I wouldn't call it speakeasy but it's unique). Food is beyond amazing. Staff is super friendly. Cocktail is delicious. There's nightclub vibe even though it's just late afternoon. Compares to SF Peruvian restaurant La Mar, I had to say I love Suspiro even more. Highly recommend it.
We kicked off our meal with the Empanada de Vegetales, which arrived piping hot and was beautifully paired with its thoughtful accompanying sauce. However, the true showstopper was the Patatas Bravas. These weren't just any potatoes; they were remarkably soft, light, and perfectly crispy all at once. The signature brava sauce was an absolute revelation, elevating the dish to a must-try status. Based on these two dishes alone, Suspiro clearly excels in crafting outstanding starters. For our main course, the Lomo Saltado con Gnocchi continued the culinary delight. The beef was expertly cooked, and the gnocchi were incredibly tender, practically melting in the mouth. The only slight misstep was the veggie burger. While appreciative of the accommodation for a mushroom allergy, the substituted sweet potato patty didn't quite meld with the other components of the burger. Beyond the food, the experience was pleasant. Our cocktail, served in a uniquely designed glass, added a touch of charm. Wait times were reasonable, especially given it was a quieter weekday, and the staff were consistently courteous. We found the overall cost to be quite reasonable for the quality received.
Modern restaurant with great atmosphere. Service and food are excellent. The restaurant is authentic Spanish cuisine. Need to make reservation for the restaurant. There is free 2 hours parking in the parking garage. Highly recommended.
this review is for S Bar Speakeasy fantastic cocktails, beautiful ambiance, great service, intimate setting. we are adding this speakeasy to our regular visit list. highly recommend.
Lucky, our server, answered all our questions to help us navigate the extensive variety of choices and was attentive throughout the meal… Ceviche, trout, squid, and beef skewers were all excellent and timed perfectly… AND the Prickly Pear cocktail was perfect… 2wice 👍👍
Great tapas place, Peruvian style. We set on the bard and enjoyed the charcuterie and the ceviche mix - super fresh and tangy. We will be back for sure.
I was here for an early birthday dinner. Initially we had a reservation for 5:45 pm and we felt traffic won't allow us to make it on time so we called them and they gave us a 6:45 pm reservation which made it all the more convenient to reach on time. We were greeted well and seated as we were a group of 5 people. The server was a great, he gave us the menu and said I will leave you guys for some time so you can decide on the drinks and menu. When he came back we were ready with our drink and food menu. Mainly we decided on small plates which enough for all of us. I ordered their pisco sour drink which has a egg white too as I didn't want too much of ice in my drink. The service was really great, they play some awesome music so your mood is always happy to be at this place. It was a Friday evening and the restaurant was buzzing with people. The food one by one came on to our table and we really enjoyed everything about this place, even the bill. We did park in the parking garage where the first two hours are free. The did gave the birthday person dessert with candle on it which was delicious too.

Delicious Spanish tapas with a Peruvian twist. The place has cool decors and a hidden secret bar, speakeasy on the back with a small courtyard. They are hidden gems of Santana Row, so don't miss it if you are visiting.
Oswaldo was our server. He was great and attentive! We had a wonderful experience for our friend's birthday dinner.
First time coming here. Reserving online is easy. Staff were friendly. Our waiter really took care of us and had good service. Ambiance is really nice. They also have a speakeasy at the back of the restaurant that had nice ambiance, good cocktails/drinks and good music. The food was good and flavorful. Place is good for girls out, family dining, date, or just because. Would go back again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Oswaldo was a great host! The food was cooked to perfection! I took a big risk getting the tomahawk steak celebrating my bday, and I didnt regret. The Mixto Ceviche was delicious and the flavor was on point. Definitely coming back again to try their Pallela!
I came here for NYE with my date and we had a great time with good service despite it being more crowded than usual and a busy night. The music was amplified to fit the celebrations of the New Year with tasteful decorations and chef specials for the night. We really enjoyed the meat paella with the asparagus and ham croquetas. I liked my cocktail as well, and would like to come back for more.
Came here on a busy Saturday night with a group of girls and sat in the speakeasy outdoor area. Vibe is nice, very elegant and they had a DJ as well. Food was good but service was a little slow. Had to ask the server to take our drink order, food order and for the check. Other than that it was a nice outing
Tried the seafood paella at Suspiro. The vibe was great, but the dish was too oily and lacked salt. Good experience overall, but the food could be better.

The food was good. We tried the Paella Negra and the Ceviche Mixto. The Ceviche is like sour sweet salad and the Paella is just classic seafood rice. The waiter however, was giving off an impassive vibe and it took quite a while for them to prepare the food.
Good: Bloody Mary, tortilla de patatas. Average: steak and eggs, vegetarian paella. Steak was inconsistently cooked, we asked for medium rare and it arrived mostly medium cooked. As other people mentioned, paella was soggy and there was no crisp. It was more like rice a roni or Uncle Ben’s kind of rice. With a few carrots/broccolini/peas/mushrooms on top. One thing that could be improved is that they serve food on hot plates. The food arrived on cold plates and it made the food cool down significantly. Come here for the drink and vibes. Skip paella and steak and eggs, they’re nothing special.

We were excited to try this place as I am a big Spanish food fan. Had a reservation and had to wait a few minutes for the table on a Saturday evening. It was busy. The ambience was great and had tall glass windows which blended with the outside well. The sangria was good. Loved the chicken croquettes. Then came the fish, salmon on a bed of ratatouille and it was horrible. The fish had the fishiest taste and smell. Couldn't even have the veggies as it permeated through. The gambas (shrimps) were regular on a bed of mash potatoes. The patata bravas didn't have enough sauce and was more like fried potatoes. The paella was okay. I like it when it sticks to the bottom. It missed that touch. Also the plates were expensive. Being a Santana Row restaurant, I figured it will be high, but $40 for a plate of fish which was terrible definitely draws the line for me. I am not going back to dine here. But might definitely check out the speakeasy they have at the back.
Loved the vibe here — the interior is super cool, the lighting and music create a great atmosphere, and the live DJ really adds energy to the place. It’s definitely a fun spot to hang out with friends and enjoy some drinks. That said, the service was extremely slow… our server came by only every 25–30 minutes, and we had a hard time finding anyone when we needed something. They also forgot several things we mentioned — maybe they’re just short-staffed 😅. Also, the crispy calamari was $27 for around ten small pieces — honestly not worth it for the portion size. The vibe is 10/10, but the food and service definitely have room for improvement.
Our server was polite and on point. No issues. The classic white fish ceviche was decent, but the tuna version and the shrimp was not good. Not sour enough and was just kinda plain tasting. The Paela de Marisco was terrible. While the rice was okay, but the mussel was cold and a few of them was iced cold. It's like they heat up the rice and then just lay out the mussel on top in the end. It was just a huge turn off. I also kinda worry about food safety as well. Did those mussels needed to be heated up to high enough temp to be eaten? I don't know.. In any case, I won't be going back.
