Had an awesome experience at El Jardín Tequila Bar! Our server Janet was super friendly and attentive the whole time. The drinks were on point — great flavor and presentation. Perfect spot to hang out with friends and enjoy good vibes. Definitely coming back!

We had our lunch at this place and ordered chicken, shrimp and lamb tacos with rice and black beans, along with green sauce and red hot chili oil. The food was delicious but could have been better and the service was excellent.

Krish is absolutely amazing! From the moment we were seated, he made us feel welcome and taken care of. His recommendations were spot on, and he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. Friendly, attentive, and professional without ever being overbearing. Our glasses were never empty, and the support staff made sure the heaters were lit, guests were warm, and the table tops were spotless between service. We always come back hoping to be seated in his section—though sometimes he’s just too popular! Krish truly elevates the dining experience, and we’ll keep coming back for him.

Having drinks on Friday night with live music was an awesome experience at El Jardin, but having a wonderful server made it even better!!!! Janet, our server, was very attentive, friendly, and such a fun time! All the recommendations she gave us on appetizers like the nachos with guacamole were delicious!! Not to say their spicy margarita she recommended was a 10/10, letting us know she really knows her menu and the bar! Definitely going to be going back! If you ever happen to be in the San Jose area, El Jardin and Janet as your server is a must, hands down!! 🙌🏻

I had a great experience at this restaurant/ bar!! The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, perfect for a night out. The food and drinks were excellent—everything came out fresh and full of flavor. What really made the visit stand out was our server Mari. They were incredibly kind, attentive without being overbearing, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. Unique in the fact that it sits between a Mexican restaurant and another restaurant and I believe it's connected to the Mexican restaurant but I'm not 100% sure. Drinks were good food selection was a little bit lean on the outside option but waiting inside would have been 45 minutes to an hour. I recommend finding a heater and sitting outside bar staff was very friendly.

I have been going here from past 8 years. One of the best place in the Santana Row. Amazing drinks and quick bites. I like the atmosphere here specially during December. They do have live music on Tuesday evening.

So they are one of the few registered Resy establishments in the south bay. If you haven't heard of Resy, you are among the majority! As for El Jardin - the menu was kind of sparse - we opted for the Queso birrea - it didn't clear our bar. Next time we'll try other items on the menu. Q: What kind of Mexican restaurant does not have flan on their desert menu? A: The El Jardin kind! :-)

We show up on a Saturday around 4pm and there were plenty of open tables so they sat us right away. We order the guacamole, chicken flautas and barbacoa tacos. Guacamole: 3/5 - they charge $16 for an small dish of guacamole and its not very fresh. Chicken flautas: 5/5, really tasty. Those were some of the best flautas I’ve ever had. Barbacoa tacos: 3/5, meat was dry and pretty salty, also the chipotle salsa that came With them wasn’t something that i feel complemented the tacos and my daughter felt the same way but the tortillas are freshly made and they were pretty good. Atmosphere is definitely 10/5! I would still go here for the atmosphere even if the food wasn’t the best.

I've been to El Jardin a few times. Staff is a bit slow and unorganized...so if you're in a rush, you might want to look elsewhere. I've stopped by for a drink and some food before. More recently...drinks: cafemigos $17 hazy IPA $10 There is a 5% small business surcharge. Food/drink on the pricier end, but to be expected with Santana Row. Garage parking + street parking available.

Atmosphere is so great, prime location, right at Santana Row. We tend to get a table even on weekends. Drinks are overpriced - one pitcher for 60 bucks. Sigh. That feels like a lot. And food is unfortunately quite a disappointment - we have tried the nachos and barbacoa flautas and ended up with upset stomachs the day after every time. Taste is avg.

Food is mediocre at best for the prices. Almost $20 guac didn’t come with enough chips and they charged $7 extra for a tiny paper bag of chips without informing me. If the food was at least decent I could understand but this sucked. Also the pictures they offer to take for you is another cash grab. Won’t sell it to you without their frames

Lovely place, but service and food - big disappointment. Very slow service. No thought put into their service at all. We ordered food, it was delivered. and then we kept waiting for someone to arrive so we could ask for plates and cutlery!!! Food was cold by the time we got our stuff. Tacos were served with no sauce / salsa? They were so plain - they just took tortillas dumped a cold salad on them, and served. When asked for sauce, we were charged 1.50 for the sauce. lol. The chicken wings served were supposed to be half bone in, half boneless. One piece was boneless, rest was bone in (most were drumsticks, no wings). I dont mind a pricey place, but it needs to be worth the price. This one clearly is NOT!
