Incredibly considerate. Would not have survived my late night drive without them.
The Vietnamese pork banh mi is amazing, low wait time through drive through, and delicious Vietnamese coffee. Great spot. Boba has little flavor though.
Staff was so helpful and some of the nicest people i’ve met!!! Coffee and food was delicious would definitely recommend
I say go hear very gud good n very nice employees
Please stop deliveries through Uber Eats. The drivers are not careful with food handling. This place is a hidden jewel. Beef Broccoli with rice and Taro Tea tastes eally good! I like how they are using fresh ingredients for taste and displayed them on the food. Not many restaurants are doing this.
Food is pretty good and service has been good and timely to us. Has a comfy atmosphere and there's a lot of stuff on the menu to try, so might be a good place to hangout, too.
This is my favorite go-to for Vietnamese coffee. (I order the T.C. lite. Its got sweet cream and caramel in it.) I also recommend the Calamari appetizer, the shaken beef cubes, spring rolls, beef stew, and all of their smoothies. Their food is consistently delicious and prepared the same way. Try this place. You'll love it.
We found this place for our business meeting after we discovered that our intended location was closed. And this place did not disappoint! We were seated immediately and were happy to see such a robust menu -- sandwiches, rice dishes, noodles dishes, and PHO...all at 9 a.m.!! And dont forget the smoothies and milk tea! Yuuuum!!! My belly was full all day long! I was finally hungry around 5pm. Perfect! The resterant is big with areas carved out to make it feel more intimate. It was a bit loud, given it wasn't packed, so it was fun enjoying people enjoying being with each other and having robust conversations. Great place to host a party, given its size and diverse menu.
Was in SJ for a few hours and was craving coffee. I didn’t want to go to a big chain so gave this place a try since it was close by. Best decision ever. Best coffee I’ve ever had, I ordered an iced vanilla oat milk latte. Great customer service as well.
I was surprised how good this place is!!! The steak pho so good and I got and orange shake smoothie that was so tasty. Service was nice!!!
This place was delicious. We came for lunch and were sat immediately. Everything on the menu looked good. We decided to try the Ramen they recently added. It was awesome and tha Calamri was just as delicious.
I go here with my father every time we head down to SJ. The Vietnamese iced coffee at this place is amazing, no doubt about that. They've got a versatile selection of other drinks, like milk tea. Food-wise, there's phở and other items.
Great place for morning cafe. Food.
** NEW HOURS ** Never been inside, but always use the drive thru for a Mocha Biana shake and a strawberry kiss & the service is fast, and the drinks are delicious !! I'll definitely try the food sometime soon.
Food was awesome, so many different kinds of coffee. My sister and I both had their mocha Frappuccino, they're giving Starbucks a run for their money! Staff were great, Thank you 😊

Delicious food for the entire family. My picky eater got popcorn chicken (without basil and spice powder) and steamed rice. Also ordered the beef broccoli, spring rolls, BBQ pork sandwich and more. Everyone was pleased. Great atmosphere, conveniently located near 101.
The coffee is indeed good but it’s the first time in my life I ordered two espressos and got two medium sized cup full of coffee and got charged almost $10. At least the coffee is good but never in the whole coffee-lovers-world have I ever seen espresso being served with that large container and also that much content (obviously our coffees were long coffee as well and not espresso). I will not order espresso next time but I might come back to try out other items on the menu EDIT: The Vietnamese coffee, the sandwiches, egg roll and avocado smoothie is mind blowing… and my 🐶 always gets a pup cup! Thank you Coffee Lovers!

One of the nicer cafes in the San Jose area. Main demographic is Vietnamese but all can enjoy the generous amount of tables inside and outside, nice decor, and wide selections of food and drinks. Staff can be young and inexperienced but they are nice and considerate. Bathrooms are decent. Good place for study sessions and hanging out.
I was really surprised by this restaurant. The chef is definitely creative with meshing Vietnamese style cooking with contemporary dishes. Everything I had was pretty tasty and the drinks were pretty good too.
The pho was very good. This location is a little loud due to the architecture, the one on capitol is quieter. They're using QR code menu! Don't sign up for the account, it'll put double click ad malware on all your systems, and shove ads in your face for eternity. Just search for the menu img online.
Very popular meeting place, parking lots is almost always full. Lots of large TVs, service is quick they expect for you to know what you want almost before you sit down. I've been there several times. It's a yes!
Beef stew with 🍜 was good! Tried the Maui waui smoothie. It was great! Will come again to try more from the menu.
When other restaurants are closed in San Jose, you don’t have to suffer. Just go to Coffee Lovers and get your home cooked Vietnamese food fix. Done
Very cute and festively decorated Vietnamese coffee and bahn mi restaurant. Chicken bahni mi was tasty with grilled chicken and typical bahn mi fix-ins. If the owners could add a lemongrass chicken bahn mi to the menu, that'd be so sick! They also have smoothies and American-style sandwiches - a pretty big menu with a bunch of dishes, actually. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor patio seating plus a drive thru.
This is really a rounded up 3.5 stars rating, only because the food I got was quick and actually really good. The experience, less so. I gotta seated right away, and was directed to the now-inevitable QR code menu. However the picture in the frame at the table was not good and took me a bunch of tries to access. Once there, it's a mess to navigate. Stuff is all over the place and some sections are duplicated, which just adds to the visual noise. There is also stuff pictured at the top that I couldn't find anywhere in the pricing below. Once I finally found something, my server was very quick, friendly and efficient, and the food came out really quickly, much more so than when I go to Pho Hoa; they always seem to take forever for the same dish. I got a vermicelli dish along with a milk tea and both were quite good. When the person who brought the food came by, I asked for some ice water. That came quickly, as well, but what wasn't provided was the information that you get charged for that ice water! I know places are starting to charge for stuff that has always been free before, but I think it's their duty to inform us before slapping it on the bill. I'd really wanted the water and was too tired and full to argue so I just paid it, but I wasn't happy about it. If it was called out on that QR code menu, its being a mess is relevant to why I didn't see it. They can definitely do better.
When you walk in they take you to your table quickly. Although the last time I went they took a while for them to get take our order. I have visited probably 3-4 times and they usually do a good job at getting back to you but maybe it was the Saturday night shift. The food is good. I tried the popcorn chicken which I did not expect to be spicy but better than I expected. The chicken avocado pesto is my favorite. Their drinks are also really good and refreshing
My wife loves their sandwiches here. I still like them but not love them, because they can be blamed after eating them too many times. But with that said, it's still a great place for sandwiches because everything else is definitely not worth the price, it's more of a rip off scheme if you ask me. They give you a ring plate or bowl with food and try to charge you $10+, nooo thank you.
Nice, clean and plenty of space for an individual or a group indoors and outdoors. You can just have a coffee or a meal. It's a rather relaxing place right on Truly road in a Vietnamese business area.
Coffee Lovers on Tully and King Rd blends Vietnamese comfort food with a laid-back café vibe. The banh mi is crisp and flavorful, with well-seasoned meats and fresh veggies that hold up even after a long drive. Their avocado shake is rich and creamy—more dessert than drink—and the iced coffee packs a bold punch without being overly sweet. It’s the kind of spot where you can grab a quick bite or linger with friends over drinks. The space is clean and functional, with indoor seating that’s quiet enough for conversation. Staff are friendly and efficient, though the menu layout could use clearer labeling for dietary options. Open until midnight daily, it’s a reliable go-to for late-night cravings, especially when most other places have closed up. Whether you’re solo or with a small group, it’s a solid pick for comfort and convenience.
A Vietnamese restaurant that has good Vietnamese coffee and Vietnamese food. We went to get coffee and realized it was a proper Asian restaurant. The ambience was good and their service was friendly. We got Vietnamese cold coffee, passion fruit drink and sweet potato fries. The coffee was amazing and the passion fruit drink was refreshing. I felt the drinks were a bit sweet but it’s totally subjective. I loved their sweet potato fries, was hot and not that crispy.
Very nice place for coffee with friends. Open pretty early. Family atmosphere. Foods are actually pretty good.
When my dad told me he was going to take me to "Coffee Lovers", I assumed it would be a similar to a Starbucks or Peets, so I was blown away when they had a HUGE selection of food, snacks, smoothies, teas and milk teas! They also have so many places to sit and work and tables to bring groups to socialize. I ordered the Taro Milk Tea and I am not lying when I tell you that it was one of, if not the most delicious taro milk tea I have EVER had. I dinged one star because the ice was filled all the way to the brim on all of the drinks and I'm not sure if adjusting the ice level was allowed. One tiny sip and like, a fourth of the drink was gone. Otherwise, I highly recommend if you're in town!
Giant location with a drive thru. There was a bit of a language barrier, but I was able to get the Iced Vietnamese coffee I wanted.

Decent, not great food. Customer service is also decent and friendly. I like the outdoor dining aspect of the restaurant so that I bring my dog. Big plus because SJ (for the most part) is not dog friendly city.
Food here is alright, but they will charge you $1 for water. The food definitely could use more seasonings for the price since pepper and salt aren't cutting it. The service is sadly nonexistent, so you have to flag them down. Fortunately, there are better options than eating here! I tried to give this place multiple chances, but it failed.
We've been occasionally visiting this location when it first opened. There seems to be some confusion with the other location on Aborn, which we visit frequently from day 1, way back. At this location, we usually eat the Viet banh mi with pate, 4*, and mien xao bo 3.5*. The fried chicken fish sauce good too, 3.5*. The current menu has some interesting items in there such as the jalapeños steak sandwich. It's like a fusion of philly steak, subway, and Viet banh mi thit nuong, 3*. We used to really like the Thai tea and bo nam (crushed avocado) but it evolved into something which we haven't tried again in a long time. Overall 3.5* cuz it gets the job done.
Been going here for years. Tried the BEEF STEW for the first time. Extremely disappointed with the portion they gave me. For $16 it was really skimpy serving size. Not much stew. Thien Long has the better stew, will just get it there moving forward.
I’m confused by the name Coffee Lovers. Minimum credit card charge $10 so it’s not a coffee stop; it’s a full Vietnamese restaurant. Coffee was average.

My husband and I visited this place for the first time last week and we were a bit disappointed. We were hoping to get a simple black coffee but it didn't work out. No where on there busy menu did we see regular black coffee. When we walk in we were greeted and asked if we were going to sit but when we said to go she brushed us off and asked us to go to the counter. We took a few moments to look at the menu but it was too busy with too many unknown choices. This coffee joint caters to Vietnamese coffee lovers. I've never had Vietnamese coffee and I will try one day but it will be at an establishment that is inviting and friendly and not rude to non Asians. 😑
Not sure how to rate them. I was excited to check them out at a customer meeting this morning. Swanky, high end, beautiful facility, good vibe, felt hip and very relevant, a cool place to hang out with friends, do business and eat as well as have coffee. Only issue is I ordered the Shaker beef and got food poisoning, sick for hours later.... I'm hoping it's a fluke, I'll go back and try again, hopefully with better results.
This place is usually my go to spot for sweet drinks or a meal since it's drive thru and close to home, but today when I ordered the fried rice I got PIECES OF EGG SHELL!?? IN MY FOOD? I literally almost choked and died had I not felt the jagged pieces of shell when I took my first few bites. I will not be getting food here again and would rather drive across the street to Starbucks. I posted a pic for you all to see as well
The owner thinks it's his best idea to refuse using the proper paper menu for his customers, forcing them to use their smart phones to order their food or drinks. What if they don't have smart phones? What's even worse is that when questioned about this, one of the servers said that it's not their job to cope with customers' complaints. If the customers have a problem with that, they have to call the boss directly. What kind of attitude is that? Good luck with your business.
We were excited to eat here but the service is just down right crazy slow and inefficient. It took us over 30 mins just to order and then the food came out sporadically. Weird. When we finally asked to see someone, they became defensive and blamed it on the fact that they're busy. Really? What restaurant tells you that they're busy so they don't have to get your food to you? Spend your $$ elsewhere.
Don't go here. Waitress never came back to get our orders. Maybe it's our disposition but I thought it was really rude she would server the couple behind us and ignore us outright even after trying to make eye contact and flag her down. We eventually left and settled for drive thru at the Taco Bell/KFC next door before we went home. I don't recommend the place. If I had best describe it it's more of an asian cafe than for *coffee lovers. Would not recommend this place ever.
Food at this place was okay, reasonable price. Only issue was that one employee name “Cuong” provided bad service, yelled at customer. A side note to Cuong: if you are not happy don’t come to work and chase customers away. The restaurant needs to keep the business going, please don’t ruin their business.
Bad experience Here! Worse of the worse phố. I had the so called "Pho Đặc Biệt" (House special Pho)...it is special alright. The broth, tsk tsk tsk....they used Chicken Broth for their Pho soup! Places like this make Bad name for the traditional Vietnamese beef noodle soup aka Phở! Slow in sercive as well. We drove From Vegas and we all tired. saw the "good" reviews on google, so we gave it a try. Tried it! Never will come back nor recommend this place!
