Pastry Dreamland. Everything is delicious including the Avena (Farina) and coffee. Just do it!
If you want a really a delicious Tres Leches cake, you should come here. It's so good.
I always ordered my tres leches from here. Love this bakery. Very nice employees and customer service is great.
Pastries are delicious even the sugar donut tasted the same way from years ago. I was 100% in awww! Shocked. Happy will go back for more. Recommended.
Such a special lower East Side bakery, run by the most darling of bakers. Places like this are so special. If your in the area go try out these yummy confections! You won’t be disappointed and it’s perfect if your on a budget. One of the last havens for those of you with a sweet tooth and on a tight budget.
Just enjoyed a slice of very moist and fresh pineapple cake, old school Dominican style. Brought many memories of my childhood. I'm thankful this place is still around. The neighborhood is slowly disappearing. I recommend this bakery. Great prices and friendly service.
The cakes here are soooo delicious!!!! I've ordered a few cakes from here and they do not disappoint. Affordable prices too. FYI it's a cash only place but they have an ATM if you forget your cash. Go here get a coffee and some sweets or food. You won't regret it.
A small no frills family owned Dominican bakery located on the lower level on Clinton St in the heart of the Lower East Side. From what I hear, this bakery has been here for a very long time. If I had to take a guess, I would say at least 20 years. When you walk in you will notice that this place is super small as in it looks like a small narrow hallway. The interior looked like nothing has been changed since the 1980s-1990s. It's very clean inside and the staff and owner are very friendly. They carry birthday cakes, pastries, cookies, flan, pudding and the list goes on and on. They have a grill so they make all kinds of delicious sandwiches. A favorite of mine is The Cuban. They also have fresh hot empanadas ready at all times. They make custom cakes also. The prices here are super reasonable especially for the area.
So good. This place has been here for DECADES so happy they have been able to stand the test of time despite the gentrification of the neighborhood. Why? Very good cake. No matter what flavors you need they can make you a FRESH cake from one day to the next. Always in time and perfect. Prices are amazing too. Enjoy
$10 for a BEC is absurd. Also disappointed there's no updated Price menu for egg inflation. Customers should know the updated prices before ordering.
Bought a tres leche cake. I said wow so perfect as is. And she boxed it we left. Come home this woman had put 4 🍓 and im highly deadly allergic. She should had asked. She comes out and blames me for not telling her. Let me explain cake was plain and perfect. As I had mention. Why add strawberries and 🍓 syrup. W out asking. Later in the owner changed it. For me.
I had the tembleque for $1.25 and the flan for $2.50. the tembleque was better than the flan. i would have preferred both to be a bit thicker in texture. i dont like it too soft. the flan would have been good if it wasnt for the sauce. it had a weird after taste that i wasnt fond of. it didnt taste like the sweet caramel tasting sauce i'm used to when eating flan. it wasnt horrible. i ate it. but i wouldnt buy it again. i just dont like the taste of the sauce which to me is suppose to be the best part.
Okay so i reallllly wanted to like this place. I came all the way from staten island to try a tres leches cake from here for my sons birthday and let me tell you i have never had a more terrible cake in my life. This cake was dry and stale as if it’s been there for over a week. I am absolutely disappointed, and my son was so upset now i have to get him another cake. Don’t waste your money or time.
Here we go, The lady that took my order over the phone was very rude but I still let it slide. I then sent a courier to pick up my wife's dominican cake for her birthday but apparently they don't take cards, only cash. So I speak with the lady once again and her response was, well you didn't ask. Really??? I don't work there and it doesn't say that on your website. Talk about unprofessional. Luckily my courier paid out of pocket and was still able to the get the cake for me. He also informed me that the lady had an attitude with him as well. Shocking lol. This is my first and last time ordering from here. Rossy's Bakery nearby is way better but they didn't have any cake's available today, so that's why I had to order from this unfriendly place. Never again and it's sad because with all the gentrification, there's very few legit Latino Bakeries and Restaurants in this area.
I usually buy a slice of Tres Leches Cake which is very good so I decided to order a small tres Leche cake. It was not a Tres Leches Cake it was just a three layer cake with whipped cream and strawberries nothing about it said Tres Leches.. I also wrote down what I wanted written on the cake which was Merry Xmas when I picked it up it had Feliz Navidad. I was so disappointed
I order a cake chocolate favor chocolate color provided the topping design and got a white cake with the topping longer then the cake. I so upset cause she only had to do the cake and add topping she didn't listen to anything I ask for. Horrible first experience
